Sports Editing & Marketing Internships
Internship Opportunity with Bleacher Report, Inc. (www.bleacherreport.com)
Summary of position: Bleacher Report is seeking editing interns to revise and publish online sports content in a professional and timely manner. In addition to editing responsibilities, Bleacher Report is also looking for marketing interns to represent the company in their respective collegiate sporting communities.
Description of company: Bleacher Report is a venture-backed startup company based in San Francisco that specializes in fan-driven, online sports journalism. We are experiencing rapid growth.

Work requirements:
§ 12 hours per week
§ You may choose the hours and days you edit ahead of time, but you must be able to abide by whatever schedule you set
Pay Status: This is an officially unpaid position, but in the past we have given out small stipends for excellent work upon completion of the internship. We do offer course credit.
Required skills/experience:
§ General knowledge of and interest in professional or college sports
§ Basic understanding of the rules of English grammar
§ Competent with a personal computer and comfortable using the Internet
§ Two semesters at journalism school preferred (but not necessarily required)
Start date/Application deadline: We are looking for someone to start work immediately. The internship would formally end after 90 days or when a semester is completed.
