Since joining Bleacher Report, I've really seen my style improve and develop. I'm hoping this will be the site that gets me recognized into journalism status like some of my fellow friends on this site. I've had two articles posted on Sports illustrated which, at this point is a great achievement for myself.

Writer bio
I am an avid sports fan as I watch anything that is sports related. I was introduced to mixed martial arts during the first season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2005. I was hooked immediately and it quickly became another passion of mine along with the NY Yankees. I graduated from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 2000 and combined my love of mixed martial arts along with my love of writing and started penning articles for Fightticker.com, I parlayed that into a role with one of the industry leading websites, Five Ounces of Pain. I currently write for MMA Opinion and The Examiner which allows me access to fighters, events and some behind the scenes information that I normally would not have access to.

I am a SoCal transplant living in the lovely Kansas plains. I have been an athlete for my entire life and my passion is sports. My favorites would have to be football and MMA but I also enjoy basketball, baseball, boxing, and well everything. My name is Mitch Ciccarelli and Mixed Martial Arts is my passion. I've been a martial artist for most of my life. I've studied Shaolin Kempo Karate for 10 years and in the summer of 2008 I began training in all aspects of MMA, focusing on Muay Thai.
In July of 2008 I discovered my passion for MMA writing. I became a member of an MMA forum and one of the members asked me if I would write articles for his website. I had found my calling in life.
I went on to discover Bleacher Report and from there my MMA opportunities have taken off. I am currently the co-community leader of the UFC section right here on Bleacher Report alongside Derek Bolender and I was recently added as a feature columnist for the MMA section on B/R as well.
My immediate MMA goals include interviewing the fight...

Currently begun work on a massive project called 31 Days, 31 Prospects. To begin next month, I'll feature 31 prospects, with seemingly unlimited potential, one each day exclusively on Bleacher Report. Both men and women will be featured, some are fairly big names already, others are tucked away in the shadows waiting for their call.
Update: I've decided to postpone 31 in 31 til January. The workload was just too much for the two week time frame I left myself. But rest assured I'm still going to be doing it.

Currently studying at Dublin Institute of Technology, I've been a huge MMA fan ever since 2007, when I watched Randy Couture defeat Gabriel Gonzaga for the UFC Heavyweight belt.
Not long after, I found out about PRIDE, which I didn't know was defunct at the time, and then started watching global MMA. With the collapse of PRIDE, we're left with some new promotions like DREAM, Sengoku and Strikeforce.
I enjoy betting on MMA and run a NEW blog at http://combathq.blogspot.com where I give MMA predictions and betting advice.
Hopefully I can write about MMA professionally for someone like MMAJunkie, ESPN, or Sherdog after some experience.

I'm a person who enjoys sports in general. As I go along you will notice that I have a bias against any team that isn't from Dallas, Texas, and I will come across as hating the teams in which I have a bias towards. In my world it makes sense, and if you have follow the Texas Rangers or Dallas Mavericks for any period of time you would understand. But I'm not here to talk about that. Hi! I'm Justin Faux, I follow Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Formula 1 and Australian Rules Football (AFL). To date I have only written MMA-related articles here on Bleacher Report; although I do contribute to a wide variety of MMA forums from which I've learned from the knowledge and opinions of others. You can count on my articles to deliver a highly educated point-of-view on breaking news and interesting-perspective stories.
Recently I have additionally interacted as a co-host with fellow Bleacher Report contributor, Shawn Smith delivering 'Tap or Snap Radio'. Unfortunately however this has been put on hold for the time being. You can still check out our previous shows at www.taporsnapradio.webs.com.
Basically I enjoy any stimulating conversation especially when it is in regards to th...

I'm big fan of baseball, MMA and basketball, in that order. Am an honours graduate of Cambrian College's Print Journalism Program, past sports columnist and reporter for my local daily newspaper and current newsletter editor.
I'm currently in somewhat of the P.R. field (compared to journalism, let me tell you, P.R. is where the money is) for my provincial government, so I'm writing on Bleacher Report to try and keep my journalistic insticts alive and well.

Sports have always been a love of mine. Football and Basketball were my two main sports growing up and I wanted more than anything to be on the recieving end of a Troy Aikman pass or to throw Michael Jordan an alley oop. Unfortunately both of these two great athletes retired when I got old enough to run out on the fields with them, so I decided to become a salesman.

I wrestled in high school and I really need to start putting in more time on my Jits since I train at a great gym with really good instructors. I currently go to MTSU majoring in business administration with a minor in marketing. I sincerely appreciate every read and comment.
