I admit I used to play the game where I was focused on moving up the ladder at B/R, trying my best to be the top writer and all that. But now I no longer pimp my articles, or look for websites to artificially increase readership, and I'm satisified writing what I want and not some nonsence just to attract reads.
Yep, I spent about a year ranked #1 in MLB and the Cubs, and was ranked as high as #2 overall on the site at one time. These days, I am happy simply contributing to the site and allowing others to take the mantle.
I think I am still the Chicago Cubs community leader, and I know I am a featured columnist for the Cubs and Bears. I have written more than 500 articles, though I ca...

A lifetime Green Bay Packer Fan living in the land of the Giants (and Jets).

Though relatively new to blogging, writing has always been an interest. Currently, I am the Official Packer Fan voice at www.NFLtouchdown.com, a great site run by Andy Benoit, who has received many accolades for his NFL Draft guides.

4 - Seattle Lion Fan
Writer bio
My wife and I moved out here in 1989. We have adopted the Seattle Seahawks as our second most favorite team but have always remained faithful to the Lions. Not sure why but I can only paraphrase a quote from the great Sidney Lumet movie, 12 Angry Men:
You a Bear Fan?
No, Lions.
Lions? That's like getting hit in the head with a crowbar once a week.
And yet, I still hope for the best.
I was a major contributor to the now defunct (as of 03/13/2009) Fire Millen.com website where I was also known as Seattle Lion Fan. But since that joyus day in September of 2008, the site doesn't quite have the same meaning as it once did. Sad to say, firemillen.com will not be going under a name change but instead, the owner has decided to shut the site down.
I cut my writing chops on ...

I'm not a guy who has too much knowledge about any one sport and if I do it's football. I am a guy however who knows a little about every sport and I keep up enough to know "WHO" alot of the players are. I may not know much about their skills, but know enough to comment on them from time to time. Hopefully you will like what I have to say and I can continue to voice my opinion on matters that I feel need commented on.

I want to thank my parents for giving me the motivation to be my best at everything I do, my three brothers for being my best friends in the world, and my friends for being my biggest supporters.
