There is one man who I wish did not die, the way he did and all I write is for him:

I'm Michael Griffin, and I'm 18 Years Old. I live in England, United Kingdom. I found Bleacher Report through an advert on Facebook. Once I discovered Bleacher Report, I decided to begin writing. It's almost taken over my life.

I mainly write about Formula One, but I also write on football, and now I am the Community Leader of the all-new darts section. I hope to have some type of job presenting Formula One on the radio. BBC Radio Five Live would be brilliant. How cool could that be?

I am a co-founder of the much acclaimed "Chequered Flag Roundtable", along with current Community Leader Ben Auty.

I created the popular Safety First series, where I looked at the various eras of Formula One and how safety improved as the years went by. I also created the brand-new weekl...

Steve and I just started doing a new show for ARCA too. The all new "Inside ARCA" is broadcast before a live audience from the ARCA owned, Toledo Speedway every week. "Inside ARCA" is carried by ON PIT RADIO Network stations and streams live at ArcaRacing.com and OnPitRow.com Tuesdays at 7 pm EDT.

Are you supposed to write these things third-person like a CV? I dunno. My main sports interest is F1, I sometimes watch GP2 and MotoGP, and enjoy the big cycle tours. International footlball is another interest, 40 years of hurt there. My life revolves around my wife and my dog; I believe that tomorrow is another day and we might all be dead.

I appreciate the opportuntity Bleacher gives amateur writers like me to get noticed in some small way, but don't like their bio questions so substitute my own.

Hey everyone! I joined Bleacher Report to write about Formula One in particular. F1 is definately my favourite sport. I also like GP2, Moto GP, football, cricket and tennis. I'm going to start writing about GP2 pretty soon but I'll leave it to the experts to write about the rest!

I follow the McLaren Mercedes F1 team, Lewis Hamilton in particular. I support Arsenal FC and would like to see Bruno Senna win the 2008 GP2.

Valentino Rossi is my favourite Moto GP championship contender, but James Toseland is my favourite rider.

I've only recently started to follow cricket, since Peiterson became captain. And in Tennis, I like to see Andy Murray do well!

I am still only at school but I am very keen on going into sports journalism so I thought that Bleacher Report might be good e...

9 - Chris Leone

Writer bio

Hi, my name is Chris. I live in the northeastern part of the US.

I am an aspiring journalist who has followed every major racing series - NASCAR, IndyCar, and Formula 1 - since I was a kid. This is just one step on the way to doing that for a living.

I've been chasing the NASCAR silly season since I was in my early teens, drawing up charts, trying to figure out who's headed where - occasionally making some pretty bold predictions. (My shining moment was picking unheralded David Ragan to replace Mark Martin in the #6 at Roush Racing, three months before it happened. Talk about a good call.)

I graduate high school in 2009 and am looking at majoring in some form of communications in college.

My personal website is www.freewebs.com/chrisleone, feel free to have a look around.

Writer bio

Hi, I am Daniel and my big passion in life is motorsport and thats what I will be writing about mostly on here, particularly Formula 1. I started being interested in Formula 1 in the mid 90s when I use to watch races with my Granddad and ever since my passion has grown more and more for it. I have always supported David Coulthard mainly for the reason that we have the same initials, there have been many other drivers and teams I have liked over the years but I have always been a DC fan.

Recently I have taken interest in other forms of Motorsport and I now love watching moto GP and Touring cars amongst other things. I also work on a motorsports forum where I write arcticles for members to discuss and contribute to their topics. www.wheelnutsforum.co.uk

Outside of motorsport I love ...

15 - Sheiban Shakeri

Writer bio

First and foremost: I like cars. I like racing them, I like watching them race and I like the intricacies of them. Ever since I was a child, I loved watching cars race regardless of what series they were. In the end though, Formula 1 became my forte! When it comes to this series, I don't have any favourite team in particular. My favourite driver, on the other hand, is Kimi Raikkonen and I was really glad to see him take the WDC for 2007.

As well, I follow the Le Mans and the American Le Mans Series. It's very different from Formula One in that you have to think more towards the future rather than the present in order to win a race. At least that's how I see it.

Overall, when it comes to motorsport, I turn on my inner child and go nuts!

I also follow the Red Bull Air Race, a new...

16 - Francois Gendron

Writer bio

I am from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and I own a sports blog at overtim.blogspot.com

I played hockey since I was 5 years old both as a player and a goalie. First as a goalie for my first 5 or 6 years, then as a player for 4 years to finally go back to good old goaltending since.

Goaltending is my forte as I am currently (secretly) training for next season.

I am not talking about NHL here right off the bat, just relax hehehe...

But am sure will be looking for a pro training camp come next june/july/august. I am browsing different european leagues and north american leagues right now.

A coaching position is of course kept for later, once my physical abilities as a player will be obsolete. I am 34 years old and if Hasek can do it at 42-43ish I damn sure can for as long as h...

17 - Paul Murtagh

Writer bio

Hi everyone. My name is Paul Murtagh and I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I have a huge interest in both soccer and Formula 1, and like to express my opinion on these subjects. I have written many articles before on both subjects, but it wasn't until I registered with this website that I have been able to express myself

I am also a global moderator on a motorsport forum called Wheelnuts (www.wheelnutsforum.com) where we discuss the events of all things motorsport, as well as post articles, run competitions and run a Motorsport Hall of Fame. We have been going since January 2008 and are continually expanding, taking in members from as far as the USA, Germany and Latvia despite being mostly British-dominated.

18 - James Broomhead

Writer bio

I'm a motorsport fan first and foremost, and given the chance will watch just about anything I get the chance to.

I've been a fan since as long as I can remember, well, at least since I was 3, watching F1 on TV, going to local tracks for races, before going on holiday and being driven up the banking at Daytona in a minibus.

I write just for the love of it (although if someone feels like paying me for it, I'd be more than happy) and because if I ranted this much to a person's face, they'd hurt me. If you get even a fraction of the enjoyment I get from writing when you read it, then I'll always be happy.

If you're a glutton for punishment then I also rant on the blogs section of FOXsports.com.

One piece of advice: never major in chemistry if you want to pick up chicks or sit around doing nothing all the time during those all important college years.

Be sure to check back periodically for all of the latest opinions, complaints, and news surrounding the NFL, MLB, NASCAR, NCAA FB, and NCAA BB. And if the Malice at the Palace is ever repeated in the NBA or the NHL decides to play a game on Mars, you''ll hear about that too.

Writer bio

My name's Nick and I'm 18. I've just left school and am studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Durham university next year. But my real passion is sport, both playing and watching.

My favourite sport is probably football, I've been a fan of Manchester United for as long as I can remember. But, I also love rugby, particularly Northampton Saints and southern hemisphere rugby.

Since I saw Boston Red Sox in the summer of 1997 at Fenway Park, I have become a huge baseball fan and ultimately, want to watch a World Series game at Fenway Park, but living thousands of miles away makes it kinda hard.

I also love tennis, athletics, american football, cricket and golf (more for playing than watching). Basically I'm a sports enthusiast and keen to provoke and join debates on any spo...

I'm a twenty-something on the down hill slope of being a twenty-something hailing from the states of confusion and Nebraska. Mostly from Nebraska though. I think this year is going to be the year for the Huskers! Well maybe not the year we go all the way but bringing back Bo and putting Dr. Tom in as the AD was a step in the right direction and I can't wait to see what happens this year!
Along with being a fan of the Husker Nation I'm also a fan of the Boston Red Sox, NASCAR, and thanks to Danica Patrick IRL racing. I happen to think John Stockton is the greatest point guard to ever lace up a pair of high tops and think Steve Nash is trying to follow in Stock's great foot steps and doing a fairly decent job at it too! I am 17 years old, and live in Warminster, PA which is just outside of Philadelphia. I am going to be a senior in high school this year. I have 2 sisters, one older and one younger. My parents are great and very supportive of me with my racing. When I was younger I would go watch my cousin Michael Carber race quarter midgets and thought that it was pretty cool. So when I when I was 12 years old my uncle was selling his 600cc micro sprint and I asked my dad to buy it for me and he did. I drove it for 3 years until I was 15 when I started driving a 358 sprint car. I kept racing the 600 but only when Kutztown Fair Speedway was racing on Wednesday nights. When I was 16 my I was asked to drive a 410 sprint car. Then right before this season started my uncle came to me and asked me to drive h...

So if you spot any grammar mistakes or non-idiomatic expressions, you are more than welcome to let me know.

I also have a blog profile on foxsports so if you see some articles that are very similar to any from 'Trans-Pacific Traveller' over there, that would be because I wrote it in the first place.
