From New York City, I am a huge fan of the Yankees and a loyal but frustrated fan of the Manhattan College Jaspers. Baseball and college basketball are my favorite sports to watch and will be the main subjects of my writing. Other than sports, music is a passion of mine. My band's myspace page was updated in June with three fresh recordings, which can be heard at www.myspace.com/thesunnysideup .
Finally a high school senior, I will become very busy very soon, but I hope to continue participating in the Bleacher Report community as long as I can find the time to.
I am a Featured Columnist and the Community Leader for the MAAC here on Bleacher Report, so if you want to join or write something, feel free to contact me.

Writer bio
I'm a HUGE fan of ACC Basketball. I follow it closely, and I'm consistently amazed at the talent and level of play that has made it the standard conference in college basketball.
I'll be the first to admit that Duke is the team I root for. It's been that way since I was a 7th grader trying to become a Steve Wojciechowski clone (he's the player I identified with most as a kid), and that will never change.
I'm not saying that I don't approach things objectively...I try to be as objective as possible...but I think it's a good thing for a sports writer to come right out and admit which team he or she favors, instead of pretending like he or she doesn't care who wins (everyone is a fan of someone).
Writing for Bleacher Report has been an absolute pleasure. I have been able to cov...

Mother Watson is much better; when that's the case, you better believe that her son is doing pretty well, too.
The outpouring of love, support and sympathy for myself, my mother, my wife and the rest of my family has been most touching. I don't have the words to truly express how I feel, so I will just offer up a deep, heartfelt "Thank you" for the bulletin board notes, e-mails and Private Messages. I have literally been encouraged by people from all over the globe -- 5 different continents -- and from all walks of life.
I would like to think that Bleacher Report is a special place that draws exceptional people together!

Sports and travel have long been my two passions. When I stumbled upon Bleacher Report in March 2009, I did not have a real interest in writing, but I have steadily enjoyed learning to like writing. More importantly, I love to explore interesting topics and engage in healthy debate with my fellow sports fans.
Since joining Bleacher Report in March 2009, I have been inspired to chase my dreams. My goal is to develop a sports site that provides information to travelers who are looking for how to make the most of their next sporting event.
Please take a look when you have a chance, and feel free to send any suggestions you may have. I would also love to have you join as a Face Book fan so you can receive updates about our progress.

My name is Brandon. I currently live in Lawrence, Kansas. I grew up in Iowa and later moved to Kansas, where I finished high school, and graduated from the University of Kansas. I majored in Political Science and History which helped me a job on the legislative staff of a prominent member of the U.S. Senate. I am a huge sports fan, hailing from Iowa, I did not have local teams to root for, and my family was a Minnesota sports family, so I have forever been a Twins and Vikings fan.
Aside from being a huge Twins and Vikings fanatic, I am a fan of all sports. With Kansas as my alma mater, college basketball is a huge part of my life, but I love KU football as well. The 2008 season for Kansas Football and Basketball, where an Orange Bowl and National Championship were won probably ranks...

I am a sophomore at Marquette University majoring in Journalism. I am part of a team that does a radio show Monday Mornings from 8am-10am on MUR. I went to every Marquette Golden Eagles home game this year and consider myself a die-hard fan to three teams: the aforementioned Marquette Warriors, the Green Bay Packers, and the Milwaukee Brewers.
I want to thank my parents for giving me the motivation to be my best at everything I do, my three brothers for being my best friends in the world, and my friends for being my biggest supporters. To all who edit my articles and leave feedback, thank you very much. I realize I do not contact them as I should, but I appreciate every edit a lot.

I love the opportunities Bleacher Report brings me, and I love representing one of the greatest colleges in the United States of America even more. I have been a Jayhawk as long as I can remember and will always be a Jayhawk no matter what.
Pardon the cliche, but nothing would please me more than getting paid to watch sports. I would also like to be a missionary at some point, and maybe teach or coach a subject or sport at a grade-school level.
Outside of sports, I love my family, eating (chicken, pasta, and chocolate), God, cartoons, and a wonderful blond-haired nursing major by the name of Heather.

Please don't follow me anywhere-I hate being followed. Don't email me either-I have my cat go through the messages first and she doesn't read that fast.
I live in Florida, but I am from New Jersey. However, my teams of interests span the globe.
Except for baseball, I lean towards the college side of the major sports.
What I would love to do on B/R is to write at least one article about evey college basketball team in Division I. My ego tells me I am the most knowledgeable college basketball fan out there that doesn't have a gig.

Hi everybody. I recently graduated from the University of Virginia and have been writing sports articles since 2005. Whether it's the Cavalier Daily, thesabre.com, The Fanatic Magazine or www.laxnews.com, I've been around the block. Obviously I bleed orange and blue but I love almost all sports including golf. I recently got the opportunity to become Virginia football community leader so feel free to contact me if you have any ideas. Better yet, write your own Virginia articles and let your voice be heard!

One day, I intend to either be in a front office making personnel decisions, or be part of the media analyzing said decisions.
Currently, I am attending Middle Tennessee State University. Despite that, I grew up in the shadow of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and still consider myself a Boilermaker at heart. It's for that reason that I'm now a B/R Featured Columnist for Purdue basketball.

I am a passionate sports fan born and raised in Philadeldelphia. My first real sports memory is the night in march of 1985 when Villanova upset Georgetown to win the NCAA tournament. My father is a sports fanatic himself as well as a Villanova alumni and my love for Villanova basketball was cemented for life that night by his joy and enthusiasm. We still attend men's basketball games together to this day over 20 years later. I was a season ticket holder for the Eagles in the 700 level at the Vet, even through some of the roughest Ty Detmer & Rodney Pete years. The 1993 Phillies team was the first time I can remember the excitement of having my team one series away from a title; and the first time I experienced the cruelty of losing that battle. It came again when the Flyers were...

I have been a die hard Houston Rockets, New york Giants, Houston Astros, and Yankees Fan my whole life. No I am not a UNC basketball nor a Florida football fan, unlike most I am not a bandwagon fan.
I have lived in Houston for 20 years and been about Houston sports my whole life, but when I started really getting into football we didn't have a team and I already had rooted for the Giants since my Dad is from upstate New York and he passed on the Giants (and Yankees, but I will always love the 'Stros more) legacy to me.
Thanks to Bleacher Report I have been given several opportunities to make my opinions heard on other websites, including www.blogNYG.com and in the fall I will be one of the Houston Rockets writers for a new website launching this fall called Fan Huddle.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan, I grew up a fierce Detroit and Michigan State sports fan. Part of this was induced because of my environment (my family supported those teams), but I always tended to be little more geared up for a game, more elated in victory, and more devastated in defeat. And because I often rooted for losing teams (Football in particular), I was able to develop a fairly unbiased eye in evaluating them. It doesn't make you any less of a fan if you're able to admit that your team needs to work on some things, that it's not always the refs, that the other team didn't play dirty, that sport is just sport after all. This doesn't make you less passionate, only more reasonable. My life and work have taken me far away from Michigan over the years, and though I'...

I'm a recent graduate of Virginia Tech where I majored in Communication with a minor in English. I was a writer and sports editor of our student run website Planet Blacksburg (http://planetblacksburg.com/). I had the privilege during college to take in many fantastic football venues including Notre Dame, LSU, Florida State and of course the friendly confines of Lane Stadium.
As much as I love Hokie football, I've always had a special place in my heart for Tech basketball. Cassell Coliseum is a special place and one of the most underrated home court advantages in the NCAA. Taking the ACC down a few pegs since our entrance into the ...
