I'm a sports nut that loves to talk shop. I follow all sports from the NFL to Nascar to PGA. I enjoy writing about sports almost as much as I enjoy playing. My writing focus has been on football, but I always enjoy a challenge and I'm looking to expand.

A graduate of Marshall University's School of Journalism and Mass Communications, Matt earned his bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism in December of 2007. While at Marshall, Matt served as reporter, columnist and sports editor of MU's student newspaper, The Parthenon. Matt was the A/V intern and No. 2 radio broadcaster in the summer of 2007 for the West Virginia Power, the one-time Class A affiliate of MLB's Milwaukee Brewers. He was married in September 2008, moved to Michigan and is now a PR/game night intern for the Kalamazoo Wings of the International Hockey League.

Hi. I am 23 years old and have just completed my fourth and final year at the University of Durham, England where I achieved a 2:1 B.A degree in French, Spanish and Catalan.

Having done work experience as a write for a local newspaper recently, I hope to complete my NCTJ within 8 months and become a sports or travel writer at the Independent or the Guardian.
