Brady Quinn Top Writers

I am a lifelong sports fan. Football is my passion. I am originally from Michigan but have lived in Hawaii for 10 years. My teams are all the Detroit teams, especially the Red Wings. I have a unique rooting interest in college football. I love Notre Dame, but I root for Michigan whenever they are not playing Notre Dame. The reason is that I am from Michigan but my Irish Catholic roots outrank where I am from. I love seeing Michigan and Notre Dame players succeed in the NFL. My two favorite Quarterbacks are both named Brady. While Tom Brady is well on his way to a hall of fame career, Brady Quinn needs to find a way to get out of Loserville, I mean Cleveland. The Browns have done nothing but screw him since they drafted him and he needs to be on a team that appreciates his talents.

I have been a fan of the NFL since I can remember. While growing up through the 80s, I followed NFL greats such as: Eric Dickerson, Bo Jackson, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Dan Marino, Lawrence Taylor, Ronnie Lott and Brian Brennan (who is a great player by Browns fans standards)
Not only am I a huge fan of NFL football and college football, but I am also a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. I remember going to my first game back in the 1980 at old Cleveland Municipal Stadium, and being stuck behind one of the infamous pillars in the lower deck. That game was one of the most excited moments of my youth! The sounds, atmosphere and crowd really made the entire experience special for me as a young boy.
Now, even through all the turmoil of the franchise continuing its rebuildin...

3 - Dawgfather
Writer bio
33, living behind enemy lines in the "City of Champions" as a Browns fan. I'm from the East Side suburb of Cleveland Heights and have lived and died with the Browns all my life. I'm ready to see the Browns take the next step and be competitive again this year.
I'am a member of the Pittsburgh Browns Backers and have been writing about the Browns for the last five years. Originally starting out as a e-newsletter, Robert's Rant in 2005 and 2006, I have been published on Browns247.com as the controversial and hard-hitting UNLEASHED since 2007 and after taking a hiatus from blogging to work on publishing my first e-book, BlackSeed, The Dawgfather is back!
Check out the new and improved UNLEASHED blog at http://roberts-rant.blogspot.com/ and follow me on Twitter at http:/...

4 - Steve Tater
Writer bio
Steve is an attorney in the Cleveland area and a self-proclaimed "sports junkie." He is a former high school quarterback (not a very good one) and baseball player [who continued to try to live out his glory days on the sandlots into his mid-30s until his arm nearly fell off].
Steve now lives vicariously through his 9-year old son and 19-year old daughter. He spends his free time coaching little league, reading/watching/blogging about sports, and listening to his daughter's music ( www.leahloumusic.com )
Steve is now "trapped" in his profession but would work for minimum wage if some professional sports franchise would make him their GM.

I never know what to say in this spot. I know I am supposed to tell you guys something about myself that no one knows, or the things I like to do with my spare time, or -- even worse -- what I do for a living and how I got to where I am and all that jazz.
But really, I do not know what to say. I love sports, why else would I be here at Bleacher Report? Or writing a fantasy football blog of my own, TheHazean.com. And that is why you guys and gals are here, too: We love sports.
So, to recap, I do not know what to write in the Bio and I love sports.
And I will leave you with my favorite quote from LSU head coach Les Miles: "Have a great day!"

Let's see, for starters I have an unhealthy addiction to hockey—my friends hate me for it.
I graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
I have covered sports at the high school and collegiate level.
I have an obsession with the New York Rangers, Yankees, and Dallas Cowboys.
I also enjoy the LA Dodgers and Washington Capitals—largely due to a huge man-crush on Alex Ovechkin.
I would love to be a scout or coach in professional sports, even though I am probably one of the worst fantasy-team managers in the universe.

I'm a former journalism professor at Ohio University, and I still enjoy teaching, although I don't do it anymore in a formal classroom. But I'm also a sportswriter, which I enjoy doing nearly as much as I enjoy teaching. I have written about sports as diverse as hockey and pro wrestling, but my areas of expertise are pro football, baseball and basketball. I am a former senior writer for MLB.com, and I have also been a sports editor or an assistant sports editor at several newspapers.
