Writer bio
I'm a 24-year old writer and former newspaper reporter hailing from southeastern Mass.
I've been a Pats fan most of my life, likely because I live within 15 minutes of Gillette Stadium. As a teen, I would often work at the stadium just to see Pats games in person. I caught some memorable playoff games there, and it's an atmosphere I'll never forget.

My claim to fame, thus far, is being the only Virginia student reporter (to the best of my knowledge) who's ever covered the Cavaliers' NFL pro days—for WahooWire.com in 2008 and for the Cavalier Daily this past March.
It's a start.
Quotation of the moment: "Oh yeah, nothing says 'football fan' like being upset that you can't sit at a stadium with your laptop on your lap and up-to-the-second info about whether Devery Henderson just caught an 11-yard pass. Man I want to beat this guy." [Sam Greenspan (11points.com) skewering ESPN's Bill Simmons]

Im a life long Red Sox fan. Ive lived in the Boston area my whole life and Ive been going to Fenway since the mid 80s. I run the blog MassholeSports.com
I don't considered myself a writer but I get so caught up in Boston sports that I need a place to release some of these ideas and opinions that are running rampant in my head. So the blog is very therapeutic for me.
Most of my writing is opinion/editorial. Im not a journalist so Im not going to race to be the first one to post breaking news. But I will write about how badly certain players suck or I will write and give my sarcastic, humorous, twisted opinions on issues involving Boston sports teams and players.
Sincerely,
Neal

I am a 36 year old male, married with two children ages 11 & 15. I like the Packers with or without Favre. I love football. I don't care who's playing, I'll always watch. I like Spam, the mail AND the meal (even that nasty jelly goo that forms around the meat cube). I think that Ed Hochuli has had pectoral implants. I believe the children are our future. I love the way John Madden can make a microphone look like a toothpick. I am often outraged by the tuck rule AND...I like big butts and I can not lie.

14 - Nick Colon
Writer bio
Hey everyone. I'm Nick, I'm 20, and I'm a writer here on B/R. I focus mainly on Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Hockey, but I am a total sports nut, and I'll write about baseball, basketball, racing, golf, soccer, boxing, etc... I love it all!!!
I live in Mass. and currently attend Salem State College here in the Northeast. I work as a customer service rep. and I go to school full time. My major is Communications, and my concentration is journalism, so I hope to do something in the Newspaper field, even though many say it's drying up!
I've done a lot as a writer thus far, and I'm currently building on my resume more and more daily. If you have any questions, comments, or tips to help me I'm more than happy to read them and look it over.
