B/R is Looking for Community Leaders

Hey Gang—Dave Mo, B/R’s Community Coordinator here!

We are currently looking for Bleacher Report members to become Community Leaders for team and section pages.

Community Leaders will be responsible for assisting me in maintaining a positive and welcoming Community atmosphere here on the Open Sports Network.

What is a Community Leader?

A Community Leader is a B/R super user who motivates, moderates and excites a specific Community on Bleacher Report.

We’re looking for people who enjoy interacting with fellow B/R members in the following manner:

Mentoring new writers — Show them the ropes. Post their new articles on your profile or other writer’s bulletin boards and help them gain recognition in the Community.
Helping turn a good writer into great writer — Offer positive feedback and guidance. Work with writers to help them get to that next level.
Being a leader — Become the go–to guy or gal for your Community! Lead the way in helping your Community grow in size and quality.

The type of individual we are looking for is positive, outgoing, knowledgeable and has great communication skills.

The job isn’t all glamour. You will need to fill out a monthly Community Status Report and maintain a positive attitude in the face of individuals who enjoy getting under people’s skin and being overall pains in the butt.

Be sure to include a link to your B/R profile and a paragraph on why you feel you would make a great Community Leader for your section.

Some things to include in that paragraph:

How would your Community benefit from your leadership?
What are some ideas you have for collaborative content in your Community?
What would you do to encourage a positive atmosphere?
