Writer bio
http://aclevelanderinexile.blogspot.com
Jeff (formerly Dr. Poove') is a born and raised Clevelander, from THE 'Ville, who spent four years of college in Pittsburgh at THE Carnegie Mellon University from 1995-1999 where he couldn't even root for his beloved Browns. This has left him cursed to have a friend pool of half Browns fans and half Steelers fans.
He currently lives in exile in the Nation's Capital waiting for that fateful day when "You Know Who" dies and he can sneak up to Baltimore and tinkle on his grave. Why? Because "You Know Who" deserves it.
Jeff was born catholic but was taught to worship the Buckeyes on Saturday and the Browns on Sunday. He also lives and dies with the Indians and still follows the Cavs.
Jeff can be reached at smirnoff.je...

I'm a lifelong diehard Cleveland fan. Like many before me and after me, I've never been alive to see a pro sports championship in Cleveland, other than indoor soccer, and who cares about that? If it weren't for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2003, I'd have nothing. To make matters worse, I live and work in Pittsburgh, where I am constantly reminded of their 5 Super Bowl rings, 2 Stanley Cups, and multiple World Series Titles, all of which have happened in the last 30-40 years.
Even though I'm a firm believer that Cleveland is cursed (just when I think I've seen everything, something, usually horrible, happens) and sometimes I think that we may never win a championship, my enthusiasm for Cleveland sports and pride in Cleveland's teams has never and will never falter. Nevertheless, my ...

To the left is a picture of me as I hiked back up the Grand Canyon after hiking down to Phantom Ranch that same morning. Me and my dad hiked down the Bright Angel Trail, and up the Kaibab Trail.
Currently in high school, I run cross-country and track (one-mile and two-mile). I have a deep love for all Minnesota sports, but I have a deeper love for my Creator, Jesus Christ. I hope to bring you entertaining and relevant articles while I rant on whichever Minnesota sport happens to be struggling.
I recently came closer to Mexico when I moved to Tucson, Arizona, but moved farther away from my Minnesota sports.
No, I don't limit my interests to Minnesota sports. I love all sports, but I tend to gravitate towards the NFL. I will try to find peace with Arizona fans and maybe pick up a...

I am a Senior at a small college in the beautiful mountains of east Tennessee. I love sports! I am a die hard fan of the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Throughout my life my teams have disappointed me (with the exception of the Bulls back when I was really young) and left me feeling no hope at the end of the season. Hopefully before I die I will witness a championship victory for all of my teams so that Ohio can no longer be the place where sports teams choke, or just plain suck. Ha-ha.

I graduated last year from Stow-Munroe Falls High school. I played baseball in a youth league for 12 years and I played Lacrosse on the varsity team my senior year. This year I am a Freshman at the Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. I am in the Secondary Education program. I love to write especially about sports and my beloved Cleveland teams. I just wish that one of the teams would win a championship. I wouldn't care which sport, as long as a big trophy sat somewhere in the Stadium of a Cleveland team. I am a diehard Browns fan, and I can't what for He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named to die. I swore that the day he dies I am taking a shot with my brother. Anyone who wished to join come along, I might even pay for you.

I'm a rabid sports fan who is in absolute head-over-heels love with Chicago sports. I am a huge fan of the Cubs, of the Blackhawks, of the Bears, of the Bulls, and hell, even of the Fire.
I am willing to tackle any topic, no matter how controversial. I write mostly recaps and editorials, but have been known to change gears and write about something mundane and put an interesting spin on it.
Also, when it launches later this year, I'm going to be the Senior Sports Writer for the website www.ihifimedia.com. I'm also blogging now on BlogSpot, with shorter entries and also all of my entries on Bleacher Report concerning the Blackhawks. It can be found at:

I never know what to say in this spot. I know I am supposed to tell you guys something about myself that no one knows, or the things I like to do with my spare time, or -- even worse -- what I do for a living and how I got to where I am and all that jazz.
But really, I do not know what to say. I love sports, why else would I be here at Bleacher Report? Or writing a fantasy football blog of my own, TheHazean.com. And that is why you guys and gals are here, too: We love sports.
So, to recap, I do not know what to write in the Bio and I love sports.
And I will leave you with my favorite quote from LSU head coach Les Miles: "Have a great day!"

Feel free to drop me a note or just brag on how your team is better than mine and I will get back to you on that.

I'm a Journalism Major at Cleveland State University. I've always enjoyed writing and been very opinionated so in my second year in at Lorain County Community College in Lorain, OH I finally decided to give it a shot as something I could do for the rest of my life. I wrote several articles that were published in 'The Collegian' at LCCC and have continued to build my portfolio writing for 'The Cauldron' at CSU currently. I will write about anything I find interesting from sports to current events to music reveiws etc. etc. etc. and the list goes on. I feel by not limiting myself I can only help to expand my opportunities for the future while also expanding myself as a person.
