I'm a Double Domer with a strong interest for Fighting Irish football. I specialize in the numbers, meaning I track statistics and the schematic chess matches that go on during the games. 3 - Lewie Pollis
Writer bio
Lewie Pollis is a brilliant, witty, and exceptionally handsome high school senior from outside of Cleveland, Ohio.
An Indians fan since before he can remember, Lewie adopted the Red Sox as his second-favorite team in 2003 because it was an effective outlet through which to channel his hatred for the Yankees.
He got his first subscription to Baseball Weekly when he was four. As early as his T-ball days, Lewie would sit in the dugout and mentally calculate his teammates' batting averages while he waited to bat. While he no longer plays the actual sport in an organized league, he is an incredible fantasy baseball player. Someday Lewie will be GM of a major league team--unless he becomes President.
In addition to reading and writing about baseball, Lewie spends his time reading Wat...

My dream job would be GM of the Seattle SuperSonics. Now my dream is dead. So I will have to get Mark Cuban money, buy a team ( I don't care who) and move them back. Then I could be the Jerry Jones of the NBA. If I can't be the Sonics GM, then how about the Seahawks GM?

I am an independent investment professional who likes sabermetrics (baseball science) because of its similarity to analyzing stocks: download numbers onto an Excel spreadsheet and try to "mine" the data.

I am a 25-year-old aspiring baseball writer. I grew up to stories of Willie Mays, the Miracle Mets and the Bronx Zoo from my father. Although my playing days never amounted to much, baseball has always remained my passion. I moved to Boston from the midwest and have come to both enjoy and loathe the hype and hysteria of living in the heart of Red Sox Nation. The Twins are my team, a result of being born and raised in Iowa and attending college in Minnesota. Although I'd consider myself a baseball fan first and foremost and a Twins fan second. If you're ever in the mood to talk baseball, or any sport for that matter, you can drop me a line or leave a comment on my blog.

I have been a fan of the NFL since I can remember. While growing up through the 80s, I followed NFL greats such as: Eric Dickerson, Bo Jackson, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Dan Marino, Lawrence Taylor, Ronnie Lott and Brian Brennan (who is a great player by Browns fans standards)
Not only am I a huge fan of NFL football and college football, but I am also a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. I remember going to my first game back in the 1980 at old Cleveland Municipal Stadium, and being stuck behind one of the infamous pillars in the lower deck. That game was one of the most excited moments of my youth! The sounds, atmosphere and crowd really made the entire experience special for me as a young boy.
Now, even through all the turmoil of the franchise continuing its rebuildin...

I'm from the city that also plays host to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame and Fawcett Stadium. Canton, Ohio. Perhaps that's where my love for the game of football originates from. Or perhaps it was the years of watching and then playing the sport that gives it a very special place in my heart.

Sports are a huge part of my life, both indirectly and directly. I would like nothing more than to 1 day be a professional sports writer.
I played baseball for 10 years until recently, and I play varsity tennis for my high school. I'm a die hard Mariners fan, and have been since I was old enough to be, even through the miserable times of 2004-2006, and of course 2008. Liking our chances this year though.
I'm also a Seahawks fan, but I really don't have the football expertise necessary to write about them, or even to talk about them in detail. Baseball is my sport, and really always has been.

55 years old, married, three children, two grandchildren. Can't remember when I didn't love sports and NY Yankees. Remember as a kid watching Sunday afternoon baseball with my Grandad. Played baseball through college, coached some, now just a fan. Live too far away to get to many games live, but have traveled to New York, Cincinnati and Chicago to see Yankees play. Love to go to minor league games and get MLB on Direct TV to see as many games as possible. Read everything I can on the Web including New York newspapers to follow Yankees. As a kid was a huge NFL fan and sort of lost interest, but have picked it up some in last few years because my wife is a huge Colts fan. Enjoy college basketball. Can't stand NBA. No interest in hockey or NASCAR.

You can normally find her in front of the TV whenever there are cars on the track: practice, qualifying and racing. And if it's July you'll find her at the Daytona International Speedway, her home away from home, for the July Coke Zero 400, a tra...

Hey everyone,
Thank you for visiting Mark Jones' profile! You can check out my latest activity on the site on my play by play, check out my latest articles and what I write about, see my writer statistics, find out my favorite players and such in my short list, or post me a note on my bulletin board.
As you may notice, my Bio has recently gotten an overhaul, just as I am trying to do with my topics covered. I am currently trying to convert into an NHL-focused writer, mainly based for the Hurricanes. If this works out and I don't completely kill myself with it, you can expect diminishing contributions from me in the MLB, College Fooball, and NFL communities.
As most of you know, I'm a teenage sports fan living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am a competitive swimmer, and I enjoy ...

I'm a New England Patriots fanatic. I've been a Patriots fan since I was 8 years. I was born in New York but moved to the New England area when I was 8 years old.
I'm interested in writing about the New England Patriots and the NFL. I 'm a hardcore Patriots fan and follow the team all year long preseason, regular season, post season, scouting combine/ draft, minicamp, and training camp.
I 'll be with the New England Patriots no matter what.

"I was leaving late one night, and this tall skinny kid approached me holding a pizza box. I said, 'I know who you are, you're Tom Brady, sixth-round pick from Michigan.' And he replied, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' I was stunned. The ...

I would call myself a serious die-hard-Raider-fan and a mild fair weathered Golden State Warrior, San Jose Shark, Oakland A's and SanFrancisco Giant fan. I have been to a few 49er games as well but I would not call myself a fan. In the past I have been known to jump on the Sacramento King bandwagon come post season but as of late with neither the Kings or Warriors making the playoffs I'm limited to rooting against the lakers.
I mainly write opinionated and/or speculative articles, Mainly about the Raiders but I will ocassionally write about other teams.
Though I don't always agree with him I will defend Al Davis, especially from uninformed "trolls" who really have no idea what they are talking about.
Opinions are like assholes everyone has em, and I have alot....Opi...

My name is Trey Botkin. I love college basketball and am a huge fan of Duke basketball. Writing about something I love is a passion of mine, and I'd like to share it with everyone else.
My family is big into sports, and so there is always a buzz going around. I'm known in my family for my big talk, but most of the time I'm right. I am a fan of all sports and love talking about them with others.
Some of my brothers are big North Carolina fans. When I was young, I just decided to be the rebel, and have enjoyed watching competitions between the two programs. I respect North Carolina, but I don't talk highly of them.

Born and raised on Alabama football. I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on the subject of college football. The venues, the coaches, the players, the history...I love it all. It is my number 1 source of entertainment.
When it's not college football season, it's recruting, then spring training. When I'm not doing something relating to college football, I am either working, sleeping, or spending time with my family.
This guy is obsessed you say? You may be right. But that's just the way it is. The worse part is that everyone that is closest to me is the same way.

I'm a young lebanese writer who is in love with the world of football. Football has always been more than a sport to me, its a separate universe by itself, a beautiful one i might add... I enjoy watching football, playing football, whether in reality or in videogames like PES,FIFA, or manager games. I like analyzing controversial issues which confuse readers, because i think football is the only thing worth a small headache.
Like anyone of you, i am a fellow human with a mission, not any specific mission, but i want to do something special in my life that will help humanity. My country has a background of political differences, so we live in a society filled with multifarious life ideoligies, and i'm proud to say that i try my best to take in the the good from all what surrounds me.
