That's pretty sweet coaching up the next wave of Mike Glynn's and yelling like Bauman. As for me on b/r, it was a long process. First, I gotta credit Andy Brown for leading me here as he told me about it. Then I wrote a piece in a word doc about the NFL and sent it as an attached email. I was approved to write voluntarily and basically at my own leisure. Mind you this was in Oct. of 2010 and much has evolved since. I was then part of the sportswriting internship and thereafter I got to where I am now. From the time I wrote that word doc piece until I became an NFL on-call writer was roughly 10 months of unpaid writing. But without question, it was worth it.

it's quite fun. NFL is my forte. coaching HS football? And when I first read "Jacksonville" I immediately thought "Florida". Then I read "Illinois" and was sad. Cuz Id rather be where its warm, plus Ive never heard of Jacksonville, ILL. sounds like a grand ole time bro.
