3 - Andrew Kahn

Writer bio

I've written for The Journal News, The Michigan Daily, and am proud to say I was the Sports Editor for my high school newspaper, The Huguenot Herald.

My favorite sports to watch are pro baseball, college football, and college basketball, while my favorite to write about are the aforementioned as well as golf. In 2008 I graduated from the University of Michigan, where I witnessed countless classic sporting events in addition to getting a great education.

I can be reached at andrewjkahn@gmail.com.

4 - Pete Treperinas

Writer bio

Hi everyone. The name is Pete "The Greek" Treperinas. I'm 17 years old and I'm a senior at Shorewood High School. I live in Seattle, and consider myself a die-hard Seahawks, Mariners, Sonics (RIP), and Oregon Ducks fan. Someday I hope to pursue a career in broadcasting or journalism. Now that the Sonics are gone I'm a Blazers fan, so we'll try that this year and see how it goes. It feels pretty weird not having a team up here in Seattle though. My ultimate goal here at B/R is to become a senior writer.

6 - Jason Coldiron

Writer bio

I've lived in the Sacramento area for about 30 years. I grew up going to A's and Kings games with my Dad. I can remember when the Kings moved to town. I grew up rooting for the Kings, A's and 49ers and still do, as hometown blood runs deep. I watch and live sports for the great memories and incredible feats I've witnessed. I am a bit bitter at Jose Canseco for tainting my childhood memories with his cheating. When it comes to writing about sports I try to be as objective as possible, while still telling it like I see it and having insight of my own.

  1. NBA (34)
  2. Sacramento Kings (28)
  3. Game Recap (25)
  4. NBA Pacific (19)
  5. Basketball (17)
  6. NBA Southwest (12)

I got hooked on the NBA from the early 80's when Dr. J, Larry and Magic were the men.

I still looooooove the NBA. Chris Paul is Dis-Gus-Ting.....and I think Rudy Gay will be huge this year.

I'm a sports writer - mainly NBA, but from travelling and living in Australia(Melbourne), England(London) and Canada(Toronto - or tronna as they say here!) means I follow Cricket, Aussie Rules, Soccer, Tennis, Olympics.....pretty much everything.....just NOT rugby !

I'm enrolled at the College of Sports Media in Toronto. For any that don't know, it's a college that focuses on all aspects of Sports Media - Writing, Editing, Producing, Directing, On Camera, Radio....everything.

One day, I hope to be hosting NBA TV, talking smack with Peter Vescey and the gang.....so you might see my mug on...

8 - Jaime Irvine

Writer bio

I am a 28 year old sports fanatic. Having played basketball in college, the NBA and the NCAA are my two favorite sport leagues and most of my writing will be concentrated in these areas along with Youth basketball.

Recently, along with a few partners, I have launched a new website called basketball.org. Basketball.org is a website dedicated to enhancing the game of Basketball. Currently we are running a blog until we launch our full site that will cater to players, coaches and fans.

The website plans to be a collection of high school, college and NBA experts dedicated to enhancing the abilities of basketball players, teams, and coaches worldwide through the use of innovative technology, and some "old school" techniques.
