I am an old school Alabama fan. I live, eat, and sleep college football. I played the game, so I know a little about the sacrifices these kids have to make. I have been involved with Alabama football since Bear Bryant's glory days. I have witnessed Alabama winning 7 National Championships..
When I die I plan to have my ashes spread over Bryant-Denny stadium. I only ask that I live long enough to see Alabama win another national championship. It's beginning to look like my days are numbered!
I have been banned from AuburnUndercover, TigerDroppings, Gatorenvy and Volnation apparently for just telling it like it is...

I'm Alex, I'm from London, and I have a job as a journalist. About insurance. If there's anything that can drive the person truly mad, it's years of writing about insurance. Trust me. I know.
But my biggest love is sports. In the UK I love my soccer teams, but I have my big American passions: baseball and football. Sure, I can deal with the odd NBA game and March Madness, as well as a bit of the NFL, but give me Ken Griffey's swing and a Penn State White Out any day of the week.
So here I am. I have a blog - The View From North America - http://viewfromnorthamerica.blogspot.com that I hope you'll look at at some point.
Oh, and I also have a column on the UK's biggest commercial website, Sky Sports. Here's the link: http://www.skysports.com/opinion/0,25219,16560,00.html
Thanks ...

College football is a great way to pass time and I love the drama. With that in mind, I try to keep it all in perspective. I love to listen to Rivals Radio (Bill King), only read the paper for sports and absolutely love the Crimson Tide.
Times have been tough since Stallings let go of the reins but Nick Saban is the perfect fit for Alabama and kudos to Mal for a good choice.
Love the Atlanta Braves, NE Patriots, Baltimore Ravens D, Peyton Manning fan (Eli too) and all SEC competitions. I will even watch a swim meet or tennis match if it is SEC. My wife loves...

I have two great passions in my life: My family and Georgia Bulldog football. In the "offseason", between January and August, I entertain myself with things like Braves baseball, national signing day, and the NFL Draft. However, it's all just a way to kill time until I can watch football again; there is no sport greater in my opinion. Go Dawgs!!!

I'm 21 and a current college student who loves college football and Boston College football. Also pretty much anything to do with Boston/New England sports.
I go to so many Boston College games I should just become a season ticket holder which might happen real soon.
I'll write a lot about Boston College and the Atlantic Coast Conference. Also I will write stories about teams and conferences throughout college football.
I follow College Football so close its like a second religion to me.
Also I've found some people who comment on articles make baseless ones at best and also make ones toward others that are demeaning and geared to boost their overall personal agenda.
On an other note...when talking about the team/s you support never use "we" or "your&quo...

First of all, I'm a die-hard Michigan State Spartan fan. I'm a writer for the Flint Journal (sports), and the head sports writer at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan; home of the Bears, and I will now be covering The Flint Generals Hockey Team (IHL) as well. Go green, restore the roar in Detroit (Tigers), the Lions never had a "roar"... I'm also a huge Wings fan, and I'm awaiting the day the Pistons become an Eastern Conference powerhouse like they've been all decade long. I grew up on Sand Mountain, in North Alabama. People in Texas think they define football. I know different. People in the Deep South are who make football what it is today - especially College Football. We sit and wait for 9 months every year until the first week of September rolls around, when the leaves just begin to get ready to fall, and a cool breeze sweeps over the field. Finally, it's time to don the armor and take the field. Break out the banners and the car flags - it's football time in The South!! It's as Southern as is our accent. It's a way of life - it's OUR way of life. We're glad the rest of you have gotten on the bandwagon!

I grew up in the SEC....literally. Both parents went to Tennessee, both sisters to Georgia, and then I ended up on the Plains in Auburn (or "planes" as I graduated in Aviation Management). I still have a soft spot in my heart for the Vols but at the end of the day I will always be a Tiger. My real job consists of flying corporate jets out of the Birmingham area. It's the best job in the world unless Obama continues to bash comapnies for the use of their jets while slumming around in his 747 for photo ops....sorry, I get a little carried away at some of his rediculous stunts.
I am married to the most beautiful woman on the planet, sorry guys but I found her first! We live just outside of Birmingham, AL with our 3 dogs. We are both adventurers and this year decided to ...
