I'm a 23-year-old Public Relations major who is beyond obsessed with college basketball. I've followed NCAA hoops, especially in the Southeastern Conference, most of my adult life and I've created my blog to share my interest and thoughts.
I approach basketball a bit differently than most. While I have many opinions, most of them are based on statistics and analyzation. I enjoy mulling over unique insights that those stats provide and I tend to compare and contrast them and imply how they may relate to each team's performance. Think Ken Pomeroy but more words.

I am a lifelong sports fan, especially college football and basketball. I am a writer for titletownfl.com and fireoleary.com I also enjoy NASCAR, the NBA, MLB and the NFL.
I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida. I believed the lie that a college degree would open doors. Little did I know it was the door to the poor house. Oh well. Just wait until the try and collect on those student loans. LOL.
I am thankful that I grew up when I did. I lived through the hard times of being a fan of the Gators. And I am now enjoying the good times. And hopefully I am young enough to enjoy living in the past when this era is a couple of decades old. My kids are going to be spoiled. They've never known UF to not be a dominant program. My dad is enjoying the good times now, but for ho...

I have been following college football, specifically Auburn football, since 1994. I was a co-host and eventually host of a sports talk show called "The Dream" on WEGL 91.1 FM for two and a half years. I am just an amateur sports guy, and I always have an opinion on what is going on in the world of sports. My opinion is usually never "objective and un-biased." I'm a fan first, and one is to never forget that in the world of sports. Feel free to contact me at any time at P_Tiger_scrug@yahoo.com.

One day, I intend to either be in a front office making personnel decisions, or be part of the media analyzing said decisions.
Currently, I am attending Middle Tennessee State University. Despite that, I grew up in the shadow of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and still consider myself a Boilermaker at heart. It's for that reason that I'm now a B/R Featured Columnist for Purdue basketball.
I also maintain a blog at http://starr-rated.blogspot.com/. Check there for the occasional Starr* Rated exclusive that does not get posted here on B/R...like the Current Exclusive "UGH-A: A Robot Mascot? WTF?" There, you can also read much of what I post here on B/R, as I intended it, before editors start hacking it up. :-P Kidding, guys, I appreciate the occasio...
