"Ability May Get You To The Top, But It Takes Character To Keep You There."

Kelly's has a love of NASCAR that borders on obsession. Since July of 2001 she has been hooked on this fast paced sport and it only took 160 laps at the Daytona International Speedway and a Dale Earnhardt Jr. victory to seal her fate.

Since then she has made NASCAR a major part of her life and plans for that to continue as she earns her Bachelors Degree in Corporate Communications in hopes of becoming a journalist for the sport she loves so very much.

You can normally find her in front of the TV whenever there are cars on the track: practice, qualifying and racing. And if it's July you'll find her at the Daytona International Speedway, her home away from home, for the July Coke Zero 400, a tra...

Writer bio

I write mostly about NASCAR, but do venture to the other side of the bleachers on occasion, writing about the Carolina Panthers, USC Gamecocks, or what ever else I have an interest in.

While achieving status on B/R is basically a numbers game, and some play it very well, I choose quality over quantity.

Besides writing, I am also an accomplished photographer. I have taken pictures at most every race track in the south, as well as other locations around the world.

My pictures make regular appearances on B/R slide shows, in my articles, and at times, in other writers articles.

My bio picture changes from time to time.

A simple Nascar fan from Cali trying to bring a different writing style, as well as a different perspective to our sport! I am a 25+ year fan, and have written over 750 blogs on NASCAR alone, which most of them can be found at NASCAR.com under the screen name frevr3fan. I love Saturday nights at Irwindale Speedway, which I call my second home. I’ve met alot of drivers there, Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, David Gilliland, JJ Yeley, Jason Leffler, Ron Hornaday, Joey Logano just to name a few. I can be very opinionated at times, because of the high energy level that NASCAR brings out in its fans. I always try to write for the sport, without being biased towards any driver or team. Every driver deserves an equal chance, and what gives us fans the right to deny them that opportunity. I also lov...

Writer bio

I'm from a small town in central Pennsylvania named West Decatur, which is about 45 minutes west of Penn State University. That is where I got my Bachelor's Degree in Communication, where I specialized in writing and broadcasting. My main focus was on sports, as can be seen by my articles. I'm into football, mainly the Steelers and the Nittany Lions (obviously), basketball, baseball, and also some MMA fighting, but my real passion is motorsports.

Since I was five, I have been a fan of anything that had to do with motorsports. I am a huge fan of NASCAR. The first driver I cheered for was Davey Allison because of his exuberance and driving. He had so much ahead of him that it was tragic that it all ended so suddenly in 1993. Since then, I have jumped on the wagon of Jeff Gordon ...

I want a job in this business. I think I write pretty damn well, I'm knowledgeable, and other than basketball, I've pretty much got the big four (and NASCAR) covered. Are you listening, ESPN?

I get very frustrated when technology doesn't work properly, or the way it's designed to work. I apologize if it causes me to blow my top.

I believe that journalism can be an art form.

I'm generally not online much on the weekends - it's good to take a break from the computer screen and refocus on those who are close to you, and my studies in college. If you have anything urgent to get to me, my Gmail account (which can be accessed from my phone) is ...

7 - Jeffrey Boswell

Writer bio

Jeffrey Boswell remembers the good old days of football only on network tv, NASCAR only on the radio, and music on vinyl. Those days really sucked. Jeffrey's "NASCAR Top 10 Power Rankings" apears weekly at SpeedwayMedia.com and Sports-Central.org. His "NFL Weekly Predictions," featuring fictional quotes, has been a staple at Sports Central for five years.

Jeffrey lives in Burlington, NC with his wife, Marcia, and their two sons, Jos and Luc.

I'm a 23 year old from Fountain Hills, Arizona. I graduated from Northern Arizona University this past July and currently live in Scottsdale, AZ. I have loved sports my entire life and have been writing about them for various websites and blogs for the past few years.

I grew up mainly a basketball player but football has always been my favorite sport. I have been a diehard Washington Redskins fan since I was six years old and no team can match my enthusiasm for them. As far as the NBA goes, I am a Los Angeles Lakers fan all the way. I was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii.

When I was 10 years old, the Lakers were playing an exhibition game against the Nuggets at the University of Hawaii's stadium. A friend of mine had courtside tickets and before the game...

Jerry Marshall

11 - Jerry Marshall

Writer bio

Jerry is an avid NASACAR and NFL fan. He also enjoys baseball and college football. He saw his first NASCAR race at the tender age of 11 at the 1978 World 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway to see Darrell Waltrip get his first of 5 wins in that race.

Through the years NASCAR was not always the most important thing in his life but he has always enjoyed the sport. In 2001 when he heard of the death of Dale Sr at Daytona, he began his trip back to NASCAR fandom.

You can find him most weekends watching all the race coverage he can find the time to watch, playing fantasy NASCAR on Yahoo! and spending time with his family. In May he enjoys the All-Star and 600 races at Charlotte and the Bank of America 500 in October. His dream is to go to the Daytona 500 or one of the Bristol races.

Ed Berliner

Writer bio

Veteran sportscaster, ESPN, FOX Sports, CN8, ABC Radio and plenty more. Have been lucky enough to attend just about every championship game or series held in American sport. This also means meeting my share of athletes and those connected with athletics, thus allowing me to share their experiences and learn more about what makes them tick. Never really cared to be one of those reporters who can quote stats all day long, rather spend more time on issues and what happens under the surface.

Kyle Ocker

15 - Kyle Ocker

Writer bio

Kyle Ocker is a southeastern Iowa native that is just trying to get a start in the vast career of journalism, spending the majority of his time covering motorsports and keeping caught up in school.

Ocker began pursuing his dreams in the fall of 2007 when he opened his website, named NASCAR FanZone at the time, for business. As with any website launch, business was slow at first. However, by January 2008 he had made contacts with many in the NASCAR world. By January 2009, he hit another milestone of more then 1,000 unique visits per day, on average.

He is one of two featured writers at the NASCAR section of www.fanzonesports.net. On March 8, 2009, Ocker began writing for SpeedwayMedia.com.
