About myself... I love to write, and just about the only thing I cannot write about is myself. Someone once said that we only write about what we know, so I guess in a way I am always writing about myself. When it comes down to it though, I can't write much about me.
I am a sophomore journalism student at Illinois State University. Since 1995 I have enjoyed a torrid love affair with the team. That means two-thirds of my life to this point have been devoted to the Tribe and everything that encompasses. I am also a big Chelsea Football Club fan, but that is more of a recent obsession. However, like anything I truly like, I went in with both feet and if you read my writing I hope you would think that I know what I am talking about (of course that goes for any topic). Anthony Elias is here making the trek from FanNation (yes the same site SI.com uses for its blogging) to Bleacher Report in hopes of finding an audience appreciative of my works, and enthusiastic about my teams and sports just as much as I am. I love the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Philadelphia 76ers, and Oakland Raiders. However I only blog about PSU and the Phillies, because I live on the East Coast, therefore I don't get to watch the Raiders to blog about them, and I'll only write opinion blogs on the 76ers because games every night are too much to keep up with during school.
