  10. Clock Icon2:05 am

Classy Tony Romo Says Goodbye 😥

Tony Romo went from an undrafted Eastern Illinois product to starting for America's team during the 2006 season. After 11 seasons as a starter, he's the franchise leader in passing yards (34,183) and passing touchdowns (248).

The Cowboys have handled a delicate situation with Dak Prescott supplanting Romo as the starting quarterback in the best way possible. You hate to see a player lose his starting job due to injury, but it's business.

In 2017, we'll probably see Romo play for the Houston Texans or Denver Broncos.

Kirk Cousins Will Show Up to Work 👔

Cousins will sign his franchise-tagged deal worth approximately $24 million. However, it's hard to imagine his feelings toward the organization changing anytime soon.

He lost two wide receivers, DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon. Also, now ex-general manager Scot McCloughan wanted to sign Cousins to a long-term deal, per the team's official website. Washington has created a toxic environment.

  12. Clock Icon2:02 am

Thursday Was a Rough Day in Washington

For starters, quarterback Kirk Cousins no longer wants to play for the Washington Redskins. He requested a trade, and owner Dan Snyder denied him. Cousins hasn't signed the franchised-tagged deal.

Then, the organization fired general manager Scot McCloughan, and there's an unflattering backdrop story behind the firing.

What free agents would want to sign with the Redskins under all the uncertainties and discontent within the organization?

The Seahawks Attempt to Address Perpetual Problem

The Seattle Seahawks offensive line has been atrocious in the recent past. Fortunately, quarterback Russell Wilson has the ability to move around and throw on the run.

The Cleveland Browns made Kevin Zeitler the highest-paid guard in the league. Coming off a Pro Bowl season, guard T.J. Lang could sign a similar deal.

Peterson continues to wait for the right offer on the free-agent market. He's turning 32 on March 21 and coming off a shortened season due to injury, which drops his market value. However, the longtime Minnesota Viking is determined to prove his doubters wrong and produce at a high level in 2017.

    Browns QB Situation Looks Intriguing

Cleveland didn't really want Brock Osweiler. They valued the second-round draft pick. The former Houston Texans quarterback becomes a trade accessory. Robert Griffin sits on the chopping block. Mitchell Trubisky, Deshaun Watson and DeShone Kizer are all still in play for the draft.

Very Few Eddie Lacy Rumors This Offseason

When he's in shape, running back Eddie Lacy could eclipse 1,000 yards. He posted two 1,100-plus yard campaigns in his first two seasons, then struggled in the past two years with his weight and injuries. Lacy played 20 games with the Green Bay Packers between the 2015-16 seasons and only scored three rushing touchdowns in that span.

Mike Wallace Will Remain in Baltimore

In 2016, Wallace led all Ravens receivers with 72 receptions for 1,017 yards. Without Steve Smith Sr, who now works for NFL Network, the 30-year-old wideout will continue to serve as Joe Flacco's No. 1 option in the passing game.

We Have a Suspension During Free Agency

Baltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon accumulated 544 yards from scrimmage during the previous year. He would've been in the forefront as a potential starter in Septemeber. Baltimore may opt to draft a running back in a deep 2017 draft class.

  35. Clock Icon9:11 pm

Philadelphia Eagles Rent Alshon Jeffery for 1 Year

Jeffery will lead the Eagles' wide receiver corps for at least the 2017 season. It's basically a prove-it deal to see how he fits. Torrey Smith will also join the group. Jordan Matthews and Dorial Green-Beckham remain.

  36. Clock Icon9:05 pm

So, the Browns Really Wanted the 2nd-Round Pick?

Brock Osweiler didn't show much in his first year as a starter in Houston. However, it's a bit strange that the Browns won't at least give him a chance to start. Right now, Osweiler isn't much worse or better than the other options at quarterback, which include: Robert Griffin III, Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan.

Alshon Jeffery Would Immediate Be Wentz's No. 1

Th Philadelphia Eagles need a go-to receiver for Carson Wentz. Can Jeffery stay healthy in Philly? If so, he's going to eclipse 1,100 receiving yards and score at least 10 touchdowns.

Trade Talks During Free Agency 👀

The Dallas Cowboys will attempt to trade Tony Romo to the Denver Broncos or Houston Texans. The New York Jets have an interest in Trevor Siemian in a trade.

The Jets could go with Jay Cutler or Siemian. The Chicago Bears will release Cutler, making him a free agent. Siemian will come with a suitable deal.
