I'm currently a Communications major at the University of Akron with aspirations of being a writer or broadcaster.
My favorite sports are football and baseball. I'm a die hard Indians fan, but as you can tell that's pretty much the only Ohio team I like, that doesn't really make me popular around my area. Not that I had a shot at that to begin with.
I run a complete blog that covers everything Cleveland Indians. Check out the my website link on the side if you hate me or like the Indians. I waste a lot of time updating useful roster pages and photoshoping Indians players onto heads of Super Mario characters.
I also host a radio show every Thursday at 6:30 PM ET for Pigskinheaven.com. Its not big time but hey, it pays the bills. No not really, I do it for free and take a lot of...

My name is Ben, I'm a 20 year old rising sophomore at Saint Louis University. I am an avid Cardinals, Colts, and Tim Duncan fan. Yeah, that's right: Tim Duncan, the least entertaining, but still one of the best players in the league. You can contact me at bweixlmann@stlsportscenter.com
I just recently was named a Senior Writer, within one month of joining B/R, so I feel honored for that.

Well, hey there - I'm Scott Fowler - Though, uhm, right: you're here, you knew that much already. I'm a transplanted Canadian that has real passion for Baseball and Hockey, more notably, The Los Angeles Angels or Anaheim, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
That said, I'm also just a passionate baseball and hockey fan. I might wax nostalgic on here from time to time, but thats ok. . . . . right?
I'm also the new community leader for the (Los Angeles) Angels of Anaheim. I'm an OC Resident, and honestly will never really be able to call 'em the LA Angels. Just one of those things. If you have any questions or concerns, or comments, both derogatory and useful - - please let me know and drop me a line. :)

My name's Nick and I'm 18. I've just left school and am studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Durham university next year. But my real passion is sport, both playing and watching.
My favourite sport is probably football, I've been a fan of Manchester United for as long as I can remember. But, I also love rugby, particularly Northampton Saints and southern hemisphere rugby.
Since I saw Boston Red Sox in the summer of 1997 at Fenway Park, I have become a huge baseball fan and ultimately, want to watch a World Series game at Fenway Park, but living thousands of miles away makes it kinda hard.
I also love tennis, athletics, american football, cricket and golf (more for playing than watching). Basically I'm a sports enthusiast and keen to provoke and join debates on any spo...

I am just your average guy who works from 9-5. I have bills, I have school assignments, I have creditors after my money and I have student loans that seem never ending. I also happen to have some very biased opinions about sports... hence the reason that I am a Bleacher Reporter
I am in my third year of writing for The Daily Herald in Utah County. You can usually hear me on 1400 AM in Utah County on Thursday's from 4-6 p.m. I also work for the Utah Flash NBA Development League with the Director of Media Relations, writing the gamers and some press releases as directed. Being born and raised in Massachusetts, sports have always been an integral part of my life. For as long as I can remember I have been following the Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots. It's evolved to the point where I read and discuss sports for a significant portion of each day. Needing a good outlet, I began writing.
I write mostly about Football (real and fantasy), Baseball, and some Basketball. If you want to know more about me or to keep track of when I post an article here's my myspace:

Being a big Boston Red Sox fan in the middle of Pennsylvania can be a pretty lonely business. I know that many will argue this point, stating that there are tons of Red Sox fans everywhere since '04 and '07, but in my neck of the woods it's mostly darkness and crickets.
The three main avenues for my free time these days include reading, writing, and the Red Sox. I try to be as objective as possible in my writing, but I am what I am and will make no apologies for it.
Aside from the Sox, my other sports interests include Notre Dame Football, the Philadelphia Eagles & the NFL, the Phillies, and to a small extent, Penn State Football. You couldn't pay me enough to go to an NBA game and hockey, though I don't despise it like I do pro basketball, just doesn't hold my interest. G...

I first entered the broadcast industry at the age of 14 while I was a freshman at Thomas McKean High School. He started out as a Disc Jockey for the school’s radio station, 88.1 FM WMHS, and quickly rose to the top of the class. Not only confined to the DJ booth, I was also a news and sports anchor for the station, going out to record interviews at school events and with people involved with the 2004 elections.
During his senior year I hosted two shows every day, doing the morning and afternoon drive shifts. He also ran the board for the stations very first remote broadcast and for the first play-by-play broadcasts for McKean’s basketball and football games.
For a small part of my freshman year I was the Executive Producer for McKean’s morning television show, which was broadcast...

Living steps from Chase Field and sitting snugly in my seat down the left field line, I observe and comment on the ability of the Dbacks to do what they have always done best - give me grey hairs. From the no-name 98 season, the Todd Pratt walk offs of 99, the Curt Schilling deal of 2000 that brought us a championship in 2001, the failure of a better team in 2002, and the injured collapse of 2003, a "rebuilding" BabyBacks year of 2004, a sub-.500 second place season of 2005, and a new Byrnsie Era ushered in with 2006, the Phoenix re-birth of a franchise in 2007 under new colors and new players...here we are at 2008. The best pitching staff this team has ever seen along with hype through the roof at every position. This smells like the year.

Launched in September 2008, The Good Point.com seeks to combine the convenience of the internet with the content and authority of traditional journalistic feature writing. For a better grasp of what TheGP is, consider, first, what it is not. The Good Point.com is not and never will be (any time soon at least) the ultimate online source for up-to-the-minute sports updates or live scoring. Additionally it's not what one would call a blog either, simply because the overworked staff of writers, editors and web programmers see no merit in attempting to compete with the juggernaut websites that already do an excellent job presenting news as it happens.
One of the things this publication does seek to offer, however, is 100% exclusive content dealing with issues that relate to the sports wor...

I’ve been involved in sports from my youth, playing organized sports such as little league baseball, football, basketball, and track and field. Basketball became the main event during college, but as reality set in that I would not be the number one draft pick in the NBA, my dream culminated into refereeing and coaching the game in later years.
Even as I delved into my business career, keeping abreast of the professional and collegiate sports world continued to be my ardent pursuit. I also realized that I still retained my competitive zeal. This has been fulfilled on the golf course and tennis courts.
My interest in sports has grown to include analysis of the players and their arena. The sports world has evolved over the years, producing bigger and faster athletes, highe...

Born in the red clay of Oklahoma, I was destined to ultimately become a diehard Red Sox fan. I've lived in the northeast for the past 11 years, and TiVo just about every game. I suffered through the Carl Everett years, and the night of Aaron-f*ing-Boone, so I do not consider myself a bandwagon fan leeching off their recent glory. Take heart Yankee fans: I enjoy the rivalry but I don't have a vendetta against you. You are no longer the evil empire. He is an avid Brewers, Packers, 'Cuse, and Wisconsin fan, as well as an adopted Miami Heat fan because of a certain Dwyane Wade. Peter has covered sports at Syracuse as well as the Milwaukee Brewers. However, his interests range across sports and is willing to talk about anything he feels is relevant. He is extremely excited to be part of the b/r team

About myself... I love to write, and just about the only thing I cannot write about is myself. Someone once said that we only write about what we know, so I guess in a way I am always writing about myself. When it comes down to it though, I can't write much about me.
I am a sophomore journalism student at Illinois State University. Since 1995 I have enjoyed a torrid love affair with the team. That means two-thirds of my life to this point have been devoted to the Tribe and everything that encompasses. I am also a big Chelsea Football Club fan, but that is more of a recent obsession. However, like anything I truly like, I went in with both feet and if you read my writing I hope you would think that I know what I am talking about (of course that goes for any topic). I am a Cleveland Br...

Paul has written for the Scranton Times-Tribune and The Aquinas, the University of Scranton's school publication. A lifelong resident of the Philadelphia suburbs, Paul lives, breathes, and eats Philadelphia sports, even withstanding the stigma of being a Philly sports fan (Since 1983 and still counting). Outside of that, Paul has a keen interest in statistics of every kind, and has a sabermetric approach that makes old-school reporters wince.
You can listen to Paul's weekly sports radio show on University of Scranton radio, 99.5 FM and online at wusrfm.com, Monday mornings from 8-10 a.m. eastern.

I am a 23 year old law student and co-writer for the 2 year old "<ahref="http://detroit4lyfe.blogspot.com">detroit4lyfe.blogspot.com</a>" blog that I created with two of my best friends. It was originally an 'open' blog but it gradually developed into a sports blog because sports is predominantly what I think about. I am a die-hard Detroit fan, so naturally a greater number of my subjects will gravitate there.
I was born and raised in the suburbs just outside of Detroit. I played Division 1 baseball at Davidson College a small school outside of Charlotte in North Carolina where I majored in English and was the Vice-President of the Pre-Law Society.
Despite my love for writing, I am not positive how often I will be able to post because the oppo...

I'm a 19-year-old business administration major at Concordia University in Seward, NE. I grew up in St. Louis, MO and Sioux Falls, SD, where I call home. I began writing sports my junior year of high school for the Lincoln High School school newspaper, the Statesman. Currently I'm a sports writer and sports columnist for the student newspaper, The Sower, at CU.
I've been a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan and baseball is my passion. I also love college football and the NFL (who doesn't?) as well as the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Going to school 25 miles from Lincoln has made me intensely interested in Husker football, but I am not yet willing to call myself a Husker fan...I just don't feel qualified. I'm a huge Bill Simmons and Rick Reilly fan, as well as Derrick Goold of the...

Kevin McGuire is a long time Philadelphia sports fan. When it comes to teams he is a 4-for-4 guy with his Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers but his most passionate following is for college football and the Penn State Nittany Lions. In addition he is an avid fan of Shippensburg football and division two football. McGuire also enjoys college basketball and supports all teams from the Philadelphia area, with a slight favoritism towards Villanova when necessary.
McGuire enjoys writing about many topics on his home blog including many sports posts found here but also discussing politics, news, as well as sharing thoughts on movies, tv shows, and other random tidbits that come up in conversation or observation whenever something needs to be said.

Anthony Elias is here making the trek from FanNation (yes the same site SI.com uses for its blogging) to Bleacher Report in hopes of finding an audience appreciative of my works, and enthusiastic about my teams and sports just as much as I am. I love the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Philadelphia 76ers, and Oakland Raiders. However I only blog about PSU and the Phillies, because I live on the East Coast, therefore I don't get to watch the Raiders to blog about them, and I'll only write opinion blogs on the 76ers because games every night are too much to keep up with during school. But the Phillies during the summer, and PSU and on the weekends are always fair game for an almost daily blog! I look forward to reading tons of great blogs, and hope you look forwa...

Hey everyone, my name is Joel. I'm a 20 year old college student from Illinois. I'm majoring in History. Don't let that fool you because I'm a big time sports fan. I bleed red, blue and orange. You will see some bias in my articles because bias based opinions make reading articles more fun. It adds color :-)
Anyway, I'm a big time St. Louis Cardinals fan. I have been since I was five years old. I still remember the days when Ray Lankford was the most feared hitter on the team. My ultimate favorite day was July 31, 1997 when my favorite player of all time (Mark McGwire) was added via trade to the Cardinals. That was a great day. I also said I bleed blue and orange for the Univeristy of Illinois Fighting Illini. Great school and a great sports program.
I don't watch the NBA or NASCA...
