I would like to say that I think it's important to write your own words because you feel they are worthy, not because they may be popular. I write from my head and sometimes from my heart. I typically write pieces that offer analysis, breakdown, and a more critical view on what's being said. I also write things that I think will genuinely help people.

I have been here now for eight months, and I finally will write a proper bio (somewhat).

I originally became a sports fan by watching some major sporting events without realizing it (1998 World Cup final, 1999 Champions League final, 1999 MLB Playoffs etc), and from the excitement that I got from watching these games, I started to take a deeper interest into many different types of sports all throughout the world.

Around six months ago, I was searching Google when I came across an article that criticized Federico Macheda after he scored the winning goal for Manchester United over Aston Villa that Sunday, which was on this site. After seeing it and reading it, I realized that I could write something better than that, and that caused me to start my career here on B/R.

I grew up in Pittsburgh and bleed black and gold. I'm most passionate about the Steelers and Penguins but also follow the Pirates (when they aren't 100 games out of contention). I am now a roving member of Steelers Nation, having lived in several different places over the last twenty years, but have never had a hard time finding lots of Steelers fans regardless of where we have ended up. I'm also a big college football fan, following Air Force (and the Mountain West Conference), Pitt and Penn State. My wife and I have three girls who I am working on turning into Steeler diehards.

I am a 19 year old Journalism student at Eastern Michigan. I have always loved sports, and made a decision that i love them so much that i want to cover them for a living. I just recently ended an Internshipi at 97.1 the Ticket in Detroit with Doug Karsch and Scott "The Gator" Anderson. There they discovered a gift i received from my girl friend, which happened to be a Red Wingsjersey reading "Love Machine".Since then the name has really stuck with me.

I bleed green and white. I'm a sportswriter for the Flint Journal (Flint, Michigan) and the head sportswriter for Mott Community College. I also cover the Flint Generals of the IHL on BR, although there is NO IHL page. I grew up a Tigers fan, learned to hate the Lions (but I love Barry) and have been a Red Wings' fan before Detroit was called HOCKEYTOWN. I'm waiting for the Pistons to restore themselves to an Eastern Conference powerhouse like they were in the previous decade (2000-09).

Hey everyone. Nice to see you on my page.

I am obviously a huge sports fan and just as big a fan of writing about sports. I like to consider myself a sports encyclopedia, and here are some other things I believe:

- I know Jordan pushed off Russell, but then again, it was Jordan
- MLB players who test positive for performance-enhancing drugs should be suspended one full season for their first offense
- I prefer GoodFellas over The Godfather
- Curling is not a sport
- Tony Romo will never get to the Super Bowl, let alone win it
- Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time
- Barry Sanders is the best running back in NFL history

Writer bio

Peter Bojarinov, a native of Toronto, Ontario. Is a huge sports fanatic. After finishing school in the University of Windsor in Drama and Communications and his post-grad at Humber College in Design, he worked at Rogers Sportsnet and Woodbine Entertainment Group. Currently he works on his own ambitions, while applying himself to contract work.

He is a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and all other Toronto sports teams, as well as other professional sports teams. His knowledge of the game of hockey, and other sports is up there with his knowledge of "Yo Momma" jokes.

He tells it how he sees it, and has been known to go over the line when he feels it is neccessary.

He is also a fan of everything that is entertainment, as he continues to edit and produce videos. He ...

I'm not a writer by trade, rather I am a history teacher at a small parochial school in Michigan. I'm also a professional hockey player at the beer league level. You'll be happy to know that I have successfully completed four out of five rehab programs, and all my favorite foods are simple carbs. I'm a biased Red Wing fan (a little redundant, eh?), so my editorials will seem more like team propaganda. They don't pay me anything, though. (Bastards)

That said, I love that hockey has made a home in the warmer climates. Ducks, Stars, TB—all looking good.

(Not like Detroit though)

Kyle Holland

Writer bio

Kyle is a simple man. He currently is studying to be a history teacher. He loves hockey and books about war. He enjoys a nice light cigar in one hand and a cold brew in the other. After that he enjoys a nice bit of chew. His favorite player of all time is Steve Yzerman and his favorite team is the Detroit Red Wings. Although his favorite team is the Red Wings, he loves the game of hockey and everything about it.

Detroit Lions Community Leader on B/R
#2 ranked writer in Detroit Red Wings
#21 ranked writer in NHL

I'm a graduate from Northern Michigan University where I majored in Entertainment & Sports Promotion. Sports have been a passion of mine since birth.

The Detroit Red Wings are my favorite team in all the land followed closely by the Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions. I enjoy all Detroit sports though. I grew up in Detroit and I'll stick by my teams (even the Lions) til the end.

I get inspiration from writers like Mitch Albom and Drew Sharp of the Detroit Free Press. Mickey Redmond is my favorite color commentator of all time.

I've been fortunate enough to have some of my articles syndicated so far for CBSsports.com and the Detroit Free Press.

I also now wr...

Native Virginian, although born in Washington DC. I have always been a sports aficianado. It's like the xmas commercial when the husband cuts himself trying to take off the tag on his new Favre jersey. His blood is yellow green and black. That's how I feel about the Redskins. Burgundy and gold is what I bleed.

I love college basketball, and pro hockey as well. Big time Terps fan.

I will try and get back into baseball this year. The A-Rod scandal brings a smile to my face.

Anybody but the Cowboys and Yankees in my book.

Throw me a line anytime. And thanks for sharing your opinions and ideas with me.

I will respond with an honest answer regardless of feelings, so don't be offended.

I respect everyone's opinion on B/R. :)

Name's Nelson Santos. Banker by day, amateur hockey analyst by night. Big time Flyers fan.

Dream job would be Amateur Scout. I'd work for any of the 30 teams in the NHL.

I still play the great game myself as well as watch and analyze as many games as the wife and kids will allow.

Dan Kelley

Writer bio

I am a die-hard Philadelphia Flyers fan, and a huge fan of the sport of hockey in general. I strongly believe it is the greatest sport in the world. Outside of hockey, I am a fan of soccer, tennis, and baseball. I think football is overrated in America, though I do tend to find myself watching it every weekend. I've grown up on the east coast, mainly around Boston and Philly, so most of my allegiances lie in one of those two cities (except, for some reason, I consider myself a Denver Broncos fan).

I hate any sports team affiliated with New York (not counting Buffalo). I make an exception for the Islanders, because I feel bad for them.
