4 - The Roundtable

Writer bio

Come on in! Grab a seat. Need a beer? That's what the Roundtable is about.

The name comes from our college hangout. There was one bar that knew us by name, always had an open table, and became the location of some great debates. Sure, some of them may have been about what song needed to be played on the jukebox, but the point remains. And it has really stuck. The Roundtable is where your friends gather to go over all sorts of topics. And the table always has an open seat.

You'll mainly see fantasy sports writing, concentrating on baseball and football. But there will be more than a few pieces on other topics that strike points of interest.

The Roundtable has a blog located at http://elmhurstpub.blogspot.com/

Thanks for checking us out, and be sure to tip your waitress.

5 - Michael Whooley

Writer bio

Michael Whooley lives in the happiest place on Earth. No,not Disneyland; rather that beautiful city known as San Bruno in the wondrous state of California. A graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island, Michael has also done his time on the East Coast and has come to the conclusion that the West Coast truly is the Best Coast. Seriously, who needs snow? Michael emerged from his mother's womb decked in the red and gold of his beloved San Francisco 49ers. Growing up in the Bay Area in the late 80s and early 90s, Michael was spoiled and got to enjoy some of the best football any team has ever played (not just opinion, but a fact as solid as the fact that the male seahorse has the babies - look it up!) Trips to Candlestick Park to see the 49ers with his grandma were frequent occurrences. ...

Writer bio

I'm currently a Division 1 junior soccer player at Eastern Illinois University which is in the Missouri Valley Conference. I'm just guy who just can't stand arguments that just don't have facts to back them up. Articles without facts have motivated me to get the truth out there.

10 - Junkyard Jake

Writer bio

Leveraging off the huge Polka music craze of the late 1990's, Junkyardjake.com first hit the web in 1998 as one of the first sites completely devoted to fans of Austrian folk dancing and accordion maintenance.

After realizing that there never really was such a thing as a 'Polka Music Craze', we made the abrupt switch to fantasy sports, primarily focusing on football, and adding baseball in 2004. To keep up the dynamic fantasy sports market, our site has future plans for adding content that covers fantasy sausage racing, and fantasy hippie slapping, two areas of simulated sports that have seen surging popularity in recent years.

I'm studying journalism at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Looking forward to the college basketball season just to see our Golden Eagles beat the Wisconsin Badgers in the Bradley Center this year. Sorry, Madison.

That's not me in my profile picture. It's Robin Yount, the greatest Milwaukee Brewer in the history of the franchise. Ryan Braun's coming for him, though.

People ask me what I thought about the Brett Favre trade. I'm just happy he doesn't play for the Vikings.

Aaron Rodgers will be the best quarterback in the NFC North this year. It's kinda like saying Ohio State will be the best football team in the Big 10 this year. They win by default. Tavaris Jackson? Kyle Orton? Jon Kitna? Northwestern?

I live in Wisconsin. My girlfriend lives in Phoenix and...

My dream job would be GM of the Seattle SuperSonics. Now my dream is dead. So I will have to get Mark Cuban money, buy a team ( I don't care who) and move them back. Then I could be the Jerry Jones of the NBA. If I can't be the Sonics GM, then how about the Seahawks GM? If you couldn't tell by now I'm a Seattle sports fan who is passionate about the NBA and NFL, and I enjoy NCAAFB then NCAABB. After that I would call myself a tennis fan, then maybe a tie between baseball and boxing. Along with Seattle Sports I like the Nebraska Cornhuskers. I would like to go to the NBA All-Star weekend and Wimbledon. I like HS sports too.

Writer bio

My name is Travis Rand and I am currently a Senior attending Portland High School. I have lived in Maine for most of my life but my sports background comes from New York, the state I was born in. Writer bio

I am a Canadian living in Winnipeg, Manitoba and going to school to become a lawyer.

Sports are my hobby, and in particular, fantasy sports tend to take up a good portion of my time. My most preferred sport is football, including within the fantasy realm, but I don't limit myself to just that. I participate in several other fantasy sports, such as baseball, hockey and basketball, and in all formats -- from head-to-head leagues, to rotisseries, to leagues with keepers and leagues that are dynasties.

Writer bio

Being born and raised in Massachusetts, sports have always been an integral part of my life. For as long as I can remember I have been following the Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots. It's evolved to the point where I read and discuss sports for a significant portion of each day. Needing a good outlet, I began writing.

I write mostly about Football (real and fantasy), Baseball, and some Basketball. If you want to know more about me or to keep track of when I post an article here's my myspace:

I'm a student from the University of Winnipeg, which is located in Manitoba, Canada for all those that don't know where it is located. I'm in my first year, and I'm planning to double major in Kinesiology and Recreational Management and Education. I've been in love with sports for as long as I could walk. I currently have a big man crush on Steve Slaton. This is my third year playing fantasy football, however first year that I've actually decided to go in-depth with in. This is my second year playing fantasy basketball though, I specialize in H2H. I hope to be writing lots of articles about my personal experience with fantasy games as well as sports in general! Thanks for taking a look!
