Sports Marketing Internship Opportunity with Bleacher Report, Inc.

Summary of position:

Bleacher Report is seeking sports marketing interns to creatively assist in sports blogger recruitment, send Bleacher Report story links to populated blogs and other online sports media outlets, and hold presences on sports message boards.

Bleacher Report is a venture-backed startup company based in San Francisco that specializes in fan-driven, online sports journalism.  We are experiencing rapid growth.

Work requirements: 

•    10-12 hours per week
•    You may set your own schedule, but must maintain consistent work hours.

Compensation:

This is an unpaid internship, but we do offer course credit.

Required skills/experience:

•    Strong knowledge of and interest in professional or college sports
•    Familiarity with online sports sites, blogs, and communities
•    Competence with a computer and internet navigation
•    Two semesters at marketing (business) or public relations (journalism) school preferred (but not necessarily required)
