I've always loved sports, since I was a little kid. My favourite sports have changed over the years with the ones I played, but at this point I have settled on football and basketball (college basketball, mostly) as my favourite sports with hockey being a close third, and baseball bringing up the rear. I loved ABC's Wide World of Sports, and I love watching international sports shows, so soccer, rugby, open-wheel racing and boxing are some of my other favourite sports. I don't really play anything anymore, golf on occasion, some pickup basketball and baseball here and there, some road hockey (it is eternally embarassing how bad of an ice skater I am for a born-n-bred Canadian) and other stuff. I'm married with a baby girl, and I generally enjoy life, especially when the Oakland Raiders,...

The result of an older brother following the Raiders and a Father who follows the Broncos, Joseph Budd was tuned to the Raiders at a young age, starting with Ken Stabler's game against the Vikings in the 1976 season. Going through school, he was the subject of ridicule and resentment, especially after cheering for the Raiders through two more Super Bowl wins, and watched in horror when Bo Jackson's career was derailed.

Never giving up on his team, Joe went on to college, and took his hobby into business, opening a card shop, trading, and doing business both before and after the internet took off, selling cards and collectables.

After discovering that there was no physical way to collect every single card when your name is not Donald Trump, Joe decided to pursue the Raider cards. A...

Hey everyone. Nice to see you on my page.

I am obviously a huge sports fan and just as big a fan of writing about sports. I like to consider myself a sports encyclopedia, and here are some other things I believe:

- I know Jordan pushed off Russell, but then again, it was Jordan
- MLB players who test positive for performance-enhancing drugs should be suspended one full season for their first offense
- I prefer GoodFellas over The Godfather
- Curling is not a sport
- Tony Romo will never get to the Super Bowl, let alone win it
- Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time
- Barry Sanders is the best running back in NFL history

I would call myself a serious die-hard-Raider-fan and a mild fair weathered Golden State Warrior, San Jose Shark, Oakland A's and SanFrancisco Giant fan. I have been to a few 49er games as well but I would not call myself a fan. In the past I have been known to jump on the Sacramento King bandwagon come post season but as of late with neither the Kings or Warriors making the playoffs I'm limited to rooting against the lakers.

I mainly write opinionated and/or speculative articles, Mainly about the Raiders but I will ocassionally write about other teams.

Though I don't always agree with him I will defend Al Davis, especially from uninformed "trolls" who really have no idea what they are talking about.

Opinions are like assholes everyone has em, and I have alot....Opi...

New Knick: Darko Milicic and Serbians Played On Even as the Bombs Fell
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/214962-as-the-bombs-fell-serbians-like-darko-milicic-played-on

I gravitated towards the Internet as a teen, partially because Computers are conducive to a person like me, whom is legally disabled by nystagmus.

I seek to have a unique view of things. I'd rather do that than go with the pack. I realize that my opinions rile people from time to time, but the bottom line is, I pose questions and if those questions are invalid, then logically, the...

Jeffrey Boswell remembers the good old days of football only on network tv, NASCAR only on the radio, and music on vinyl. Those days really sucked. Jeffrey's "NASCAR Top 10 Power Rankings" apears weekly at SpeedwayMedia.com and Sports-Central.org. His "NFL Weekly Predictions," featuring fictional quotes, has been a staple at Sports Central for five years.

Jeffrey lives in Burlington, NC with his wife, Marcia, and their two sons, Jos and Luc.

Born and raised on the East Coast. Criminal Justice major, and Army Staff Sergeant currently in Iraq. I enjoy writing about my favorite sports team, the Oakland Raiders.

Some of my favorite Raiders played in Oakland for a year or two, others played there for years. My favorite Raiders include:

Tim Brown
Nnamdi Asomugha
Sebastian Janikowski
Jack Tatum
Daryle Lamonica
Ken Stabler
Daunte Culpepper (He should still be a Raider!)
Rich Gannon
Michael Bush

Growing up not too far from Baltimore (less than an hour north in PA) I was a big Cal Ripken fan. I don't root for the Orioles anymore, but combining skill, dedication, talent, popularity, and off-field contributions, he's the best to ever play baseball in my opinion.

Not a professional writer but I love to do it. Fe...

I currently live in Kansas City, but am a big Cincinnati Bengals fan. Most of my articles will be about the Cincinnati Bengals, but I might toss a few Kansas City Chiefs articles out there.
