Whats up everyone! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check out my profile.

I would like to start out by thanking the 9,000+ people that read my article on Troy Polamalu and the Madden curse on Friday, 9/11. It is such a great honor that so many people took the time to read what I had to say. That is really the reason I write here on Bleacher. Not to get the AOTD or things like that, but so that I can share my thoughts and opinions with great people, like you!

If you know of any other sites that linked my article, please let me know, so I can thank them as well.

For those of you that like what I have to say, I have started writing for a new website called,

http://www.go-steelers.com/

Make sure you register. You can comment, and leave messages, similar to here...

I'm from the city that also plays host to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame and Fawcett Stadium. Canton, Ohio. Perhaps that's where my love for the game of football originates from. Or perhaps it was the years of watching and then playing the sport that gives it a very special place in my heart.

I'm 20 years old and currently working a job that I hate in a restaurant, I'm good at it, but it's not a career option. I'm looking into college for journalism, perhaps Miami Of Ohio or Akron at the moment.

I'm dating a wonderful girl named Shawna and I'm loving being a father to her daughter LaDonna. Those two have my heart in a vice grip that's never going to be released.

I'm 100% without a doubt a diehard Steelers fan. As far as other sports go, I'll watch the NBA (Lakers) and NHL (Pen...

It's a hockey night, in Pittsburgh!

Alongside Sergei Miledin, I write for a hockey website, www.fromrussiawithglove.com, which focuses on the Russian takeover of the NHL. Also, if you have an interest in that other league, the KHL, be sure to check us out.

I was a 4-year starter on my high school varsity tennis team, and I also played RW for our club hockey team. I've had 5 career hat tricks and I scored 7 points in a game (4G, 3A) on 1/20/07. I use the same stick as Pavel Datsyuk for those wondering.

I'm from Washington, Pennsylvania...about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh. I'm a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Pittsburgh Pirates. My two best areas of expertise are professional football and baseball, although I have a lot of opinions on other sports.

I hold a degree in Secondary Education, Social Studies from California University of PA and I graduated from Trinity High School in Washington.

I aspire to sportswriting, coaching, and teaching so it will be interesting for me to see how I do at this. I always have something to say about sports, so this will be a nice laboratory for me to get that out.

I grew up in Pittsburgh and bleed black and gold. I'm most passionate about the Steelers and Penguins but also follow the Pirates (when they aren't 100 games out of contention). I am now a roving member of Steelers Nation, having lived in several different places over the last twenty years, but have never had a hard time finding lots of Steelers fans regardless of where we have ended up. I'm also a big college football fan, following Air Force (and the Mountain West Conference), Pitt and Penn State. My wife and I have three girls who I am working on turning into Steeler diehards.

I moved to Pittsburgh the fall of 1970 to attend college. I am sports fanatic with football as my No#1 obsession. I bleed black and gold for Steelers, Pirates, and Pens. I've been a Pirate fan since 1960 and fell in love with football in 1965 watching my first JV football game. Since living in Pittsburgh, I have witness 2 World Series and 4 Super Bowls during the 70's. No place could be more electric than to be in Pittsburgh at that time. Since the 90's Pittsburgh has won 2 Stanley Cups and 2 out of 3 Super Bowls. It would be nice to have the Pirates win a World Series before the end of this decade.

Brian Carson

8 - Brian Carson

Writer bio

Brian Carson was born in Central Pennsylvania in 1966 and fell in love with sports by the time he was six years old. Football and hockey were his favorites and he has spent many frustrating, sometimes exciting, years rooting for the St. Louis Rams and Boston Bruins.

Brian was a sportswriter for 14-plus years with various daily newspapers in Central Pennsylvania before he left to help his wife Maria run their restaurant business in 2004. Sports never left him and Brian continued to write for various Internet sports sights and blogs - including the Pennsylvania Football News.

Brian is now committed to coming back as a sportswriter on a full-time basis, on the Internet, with the Bleacher Report as his launching pad.

Writer bio

J. C. Sirimarco (aka J. Cheever Loophole, Rufus T. Firefly, Joe Cool, The WiseGuy and a whole slew of other nicknames) is basically a literate, semi-smart, aging but still rabid sports fan who has been around a while. While his expertise is generally in the sport of baseball, having played the game for 27 years, he is a rather analytical mind who has learned much about a number of other sports and is as well-versed to write, comment, pontificate, etc., as anyone else who is not a professional.

Born and raised in Black & Gold Country (that's western Pennsylvania, for those of you who attended public school in the last 30 years or so), but now living in the Seattle area, he has earned BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and an MBA in Finance. And as a...

I'm a huge sports fan - actually, like all sports (playing and watching), but my favorites are:

Watching
Pro Football - love my Steelers
College Football - except the BCS
Hockey - especially the playoffs

Playing
Skiing (if you can call that a sport)
Golf
Anything else (as long as you have to run, jump, catch and/or throw)

I've been looking for a writing outlet, so here I am. I hope you read and enjoy my articles/comments.

I'm excited to join the team as a blogger at Experience the Evolution (http://pensevolution.blogspot.com/). The 2009-2010 season is going to be great!

I'm a long-time Pens fan from Western PA (now living in Los Angeles). For many years, I was unable to follow the Pens closely. I have had a demanding job and have been living in hostile territories (Washington, DC) and a place that just doesn't care about sports if it's not the Lakers or Dodgers (Los Angeles, of course). Plus, the East-West time difference doesn't help. Last year, while forced to quit working while I was treated for cancer, I ordered NHL Center Ice, and was able to become a hardcore fan again (and the timing was great). Now I'm hoping to stay more involved in hockey. I read more and I'm working on my writing. I...

I was born & raised in eastern Ohio. I've lived in the same small village since I was 2.

The 1st picture of me ever taken was in a Steelers' shirt. The Steelers (and the NFL) are my passion. Until last season when I was able to change my days off to Sunday & Monday, I would take a vacation day every time the Steelers played. I bleed black & gold.

I also love Penn St. football. I became a fan of the Nittany Lions during my freshman year of high school. Until then I would watch college football but focused mainly on pro football. I was drawn to the Nittany Lions for a couple of reasons. One being that I live in the heart of Buckeye country and for whatever reason just didn't like them. And two being that I like and respect Joe Paterno.

I am a 22-year old who recently graduated from the University of Dayton, enjoying this journey on the so called "job hunt" as I look to find work related to my interest in sports.

While at Dayton, I joined the staff at the school's radio station and co-hosted a weekly talk show while broadcasting a few of the basketball and soccer games.

I am currently a Featured Columnist for the Cincinnati Bengals here at Bleacher Report and one of the team's Community Leaders. I am fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to write about them and will do my best to provide some of the best content for the Bengals on the internet.

I am a 25-year-old aspiring baseball writer. I grew up to stories of Willie Mays, the Miracle Mets and the Bronx Zoo from my father. Although my playing days never amounted to much, baseball has always remained my passion. I moved to Boston from the midwest and have come to both enjoy and loathe the hype and hysteria of living in the heart of Red Sox Nation. The Twins are my team, a result of being born and raised in Iowa and attending college in Minnesota. Although I'd consider myself a baseball fan first and foremost and a Twins fan second. I am a 20-year-old Pittsburgh Penguins fan from the DC Metropolitan area.

Despite my love of hockey, my choice of sport was always soccer growing up. I played competitively for 13 years but upon entering college, needed a break from the sport. The steady decline of interest in soccer in the States along with the loss of the WUSA helped with reigniting my love of hockey I had as a kid. My dad being from Western PA, my choice of team was obvious. I watch every Pens game unless classes get in the way and I will give you my own post game analysis. As an amateur, I have no previous writing experience besides my blogging on NHL.com. Though I may be a hardcore Pens fan, I like to think that I can watch a game with an unbiased eye and give fair comments regarding either team. I will n...

When you are next to the youngest in a family with 12 children, 8 of them being boys, you are predestined to be a fan of competition and sports. And having 7 older brothers has done that for me. It has also taught me to be a great debater so if i believe in a point of interest, i will defend my point to no end. I've been a sports fan all of my life. I grew up in South Florida so the only professional sports I had were the Miami Dolphins and Spring Training with the Expos and Braves. No basketball, no hockey - mainly Football. I was there for the '72 perfect season and knew all the players and stats (I was 8 years old). My folks were from outside Pittsburgh so I had the Steelers etched into my being and my dad took me to a live game at Three Rivers Stadium. That was around the time of their amazing winning era. So I have always been a Steeler fan at heart.
I played alot of Baseball as a youngster. I was a Pitcher and Outfielder because I had a pretty good arm. Only 1 guy hit a homer off of me in my Little League career. I remember Hank Aaron coming to our field one time and signing autographs ...
