"You cannot achieve success, without the risk of failing. And I learned a long time ago, you cannot achieve success if you fear failure. If you're not afraid to fail, man you have a chance to succeed, but you are never going to get there unless you risk it all the way. I was a failure and sometimes half the fun is failing. Learning from your mistakes, waking up the next morning and saying, ‘Okay, watch out. Here I come again. A little bit smarter, licking my wounds, and really not looking forward to getting my ass kicked like I did yesterday.’ So now...I'm a little more dangerous."

Im a life long Red Sox fan. Ive lived in the Boston area my whole life and Ive been going to Fenway since the mid 80s. I run the blog MassholeSports.com
I don't considered myself a writer but I get so caught up in Boston sports that I need a place to release some of these ideas and opinions that are running rampant in my head. So the blog is very therapeutic for me.
Most of my writing is opinion/editorial. Im not a journalist so Im not going to race to be the first one to post breaking news. But I will write about how badly certain players suck or I will write and give my sarcastic, humorous, twisted opinions on issues involving Boston sports teams and players.
Sincerely,
Neal

Born and raised a Yankee fan, Sam was raised during a dark period of Yankee history. Throughout Sam's childhood, the team would win just 95 games a year and make the playoffs routinely, but would simply never win the world series. He was also raised a Jets fan (that speaks for itself), and considers himself fortunate to be able to say he has a stronger arm than the former QB of the Jets (here's a hint, his name isn't Brett Favre). Though his unathleticism and pudgy build stopped him from playing the game, Sam simply co...

Born on November 2, 1985 on the island of the Dominican Republic, Randy grew up playing all kinds of sports with his two older brothers. His father, a former minor leaguer for the Detroit Tigers, instill a love of the game at an early age. Of course, Randy simply wanted to watch his cartoons when he was younger but soon grew to appreciate the complexities of the chess game known as baseball.
At the age of 3 years old, Randy and his family moved to the great state of Massachusetts where Red Sox nation awaited them. However, Randy's father spent his teenage years in New York and had become a Mets fan. Therefore, Red Sox lore was never instilled in young Randy. With the Atlanta Braves playing on TBS Randy felt more drawn to this team that seem to always win, get the clutch hits, and pit...

Born and raised in Nebraska, I am a die hard fan of Husker, football, baseball and basketball.
Given the fact that Nebraska has no professional teams in any sport, I chose all my favorite pro teams at an early age.
The most prominent of those choices was, and still is, the Boston Red Sox
I chose them due to the fact that their fans seemed to be as passionate about baseball as the fans here in Nebraska are about college football. After all, the passion of the fans is what keeps sports thriving.
I've been a Sox fan since the early 80's and have listened to nearly all their games since the start of XM radio. What a wonderful relief for a displaced Sox fan!
I joined the bleacher creatures at the request of a friend and have found it to be very enjoyable. My writing skills ...

What's Up?
I live in the great state of Washington, just east of my fair city Seattle. I love it here, and have no plans of leaving for too long. I'm 15, and am of the male species. (Shannon Sharpe is a boy, too!)
My favorite team: The Yankees. I am proud of my east coast heritage, although I hate the weather there and would never live there. I love the Yankees, and every player, except Nick Swisher, Johnny Damon, and now, Alfredo Aceves.
I want to be a sports broadcaster, so if you know someone who could help me with that, or are someone who could help, please, let me know!

New Jersey born and raised, and while I still follow some New York area teams, the Mets and Yankees are not among them. Been a Braves fan all my life, but adopted the Blue Jays as the 2nd favorite along the way. Jason Kidd made the Nets a team to watch again, and while there's a handful of teams I like in the NFL, there was something sweet about seeing Golden Boy Brady getting slammed to the turf by the Giants in Super Bowl XLII. Living in Texas, I don't hate the Cowboys, but being a Giants fan isn't exactly popular I'm well aware.
