Being from North Jersey, I have been a Yankees fan since the day I was brought into this world. On the other hand—I am not a Giants fan. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And most importantly.. I am an over-obsessive, subway alumni of the University of Notre Dame.
Happy to be serving as Notre Dame's newest Featured Columnist.
I currently play basketball and am also a single-digit handicap golfer. I'm a fan of all sports, but I pay in extreme attention to College Football and Basketball, the MLB, and the NFL. The reason I joined the site is to ready myself for my journey into a ...

I'm a Double Domer with a strong interest for Fighting Irish football. I specialize in the numbers, meaning I track statistics and the schematic chess matches that go on during the games. I also write editorials about whatever piques my interest. Finally, I have my own college football computer ranking system which can be found at http://ClashmoreMike.com where I write.

I am a lifelong sports fan. Football is my passion. I am originally from Michigan but have lived in Hawaii for 10 years. My teams are all the Detroit teams, especially the Red Wings. I have a unique rooting interest in college football. I love Notre Dame, but I root for Michigan whenever they are not playing Notre Dame. The reason is that I am from Michigan but my Irish Catholic roots outrank where I am from. I love seeing Michigan and Notre Dame players succeed in the NFL. My two favorite Quarterbacks are both named Brady. While Tom Brady is well on his way to a hall of fame career, Brady Quinn needs to find a way to get out of Loserville, I mean Cleveland. The Browns have done nothing but screw him since they drafted him and he needs to be on a team that appreciates his talents.

I'm a long suffering Clevelander, now living in exile in the Washington, DC area. I grew up with a family obsessed with Notre Dame football, and have made it to at least one Irish game almost every year since I was 6 (25 years if you are counting... I'm not!). My uncle was the president of the Ohio Alumni association which, in addittion to getting me reamed out by Regis Philbin in Columbus for the 1995 ND/OSU games has offered me many insights and experienced usually reserved for students of the University.
I stupidly turned that oppertunity down (what was I thinking) and instead went on to Pittsburgh to earn a degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics (braces and artificial limbs), a field in which I work to fund my music and writing hobbies!
I never alligned myself much with the Panthers...

I live and breath Notre Dame football and nothing in the sports world comes close to it in my mind. I played hockey for years and I love the NHL. I find the NFL boring at times but it is too big to ignore. I like baseball more than the average guy but basketball less so. I think it would be amazing to be a professional golfer and travel the world writing about everything I see. Outside of sports I am heavy into music and have a healthy obsession with the Beatles. I look forward to sharing my opinion with everyone.
I have a degree in Government from St. Lawrence University and I am now working for a company that supplies the NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA, and thousands of schools and doctors with sports medicine products.

I admit I used to play the game where I was focused on moving up the ladder at B/R, trying my best to be the top writer and all that. But now I no longer pimp my articles, or look for websites to artificially increase readership, and I'm satisified writing what I want and not some nonsence just to attract reads.
Yep, I spent about a year ranked #1 in MLB and the Cubs, and was ranked as high as #2 overall on the site at one time. These days, I am happy simply contributing to the site and allowing others to take the mantle.

I'm just your average guy who loves sports.
I also like to cover more than just college football. This includes baseball, college basketball, hockey, auto racing (NASCAR and sometimes IRL), and the NFL.
College football is the dominant sport in my life, though. I watch every game that I possibly can. I have season tickets for the Vanderbilt Commodores since the stadium is just an hour from where I live. I love everything Tennessee. I root for just about every Tennessee team there is.
Hope you've learned a little more about me.

I just recently received my Masters degree form Cal State Northridge and am considering the pursuit of my PHD in social studies/history. Along the way, I have developed a passion for USC football, which I have followed for more than twenty years. In a somewhat less myopic state of mind, I also follow all things college football and most sports in general. My other passion is politics and I am very involved in following the day to day workings of the Washington DC movers and shakers. Now single after my ex-fiance got smart, I have decided that my next relationship will be with a woman who matches my interests or can share me with the things I love. In the meantime, I will get along following the things that make me happy.

I'm Alex, I'm from London, and I have a job as a journalist. About insurance. If there's anything that can drive the person truly mad, it's years of writing about insurance. Trust me. I know.
But my biggest love is sports. In the UK I love my soccer teams, but I have my big American passions: baseball and football. Sure, I can deal with the odd NBA game and March Madness, as well as a bit of the NFL, but give me Ken Griffey's swing and a Penn State White Out any day of the week.
So here I am. I have a blog - The View From North America - http://viewfromnorthamerica.blogspot.com that I hope you'll look at at some point.

Hi y'all. I'm a 20-year old college student at Rice University. I have been actively writing about sports for five years with a focus in college football, tennis, golf, horse racing, and folkstyle wrestling. I am currently working on a freelance piece about the 1969 Texas Longhorns football team. Furthermore, I am researching the University of Texas football team since 1957 and its effect on perceptions of race within the state.
Retired Australian tennis player Wayne Arthurs is my hero. His matches have helped me pull through some of my lower moments.
College sports are greater than professional sports, but you already knew that.
I have had one article published on CBSSports.com, which wa...

I am a 1986 graduate of the University of Notre Dame living in the heart of Orange County, California. Working hard and raising two kids with my wonderful wife (SMC '86), I'm running the rat race like everyone else I see on the freeways of Southern California. I am passionate about my family and my University. My family won't want me blogging about them, but the University doesn't seem to mind. So I'll share my opinions about Fighting Irish football, the University in general, politics, and anything else that comes to mind.

I have been watching Notre Dame football almost religiously for the last ~20 years. I am an avid college football fan (I would watch over the NFL any day), I typically watch a Big 10 game, then ND, then the game on ESPN or ABC depending on who is playing. It annoys my wife to no end, trust me. I'm also a huge Cubbies fan, but I am not sure if they have the pieces in 2009...

My name is Kyle McMorrow and I recently graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Throughout my various jobs and internships I have interviewed players and managers for the evening news and websites. By far my favorite interview was when I went to Shea Stadium to gather sound from Tom Glavine after his 300th victory.
I have written for the Big Ten Networks website, and interned at ABC in New York. While I am currently a freelance writer for different New York teams, I hope to find something more permanent and stable soon.
I have always had a love for New York teams like the Yankees, Knicks, Giants, and Rangers. I live and breath sports, if they were ever taken away from me I think I'd go mad. My most memorable memory of any New York sport ...

I agree with LJ Burgess. God Bless TW Krems.
I'm a guy who got in football too late to play it in high school or college. But I love it too much to give up, so I intend to follow my dreams and do what the inspirational movies tell you to do. I want to be a great sportswriter on NFL and maybe be on the Hall of Fame Committee and an analyst for ESPN or NFL, I will not give it up no matter what.
I've recently been named a Community Leader for the Dallas Cowboys. I intend to keep that position for quite some time. But, I am not solely a Cowboy writer. I write on multiple subjects, and do a Cowboy piece every few articles.
I like multiple teams b/c of certain players, but I am true blue down to my toenails. I feel like the disappointment of Dallas not doing so well this past season ...

Born in Mexico City, I learned to like "american" football since young. Green Bay Packers were my 1st favorite team. I also like Washington Redskins and Sn Fco. 49ers. No love for the AFL.
Lately, I have tended to watch and enjoy more college football. Notre Dame became my favorite college team since the 70's. I am glad to have enjoyed Notre Dame being the National Champions three times. Other teams I enjoy following are Texas Longhorns, Penn State Nitany Lions and Auburn Tigers.
