Hey, I'm Thomas Leemon. I'm an 18 year old freshman in college from Baltimore. I'm currently freelancing at Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland. Although I'm from the States, I spent most of my teen years in Thailand because my parents are missionaries there. I discovered that I absolutely love soccer while I was in Thailand.

I'm a huge Manchester United fan, although I've never been to a game, I've followed the club very closely. I also love MLS. I hope it becomes as huge as La Liga or the Premiership some day. I'm sort of a mutt when it comes to my athletic allegiances. I've got the KC Royals and St. Louis Cardinals from my dad, the Cincinnati Bengals from my grandmother (but not the Reds, thanks to Marge Schott), the Kentucky Wildcats from living in Lexington, the Michigan State Spartans from college, and all Detroit teams except the Lions from finally living near competent baseball, hockey, and pro basketball teams. My perfect day is 4 hours of Premiership football in the morning, followed by an afternoon baseball game.

My name is O'Dell Isaac, but nearly everyone I know calls me Ike. I often feel like I'm swimming in a digital sea while wearing an analog life jacket, but this blogging thing is starting to grow on me.

I served as a journalist in the Navy for ten years, during which time I wrote more than 100 sports articles. As a native New Yorker, I root for the Giants, Yankees, and Knicks, in that order (for now). As you can imagine, Boston is killing me right now. The Red Sox are defending champs, the Celtics just won the title, and the Patriots will be back. The Giants are the only thing keeping me off a window ledge.

In so much sports writing these days people want to lament what is wrong with sports. Increasingly journalist and fans have seen themselves as the guardians of the times when sports were “pure”. They lament how money and greed dominate the game instead of effort and humility. Apparently 50 years ago athletes did not care about making a living. They lament all of the off the field incidents in sports because apparently 50 years ago players were angels. They lament the steroid era in baseball because no player 50 years ago tried to get a competitive advantage by stealing signs, scuffing balls, or paying a stripper to keep the opposing team’s best player up the night before the big game. I am 18 and probably the most informed person on this site, I am a wrestling and sports fanatic, I will be posting more than just wrestling, I am getting my degree in Broadcasting so that way I can get on TV and share my opinions, sounds great huh? I also have a great streak in picking college football games aswell, its weird but I have an 89% in getting it right, but I am not old enough to gamble so my mom does it for me, just kidding she doesn't anymore.
