Writer bio
I'm a newly minted 2009 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, where I majored in history and political science. I also wrote and copy edited for our student newspaper, The Red & Black, the finest paper on the East Coast.
In the summer of 2008, I worked at ESPN 980 in Rockville, MD, doing sound editing as a productions department intern. I attended Washington Nationals games to obtain soundbytes for the following day's broadcasts.
I started as an editorial intern here in late July and ended in late October.
While I'm doing that, I am also going to be writing on a wide variety of issues, but mainly on the Washington Redskins and Washington Nationals because those are my hometown teams.
My work has been featured on CBSSports.com.

Welcome to Waylon's World. I'm Chad Waylon Pouncy. I am a 29 year old looking to get back into college and do something better than make pizza for a living. Writing about sports is something I have thought about since i was a kid so i figured I would make a serious run at it. As you can see, I have the writing part going, now comes the hard part, making money off it. In the meantime, you've got me here on Bleacher Report for free. You can find more of my writings and other random things at Poor Sport Report. Also, be sure to follow me on Twitter under waylons_world.

I gravitated towards the Internet as a teen, partially because Computers are conducive to a person like me, whom is legally disabled by nystagmus.
I seek to have a unique view of things. I'd rather do that than go with the pack. I realize that my opinions rile people from time to time, but the bottom line is, I pose questions and if those questions are invalid, then logically, the...

I'm a 26-year-old writer, currently freelancing for a couple different media outlets. While the stuff I write here is a bit offbeat and colorful, I do some serious work for the personal websites of Lakers Lamar Odom and Derek Fisher. Check them out at www.LamarOdom.com and www.DerekFisher2.com

A self-inflicted sports addict. I try to share my experiences through blogging about football, hockey, soccer and other sports on my own blog, www.sports-opinionated.com and Bleacher Report.
I grew up in Canada, so I love hockey but have come to be an NFL nut and to truly appreciate soccer, especially Serie A, Bundesliga and the EPL
