Born in NYC, I grew up with a love for the Yankees. After leaving NY at a young age and moving to a city without sports (Las Vegas), I had to find my own sports loves. As I grew, I found NASCAR and the Detroit Red Wings. However, I'm a fan of sporting events in general. A night at the local bar with wings and games on the big screen TVs make me a happy camper. With a degree in Journalism, getting to write about the sports I love makes me even happier!

I'm enjoying the Bleacher Report community and will spend the next 3 months in their Sports Editing Internship to build my journalism skill set.

Mark Rudi has been a life long sports fan and since middle school as had dreams of becoming of a sportswriter. Mark attended Western Michigan University and earned a Bachelors degree in Journalism in December 2009. Mark was the sports editor of WMU's student newspaper, The Western Herald, from May-December 2009 and also was a sportswriter on the Western Herald from May 2008-April 2009. Mark's main beats were WMU volleyball and men's basketball in 2008-09 and WMU football and hockey in 2009-10. Mark also was a Bleacher Report editing intern during the summer in 2009.

got to go to a karting center at age 8 and from 8 to 15 raced in a go kart league
got into dirt racing late last year
got to race some in 2009 but the economy has put me out for the rest of the points season

Kelly's has a love of NASCAR that borders on obsession. Since July of 2001 she has been hooked on this fast paced sport and it only took 160 laps at the Daytona International Speedway and a Dale Earnhardt Jr. victory to seal her fate.

Since then she has made NASCAR a major part of her life and plans for that to continue as she earns her Bachelors Degree in Corporate Communications in hopes of becoming a journalist for the sport she loves so very much.

First off, thank you for reading my articles. I hope you enjoy them and in some ways learn something new. I write about NASCAR. I love the sport as much as I love my family, they would say I love it more. I enjoy following the NASCAR Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series as well as the NASCAR Sprint Cup series. I'm a avid auto racing fan, but only like the NCWTS in NASCAR, it's my favorite series these days and the series reminds me of old school NASCAR. I'm talking NASCAR 20+ years ago, like the mix of the young talent, with the wily veterans, the small teams and they put on the best show of the three top series.

I grew up a HUGE sports fan in the suburbs of KCMO (though not of any of the local teams lol): I've been a NASCAR fan all my life, and hope to write about it someday professionally :). I've been a diehard New York Yankees fan since I was eight, a loyal Randy Orton fan since I started watching wrestling in 2005, and became a Chicago Bears fan the day I found out my beloved Jay Cutler had been traded.
