  • Favorite Sports Teams

Phillies, Sixers, Eagles, Flyers, The Big 5

  • Favorite Coaches

Don Nelson, John Chaney, John Calipari, Roger Nielson, Fran Dunphy, Buddy Ryan,

  • All Time Sports Moment

Gotta be the Phils PHINALLY winning the World Series in 2008.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Phillies winning the NL East in 2007 on the last day of the season. CBP was shaking, everyone and I mean everyone was standing. The realization that we were about to win our first division title since 1993 was running through my head, things were crazy, the craziest atmosphere I've been in. Before the Parade this past season, I've never been more proud to be a Philly fan.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Wayne Gretzky's 92 Goals in a season 1st, and He is 2nd with 87 in a season, neither may be broken.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Mays, It's crazy to say but Mays is kind of underrated. Everyone remembers "the catch," but he is one of the greatest all around players of all time.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Unitas, He revolutionized the QB position, without him the game could be very different. In my mind he's the best QB of all time.

  • Jordan or Russell?

Russell, because he actually had other in the league while he played that were as dominant as he was. To still be as great as Russell was and have legit competition makes his accomplishments even greater.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Gretzky, I love Orr, and I know he revolutionized the offensive defensemen, but Gretzky is "The Great One,' I mean c'mon.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Maradona, The more physical player, I always say that Soccer is not only underrated as a sport, but the physicality of it is also underrated. A superstar like Maradona playing as Physcially as he did is what makes sports great.

  • Federer or Sampras?

Whew, get back to me when Federer is done? For now, Sampras, only because Federer's career is still going on.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Well since I took Sampras on the last one I'll take Nicklaus until Tiger is done. We all know Tiger will be the best golfer ever when he's finished. So until he is, we'll let Nicklaus keep it.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

Not a Nascar fan, but I'll go with Earnhardt, he seemed to have a "up yours," kind of attitude and I like that in a superstar athlete. One who knows he's good and dominates without humillity . Sportsmanship never won anyone a championship.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

Even though I don't like Nascar, I love Formula 1. Gotta go with Schumacher, Senna was great but Schumacher's resume is just overwhelming.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

BIG 5!!!! If you wanna see REAL college Basketball, come to Philly, that's where it lives.

    Hey,

I know you are a big NBA fan and if you are a true NBA then you know of the travesty that is currently happening in Oklahoma City. I am not talking about the Sonics moving there, I am talking about Kevin Durant being held captive on that team.

The team is stuck in a perpetual cycle of rebuilding. How are they going to resign all those high draft picks? They can’t offer everyone one of those guys over $10M a year and if they sign Durant to the max offer of $14M a year, which they’ll have to, then they cannot afford to sign a good supporting cast to help him win.

So, what I am asking for you is to come help me out with FreeDurant.com and write little posts about why it would be great for Durant to come to your city and help your team win a championship.
If you are interested go here: http://www.freedurant.com/about there is an email link on the bottom of that page.

Let’s create a storm to get Durant out of OKC to a place where he can win a championship!

And the site is going to be going through some revamp soon, just taking a while to get the graphics done.
