Congrats to Horn, Ren, Carelli, the entire No. 33 team, Delana and Kevin Harvick, for winning both Drivers and Owners Championships and also to the Goat, J.R. and Newman for making the 2009 Truck season the best ever stats wise for KHI.
"We spend so much time sweating the small things, rather than seeing the big picture and anything is attainable when you see the whole picture."
Thank You and God Bless Fort Hood Police SGT. Kimberly Munley, for putting yourself in the line of fire and saving lives. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
I'm a avid auto racing fan, but only like the NCWTS in NASCAR, it's my favorite series these days and the series reminds me of old school NASCAR. I'm talking NASCAR 20+ years ago, like the mix of the young talent, with the wily veterans...

Recently (Nov 10 2009) I have been given the honour of being a featured columnist on the Toronto Maple Leafs by the BR family, cheers! Still love to write on NBA NFL MLB and other NHL teams.
Sports is real...It's not the Jerry Springer show...Sports is real...It is not propaganda cooked up by the government...Sports is real! It’s athletes striving to be the best at what they do. So much of life is a farce. Sports is real...Whether it’s an NFL LB smashing a RB head on, that hit happened...Sports is real... Whether it’s Rick Nash dangling around 3 or 4 players and burying the puck for an unbelievable goal...It happened...Sports is real. You get the idea...Sports is real...and it’s really happening. I love Sports!

A native of Memphis, TN, I currently reside in beautiful Bellingham, WA. I've always harbored an affinity for the West Coast, and once the stars alligned, I moved here on a whim in 2005. I write for a music magazine up here, but with the advent of March Madness in 2009, I felt compelled to commence writing about my OTHER passion, sports; hence my appearance here.
In addition to writing about music, I also play it. I'm a veteran of several bands up here in the Northwest and Memphis as well.
Although I love to write, I find it hard to write about myself in one all-encompassing blurb, so henceforth, I'll let my articles do the talking.
Take care!

I have been here now for seven months, and I finally will write a proper bio (somewhat).
I originally became a sports fan by watching some major sporting events without realizing it (1998 World Cup final, 1999 Champions League final, 1999 MLB Playoffs etc), and from the excitement that I got from watching these games, I started to take a deeper interest into many different types of sports all throughout the world.
Around six months ago, I was searching Google when I came across an article that criticized Federico Macheda after he scored the winning goal for Manchester United over Aston Villa that Sunday, which was on this site. After seeing it and reading it, I realized that I could write something better than that, and that caused me to start my career here on B/R.

I am a 25-year-old aspiring baseball writer. I grew up to stories of Willie Mays, the Miracle Mets and the Bronx Zoo from my father. Although my playing days never amounted to much, baseball has always remained my passion. I moved to Boston from the midwest and have come to both enjoy and loathe the hype and hysteria of living in the heart of Red Sox Nation. The Twins are my team, a result of being born and raised in Iowa and attending college in Minnesota. Although I'd consider myself a baseball fan first and foremost and a Twins fan second. A simple Nascar fan from Cali trying to bring a different writing style, as well as a different perspective to our sport! I am a 25+ year fan, and have written over 750 blogs on NASCAR alone, which most of them can be found at NASCAR.com under the screen name frevr3fan. I love Saturday nights at Irwindale Speedway, which I call my second home. I’ve met alot of drivers there, Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, David Gilliland, JJ Yeley, Jason Leffler, Ron Hornaday, Joey Logano just to name a few. I can be very opinionated at times, because of the high energy level that NASCAR brings out in its fans. I always try to write for the sport, without being biased towards any driver or team. Every driver deserves an equal chance, and what gives us fans the right to deny them that opportunity. I also lov...

Tom is a former sports writer for the Tampa Tribune. He spent 10 years covering Florida State football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the PGA Tour. He won two national writing awards from the Golf Writers Association of America.
During his Tribune days, he had personal interviews with Jack Nicklaus, Muhammad Ali, Bear Bryant, Don Shula, and a long list of legendary athletes. During the 1979 Florida State football season, coach Bobby Bowden dubbed Edrington his "personal good-luck charm." It was an incredible season for FSU and culminated with the national championship game in the old Miami Orange Bowl where the Seminoles were defeated by the Barry Switzer-coached Oklahoma squad led by Heismann Trophy winner Billy Sims.

Growing up in college football hotbed Oklahoma in the '80s in a home split along Bedlam lines, Allen Kenney's pro-OU dad got to him first. Despite lighting out for school in the college football wasteland of the Northeast at the age of 18, his passion for the game never waned. After graduating from Villanova University in 2001, Allen bumped around the country for a bit before settling temporarily in Chicago to complete a master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Since then, he has worked as a writer and investigative reporter in Washington, D.C., and recently completed a part-time MBA program at The George Washington University School of Business.

Born in Mexico, I moved to the Houston as a four year old kid in 1982. I spent five years there and began forging relationships that would last a lifetime. Yeah, some of that was with other people, but what really stuck were my relationships with Houston pro sports. I have since moved all over the country and currently reside in a small town on the east coast of Florida, but my passion for Houston pro sports has never wavered.
That passion reached it's greatest heights in the mid nineties when the Rockets won back to back NBA championships, but came crashing down only a few years later when the Oilers left for Nashville. My faith as a fan was shaken, but eventually rebuilt when the Texans downed the Cowboys on opening day, 2002. It's been a bit of a bumpy ride, but now we're r...
