Mother Watson is much better; when that's the case, you better believe that her son is doing pretty well, too.

The outpouring of love, support and sympathy for myself, my mother, my wife and the rest of my family has been most touching. I don't have the words to truly express how I feel, so I will just offer up a deep, heartfelt "Thank you" for the bulletin board notes, e-mails and Private Messages. I have literally been encouraged by people from all over the globe -- 5 different continents -- and from all walks of life.

I would like to think that Bleacher Report is a special place that draws exceptional people together!

I admit I used to play the game where I was focused on moving up the ladder at B/R, trying my best to be the top writer and all that. But now I no longer pimp my articles, or look for websites to artificially increase readership, and I'm satisified writing what I want and not some nonsence just to attract reads.

Yep, I spent about a year ranked #1 in MLB and the Cubs, and was ranked as high as #2 overall on the site at one time. These days, I am happy simply contributing to the site and allowing others to take the mantle.

I think I am still the Chicago Cubs community leader, and I know I am a featured columnist for the Cubs and Bears. I have written more than 500 articles, though I ca...

Kelly's has a love of NASCAR that borders on obsession. Since July of 2001 she has been hooked on this fast paced sport and it only took 160 laps at the Daytona International Speedway and a Dale Earnhardt Jr. victory to seal her fate.

Since then she has made NASCAR a major part of her life and plans for that to continue as she earns her Bachelors Degree in Corporate Communications in hopes of becoming a journalist for the sport she loves so very much.

I play drums and can play a lot of the Beatles songs on the piano! Anyway, this is a sports site not a music site so I'll stop there! My dream job would be GM of the Seattle SuperSonics. Now my dream is dead. So I will have to get Mark Cuban money, buy a team ( I don't care who) and move them back. Then I could be the Jerry Jones of the NBA. If I can't be the Sonics GM, then how about the Seahawks GM?

Thanks to Bleacher Report I have been lucky enough to have NBA, NFL, Draft and Fantasy articles appear on or linked from FOXSports.com, CBSSports.com, USAToday.com, TNT.tv (NBA on TNT Page), LA Times Fabulous Forum, NYDailyNews.com, MSG.com, Canada.com, and a handful of blogs and websites.

I'm 16 years old, I turn 17 on January 28th. I was born in Rockville, MD, and I now live in suburban Silver Spring, MD. That said, I am no DC fan. Truth be told, I can't stand DC. I'm a Baltimore guy. Love the Ravens, love the Orioles, love everything related to Baltimore.

Some people have this emotional story that hits you hard about how they became a sports fan. Not me. I had a VCR back in the day (back in the day means 1998), and I would buy these "Year In Sports" tapes. I loved watching the Cowboys play back then, so I was a football guy right away. I would often go into the front yard with dad, and he would throw to me, and I would count how many times I caught the ball, as opposed to drops. Then in 2001, I watched my first baseball. Diamondbacks-Yankees. World Series....

Born in the pristine southern city of Savannah, Georgia, I lived a Huck Finn childhood of fishing, shrimping, crabbing,and swimming in the intercoastal waterways of coastal Georgia. I grew up playing football, baseball, basketball, and boxing. I now live in the beautiful state of Idaho, and enjoy the drop-dead gorgeous outdoors here in the Gem State. What a place to live!!

Though I now live in Idaho, I remain loyal to the Georgia Bulldogs. I bleed Bulldog red and black! How 'bout them DAWGS!

I have written weekly articles for several newspapers over the past 15 years.

While I enjoy almost all sports - I LOVE College Football!!!

I normally leave the game day analysis to others here on B/R, as there are so many that are so good at that. I greatly enjoy reading their article...

I am a diehard Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. I obsess over every facet of the game. My true love is the statistics of the games. I am always trying to expand my knowledge through new and improved stats I can use in my articles.

I love reading articles on this site. Feel free to post any and every of your articles on my board, especially if it deals with the Eagles or Phillies, and I can virtually guarantee you I will read it and leave a comment.

Brian Dawkins is my favorite athlete of all-time. No one plays the game with as much passion as he does. He's a future Hall of Famer, a man of God, and a leader on and off the field. Jim Johnson, you will never be forgotten.

My life has been changed forever by the 2008 World Champion Philadelphia Phillies. I never thought I woul...

Nestor to his son Antilochos;

"Lean yourself over your polished car...A little to the left of your steeds;

Call to your right hand horse and goad him on, and slacken with your hands his reins.

Then let the left hand horse swerve close around the turning post,

So that the nave of well made wheel may seem to reach the stone's edge;

But avoid to graze it!"

Hey everyone, I'm Nino, a MLB Community Leader here at B/R. If you ever have any questions leave me a note on my board. I try to read as many articles on the MLB section as I can but obviously I can't get to all of them and I apologize in advance if I can't leave a comment. Just know I do my best to read it if you take the time to write it, but between school or my job and all the other things I've committed to, time or my energy tend to get low.

My favorite sports are football and baseball. But I'm a baseball nut and I'm a die hard Indians fan, and as you can tell that's pretty much the only Ohio team I like, that doesn't really make me popular around my area. Not that I had a shot at that to begin with.

I run a complete blog that covers everything Cleveland Indians. Check out t...

To the left is a picture of me near the top of Mt. Lemmon -- the only location of snow in Tucson, Arizona.

Currently in high school, I run cross-country and track (one-mile and two-mile). I have a deep love for all Minnesota sports, but I have a deeper love for my Creator, Jesus Christ. I believe that I am saved by grace, through faith in Christ alone. I hope to bring you entertaining and relevant articles while I rant on whichever Minnesota sport happens to be struggling.

I recently came closer to Mexico when I moved to Tucson, Arizona, but moved farther away from my Minnesota sports.

No, I don't limit my interests to Minnesota sports. I love all sports, but I tend to gravitate towards baseball. I will try to find peace with Arizona fans and maybe pick up a team or three.

******* I am going to try and use most of my time to start writing on BR weekly again.... With the other opportunity not working out, this place gives me the best chance of exposure, along with great talk with rabid sport fans..

My favorite writer is Leroy Watson. The guy is always passionate about his writing, and has inspired me to improve on my skills as well.

This is my son Daniel, who was born on June 16. This was one of the pictures taken to commemorate his turning 100 days old; this is a custom in Korea, the nation where he was born and where we live together. He'll never be his age again, and so I need to experience as many of these moments as I can with him and his mother.

It's been an honor to serve as the Community Leader for the tennis domain, but I feel it is time to let that mantle pass to someone who can commit more to it. Furthermore, with the tennis off-season on the way, I feel that now is the time for a break.

You'll see me again, probably in time for the Australian Open, but until then ... play on.

On May 16, 2009, I took a walk on to a stage and was given a green degree case (still waiting for the actual piece of paper in the mail, by the way) that signified the end of a five-year journey. I can now say I am a graduate of Humboldt State University. I was a member of the HSU men's soccer team for two seasons while manning the pipes for the Jacks (even though I never officially got in a game).

I am one of the community leaders for two great sections: San Francisco Giants and Serie A.

I am a baseball purist and root for my beloved San Francisco Giants every day of the year, no matter how they are doing in the standings. You challenge that? Check my wardrobe.

I do pray to Saint Lincecum every fifth day.

We like to establish our dominance with a fastball. We pitch inside w...
