He also won this year's Kentucky Derby with Always Dreaming.

Winning time for Tapwrit: 2:30.02 over 1.5 miles.
That compares to Secretariat's record of 2:24 which still stands up from 44 years ago, in 1973.
That's the first-ever Triple Crown win for Tapwrit's jokey Jose Ortiz.
It was a two-horse race.
Tapwrit showed that he had the better endurance to complete the long 1.5 mile distance.
It's Irish War Cry to place and the one-eyed horse, Patch, to show.

This is the second straight year that we'll have three different winners in the Triple Crown races.
Always Dreaming won the Kentucky Derby, followed by Cloud Computing at the Preakness.
