I am a sophomore at John F. Kennedy High School. I have played 3 sports in organized leagues. I played JV Football last season, I'm a quarterback. I played baseball in BCC from about age 10-13. I played basketball in the YES League in 2007. I enjoy watching sports, playing sports, writing about sports. My favorite team is the Baltimore Orioles. I also like the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Wizards. I despise the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals. Even though I hate the Yankees to death, I have some Yankee fan friends. My favorite players are Jeremy Guthrie, Troy Smith and Chris Paul. My favorite athlete of all time is Cal Ripken and possibly Jim Palmer. I'm 15 years old, probably the only one here at that age. I'm a sports junkie who travels about 140 days a year. I have been to all MLB, and NFL venues and am working on attending a game at each of the 141 minor league baseball parks that host a class high A team or above. I am about a third of the way through that "bucket" list.

Lifelong Washington Husky and Ohio State Buckeye fan. My office is decorated with memoribilia from both teams.

I grew up a Seattle Mariners fan. I was such a fan (and so single) that I used to go sit in the Kingdome night after night in a nearly empty stadium. A few times I sat in my brother's company's Press Box Level seats but mostly up in the rafters until it was obvious that certain seats behind home plate would not be taken. I sat in the 8th row, directly behind home plate for Randy Johnson's first No Hitter. I still have my ticket and the headline from the Seattle Times.

My Sonics have left Seattle, so I'm left with rooting for the Cleveland Cavs.

I'm also a sports car enthusiast and have a ton of memorabilia from that sport as well.

Being born and raised in Massachusetts, sports have always been an integral part of my life. For as long as I can remember I have been following the Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots. It's evolved to the point where I read and discuss sports for a significant portion of each day. Needing a good outlet, I began writing.
