I just recently received my Masters degree form Cal State Northridge and am considering the pursuit of my PHD in social studies/history. Along the way, I have developed a passion for USC football, which I have followed for more than twenty years. In a somewhat less myopic state of mind, I also follow all things college football and most sports in general. My other passion is politics and I am very involved in following the day to day workings of the Washington DC movers and shakers. Now single after my ex-fiance got smart, I have decided that my next relationship will be with a woman who matches my interests or can share me with the things I love. In the meantime, I will get along following the things that make me happy.

Growing up in a suburb of San Francisco during the ‘80s, it wasn’t hard falling head over heals for the local sports teams. The Bay Area squads were at their pinnacle and it seemed like the products they were putting on the field were immaculate. And at times they were.

Having parents that were not die-hard sports fans didn’t really help my progress in learning the ins and outs of sports, but it didn’t hurt that my next-door neighbor was Fred Quillan, the center for the San Francisco 49ers at the time. Seeing him leave for games and practices was surreal, almost like watching a warrior right before he heads off to battle. It made me want to learn everything sports related. And the sport really didn’t matter, Football, Baseball, Tennis, whatever.

I have followed the 49ers an...

I am a sophomore at the University of Oregon and I have an unhealthy addiction for sports. The Oakland A's and Major League Baseball are my biggest passions, but for some reason college football and the Ducks are creeping up as a close second. I am double-majoring in Sports Marketing and Public Relations, and am currently interning with San Francisco-based boutique tech PR firm, Vineberg Communications. Inspired by Bill Simmons and the guys from Around the Horn, I am not your typical sports writer. So if you're tired of the typical AP style game-recaps, and want witty, insightful prose about the Oregon Ducks from a college student's point of view, I am your resource. I have my own blog called the The UO Sports Dude, to visit, go to http://uosportsdude.com

I love college sports. Need I say more?

Ok well I will. I am a Oregon Duck fan first and foremost. I am not a conference cheerleader but I will defend the Pac 10 when people down talk it without reason. I love college football. I read a handful of preseason magazines every summer. I have 5 tv's in my living room through football season so that I don't miss very much. I like to travel around to the differnent college stadiums as well, no matter who is playing. I have been to 9 college stadiums in the last 5 years.
I also like college basketball, but not to the extent of football. I do my best to follow lacrosse, track, baseball, softball, cross country, gymnastics and as many other college sports as I can.

If it seems like it has been a while since I have written anythin...

I'm a 23 year old from Fountain Hills, Arizona. I graduated from Northern Arizona University this past July and currently live in Scottsdale, AZ. I have loved sports my entire life and have been writing about them for various websites and blogs for the past few years.

I grew up mainly a basketball player but football has always been my favorite sport. I have been a diehard Washington Redskins fan since I was six years old and no team can match my enthusiasm for them. As far as the NBA goes, I am a Los Angeles Lakers fan all the way. I was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii.

When I was 10 years old, the Lakers were playing an exhibition game against the Nuggets at the University of Hawaii's stadium. A friend of mine had courtside tickets and before the game...

I'm Alex, I'm from London, and I have a job as a journalist. About insurance. If there's anything that can drive the person truly mad, it's years of writing about insurance. Trust me. I know.
But my biggest love is sports. In the UK I love my soccer teams, but I have my big American passions: baseball and football. Sure, I can deal with the odd NBA game and March Madness, as well as a bit of the NFL, but give me Ken Griffey's swing and a Penn State White Out any day of the week.
So here I am. I have a blog - The View From North America - http://viewfromnorthamerica.blogspot.com that I hope you'll look at at some point.
Oh, and I also have a column on the UK's biggest commercial website, Sky Sports. Here's the link: http://www.skysports.com/opinion/0,25219,16560,00.html

I am a fourth year student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication as a Broadcast Journalism major. I have been involved in sports for my entire life.

As a child, listening and learning from my father, and then playing as soon as I could walk and run - Little League, AYSO, and Club Soccer throughout California. As I grew, I added football and basketball to the mix, until entering high school where I dedicated all my efforts and focused on football.

I was an undersized blocking and goal line tight end who also doubled as a defensive linemen and linebacker, standing at a meager 6'2', 231 pounds - a throwback to the old days of football. My dad would have been proud to see that.

Since then, I have spent a lot of time around college football. As a memb...

My name is Kyle Sponseller. I am a student at the University of Oregon majoring in Journalism with a concentration of news/editorial. I see myself with a career in sports journalism and hopefully become successful doing so. Two of my most favorite things in life are writing and following sports, by combining the two there is nothing better.

I am a lifelong Ducks fan and have not missed a football or basketball game in the four yeas that I have attended the UO. Along with being a rabid Ducks fan, I am also a die hard Portland Trail Blazers...(I see great things in the near future!).

My dream job would be GM of the Seattle SuperSonics. Now my dream is dead. So I will have to get Mark Cuban money, buy a team ( I don't care who) and move them back. Then I could be the Jerry Jones of the NBA. If I can't be the Sonics GM, then how about the Seahawks GM?

Thanks to Bleacher Report I have been lucky enough to have NBA, NFL, Draft and Fantasy articles appear on or linked from FOXSports.com, CBSSports.com, USAToday.com, TNT.tv (NBA on TNT Page), LA Times Fabulous Forum, NYDailyNews.com, MSG.com, Canada.com, and a handful of blogs and websites.

I have appeared on The 2 Live Stews radio show, Patrick Mauro's radio show Sports Overnight America, and I was mentioned on Sportscenter's Blog Buzz.

I have two great passions in my life: My family and Georgia Bulldog football. In the "offseason", between January and August, I entertain myself with things like Braves baseball, national signing day, and the NFL Draft. However, it's all just a way to kill time until I can watch football again; there is no sport greater in my opinion. Go Dawgs!!!

I usually explain my near savant like knowledge of football and love for the game like this: I have brothers. And I went to USC. That shuts about 50% of inquisitors up. heh.

So yeah, About Me. I figured it was time I put something on this page for my readers.

Hi! I’m Amy, and I am Your Gridiron Goddess. I am a West Coast based writer and fanatical USC Trojan fan. I was born in Chicago, so claim as my birthright my love for Da Bears, The Cubbies, Da Bulls and even the White Sox. My family moved to Las Vegas when I was in 6th grade and they all still pretty much reside in Nevada. I moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to go to the University of Southern California where I majored in changing my major, staying in school forever, and being the best damn Delta Gamma ever. ha ha. I am a UCLA graduate and a longtime fanatic of Bruin sports who joined Bleacher Report because I'm pursuing a writing career, and feel that I can combine my love of sports with my love of writing to write some articles and to get my opinions out there.
I have also been a baseball fanatic, having been involved in the game as a player and a coach for over 25 years. Like my grandparents before me, I have been a Dodgers fan since age 10. I also like the Padres and the Cubs.
Officially, my favorite sports are baseball/softball to play, and college football to watch.

I'm a die- hard Michigan State Spartan fan, first off. I love baseball, and I myself, like many of you on BR, am an aspiring writer! I'm the head sports writer at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan; home of the Bears, and I will now be covering The Flint Generals Hockey Team as well. Go green, restore the roar in Detroit (Tigers), the Lions never had a "roar"... I'm also a huge Wings fan, and I'm awaiting the day the Pistons become an Eastern Conference powerhouse like they've been all decade long.
