I'm currently a freelance MMA writer living in Ontario, Canada.

I've always been interested in combat sports, and the incredible athletes that compete in them. I believe in MMA, and want to share my knowledge and enjoyment with the world. I am a dedicated MMA analyst, and enjoy breaking down the technical details of MMA bouts, while providing further insight into the many intricacies of the sport.

I've trained in martial arts, and am currently training in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

What is SuckFist!?

Well first off, it's a word that's hard to put a question mark after. I guess I didn't think this whole "mandatory exclamation point" thing through.

But more then that, it's an MMA Blog and Community where the latest in MMA news, rumor, and opinion is debated and discussed by yours truly and a team of dedicated MMA writers. We'll make you think, we'll make you laugh, we'll make you weep like a new bride before falling to your knees and thanking God for giving you eyes and an internet connection, so you could discover SuckFist! and finally consider your life complete.

Alright, so that's not gonna happen. But if your a fan of the UFC and MMA in general, check us out, read up on our thoughts and opinions and then offer your own.

My name is Mitch Ciccarelli and Mixed Martial Arts is my passion. I've been a martial artist for most of my life. I've studied Shaolin Kempo Karate for 10 years and in the summer of 2008 I began training in all aspects of MMA, focusing on Muay Thai.

In July of 2008 I discovered my passion for MMA writing. I became a member of an MMA forum and one of the members asked me if I would write articles for his website. I had found my calling in life.

I went on to discover Bleacher Report and from there my MMA opportunities have taken off. I am currently the co-community leader of the UFC section right here on Bleacher Report alongside Derek Bolender and I was recently added as a feature columnist for the MMA section on B/R as well.
