Nate Lawson began covering the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in 2008. He spent the past three years working as a Staff Writer for Heavy MMA.
In regards to your article dated oct 4th mo fighters who most known for being injured and backing out of fights. Yes Lil Nog should be #1 as proven today when he backed out of Gusto fight less week after signing. (DISGRACE IMO) However based on age i believe the worst offender is Rory McDonald.
Jon Fitch used to back out of bad match ups in the UFC on a regular basis
Bisping backed out of Boestch fight less than 4 hours after hearing Stann separated his shoulder and had to back out of Lombard fight. Bisping knew since they were scheduled on same card it only made sense to replace Bisping for Stann and Lmbard had begged the UFC to fight Bisping. Its all a cat and mouse game for alot of these fighters to avoid bad matchups
Your article touches on this subject and i would like you to use your skills to expose some of these repeat offenders that drop out of bad matchups. add koscheck to your list to he is playing the old Bob Cook/Fitch avoid bad matchups also these days
Your passion for MMA and hard work doesn't go unnoticed and is appreciated
Nate: Big congrats on the new job!
So I was browsing MMA Mania when I noticed a Junie Browning interview. I hadn't heard much from that crazy bastard since his incident, so I decided to check it out. Much to my surprise, the interviewer was Nate Lawson. I was like, "whooa, I know this dude!"
Good to see you doing big things. Sounds like Junie is back to his cocky, pain in the ass self.
hey Nate if you have a minute... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/278837-could-kryptonite-stop-superman-not-in-the-judges-eyes thanks
I temporarily took over the Fantasy Pool for UFC 104. Check out the updated standings.
Check out my latest article on Shogun Rua, based on an interview I did with him this week. (a bit of a comeback article for me) Thanks!
