I am an old school Alabama fan. I live, eat, and sleep college football. I played the game, so I know a little about the sacrifices these kids have to make. I have been involved with Alabama football since Bear Bryant's glory days. I have witnessed Alabama winning 7 National Championships..
When I die I plan to have my ashes spread over Bryant-Denny stadium. I only ask that I live long enough to see Alabama win another national championship. It's beginning to look like my days are numbered!

I love college sports. Need I say more?
Ok well I will. I am a Oregon Duck fan first and foremost. I am not a conference cheerleader but I will defend the Pac 10 when people down talk it without reason. I love college football. I read a handful of preseason magazines every summer. I have 5 tv's in my living room through football season so that I don't miss very much. I like to travel around to the differnent college stadiums as well, no matter who is playing. I have been to 9 college stadiums in the last 5 years.
I also like college basketball, but not to the extent of football. I do my best to follow lacrosse, track, baseball, softball, cross country, gymnastics and as many other college sports as I can.
If it seems like it has been a while since I have written anythin...

I'm Alex, I'm from London, and I have a job as a journalist. About insurance. If there's anything that can drive the person truly mad, it's years of writing about insurance. Trust me. I know.
But my biggest love is sports. In the UK I love my soccer teams, but I have my big American passions: baseball and football. Sure, I can deal with the odd NBA game and March Madness, as well as a bit of the NFL, but give me Ken Griffey's swing and a Penn State White Out any day of the week.
So here I am. I have a blog - http://viewfromnorthamerica.blogspot.com that I hope you'll look at at some point. And I love writing.

A sportswriter is neither a homer nor a fan. Instead, a sportswriter is a fan of the game, a fan of the sport he or she is covering. Though we might have favorite teams that we root for, when it comes to reporting, we call them as we see them.
We heap praise or lay blame whenever or wherever we feel it is justified. Even our favorite team’s most hated adversary can receive our profound admiration. And our team’s most beloved player or coach can be the subject of our admonition.
I am a sportswriter. It’s as plain and simple as that. I have no problem calling out the players and coaches that I admire when I feel their actions warrant it. But the game itself remains beyond reproach.
In addition to sportswriting, I have been a screenwriter, a media writer and an educator. A...

Your basic guy who loves college sports.
Did the faceless, corporate management thing for too long.
Business owner long enough to see good times and rough times.
Through it all college sports have and continue to be my passion. My days of being a Pac-10 fan actually date back to the Pac-8. Those were the days when Jim Plunkett was throwing bombs to Randy Vataha and Ahmad Rashad was a running back at Oregon by the name of Bobby Moore.

I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and fell in love with the Wolverines. I'm a student at Wright State University studying business, but have always had a passion for writing about sports. I love to write about College Football and Baseball. I am not your ordinary Michigan Wolverines fan. I follow any of the sports that they play in not just football like those disgusting band-wagon fans. I will write alot about recruiting because finding out the Wolverines just got a 4 or 5 star recruit excites me but will also break down parts of the Michigan team that have been playing well or poorly. I leave the game recaps up to other writers unless I attend the game because its hard to tell much from the game if you are only seeing half of the play. I'm the community leader for Michigan...

I'm 22 and a History major from the University of Washington. It is about as cliche as it gets, but I bleed purple and gold, especially when it comes to football.
My biggest area of concern on Bleacher Report is Pac-10 football, and getting it the respect it deserves. The SEC is only the best conference in the country because they know how to market themselves well and put their name up front.
I write a column published here on Bleacher Report called "Husky Trails," as an in depth look at Washington football. Just look for the title in the Washington, Pac-10, or College Football sections.
You can also catch my stuff at http://huskytrails.blogspot.com

I am a lifelong sports fan. Football is my passion. I am originally from Michigan but have lived in Hawaii for 10 years. My teams are all the Detroit teams, especially the Red Wings. I have a unique rooting interest in college football. I like Notre Dame and Michigan equally. You may wonder how is that possible? Well I am from Michigan and I am Irish. So yes, the most conflicted week in my life is usually the second or third week in September. It is always a chore figuring out who to root for. I love seeing Michigan and Notre Dame players succeed in the NFL. My two favorite Quarterbacks are both named Brady. One is in Cleveland and one is in New England. If either got traded I would stop caring for that team and root for the team they went to. I am also a fan of the Hawaii Warriors foot...

Peyton Manning is physically more talented than Tom Brady, but Brady plays better in the playoffs. So lets end this debate on B/R now. I would just love to hear what Pats fans say if Manning retires with just as many rings as Brady.
Not a Laker fan but would love to Kobe win another Championship so his haters would shut up.
How the hell did Steve Nash get two MVP and Kobe and Shaq only have one each?
Favorite team is Atlanta Braves but one of my greatest sports memories is when the Red Soxs came back from the 0-3 whole in the 2004 ALCS. I've always hated the Yanks.
I hate delusional fans who think their team can win it all despite the obvious. Example: LSU preseason football talk 2008 - 2009.

I live in the extreme south-west corner of Alabama closer to Pascagoula Mississippi than Mobile, Alabama. I will be attending the University of New Orleans starting fall 2009 to major in Peroleum Geology, however my favorite sports team will always be the Alabama Crimsontide, whether it be football, baseball, baskettball or whatever. Writing sports articles have become a hobby of mine, after I wrote the majority of the sports section for our school yearbook my sophomore year. I have been on the bleacher report for almost a year now and really enjoy it.

Hi everybody. I recently graduated from the University of Virginia and have been writing sports articles for the past 3 years. Whether it's the Cavalier Daily, thesabre.com, The Fanatic Magazine or www.laxnews.com, I've been around the block. Obviously I bleed orange and blue but I love almost all sports including golf. I recently got the opportunity to become Virginia football community leader so feel free to contact me if you have any ideas. Better yet, write your own Virginia articles and let your voice be heard!

I'm Irish, but I'm not a leprechaun. I have trouble differntiating between day and night, so don't even try to ask me what the date or the day of the week is. The response will be a blank expression. I eat emo kids for breakfast and goth kids for lunch. They give me indigestion, but I have Tums for that. I hate Mizzou. I mean, I really HATE Mizzou. It is to the point now, that I hate the entire state except for KCMO and STL. I won't even fill up my Jeep between KCMO and STL. I played Halo2 for the first time in my life and realized that I have no future in professional gaming. Life is too short to be mad, so usually I just drink beer. Most people call me short...I ignore them. I'm a soldier. I have 5 sets of clothes and they all look the same. Blue water sucks, but black wat...

Hello. My name is Doug, I'm a retired Police Detective and I love certain sports. I played (organized and school) baseball and football through HS and JC. I love watching certain NBA teams, especially the Lakers. I fell in love with USC football in the 10Th grade. I can't give you a specific reason how it happened, but it sure did. Now, I've infected my wife and eldest son with that same love.
I enjoy writing and following the aforementioned sports. Now that I'm retired, I get to spend as much time as I want, at anything I want. I spent an active work life, without much time to spend on my personal enjoyments. While with the Department, I worked as a body guard to Hollywood celebrities and within the movie industry. The aforementioned caused me to work many of my days...

This is the fresh page of Heath Mcguff, I love to write and probably the biggest Alabama fan on B/R.
I enjoy nothing more than sitting in the cool air conditioning on Saturday afternoons and watching the Crimson Tide play.
I have followed the Tide and been a fan since I was knee high to a grass hopper. I just love college football period.
I also enjoy to watch the NBA, my favorite teams are the Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls. Although my true love is always going to be football!
I'm currently a sophomore in high school and can't wait to graduate, high school takes up an extreme part of my time to write for B/R as does football.
I would love one day to be a sports analyst or be in some sort of college football journalism, but hey that's just a wild dream of mine.

I am a huge NHL fan trapped in Cleveland, Ohio. I follow the Sabres (I was born in Buffalo) as best I can thanks to NHL Center Ice and consider myself a pretty knowledgable hockey fan. I love the game and enjoy watching certain players as much as I enjoy watching the Sabres. Ovechkin, Crosby, Malkin, Phaneuf, Gaborik and my all-time favorite: Peter Forsberg.
I'm also a Buffalo Bills fan (let's not talk about that, shall we?) and a Michigan Wolverines fan.
Speaking of the latter, everyone on this site seems to have a problem with the program and fans in general. No, I do not believe Rich Rodriguez is an angel, however I do not care about his transgressions. It's the life of a collegiate coach; get ahead however you can. Just ask Nick Saban and Bobby Petrino.
So you angr...

All about Ohio, mostly Cleveland, born and raised. Blue collar fan, and I have alot of passion for the game. Some think I know "too much" about sports. What else...well I'm now a junior at The Ohio State University, Journalism major. Big follower of sports, especially football and basketball. Big supporter of my local teams, and I'm still waiting for a Cleveland title...PS: If you're a troll don't waste your time and my time. And if you are, I recommend that you get a life. For your sake and everyone's sake.
I find importance in fact-checking and pointing out the important stats. I try to shoot for honesty and as much unbiased analysis and opinion as I can muster. And I do believe in civility in debates. I am also open to multi-writer compilation.

I recently graduated from The University of Oregon and I am an avid sports fan. College football and the Oregon Ducks are by far my first love but the Trailblazers are becoming a close second. I received my college degree in Broadcast Journalism and I am looking for a job in that field or anything related to sports. I hope that my insight and opinions can further shape others views on the world of the Portland Trailblazers and the Oregon Ducks!

Avid sports fan. Love football more than life itself. Grew up watching and rooting for the Dolphins, Celtics, and Braves. What better athletes and heroes to follow than Marino, Bird and the Murph ??
I want to thank the people at Bleacher Report for having a forum to share our thoughts on, and the wonderful people at CBS.Sports, FOX Sports and Scout.com, for posting some of my work on their sites. Thanks to anyone else who may have taken the time to read any of my articles.
