I'm currently a freelance MMA writer living in Ontario, Canada.

I've always been interested in combat sports, and the incredible athletes that compete in them. I believe in MMA, and want to share my knowledge and enjoyment with the world. I am a dedicated MMA analyst, and enjoy breaking down the technical details of MMA bouts, while providing further insight into the many intricacies of the sport.

I've trained in martial arts, and am currently training in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Proud daddy and husband. I love baseball, the Yanks in particular. I cherish a good little league game. I enjoy writing anything I can about MMA. Roots, regional stuff in particular. A writer since 1994, Josh has an extensive background in covering sports. After leaving the business for a few years, Nason found blogging in 2007, starting up New England sports and media centric Small White Ball.com and being the first sports blog to break the news on the ESPN Dana Jacobson story. In 2008, Nason started RopesRingCage.com - a site focusing strictly on MMA, wrestling and boxing.

I am an avid sports fan as I watch anything that is sports related. I was introduced to mixed martial arts during the first season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2005. I was hooked immediately and it quickly became another passion of mine along with the NY Yankees. I graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 2000 and combined my love of mixed martial arts along with my love of writing and started penning articles for Fightticker.com, I parlayed that into a role with one of the industry leading websites, Five Ounces of Pain. I currently write for MMA Opinion and The Examiner which allows me access to fighters, events and some behind the scenes information that I normally would not have access to.

I'm big fan of baseball, MMA and basketball, in that order. Am an honours graduate of Cambrian College's Print Journalism Program, past sports columnist and reporter for my local daily newspaper and current newsletter editor.

I'm currently in somewhat of the P.R. field (compared to journalism, let me tell you, P.R. is where the money is) for my provincial government, so I'm writing on Bleacher Report to try and keep my journalistic insticts alive and well.
