I don't like to read articles with slideshow option. Your's was the traditional view. Any thoughts?

I don't control article placement, so I'm not really the best person to ask this question. But I can try to explain:

Basically, it depends on a couple of factors, such as how soon you write the article and whether or not other writers are writing Vikings articles at the same time as you. If you are competing with a Minnesota FC, they will get priority placement. Right now, we have a lot of football articles in our system, so sometimes, articles will get buried because of timing issues and writers they are writing ahead of. Plus, it does take time after an article is edited to get placed, to update a team page, etc.

I'm not sure what you're an FC for, as your writing interests seem to be spread out, which is totally fine. But if a Vikings FC writes before you, they will get the placement.

I know this doesn't make much sense, but again, I don't control this so it's hard to explain. If you have anymore questions, let me know and I'll do the best I can to help.
