Choose Football. Choose a team. Choose a vocation. Choose a family. Choose a stadium, choose bad catering, no leg room, whingeing glory seekers and cynical die-hards. Choose wing wizardry, midfield dynamos, and twenty a season strikers. Choose fixed interest season ticket repayments. Choose your seat. Choose your friends. Choose over-priced replica kits and matching accessories. Choose a reserve team striker on loan from a range of bigger clubs. Choose going out on the lash after the game and wondering who the hell you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing grand slam Sundays, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Massive F1 and WRC fan studying History at Southampton University. I would say I am a Brawn GP fanatic! But I also like Renault and Ferrari, Toyota were my favourite WRC team, then Subaru, now well I guess it's out of Ford and Citroen!? (Ford win it as I passed my test in a Focus, and Mikko is my favourite driver). I also love Tennis, Rafael Nadal and Ana Ivanovic are my favourite players. Raffa, because he is probably the nicest guy in the world...and Ana because she is probably the best looking sportswoman! (but she is also really nice and a great player). On May 16, 2009, I took a walk on to a stage and was given a green degree case (still waiting for the actual piece of paper in the mail, by the way) that signified the end of a five-year journey. I am from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and I run a sports blog at overtim.blogspot.com
I played hockey since I was 5 years old both as a player and a goalie. First as a goalie for my first 5 or 6 years, then as a player for 4 years to finally go back to good old goaltending since.
Goaltending is my forte as I am currently (secretly) training for next season.
I am not talking about NHL here right off the bat, just relax hehehe...
But am sure will be looking for a pro training camp come next june/july/august. I am browsing different european leagues and north american leagues right now.
A coaching position is of course kept for later, once my physical abilities as a player will be obsolete. I am 34 years old and if Hasek can do it at 42-43ish I damn sure can for as long as h...

Until someone wins seven, the Steelers are tops...
I'm a long-time Steelers fan, hailing back to the glory days of the 70's when I was barely big enough to hold a football without falling over. I also live in Nashville and root for the Titans but do not confuse my loyalties: I will wear Steelers gear to a Titans-Steelers home game, sit in a seat next to my brother, scream incessantly for Pittsburgh, and won't care who says what about it.
I have grown weary of reading the "professional" reporter's articles which in my mind consistently fail to give the Steelers their due (Pete Prisco comes to mind). I have therefore decided to ensure that the GOOD in the Steelers is given equal treatment, and have become a contributor to the scene.
As a Nashville native, I also provi...

College football is a great way to pass time and I love the drama. With that in mind, I try to keep it all in perspective. I love to listen to Rivals Radio (Bill King), only read the paper for sports and absolutely love the Crimson Tide.

Hi!
I'm Barney Corkhill, the Liverpool Community Leader for Bleacher Report! Obviously that means I'm a Liverpool fan and I look forward to celebrating the league title finally coming home this season! Other than football, I like playing and watching rugby, cricket, tennis and any other sports really!
In terms of music, The Beatles are by far the greatest band of all time (fact), and it just so happens that they come from the greatest city of all time as well (fact)! I play drums and can play a lot of the Beatles songs on the piano! Anyway, this is a sports site not a music site so I'll stop there! My favourite film is Green Street - It was good enough to almost turn me into a West Ham fan for an hour and it certainly had "I'm forever blowing bubbles" in my head rather ...

A simple Nascar fan from Cali trying to bring a different writing style, as well as a different perspective to our sport! I am a 25+ year fan, and have written over 750 blogs on NASCAR alone, which most of them can be found at NASCAR.com under the screen name frevr3fan. I love Saturday nights at Irwindale Speedway, which I call my second home. I’ve met alot of drivers there, Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, David Gilliland, JJ Yeley, Jason Leffler, Ron Hornaday, Joey Logano just to name a few. I can be very opinionated at times, because of the high energy level that NASCAR brings out in its fans. I always try to write for the sport, without being biased towards any driver or team. Every driver deserves an equal chance, and what gives us fans the right to deny them that opportunity. I also lov...

My name is Bryan Waters. It was clear to me that by high school, I hadn't received much fruit from the tree of athletic ability. Thankfully, my Dad taught me the maxim, "The pen is mightier than the sword." So I threw down the baseball bat and picked up a writing utensil.
I turned to writing for the school newspaper and yearbook, mostly covering sports at the then-biggest high school in the United States.
Now, 28 years after walking the plank of my high school graduation, I've returned to a first love: Sports writing.
OU Sooner faithful, don't hold it against me that I graduated from the University of Texas. Hey, in an English class at UT, I was taught that the word "out" contains both "ou" and "ut" and "ou" always comes first!
