Appreciate The Greatness 3: Two Triple Threat Classics

Welcome to another great addition of ATG (Appreciate The Greatness). This is the third addition to the series where we take a look at some past and present matches that have greatness written all over them from start to finish.

Now with WWE Survivor Series & TNA Wrestling's Turning Point both around the corner, with three triple-threat matches for the main events, I thought it would be an awesome idea to look back at some of the great triple-threat matches of the past in order to prepare for the events right ahead of us.

First, what's ahead of us. Turning Point will be holding their TNA World Title bout, featuring AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Christopher Daniels. In the WWE Survivor Series Title bout we'll see John Cena vs Triple H vs Shawn Michaels. The World Title bout will feature The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho vs The Big Show.

Triple-threat matches or "Three-way dance" (whatever you want to call it) have always been unique: They are always (at least the good ones) full of action, as it's more than one wrestler in the ring trying to get the win & the glory.

These matches ultimately bring a great storyline and potentially a great match. A three-way feud has it all and they are a fan favorite match for a select few fans around the wrestling world.

When the dust has settled and it's all said and done and it's time to throw down, these matches bring the action and usually don't disappoint.

That being said, let's jump in and take a look at some classic triple-threat matches.

AJ STYLES VS SAMOA JOE VS CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (C)- X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH: UNBREAKABLE 05

What do you know we have one of the upcoming triple-threat matches already on the ATG (Appreciate The Greatness) list as these three have already participated in an epic battle.

That time it was for the X-Division Title, however. This time it's for a bigger prize; the TNA Wrestling's World Heavyweight Title which is held by "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and will be defended at this year's Turning Point.

Until they go at it again, and possibly recreate the magic they made in that previous matchup, we'll just have to take a look back at the match that set the standard; where they put on one heck of a performance that had fans going crazy.

Not only did this match deliver in the ring it had an awesome buildup to it. While this may not be TNA's best feud, I can ensure you it's one of the best. It had intensity, fire, and heart throughout the course of the match.

What else can you ask for?

This match delivered 100 percent wither you agree or disagree you can still sit down and relax and Appreciate The Greatness of this match.

Samoa Joe entered TNA Wrestling with a message and that message was to destroy all that got in his way to the top of the TNA ladder. Two of those guys that were standing in his way for the X-Division Title were AJ Styles & at the time champion Christopher Daniels.

But the only thing is these two were not backing down and were to put up one heck of a fight for X-Division supremacy. This match was set as Daniels interfered in the Sacrifice tournament finals to name a Number No. 1 contender for the X-Division Title between AJ Styles & Samoa Joe.

As a result of Daniels' interference Samoa Joe won. But this did not sit so well with TNA Director of Authority Larry Zbyszko so he decided to add Styles to the mix at Unbreakable 05.

This result set up an epic feud between the three which would all play out into a eruptive match as all the pressure and anticipation was unleashed in the ring as this three put it all on the line for the X Title.

These three did not wait to get things going; well Samoa Joe & AJ Styles didn't as they both went on attack mode to weaken the reigning X-Division champion.

Once they had Daniels down, they put on a show to up-one one another to prove who can cause more damage with brutal leg kicks to the back of the champ (Daniels).

Once Daniels was out of the picture the moment AJ went on to pursue an attack on the vicious Samoa Joe with two pin fall attempts...Samoa Joe was not thinking the same way as he put a halt to AJ's plans as Styles attempted to pull off another pin Joe pulled a nice reverse and applied an aggressive submission maneuver.

At this point Daniels made his return into the picture and set up his own aggressive attack on both Joe & Styles to prove that he must not be taken lightly...But Samoa Joe retained control over the match once again once he knocked Daniels out of the ring... Joe set Styles up in the corner and laid down some vicious strikes that weakened "The Phenomenal One."

But Daniels wasn't going to let Samoa Joe take the spotlight as he re-entered the ring and retained the match in his favor for a moment. These three were gassed, but this did not stop them from putting on one heck of a match.

These three continued to lay down some aggressive strikes and maneuvers to slow down their opponents. They fans could not stay quiet or seem to sit down as every bit of this match was great.

Once we thought we seen it all these three started to go air born and applied some awesome tricks that they had up their sleeves to keep the crowd and the fans at home in a so far gone stage.

Samoa Joe would then go on a rampage to try and end the match and he would eventually set up an incredible muscle buster on Styles which looked to be the end of an awesome match...But Daniels who was in a desperate need to save his belt ran in the ring with his coveted belt to attack Joe but Joe would counter with an awesome body slam.

Samoa Joe would then grab the belt and would taunt Daniels with it that is till the referee stepped in to take the belt to keep it out of the match... At that moment Daniels set up a kick to the head of Joe which laid him out.

Styles and Daniels would then stand toe to toe in the center of the 6-sided ring and would throw some vicious blows. They (Styles & Daniels) would continue to go at it till Daniels would take over and would set up a awesome BME (Best Moonsault Ever).

The match seemed to be over but Samoa Joe stopped the match to keep the X-Division Title on his mind. But Daniels would show just why he was champ and would place some sick maneuvers on the aggressive Samoa Joe.

From this point forward all three men looked to end the match and take the victory, belt and the glory in their favor... Each man would set up some awesome moves to finish the match but each man had the no quit effort.

But AJ Styles would seize the moment and would prove just why he is "Phenomenal" by securing the win and title by landing an awesome reverse to claim the win over Daniels.

This feud would continue on as these three had two more matches which didn't disappoint either...Now they have the opponent to show that when these three get in the ring they create pure magic so check out TNA Turning Point 09 to see if they can do just that.

KURT ANGLE (C) VS CHRIS JERICHO VS CHRIS BENOIT EUROPEAN & INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: WRESTLEMANIA 2000

This triple threat match was like no other as it was an two fall triple threat match for the IC & European Title which both at the time belonged to Kurt Angle.

This match was looked to be a great one as all three men deliver in most if not all of their matches...And to throw all three in the ring with two titles on the line you knew it was going to be an explosion.

Angle, Jericho and Benoit looked to still the show on the biggest stage of them all Wrestlemania 2000 (16) but these three had some stiff competition as they had to go up against a stacked card:

First Ever Thirteen-Man Battle Royal for the Hardcore Title: Crash Holly vs Hardcore Holly vs Tazz vs Gangrel vs Mean Street Posse vs Headbangers vs Viscera vs Acolytes vs Midian
Triangle Ladder Match for the WWF Tag Team Titles: Hardy Boyz vs Dudley Boyz vs Edge & Christian
Another WrestleMania First: Fatal Four-Way Elimination Title Match for the WWF Title: Triple H (C) vs Big Show vs The Rock vs Mick Foley

And with some other potentially great matches on the card these three looked to blow the roof off the arena to steal the show.

Like in every other triple threat match there was no time being wasted as Benoit attacked Angle to get the upper hand over the champ and take control of the match.

All three set a pace in this match that seemed to never slow down as they beat each other down... Every moment each man thought they had the control of the match one of them would stop those thoughts by shifting the control by making their own aggressive attack.

All three men Angle, Benoit and Jericho were the aggressor in this epic three-way match and it would stay that way through out the match. The intensity in the air was at an all time high as these three delivered it first hand through out the entire match. It was like you could feel every slam, submission, and strike as they delivered it with an deadly fashion.

The match went back and forth and forth and back from all three opponents but Benoit would start to take control...Benoit took an golden opportunity and capitalized on it as he head dived his way to claim the IC Title with a pin over Jericho.

Angle started to become frustrated as he had now lost one of his titles and it looked like he would be losing the European title as well if he didn't take control... Angle started to put a clinic of slams on Benoit to try and contain his European Title.

Angle would then go up to the top rope to hit at what looked to be a moonsault but those plans were stopped by Jericho as he knocked Angle down on the top rope.

This would lead to an awesome spot in the match as Benoit joined along and set up a suplex on Jericho as they both hit the canvas of the mat leaving Angle on the top rope...

This led to another awesome spot in the match as Angle would try to pull off another moonsault but Benoit would move out of the way leaving Angle to fall face first on the mat (ouch).

Jericho would then take that time to try and capture the European Title but was stopped by the vicious Benoit...The match picked up right were it started from with all three men clawing to grab the victory and one of the belts if not both.

Benoit, Angle and Jericho continued to keep the crowds attention by making some devastating maneuvers on one another to keep the steady pace of the match. Like I stated before this match was full of action and it did not stop as each one tried to pull off the victory.

But the course of the match seemed to be changing once Jericho knocked out the referee by accident... Jericho used this chance to put the pain on Benoit by supplying the Walls of Jericho.

But Angle was not going to sit back and let his last title change hands like his IC title did so he grabbed his belt and bashed Jericho over the head.

Angle would try and pin Jericho but Benoit would stop the count and would then try and deliver another winning head dive... But Angle would remember just how he landed face first earlier in the match as well and moved out the way so Benoit could feel the same pain.

This led to Jericho taken the golden opportunity to claim the European Title and leaving Angle with nothing.

Appreciate the WWE Greatness: Two High-Flyers, an Instant Classic, and a Tribute

When all else fails, appreciate the greatness displayed in the ring.

Why, you ask? Because the mainstream program of the sports and entertainment world is always going to find a way to disappoint even the most dedicated fan.

This is why we should always take a step back and realize the real reason we love the pro wrestling world is because of the art form showcased in the wrestling ring.

After a great success with my past article, “When All Else Fails, Appreciate the Greatness Displayed in the Ring,” I knew it would be right if I continue this trend to leave that reminder in wrestling fans' minds everywhere.

Why appreciate the greatness?

Because the greatness is what takes place in the ring; yes, there are other factors that bring it all together and make the product even better...but this is the reason we were drawn to the product.

These guys/girls work hard to bring the art form to TV sets every week. They are artists, and when they have the right canvas, they can create a masterpiece.

So let’s take a look at some great masterpieces, shall we?

RANDY SAVAGE VS. RICKY “THE DRAGON” STEAMBOAT—WRESTLEMANIA III

Can you say “INSTANT CLASSIC” or what?

This match had a great build to it as these two great talents would be at each other’s throat until their highly regarded match at WrestleMania III.

Savage met Steamboat in a match for the Intercontinental title, which ended by count out in Savage's favor.

Although Savage still held on to his beloved IC title, he still felt threatened by “The Dragon,” so he decided to put him on the shelf by injuring Steamboat's larynx with a ring bell.

This left Steamboat on the shelf for two months, but this would not make Steamboat forget what Savage had done to him.

It wasn't long before the two were scheduled to meet at WrestleMania III.

This highly anticipated match would live up to the hype and surpass it, as they brought the house down.

After all the hype and intense promos, it was time for the two to settle their dispute in the ring for the Intercontinental title.

These two did not waste any time; this match was very intense, and very high-impact. Savage and Steamboat beat each other down every inch of the ring.

The two simply set a pace from start to finish and kept a physical tone in the match...Macho man seemed to have the upper hand in most of the match and was beating Steamboat down to ultimate weakness.

Steamboats diehard effort and ever inspiring heart made the match even more unique, as the Macho Man had trouble putting Steamboat out for the win.

This led to Savage being frustrated and had him looking for the ring bell to put a motionless Dragon out with a flying elbow with bell in hand.

But George Steel, being in Steamboats corner, prevented that from happening by knocking the Macho Man off the top rope.

At this time Earl Hebner regained his stability while Macho Man looked to set up a body slam; that’s when Steamboat pulled off an epic roll-up to secure the win and the Intercontinental title.

This match would end up being a favorite to fans everywhere for years and still is to this day, as they simply displayed an effort that seemed to be untouched at that time and would be a setting point for future great matches.

REY MYSTERIO VS. EDDIE GUERRERO—HALLOWEEN HAVOC '97

If you truly are a cruiserweight fan or simply enjoy the style then this is the match for you.

Back in the day when the cruiserweight title actually meant something and held value before being tarnished with the likes of Hornswoggle you could see great matches like these.

But this match had something extra special to it...the atmosphere, the moment and the glorious high flying action were all set at the right time.

These two looked to make every moment in the match a high light reel which they basically did.

The action displayed in the ring made you not want to turn away...for example, your mind was telling you to go pee but your eyes were instantly glued to the match from start to finish.

Guerrero was laying down a brute force on the high flying Mysterio as he was trying to leave with the belt and Mysterio’s mask...as the match was a Title vs. Mask match.

Every time Mysterio would try to gain control Eddie was always there to get the upper hand and control of the match.

To slow down the fast pace Mysterio, Eddie simple tortured Rey Mysterio to keep the high flyer down but with pride and heart Mysterio would fight back.

He did so by pulling off dazzling maneuvers that had fans in a daze.

Mysterio pulled off his finally glorious moment of the match with a reversal as Guerrero was setting up a power bomb off the top rope...Mysterio accomplished the successful maneuver and won the belt to keep his beloved mask.

Could we possibly see the rebirth of the cruiserweight title in great fashion?

BRET HART VS. CHRIS BENOIT—NITRO: TRIBUTE TO OWEN HART

After the death of his younger brother Owen Hart, Bret Hart wanted to send a tribute to him the only way he knew he could do the best and that is putting on an awesome match.

Bret would hand pick a fellow Canadian technical wrestler Chris Benoit, which would not be a disappointing choice, as they provided the fans a good match and the front-seat viewer (Owen) a great tribute.

The two kicked off the match with a hand shake to show the respect the two had for one another...after that, the two went to technical work.

Hart and Beniot would go back in forth by landing very intense grappling maneuvers… It was like the two were trying to break one another.

Bret Hart would keep up the steady pace to wear down the vicious Benoit, but Benoit would get his chance to bring the pain.

Benoit clawed his way back up to try and slow down Bret’s steady and intense pace, as every grappling move Bret made was made with a statement.

Each of them even displayed some of Owen's signature moves—and laid them down with devastating fashion.

The two wore each other down and were fueled on pure heart and emotion to put on a classic match.

The two were playing offense and defense at the same time as each tried to supply their signature submission (Crippler Cross face and The Sharp Shooter).

But Bret slipped in his aggressive Sharp Shooter and secured his win for the match as Benoit tapped out.

But it was never really about a win or a loss at all; it was all for the respect and love for Owen Hart.

The two gave their respect two Owen as they stood in the center of the ring and shared a respectful hug.

The Ultimate Fighter 10: Meet The Heavyweights Part 2

Welcome everyone to part two of The Ultimate Fighter: Meet the Heavyweights if you missed part one click here.

In part one we took a look at Zak Jensen, Marcus Jones, Scott Junk, Jon Madsen, James McSweeney, Matt Mitrione and Roy Nelson.

Now let’s take a look at the remainder of this chalk full of potential cast of The Ultimate Fighter season 10.

DEMICO ROGERS (0-0-0):

Another fresh face to the MMA world Demico Rogers is looking to make a name for him on this season’s TUF.

BRENDAN SCHAUB (4-0-0):

Brendan Schaub another former NFL player who was part of the Buffalo Bills but did not play for them decided to step in the world of MMA and has made it a successful one so far.

Schaub made his MMA debut on 06/13/08 against Jay Lester which he would make a victorious one with a first round TKO in the first 30 seconds.

Schaub would continue this TKO trend with his next three fights as well with victories over Johnny Curtis via TKO (Knee Injury) round 1 time of 1:07… This would lead to two more TKO wins in the first round as well over Alex Rozman (Punches) at the time of 1:27 and a and Bojan Spalevic via TKO (Punches) at the time of 52 seconds in the first round.

With a clean loss record and four continuous wins under his belt Schaub looks to continue his impressive TKO win streak… Maybe he will continue this trend with the likes of Kimbo Slice as he made it clear upon Slices entrance presented by Dana White that he did not like Kimbo by stating, “F*** that guy”.

Will we see a matchup between Schaub vs Slice? Well you will have to watch and see.

DARRILL SCHOONOVER (10-0-0):

Schoonover is another undefeated fighter on this seasons cast and is hoping to stay on that track all the way to the UFC octagon.

Schoonover made his MMA debut on 01/12/08 for Bonecrunch Fighting—Tampa Terrors vs. Port St. Lucie Devils with an impressive win with a Rear Naked Choke in the first round at the time of 1:16.

Schoonover would build up an impressive tear through his fellow competitors that stepped in to fight the undefeated heavyweight.

He would continue his streak with wins over Doug Williams, Chris Hawk, Corey Bellino, another win over Doug Williams, Brian Leftfoot, Mark Holata, George Paz, and Justin Howard and in his most recent fight before joining the cast he beat Rex Richards via TKO (Punches).

Schoonover being very comfortable with his fighting skills is hoping to prove his dominance against fellow inspiring heavyweights.

WES SHIVERS (0-0-0):

Wes Shivers is also a clean face with a clean record in the MMA world and is looking to build up his abilities while in the TUF house.

WES SIMS (22-12-1):

Wes Sims has a grip on experience in the MMA world with a total of 35 fights under his belt.

Sims made his MMA debut on 06/23/01 with a disappointing decision loss to Dan Severn.

Sims would make a five 6 win streak (With a no contest along the way against Edwin Allseitz) rebound with wins over Mike Paduano, Josh Mueller, Joe Mellotte, John Harmon, Mike Shepard and Marcus Silveira.

Sims would go on a 3 fight loss stint in the UFC with two loses by Frank Mir the first being at UFC 43- Meltdown via DQ (Kicking a Downed Opponent)… The rematch with Frank Mir would take place at UFC 46- Supernatural via KO (Punches).

Wes Sims would look to rebound but would fall short with his third loss against Mike Kyle at UFC 47- It’s On via KO (Punch).

Wes Sims would go onto another loss against Ricardeau Francois via TKO 26 seconds into the second round.

After suffering four deadly loses in a row that can be cryptic to ones MMA career Sims looked to get back on track with a win… Sims would take on and defeat Joe Mellote via Submission (Strikes) at EFC 9—Extreme Fighting Challenge 9.

But Sims would fall once again down in the loss lane with two more loses dock on his loss column against Antoni Hardonk Submission (Keylock) and against Tim Sylvia via TKO (Punches).

Sims would step back and get his head right after suffering two loses and would go on a four fight win streak (With a draw along the way against Daniel Gracie…He would get those four wins over fellow competitors Shane Lightle, Dustin Sutton, Junpei Hamada and Buddy Butler.

Wes Sims would than go onto face Daniel Gracie once again to make up for their draw in their first bout… Sims would not be successful in this bout as Gracie would pick up the win via Technical Submission (Rear Naked Choke).

After that lost Sims would muster up another win streak with seven wins in a row… Sims would get those wins over Paul Bowers, Jabari Hawthorne, Robert Hogan, Kimo Leopoldo, Anton Cano, Albert Palmer and William Jaggers.

In his next bout (Wes Sims) would go on with a No Contest against Van Palacio and then would lose against Chris Guillen via Decision (Unanimous).

Sims looked to brush those to bouts aside and would win in his next bout via TKO over Daniel Long.

Wes Sims would meet up again with Chris Guillen and would suffer another loss with a TKO (Corner Stoppage)…He (Sims) would suffer two more loses against Travis Fulton via Decision (Unanimous) and a loss by Submission (Ankle Lock) by the hands of Steve Bosse.

Brushing those three loses off his shoulder he would match those loses with three wins over William Clifford Submission (Guillotine Choke), Clifford Coon (Submission), and Jason DeAngelo via KO.

Now with three wins under his belt going into the house Sims looks to re-enter the UFC and make it a successful one this time.

ABE WAGNER (6-2-0):

Abe Wagner looks to make his TUF experience a good one and hopefully gets his shot at a UFC contract by being the next Ultimate Fighter.

Wagner made his debut on 01/06/06 against Matt Justice at AFC 5 with a win (N/A).

He would look to fight again on 06/30/06 and add another win to his record but would not be successful in his second bout…Wagner would lose to Sunia Filikitonga via TKO 11 seconds into round two.

Wagner would go for 2-1 in his next 3 bout with two wins over Nick Rogers (KO), Joel Traves (TKO) and a loss by Chris Blaire via Submission (Armbar).

His lose against Blaire would be his last as he went on a three fight win streak against Steve Pilkington via Submission (Armbar), Matt Anderson (TKO), and Sherman Pendergarst via Decision (Split).

Abe Wagner looks to take his three fight win streak into the TUF house and continue to win all the way to a UFC contract.

JUSTIN WREN (6-1-0):

Justin Wren weighs in at 264 and loves to use all that force into his punches as 83.33 of his wins are by (T) KO’s…Ouch.

Wren made his MMA debut against Ronald Stackhouse with a TKO win at MOTC 7… Wren would capitalize on that first win and would roll onto beat Brian Ewers via TKO and Justin Howard via TKO (Punches).

Wren would suffer his first loss though in his next bout at the hands of Matt Thompson via TKO.

Justin Wren would come back after that loss to put together another three fight win streak with two wins by TKO and one by Submission… Wren would score those wins over Tony Guined (Submission), Ralph Kelly via TKO (Corner Stoppage), and a TKO victory over Chris Guillen.

Can Justin Wren add up his (T) KO percentage while competing on The Ultimate Fighter?

MIKE WESSEL (6-1-0):

Mike Wessel didn’t waste time to put together a fighting win streak as he would go on a six fight tear in till his most recent bout against Antoni Hardonk.

Wessel would debut against Matt Thomas on 10/27/07 at AOW—Art of War 4 which he would win by KO… He would meet Thomas once again in his second fight and would win once again via TKO.

He would go onto get his second TKO on his fight record over Mark Bier… Feeling really comfortable with his fighting efforts he would go on to win three fights in a row against Patrick Castillo Decision (Split), Rudy Lindsey (Decision), and Aaron Winterlee (Submission).

With six fights in a row under his belt he caught the attention of the UFC and would get his shot to have success in the octagon… Wren would make his UFC debut against Antoni Hardonk but would lose at UFC 92—The Ultimate 2008 via TKO (Punches).

Now Wessel has a second chance to make his name in the UFC by competing on this seasons The Ultimate Fighter.

KEVIN FERGUSON AKA KIMBO SLICE (3-1-0):

Kimbo Slice seems to be the main attraction to this season The Ultimate Fighter as many questions arise from his name when questioned about TUF.

There are two types of fans that will be tuning in when it comes to Kimbo on one side it will be the people who want to see Slice succeed to see Mr. Dana White eat his words and look shameful… Now on the other side are the people who simple want to see Kimbo Slice exposed once again and prove that Kimbo has no place in MMA.

Like everyone knows by now Kimbo made his name on the world of Youtube.com by airing his back yard brawls for a cash prize.

Kimbo was unstoppable when it came to straight up street fight brawling but a question arose of could Kimbo Slice succeed in the world of MMA.

Due to his popularity Elite XC signed the Internet sensation immediately as they figured Kimbo = Ratings which it did as Elite XC still has the record for the most ratings for a prime time MMA show.

Kimbo would make his MMA & EXC debut against Bo Cantrell at EXC—Renegade on 11/10/07 via Submission (Punches) with 19 seconds into round 1.

He would go onto face former UFC veteran Tank Abbott at Elite XC—Street Certified with another win via KO (Punches).

After that win true MMA fighters and fans started to question the lack of competition being thrown at Kimbo and question if he could really hang in MMA.

So Elite XC required James Thompson but the fight would still leave open question as Kimbo won by TKO (Punches) as Kimbo ruptured Thompson’s mega cauliflower ear.

So Elite XC set up another fight for Kimbo at Elite XC—Heat with another UFC veteran Ken Shamrock…But the fight would be slashed as Ken Shamrock was cut above his eye while sparing to prepare for his fight with Slice.

Shamrock would then be replaced last minute by past competitor on the original TUF Seth Petruzelli… Seth would take this opportunity to stun Kimbo and the world of MMA by beating Slice with a TKO (Punches).

After this event Elite XC would come to an abrupt close and left Kimbo’s career in question… It would look like Slice would move onto Strikeforce with fellow EXC competitors but then there were rumors of Kimbo maybe even boxing but the big swerve would come full circle.

Dana White Stated the only way Kimbo would enter the UFC is if he would compete and win on The Ultimate Fighter… So Kimbo Slice stepped up to the challenge and will compete on this seasons TUF.

Now will Kimbo be successful and make Dana eat a big helping of crow? Or will Kimbo be shot down once again and expose his fighting skills are not right for MMA?

The Ultimate Fighter 10: Meet the Heavyweights Part One

If you are not hyped for this upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 something must be wrong with you.

This season seems to have it all and not only that UFC is stacking up their heavyweight division to new heights and making it even stronger.

TUF 10 should and could go down in the history books as one of the greatest seasons yet.

Not only do we get to see Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans bark it out we get to see some possible interesting heavyweight match ups between this season’s cast members.

Okay so we all know about the brewing feud between Evans & Jackson but we are going to skip them at this current moment and focus on this season’s full of potential cast.

With the Ultimate Fighter Season 10 peaking just around the corner with a premier date of Sept. 16 it is time to take a look at (to some) an unfamiliar cast.

MEET THE HEAVYWEIGHTS

ZAK JENSEN (7-3-0)

Zak Jensen made is MMA debut on Aug. 2, '07 were he was successful as he defeated Justin Cox via Submission (Guillotine Choke) at EFX-Myth in Maplewood.

He would continue to with his submission trend and would go on to meet and eventually beat Calvin Wittner.

Jensen would go onto try and make a nice 3-0 start in his MMA career but would hit a road block when he met Season Two TUF cast member Brad Imes. Jensen would be defeated by Brad Imes via Submission (Gogoplata).

Jensen would eventually brush that loss off his shoulders and would look ahead to get back on track to his old win ways.

Jensen would look to switch up his win tactic by beating Mike Radnov via TKO (Corner Stoppage).

Being more comfortable with his stand up Jensen would win by TKO once again against fellow competitor Chris Clark.

But his winning ways would hit a road bump once again as past cast members of TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) seem to be his kryptonite.

Mike Whitehead would add a second loss to Jensen’s record with a submission (Armbar). But like a true competitor he would bounce back once again and win once again by submission against Heath Roth (Man he love’s making people tap).

After this fight he would compete in three more fights two wins by KO over Mike Linger & Matt Hirsch (Punches) and a loss by Ryan Kotzea via TKO (Punches).

With his submission skills and a good stand up game It looks like Jensen should have a nice ride on this season of TUF 10.

MARCUS JONES (4-1-0)

Marcus Jones set foot in a pair of football cleats before he even thought of setting foot in the UFC octagon.

Jones played college ball for the University of North Carolina and would end up being the first pick in the ’96 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers...He would play all seven years of his NFL career for the Buccaneers.

After his career ended Jones turned his attention to the world of MMA as he was an active fan...Although there were many doubters Jones set that aside and wanted to prove the doubters that football players can become successful MMA stars as well.

He was set to face Will Mora for his first bout in the MMA world Oct. 26, '07 at WFC 5. Jones would make his MMA debut against Mora a successful one as he won via submission (kimura).

Marcus Jones went on to prove that he was right for the MMA world as he defeated Eduardo Boza via TKO.

But like every fighter he would go onto hit a road block as he would have to swallow his first loss via KO against Daniel Perez.

This would not hold Jones back as his next two wins were by TKO (Punches) over Mike Ottman & John Juarez.

To some, Marcus Jones seems to be the pre-show favorite to this season of The Ultimate Fighter. Will he be able to extend his dominance in the octagon? We will just have to wait and see.

SCOTT JUNK (6-2-1)

Standing at 6’1" and weighing at 265, Junk looks to make this TUF run an impressive one.

Junk started off his MMA career with a disappointing loss to past competitor Ricco Rodriguez via submission (front choke).

Although this may have stung Scott Junk did not let this loss derail his mind off track to a successful career in MMA.

He looked to start off again with a win in his next matchup with Vilatonu Fonokalaifi with an impressive TKO (punches and elbows) win.

Junk would continue to make an impressive run with five fights win streak after his first win over the likes of Hideki Tadao, Corey Salter, John George, Dominic Richard, Jimmy Ambritz.

But the winning streak would come to disappointing stop as he had his shot to make a statement in the UFC octagon...Christian Wellisch would derail Junk’s plans on making a home out of UFC as he would beat Junk via submission (heel hook).

Junk would look to rebound from this loss but would go onto a draw with Lolohea Mahe.

Now Scott Junk as a second chance to make another run at the UFC will this time be a successful one we will see.

JON MADSEN (1-0-0)

Jon Madsen is somewhat of a rookie if you would say...Well actually he is a rookie with only one fight under his belt.

But Madsen is here to prove on this season’s The Ultimate Fighter that he is a force to be reckoned with.

Madsen made his MMA debut Aug. 16, '08 at TCI- Shock Wave with a win over Ryan Kotzea with method of win disclosed.

With over a year without a another fight and only one fight under his belt at that would this make Madsen easy pickings for the veterans?

JAMES MCSWEENEY (3-4-0)

James McSweeney is looking to make a statement this season by knocking out the competition...literally.

James [t1] [t2] McSweeney has a proven record of being dangerous on the feet as all three of his win were by T(KO).

He would start off with his KO ways by demonstrating on Mark Buchanan with a win by TKO (punches).

McSweeney would go on a two fight losing streak with a submission loss against Robert Paczkow and a TKO (punches) loss against Mustapha al Turk.

James McSweeney would look to make an epic rebound by beating Chris Cooper via TKO and Roman Webber KO (knee).

But James would once again be knocked off winning lane as he would suffer two loses.

Neil Grove would give McSweeney a dose of his own mediation with a TKO and Ricardo Romero would win with an impressive submission (rear-naked choke).

McSweeney is leaving those last two losing fights on the back burner and is hoping to make a impressive streak into the UFC by winning TUF 10.

MATT MITRIONE (0-0-0)

Being brand new to the MMA world, Mitrione looks to make this season of TUF 10 a great experience.

ROY NELSON (13-4-0)

Roy Nelson is looking to make The Ultimate Fighter season 10 the starting point to a bright future in the UFC.

Roy Nelson looking to be the most experience and most credentialed being the former IFL Heavyweight champion is looking to be the winner of this season.

Nelson would go on an impressive roll of a winning streak by defeating fellow opponents Bo Cantrell, Jerry Vrbanovic, Ray Seraille, Michael Buchkovich, Jason Godsey, and Jerome Smith.

He would hit a bump in the road with a loss to Josh Curran via Decision (unanimous).

Nelson would go on a two peat with two wins by TKO (punches) over Vince Lucero & Mario Rinaldi.

Hitting another bump in the road and that bump being a big one Nelson would lose to Ben Rothwell via Decision (split).

Roy Nelson would go on another winning with five wins in a row...He would defeat the likes of Shane Ott, Bryan Vetell, Antoine Jaoude, Fabiano Scherner, and runner up in TUF season two Brad Imes.

Nelson would have two hard loses against two former dominant UFC Heavyweights Andrei Arlovski via KO (punches) & Jeff Monson via Decision (unanimous).

Will Roy be able to force his way into the UFC by being the next Ultimate Fighter?

When All Else Fails, Appreciate the Greatness Displayed in the Ring

A lot of work goes into wrestling; wrestlers have to go through a lot of work to reach a certain high point to be successful in the pro wrestling world.

The wrestlers who push themselves further and connect with the fans the best are the ones who are highly rewarded for their hard work.

Well, sometimes that statement can be false, as some fans have not seen or never saw their favorite star reach the status they were supposed to achieve.

But even if a superstar never reaches that high point at the end of the day, they know they are satisfying fans everywhere with the results they distribute from their hard work.

If it wasn’t for certain factors, a lot of fans would probably tune out of the sometimes dazing pro wrestling world. Because at the end of the day, we can always (sometimes) can enjoy a well put on match.

Wrestling is a awesome entertainment outlet (once again sometimes)…To see a wrestler perform and perfect moves that a ton of people can only dream of doing is simply amazing and lures you in to stay focused on the program.

This factor is highly one of the reasons fans come back to watch as they appreciate the fantastic effort show cased.

If that factor was nonexistent all hope in pro wrestling would be lost; there would be no point in watching the product one bit.

So if you get frustrated with product on occasion, which is bound to happen, just remember and appreciate the graceful abilities processed in the square circle.

This is why I have decided to take a look at a few matches that displayed some of the greatest in ring moments in pro wrestling history or simply had fans in amazement.

STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN vs. BRET “THE HITMAN” HART

The Austin vs. Hart feud could go down in history as one of the greatest feuds in pro wrestling history.

After numerous times of taunting and challenging Hart; Austin would finally get his chance to go to battle with one of WWF’s prime time talents.

This would be Austin’s chance to boost his popularity even further after his ’96 King of the Ring win.

Hart and Austin would have a slew of great matches but none of them could compare to their epic Wrestlemania 13 submission match.

This is was a very physical match that basically took place throughout the arena as the two were in a dog fight.

Even special guest referee Ken Shamrock couldn’t contain this massive explosion of a match.

What made the match even more alluring were the bloodied Austin and his no quit effort.

Austin and Hart truly gave their all in this match and it showed in the end result…The match was so good you did not want it to end, but like all great things it had to end…But this ending was one of the greatest as there was no clear winner.

Bret Hart locked up an impressive sharpshooter that seemed to make Austin submit but Austin being Austin did not quit but ultimately passed out due to the lost of blood.

This match was a highly intense match full of action and pain that made fans love wrestling even more.

SHAWN MICHAELS vs. UNDERTAKER

Do I really need to say anything else besides those two names to let you know what I am talking about?

No… To be honest if this match would had not been on Wrestlemania 25, it would have been an ultimate fail.

This match made this year’s biggest pro wrestling event even bigger and even set a higher standard for wrestlers to perform at a even higher level.

To fray away real quick I honestly wonder if Cena, Triple H, or Orton wanted to perform after seeing that extremely mega epic match.

Everyone knew that the Undertaker vs. Michaels match was the true main event.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels had it all…Once you thought the match would come to a disappointing end we (fans) were shocked again to see that the epic match will continue.

Although in the back of all of our minds that Undertaker would win the match to continue is dominant Wrestlemania winning streak but for that moment all that was blurred out and we could almost see the thought of Michaels beating Undertaker at WM.

Those two created pure magic in the ring and had fans at a high point which they did not want to come down from.

These two proved that they could still hang and compete at a high level and was showing the younger talent how it’s truly done.

CM PUNK vs. JEFF HARDY

If it wasn’t for this feud I probably would had never tuned in to Smackdown to witness the instant classic cage match they put on.

Any other Friday I would had been out or simply been watching something else, but on this certain Friday something told me to tune in to Smackdown.

Which I am very glad I did as they put on an impressive match especially days after they put on a grueling TLC match.

This feud was a good feud and made me like CM Punk and Hardy just a little and I mean little bit more.

Even if you’re not so high on either one of these two, you have to put your hands together for their talents.

This match was a perfect way to wave goodbye to the “Charismatic Enigma.”

This match actually got me to tune into the next Monday Night Raw to see what it would have in place to top that cage match but it was pointless as I tuned out soon after (laughs).

Now those were just a few matches that I decided to point out; there are many more but I don’t want to turn this into a big list.

The point of this is: maybe WWE and other promotions like TNA should shy away some of the dumb tactics they put on that actually don’t generate attention.

If pro wrestling actually displayed more wrestling and more action and grab attention of more fans we could see another high point in wrestling.

For example Chavo Vs. Hornswoggle seriously…How you expect people to take the product more seriously and keep on tuning in if your placing this on TV?

All the fans want to see is great entertaining television and like the few matches up above that is what entertaining is to me and others.

WWE & TNA have a crop of talent that could put on these epic matches but have them at a standstill, as they feel the only way to generate attention is put on these dumb promos, but they are wrong.

So until the major promotions learn, just remember why you fell in love with the sports & entertainment world and appreciate the greatness displayed in the ring.

Pro Wrestling's Deep Dark Secret Being Brought to the Light

Wrestling is loved around the world by pro wrestling fans everywhere but there is a dark secret that likes to be hidden in the dark shadows…That dark secret being non-other than the health, drug, and eventually death problems that occur due to wrestling.

Although pro wrestling is pre-determined and fake; it gets as real as it gets when it comes to the alarming rate of deaths of pro wrestlers.

You have to give some respect to these guys they almost take up all 365 days of the year…There are no breaks in pro wrestling; unlike NBA, MLB, and NFL wrestling has no off-season.

Not taking away anything from those top three sports, because I love all three, but wrestlers work hard; they travel non-stop without seeing their families for a period of time…They work house shows, TV events and even attend fan events. All these things can lead to a ton of stress and can take effect on their body.

On top of the stress comes a high deal of pain throughout a wrestler’s career of performing high risk maneuvers and being slammed on a mat on a daily basis.

But wrestlers decide to push the pain aside and go out there and perform to their highest abilities to entertain fans around the world.

But is risking your life worth it?

No…But it is great that they go out there and give their all to do what they love and to excite fans everywhere.

There is no doubt that wrestling takes effect on one’s body…The real matter is how the wrestler decides to handle the situation.

Some go down a certain path; that path being taking the right steps to take care of their body and not fall into addiction…While the others go down addiction lane to the aggravating pain their body suffers on a daily basis…To some it’s too much to bare.

All these problems in wrestling:

· Stress

· Traveling non-stop

· Living without their loved ones

· Pain

· Career-threatening accidents

All of these points lead to numerous incidents that can end with dramatic fashion.

So let’s take a deeper look into these discrepancies in wrestling…

ACCIDENTS IN WRESTLING

Wrestlers have a hard career to live by…Like stated above they have a lot of things that lead to overall stress…But one that is on the mind of every wrestler before they perform is whether they make it out of the match with no tragic incidents.

With high intensity with almost every match taking place a tragic incident can happen at every given moment.

Over the years, many wrestlers have fallen due to an accident in the ring.

For example:

During a Smackdown ’99 bout between D-Lo Brown and Droz, the former Denver Bronco (Droz) suffered a fatal injury that left him paralyzed.

The two were in an aggressive match when D-Lo Brown set up a running power bomb when he slipped on a wet spot on the mat…This ended up leading to Droz landing on the mat incorrectly which eventually led him with two fractured discs in his neck this left him paralyzed from the neck down.

It doesn’t just stop there as we continue to one of wrestling’s most recognized tragic incidents:

At In Your House: Over the Edge PPV ’99 Owen was suited up as the Blue Blazer who was suppose to zip line from the rafters to the ring when something went wrong with the cords…Owen tumbled down to the ring where his chest would meet first with the turn buckle. Owen was rushed to the hospital while the fans speculated what had occurred; at the hospital Owen Hart was officially pronounced dead.

Although the Owen Hart incident was suppose to be a dazzling stunt before the match, it still shows that even pre-planned arrangements can go wrong.

Wrestlers know before the match who will win how they’ll win and what maneuvers to perform but this doesn’t mean it will all end accurately as planned.

This makes wrestling just as dangerous as other sporting events.

Although accidents are one of the biggest worries there are others that follow…If a wrestler does live through the incident safe but still has few effects left over still has to deal with complicated decisions…Some turn to numerous treatments to repair while others go conclude that drugs are the answer.

ADDICTION IN WRESTLING

Wrestling is a painful event; even the ones who don’t enjoy the sports/entertainment field could agree with that…Well they should.

Performing mostly every day for the next match can take a big chunk of energy from a wrestler’s body.

A wrestler has to prepare before every match to make sure they have down on point otherwise it will end up sloppy and poorly demonstrated.

In every sport after a big event or practice an athlete starts to feel the pain. This leads to decisions on what they should do…Either do physical therapy or take the drug route or even both. Depending on how they utilize the drug is the key factor.

Some wrestlers pain is so unbearable in so indescribable that one would have to jump into their shoes to feel their pain.

This pain can live with a wrestler for the rest of their and can affect the way the go throughout their daily routines.

So some turn to certain drugs to numb out the pain and be able to live their lives pain free.

But everyone knows drugs can lead to serious problems:

· High blood pressure

· Overgrown heart/hear problems

· Damaging of liver and kidneys

This can ultimately lead to death as well and the wrestlers who survived their drug demons know it.

Shane Douglas sat down with Between the Ropes radio show to speak on his demons and how thankful he is that he was able to walk away from his addiction and wrestling career well:

"I'm thrilled to say that I that I was able stand up against it... It took me five years to do it.”

"To finally be able to do it and walk away from it and put it behind me...as far as my professional career goes, to me it's the crowning achievement of my career that I didn't let it kill me and I didn't let it put me down and be a permanent mark on me."

Some are not so lucky to be able to walk away from the damaging effects of drugs.

EFFECTS LEADING TO DEATH

On Nov. 13, 2005, Eddie Guerrero was set to battle for the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton and Batista in a Smackdown televised event that would air on November 18^th, 2005…But Eddie would not end up making it to the event as he was found dead by his nephew Chavo Guerrero in his hotel room.

Chavo attempted to do CPR but it was too late as Eddie Guerrero had already passed…The cause of death was later pronounced to be heart failure arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

This was mainly due to Eddie’s past drug addiction although he was able to beat his demons the damage had already been done…Eddie had stated at peak physical fitness by weight lifting and doing cardiovascular training every day.

This added more damage to the heart as it put more pressure on the heart.

Eddie Guerrero is just one name on a long list that has passed:

· Chris Benoit

· Chris Candido

· Chris & Mike Von Erich

· Jay Youngblood

· Crash Holly

· Andrew “Test” Martin

· Owen Hart

· Brian Pillman

· Yokozuna

· The Big Boss Man

· Mike Awesome

And the list goes even further…Drugs are not the only thing to blame as there are numerous factors wrestlers have passed.

Having a long established career can cause some permanent damage on a wrestler when it comes time to retire. From the injuries they had suffered and went through can lead to death at an older age.

Some even die by their size; wrestling loves big sized wrestler well Vince McMahon sure does…But having them perform on a high level day in and day out can take effect on their bodies…Their weight moving at a fast pace can make their heart rate climb will add damaging effects.

But some get so lost in their own world that they end up taking their own life. No one really knows the true story as we were not there to witness it but whatever was going through Beniot mind had to been very disturbing.

Was Chris Benoit incident due to wrestling and prescribed drugs?

After high risk maneuvers throughout his career and landing on his head (diving head butt) which led to serious head trauma and mixture of three drugs Xanax, hydrocodone and hydromorphone it would look like so.

On the three drugs it was noted after his examination Benoit was said to have a high level of testosterone in his system due to a synthetic hormone.

With this they continued examination with Benoit’s brain where they found that his brain was so severely damaged it resembled a brain of an 85-year-old patient with Alzheimer’s. This was said to be the reason of his actions with the dosage of the three drugs as well.

Now after this tragic incident and others WWE decided to boost up their wellness policy…But is it enough?

WWE has would say so with tons of suspensions of wrestlers who were linked with drugs…WWE is currently under investigation due to Beniot’s examination results were it showed a decent amount of evidence of past steroid abuse.

But should the WWE take more steps to prevent further deaths or more damage to wrestler’s bodies.

REVISING THE WELLNESS PROGRAM AND OTHER FACTORS IN WRESTLING THAT CAN LEAD TO HEALTH RISK

Now WWE is the flagship leader in the pro wrestling world so most organizations follow by example to lead to a successful path.

So WWE should make further precautions to clean up the image in the media eye.

Now WWE boosted up their regular test were some will be randomly tested basically 6-10 times a year for some.

But they should take it further by making it automatic 10 test for ALL wrestlers not just random picks and make sure they are not over doing prescribed pills…While receiving prescribed pills I think WWE should be informed of what the drug is and the daily dose the performer is suppose to take.

I say this because I highly doubt every wrestler is tested the same amount as others possibly due to playing favorites...Every wrestler should have to go through equal procedures.

Now with that aside wrestlers should also have a guaranteed break point in their contract and not just for the veterans…Everyone gets wear and tear from the pro wrestling life and receives damaging effects & stress.

Recently has also reached out to former wrestlers who may need help with doctor bills due to problems they suffered from their wrestling career…They should also reach out to former WCW & ECW wrestlers as well as they do own those rights now or even have Time Warner step up and help former WCW stars as well.

Wrestlers should receive normal treatments to make sure there are no damaging effects on their brain or body.

Not saying WWE is not doing the right thing because they are but there should be minor tweaks to prevent these deadly transactions in pro wrestling.

Are We Witnessing the Beginning of the End of Pro Wrestling?

Former WWE star Bob Holly sat down with InsidePulse.com to go through a variety of topics but only one thing really caught my eye which I will discuss: But if you want to see the hot topics in the interview, click here.

Bob “Hardcore” Holly recently made a statement about the future of the WWE, which might raise a few eyebrows:

"Yeah, there’s nobody there who has the dedication, the focus, the ability to tell a story ...at least not at the level that they need to move into the upper level. Even if they did, they’d still have to deal with the current group of guys at the top anyway and I don’t see them moving for a while.

"John Morrison, for example, he’s good, but it’s too early. He’s stuck at a level and he’s good where he is but he needs to focus and learn from the older guys to really click at the top level.”

Is Holly’s statement true? Not just for the WWE roster but for pro wrestling as a whole?

Okay sure there will never be another Hogan, Rock, or an Austin again but to say that there is no future is a big statement. This comment might set some fires under some of the young talent if not all.

After reading and breaking down the comment I decided to think outside the box: Instead of just picking on just WWE, I took a deeper look at TNA’s inspiring talent as well.

TNA has a slew of names that catches a fans' eyes and overall interest. With names like AJ Styles, Robert Roode, Samoa Joe, MCMG, and the list goes on…But there is one problem with that TNA does not know how to utilize them correctly.

TNA is not alone as I jump back to WWE…I agree and disagree with Bob Holly’s statement…Let me explain.

I disagree with Holly as WWE has few names that can keep WWE’s future bright, but it seems WWE’s recent pushes have failed-well the recent face pushes (Mark Henry, MVP and don’t know about Benjamin just yet).

Now I agree with Holly as stated: above some of the pushes have failed…So will this trend continue?

As fans, we would hope not, otherwise we would be watching the same people dominating show after show.

This would lead to numerous of things us fans don’t want: Stale storylines, feuds, and stale characters overall.

Are we seeing the beginning stages of pro wrestling’s own “2012?”

According to the ancient Maya calendar the world will come to an abrupt end on Dec. 22, 2012.

Not to go into religion, but in the Bible it says we will see major signs before the world ends…Many believe those signs have already started.

Now to jump back to the main topic, I have a question to ask: Are we seeing minor signs of the beginning of the end of the pro wrestling world:

Decline in popularity
Decline in ratings
Stale storylines
Lack of pushed talent
And finally fans being frustrated with the overall product

All these things popped up in my head just from Bob “Hardcore” Holly’s statement…But this has been running through a ton of fans minds as of late: with fans seeming to have a dislike in the product of late.

Many have lost their passion for the sports/entertainment world. Can & will things change? If so when?

I believe so, as wrestling has always found away to adjust to times and right now is a time for wrestling to adjust once again.

You need to have fresh talent to transition once the veterans time pass.

These happenings concerns me as TNA looks like they are in a world of hurt already, with MEM, Sting, and Foley still breezing at top of the roster with no young talent really breaking through.

With veterans at the top of the food chain, still there is a lack of movement for the younger generation.

Although TNA’s overall ratings keep improving/growing everyone knows it can’t last especially if these bad habits continue. So can they push the younger talent when the veterans move out of the way?

Well if they move out of the way…As TNA has depended on already established talent from almost the beginning of the company.

But to go back and take a look at WWE they seem to have a campaign for building the younger talent but will see if it works…Which it should as WWE always had the ability to create new talent…Which is a hard task.

Hopefully the two major companies handle the pushing talent problem and other things that need to be addressed as well.

If not we may see two more cases of the WCW syndrome.

This is highly doubtable, but there needs to be a cleanup of this overall wackiness going on in the pro wrestling world to keep fan's attention.

UFC 101: Breaking Down Silva vs Griffin

Every champion always has a struggle getting to the top but every champion knows once you get to the top that the struggle has only begun.

Not only do champions have to defend their rightfully earned titles but they have to go in and prove that they are the best at what they do.

But after a while, although the champion frequently defends their title, going in and coming out with the belt depending on their overall performance, they can still receive harsh criticism.

Anderson “The Spider” Silva knows all about the critics and not living up to an excellent performance.

Upon his epic debut where he laid a massive beating on Chris Leben, fans who knew of him, and those who didn’t, knew that this guy (Silva) was here to make a statement.

So why is Anderson Silva continuously being criticized although he continues to win and hold on to his belt?

With his latest victories over: Dan Henderson, James Irvin, Patrick Cote, and Thales Leites you would think he would be far away from discussion of not putting up his best effort.

Well he has, as in his two last fights (Cote and Leites) he did not show case his ultimate skills. Many feel with his well-rounded and phenomenal striking skills that “The Spider” can devour his prey at any giving moment.

If you go back and watch those fights there are a lot of points in each fight where Silva could have ended the fight early, grab his belt, and go and celebrate early. But no, it looked as if he hesitates to do so.

But no worries, UFC has put together a massive plan were Silva has to bring his “A” game or go home with a fifth loss on his record.

That plan is called Forrest Griffin, and if you think about it this fight makes perfect sense. Matter of fact, you don’t even have to think about it when you hear that these two are going to fight; your mind is just in a daze thinking how this epic brawl will go down.

If anyone can bring out the true fighter in Silva it is Griffin. If Silva does not show up with his dominant self then he will lose.

Every fight Griffin has been in that I watched has been awesome, so just picture how this fight will play out. Let me just put it like this: Silva v. Griffin has more interest from me than all of UFC 100.

Yes, that is how big this fight is.

Furthermore, Griffin is a brawler/fighter and not only can he stand and bang, he can also showcase his ground game at any given moment.

Two of Silva's four losses were due to submission (triangle choke & flying scissors hook), so if things play out in Griffin’s favor, he may be able to come out with an epic victory to get him back in title contention.

Griffin has also grown as a fighter. Although we love and enjoy him just coming out brawling, he has also delivered a more planned-out strategy where he picks his opponents apart.

I am a huge Rampage Jackson fan but I will admit Griffin’s best showing of picking an opponent apart was against Jackson.

Throughout the fight I sat and cringed, as you can see Jackson being taken out of his realm and his very own game plan.

Griffin’s style is a style that simple just pesters fighters and frustrates them to the point that they fall out of their plan and ultimately lose.

Could this happen to Silva?

Yes, it very well could. This is not Griffin’s first time being picked as the underdog.

People did not expect him (Griffin) to be victorious over Mauricio Rua.

Griffin did the same thing he did to Rampage when he pestered Rua taking him out of his game plan.

But knowing Silva, who wants to be a dominate force and be the top fighter, I doubt he will let this fight go down like that.

Silva is hard at work diligently training for the epic bout with Griffin in Los Angeles, CA. at Team Black House.

But Silva is not alone as he is training with the likes of: Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogerueira, Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante, and Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante.

Now with high hopes for this fight and have a great feeling “The Spider” will bring his best effort I see the fight playing out like this:

BREAKDOWN OF SILVA V. GRIFFIN

Round One: Both fighters will come out feeling out their opponent, especially Griffin. Silva is an excellent striker and can stomp his prey at any given moment.

After getting a feel, Griffin will start to pepper “The Spider” and start to play out his game plan.

Griffin will continue to throw nice leg kicks and jabs to derail the almighty Silva.

But Silva's game face will stay straight, not showing frustration and will start to throw his weapons.

It will start to become a game of cat and mouse as Griffin will give respect to Silva’s striking ability.

The round will end with a great deal of nice stand-up game showcased by both fighters.

Round Two: Silva will come out more aggressive this round knowing what to expect from Griffin as his strikes may not have bothered him.

Griffin will start to feel the heat of Silva’s deadly strikes and try and take the fight to the ground.

After a few failed attempts of taking Silva down, he will finally get him down, but will not progress on his position to cause any damage to Silva.

Silva will get the fight back upright and will end the round dominating on the feet.

Round Three: Silva comes out more aggressive, but Griffin throws some excellent strikes as well.

Griffin stays cautious as Silva placed some damage on Griffin in round two.

Silva smells blood in the water like a shark and can sense Griffin is hurt, so he pounces and finishes the fight off with TKO.

Overall prediction: Silva by TKO 3:30 into Round Three.

TNA Wrestling: Are They Bound For Glory or Bound For a Epic Downfall?

For one to succeed, they must fall and get back up and try again. After riding on the road to success with no bumps along the way you will soon find out that the smooth ride does not last forever.

When that bump in the road hits and you feel the almighty impact of the crash, you must muscle up all strength get up and brush your shoulders off and lick your wounds.

After numerous hours of rehab and reconditioning and getting everything back in shape to make an glorious comeback, you have to pre-plan so the next time you hit the bump in the road you will be able to handle the crash.

In life, everyone has to go through a struggle; it’s the way of life. It’s inevitable to stop or predict when that struggle comes but how you handle that struggle is the big question and key to success.

Knowing how to handle a situation can help you in all aspects of life. Especially if you had so many struggles to go up against. Okay, it might sting at first but knowing how to handle the situation and getting yourself through the pain and rebuilding the correct way can lead you on the right path.

Some know how to use this tool and utilize it well…But after this huge TNA debacle (Karen-Kurt-Jeff love-hate triangle) I wonder to myself can they stay afloat and survive?

Right now, there are no accurate signs of downfall yet, but is this the start to TNA’s epic fall?

Dixie Carter doesn’t think so; she has her Vince McMahon swagger on and clearing house of all subjects that don’t belong and ultimately are not the pieces to the puzzle for glory.

Some believe the current firings are to show Jeff Jarrett that the power has shifted as the current firings are part of Jarrett’s circle: TNA Creative team member Dutch Mantel and TNA Agent Savio Vega have been released as of July 31.

As noted above, the two recent TNA releases were close to Jarrett and in his inner circle.

So that action leads me to this is Carter sending a direct message to Jarrett that things are changing and by her terms?

To me that what it would seem especially since Jarrett had to leave TV due to the makings of the whole Kurt-Jeff-Karen situation.

Now some thought that this was all a set up to add more fuel to the fire of the Angle-Jarrett feud.

But why would this result in two actual firings of Jeff’s inner circle?

Because like I stated, Dixie is sending a message and that message is it’s time for change.

When I first noticed TNA and found out that there is another company out there (back in 2002-03), I began to get excited.

I was interested to see this new fresh and what seemed to be energizing company that was on the horizon.

They had talent that no one seen before or no one really cared to notice. They also repackaged the Cruiserweight Division and switched it up. Instead of weight limits, they took it to no limits as they created the X-Division title.

But as time went by and TNA started to get more known by receiving a deal with Spike they started to follow the companies that came before them.

Instead of making their own path and creating a new landscape in the pro wrestling world they thought, “Hey if it worked once, than we can revamp it and recreate magic twice.”

Now that is sort of true as wrestling is all about recycling nothing is really new in the wrestling world when it comes to storylines or certain matches.

TNA has fans but even they find errors to criticize their beloved company.

Why?

Well there are numerous reasons:

Booking, and when I say booking, this is one of the biggest reasons people love to hate TNA.
Lack of push for talent that deserve it.
Looking more similar to WCW each and every Impact or PPV. Now what I mean by that is they decide to utilize talent that already had their run but keep trying to shove them down our throats thinking we would say, “Hey I want to tune in because I love to see these guys on top forever even though their almost 50.”
Now here comes one I personally love to hate: all these damn gimmick matches. Like seriously if you’re going to try and create a new innovative match don’t throw some lame title on the match. (I am just making up a name) For example doomsday of blood match just because you throw a lame name on something doesn’t mean I’m going to jump up and down to see the match.
It was proven at Wrestlemania 25 and tons of other events that two wrestlers (HBK vs. Undertaker) can go out there and deliver a hell of a match.

You do not need to throw a cage or blood or anything else to make a match better.

But all these problems need to be resolved as TNA has hit a minor bump and is still riding but they need to rebuild and repair before the next bump hits and leads to their down fall.

Honestly if you ask me I like Dixie Carters current direction because what Jeff and his team are doing is not working. Well it’s not working to bring me in as a fully fledged fan just yet.

To go even further about Jeff what he did (if accurate and true) is against the man code.

Come on why you do your boy Angle like that especially since Kurt and Karen are in a heated battle of custody over their kids and you top it off by letting her move in.

It’s not like she was homeless are anything I believe Kurt stated before she was living in a house that he purchased for her & the kids.

But Jeff if you ask me that was just simply low on your behalf and made TNA seem like a circus that cant tame this sort of crazy acts.

It just made TNA dysfunctional instead of Jeff staying and trying to handle the situation he goes and flees.

Well due to this it seems the ultimate power is changing hands but is it for the better or for worse?

It’s too early to tell but there seems to be more changes to come to attempt to make things better.

There is even talk of bringing in creative genius Paul Heyman.

But this may not happen, as Heyman would consider the task of rebuilding TNA if he has power beyond just writing the shows.

Which is highly doubtable they are not going to let Heyman just walk in and let him give direction on what he thinks is the right path for the company.

Especially since Heyman has some beef still brewing from former ECW Originals (Team 3D).

But to conclude, whatever TNA decides to do, I hope it’s for the better and hopefully they have the right plans to lead to glory.

The current makings of this TNA debacle is a learning lesson and ultimately can help TNA build on from this point and become better or lead them to epic fail.

Building a Dynasty: Featuring "The Icon" Sting (Part 2)

Now let me present to you (readers) Building a Dynasty: Featuring Sting Part 2.

From being spotted in the famous Gold’s Gym as a body builder to having some great matches with Ric Flair, Great Muta, and many others, Steve Borden officially transitioned into Sting.

STARDOM IN WCW

Becoming a star in the wrestling world is a hard task: it takes hard work, skill, and simply timing.

Okay for the ones that say, “Well its fake; how can it possibly be hard work in a world that it pre planned?”

Well I will tell you this all though the decision of the match is predetermined and the winner is already handpicked there is a lot of processing that goes a long with that.

Trust me not everyone is made out to be successful in this business. It depends on the gimmick, how you work the crowd, can you keep fans interested, and if you have in ring skills.

Sting stepped up to the challenge and hopped on a rocket and reached for the stars which he soon would grasp.

Sting would soon be recognized as NWA’s last champion before being transitioned into WCW.

He would not become WCW’s first World Heavyweight Champion as he met up with his nemesis Ric Flair once again.

At Starrcade ’91 Sting was set to defend his NWA World Title against “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair which he would lose the match.

WCW made the official decision to separate from NWA in early 91 and by doing so created the WCW World Heavyweight Title also a WCW Tag Team Championship.

This would make Ric Flair the first official WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

In my opinion the Ric Flair Vs Sting feud has to be one of the greatest feuds in pro wrestling history ever.

The battles these two put in every match showed how much they respect the profession they are in and the fans that love to watch them perform.

Sting couldn’t be without gold too long as he would enter the U.S. Title Tournament to crown a new champion as Lex Luger (former champ) vacated the title.

Sting would advance all the way to the Finals to meet fellow finalist “Stunning” Steve Austin to claim his right to his first U.S. Title.

Sting would soon have to turn his attention and fight for his belt against the “Dangerous Alliance.”

The Dangerous Alliance was the faction made up of the “Ravishing” Rick Rude, “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, “Stunning” Steve Austin, Larry Zbyszko, Michael Hayes, Medusa, and run by Paul E. Dangerously.

The purpose of the group was to destroy the WCW Company that had fired the former commentator (Paul Heyman) that was said to be too outspoken and controversial.

The Dangerous Alliance would attack Sting and would eventually lead to a one-on-one feud with The Dangerous Alliance’s main star, Rick Rude, to go toe to toe with Sting.

The Dangerous Alliance targeted Sting as he was the company's franchise star at the time, according to Paul, so he had to destroy him.

Sting would meet Rude at Clash of the Champions XVII or so we thought.

Earlier in the show Sting was attacked by former friend Luger after being distracted by Medusa. Luger clipped Sting in the knee and caused more damage by bashing his knee on the runway.

This would lead Sting going to the hospital.

Paul E. Dangerously looked up a loophole that if Sting did not show, he would have no choice but to forfeit the title.

But Sting being the main face of the WCW brand would not let the fans down, as he made a triumphant return to defend his belt.

Although it was a heroic moment, it didn’t last long as Rick Rude beat Sting to win the United States Title.

Sting would go on to beat ex-friend and now foe Lex Luger to claim his first WCW World Heavyweight Title.

But his heated battle with The Dangerous Alliance was not done just yet.

The feud would continue and would end with an epic War Games match at Wrestle War ’92.

The team of Sting, Steamboat, Dustin Rhodes, Barry Windham and Nikita Koloff defeated the Dangerous Alliance (Rude, Austin, Anderson, Eaton, and Zbyszko) this would put a end to an awesome feud.

After Sting won the belt and ended an awesome feud with the Dangerous Alliance Sting knew his time to shine had come.

But Sting would not be able to rest yet as he was set to feud with Big Van Vader.

STING Vs VADER

I remember one boring day when I was 12 or so I decided to go to the rental store and see what wrestling videos were available.

I browsed and browsed, but none really caught my eye until I glanced upon The Great American Bash ’92 VHS. I was excited as I had a DVD/VHS player so I decided to rent the video along with a few others.

Some of the matches were interesting, but some I just fast forwarded through and was kind of regretting my decision on renting the video. But finally I got to the Sting vs. Vader match and it became well worth it.

The pummeling and pounding Sting was receiving was intense, but what made it better was when it seemed it looked like the Stinger would make a comeback but he would get knocked right back down.

This epic battle that lasted over a year started at The Great American Bash ’92.

Vader’s size proved to be too much for the lighter champ to handle.

Sting seemed to have control of the match in till he missed a key Stinger Splash and hit his head on the steel ring post.

Vader used Sting’s error as a key to victory as he finished off the champ with a cryptic power bomb.

Sting was left in pain without his coveted WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

Before Sting could have a chance to seek revenge on his new foe, Vader, he had to go through two hardcore obstacles.

Those would be Cactus Jack in a Falls Count Anywhere match at Beach Blast & Jake Roberts in a “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal” match at Halloween Havoc which Sting would be victorious.

After leaping over two hard tasks Sting would meet up with Vader once again.

Sting would lock horns again with his new found foe in a “King of Cable” tournament final at Starrcade; Sting would win the match and the overall tournament.

But the feud would not stop there they would continue to go to battle in such matches like a bloody strap match which Vader came out the winner.

But Sting would get his ultimate revenge when Sting met Vader again on an international tour of the United Kingdom.

Sting would beat Vader to become a three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion in London.

Although Sting won the battle Vader won the one half of the war when he recaptured the belt six days later in Dublin, Ireland but the other half of the war would come soon.

Rick Rude would soon vacate the WCW International World Title.

This would re-spark the harsh flame of the heated battle between Vader vs. Sting as they would battle at Slamboree which Sting would claim the belt.

(SIDE NOTE: DID WCW HAVE SOME WACKED-OUT PPV NAMES OR WHAT?)

During this time, Flair would return to his old dirty Flair ways while holding the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

This would lead to another classic bout between the two to unify the WCW World Heavyweight Championship & the WCW International World Championship.

Sting would fall once again to his all time foe as Flair got the upper hand and beat Sting to become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion at Clash of the Champions XXVII.

OKAY AS STING HAS A LONG HISTORIC CAREER I WILL INTRODUCE TIME WARP SO I CAN KEEP THE PAGES TO A MINIMUM AS IT’S PRETTY LONG ALREADY.

· STING WOULD COLLECT MORE GOLD WITH A RETURNING LEX LUGER AS THEY DEFEATED HARLEM HEAT

· STING & LUGER WILL HOLD THE BELTS FOR A WHILE BUT WOULD SOON LOSE THEM BACK TO HARLEM HEAT

Sting would find a new nemesis in Hollywood Hogan as they would battle it out for control of the WCW World Title.

The long and I mean long awaited battle would finally take place at Starrcade with the World Title on the line.

The match would end in controversy as Bret Hart reversed the decision after Nick Patrick made a supposedly fast count.

The heated bout would continue with Sting winning the match with the Scorpion Death Lock.

Night of Champions: Why Ziggler Vs. Mysterio Might Steal the Show

Every so often, there is match that catches my interest and excites the pro wrestling fan in me.

The last match to accomplish this feat was Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels during WrestleMania XXV.

After sitting down (well, not too long since I jumped up throughout the match) and watching the epic match at Wrestlemania 25, I was in amazement.

I was waiting for WWE to excite the fan in me again, but nothing has lived up to that match.

But, at this Sunday’s Night of Champions, there will be a intriguing match.

At first, I was not excited about the Dolph Ziggler vs. Rey Mysterio matchup, but after watching some of the promos and the buildup, I knew this match was destined for greatness.

Although I highly doubt it will top the tremendous match between two of wrestling's greatest stars, I do think Ziggler and Mysterio will steal the show on Sunday.

As compared to last year’s Night of Champions, this year's event is more attention-grabbing.

We have John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H for the WWE Title, but hey, we have been there and done that.

We have CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy, which should be a great match, but for some reason, I am not that interested in this match either.

My second favorite match of the night is the The Six Pack Challenge Match pitting Kofi Kingston (the United States Champion) against five other competitors hungry for gold.

In this match, we have Miz, Big Show, Carlito, and Jack Swagger, wrestlers who fit this format well, but I have a feeling that the WWE will find a way to ruin this match. Trust me; I just have a feeling.

Then we have ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer defending his belt against Christian. Is it just me, or should they not end this feud?

If you ask me the answer is yes. In the my eyes, this match is boring. Perhaps, if they fought under extreme rules, it would be interesting. No, it wouldn't.

Chris Jericho vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase has peeked my interest, but I am just curious about Jericho's partner.

After his partner is revealed, I think the match will go downhill, since, in the past, the WWE has shown its indifference to tag team wrestling.

Now, let me tell you about the match that has caught my interest and has brought out some of the old wrestling fan in me.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rey Mysterio

Am I the only one that has been impressed with Ziggler these days? I hope not, because he has plenty of potential.

To be honest, when I saw Ziggler make his return, I thought, “No, not another bad gimmick, wasn’t being a cheerleader bad enough?”

He didn’t impress me until he landed on the blue brand, or should I say the better brand, SmackDown?

Ziggler has beaten The Great Khali, but Khali sucks, so that did not impress me. Ziggler drew my interest when he demonstrated his skills against two great athletes, R Truth and John Morrison.

But, when he went toe-to-toe with Morrison, I knew I had become a fan.

Although Ziggler lacks size, I do see him as a future champ—if he continues on the same path.

I am glad that WWE is moving away from the big heavyweight. I don’t want to see a slow champion, who looks like he's about to have a heart attack, or an oft-injured champion like Batista.

I would rather see guys like Morrison and Shelton Benjamin, who go out there and demonstrate awesome athletics abilities. Smaller and more agile heavyweights are more deserving of a championship push.

Back to Mysterio, while I was excited about the Mysterio vs. Jericho feud, in my mind, it failed.

The WWE did not allow enough time for the fans to become attached to this feud. I am not the only one that thought this feud was pushed way too fast, which was unfortunate because I thought the matches were good.

I know it was not Mysterio or Jericho’s fault, but I am expecting to see Mysterio impress me after that lackluster feud.

Another reason I like the Mysterio vs. Ziggler match is that it can further both wrestlers' careers.

Rey has been to the top before and knows how to get there. By wrestling Mysterio, Ziggler will learn how to be a great wrestler. This could start Ziggler's sky rocket to stardom.

This match can help Mysterio, too. By showing that can handle a quick and talented wrestler, he can prove to the WWE that he still has it and can be champ again one day.

Hopefully, WWE decides to continue this program. As a result, we can see some awesome matches and promos along the way.

My Reasons for My Pick

As I said before, Ziggler has great skills, and I feel he can put on an awesome match.

And, since we know Rey's ability, putting these two wrestler together could create an explosive match.

Also, due to the match's low expectations, when fans watch this Sunday’s pay-per-view, they will be like, “Wow, I was not expecting that type of action.”

This match is a building block for both. On one side, Ziggler is trying to mold himself into a future top competitor while Mysterio is trying to get back on top.

Now, when have these two determined minds, you know we should see a great end result.

You even have athletes tweeting during games on the sidelines.

It has gotten so bad that leagues had to throw out fines for doing so.

Heck, if you have a dispute to settle, handle it on Twitter; that is what two WWE Superstars decided to do.

Jericho: Adam Lambert called and he wants you back...

A few hours after Miz’s comment Jericho replied.

Man what a War of the Words via Twitter by the two WWE Superstars, Miz and Jericho.

This battle has sparked interest in wrestling fans everywhere on the web, so I had no other choice than to bring the two on THE SHOWDOWN.

SO LADIES & GENTS, LET THE SHOWDOWN BEGIN.

Tyler: Hey, guys, I am your host with the most action on THE SHOWDOWN.

Tyler: Today, I have a very special show planned out today and it will be very unique and when I say unique, I mean UNIQUE.

Tyler: I have asked Jericho and Miz to join me in THE SHOWDOWN to continue and finally put an end to this War of the Words that started on twitter.com.

Tyler: So How I will do this is I will hold the interview on my lap top and they will do the same as both are terribly busy with WWE action.

I will allow them to go back and forth as they please.

So without further ado, let’s start THE SHOWDOWN.

Miz: Thank you, Tyler, for having me on your show to rip this wannabe teletubbie to shreds. He fits the description and all with his flub of a gut hanging out.

Jericho: Oh how cute, Miz, if anyone is a teletubbie around here it’s you, tinky winky. You do have the purple hair and you already know about your tinky winky.

Also, I want to thank you as well for having me on THE SHOWDOWN.

Tyler: Now welcome guys I am glad you were able to take part in my series it is much appreciated.

HOW DID THIS WAR OF THE WORDS ACTUALLY START?

Jericho: Well, I just decided one day to poke some fun at the lackluster wrestler, Miz, as he is trying to copy my style.

Miz: Trying to copy your style? Ha, you crack me up Jericho like you cracked your tights, that’s why you went to your gut-holding underwear.

Jericho: We want to talk about guts? Okay, doughboy, the only way you see action is when you poke your flab of a body and say woo hoo.

Miz: I think you got that backwards. I poke your girlfriend and make her say woo hoo.

But Tyler to really answer your question it all started when Jericho realized that I was such a better wrestler than him (Jericho), and his time has passed.

Jericho: My time has passed (laughs)? Your time passed just as fast as it started; look who is the Unified Tag Team Champ, something you and Morrison couldn’t capture.

Pretty soon if anyone wants to see you they are going to have to go through the drive-through of Burger King.

Miz: Don’t worry, Jericho, you won’t have those titles as long as your real-life partner, Seacrest, will not be able to handle the Legacy.

Yeah you might as well let it out of the bag now; you know he will be your partner at Night of Champions.

Jericho: Speaking of bag, tell your mom when I come over tonight she better have that on.

Tyler: Okay guys, take a breath. Wow, that was some great debate.

NOW WHO IS THE BETTER WRESTLER?

Miz: Are you kidding me, Tyler are you seriously asking that.

The obvious answer is me; you can’t even enjoy a Jericho match without watching his basketball gut bounce.

Jericho: Miz, you are very fascinated with my gut, huh, and you’re the one who keeps on with the gay references to me. I think someone needs to think on what he prefers.

Sorry Miz I am taken man. Instead of chick magnet, it should be "I am a d*** fanatic."

But other than that, yours truly is the greatest wrestler.

Miz sucks so bad he wasn’t even shown on this year’s WrestleMania 25 event.

But I was and this was the night I beat down three legends.

Unlike Miz, I am a winner.

Miz: Whatever Y2Gay, if I were on the B Show I would slap you around like Ike did Tina Turner.

I am excellent in the ring you’ve been wrestling how much longer then me and you still look like an amateur compared to me.

Jericho: This is coming from a guy who can’t even beat Cena.

Tyler: Okay, guys, time is running out and I have one more question to ask the fans to see who won this War of the Words.

WHO HAS THE BEST MIC SKILLS?

Miz: Speaking of Cena, you saw just how scared he was just by my words because my mic skills are way superior to every other superstar in the WWE Universe.

Jericho: No, you are the ugliest, doughiest creature in the WWE Universe.

I don’t think I have to answer this; Jerichoholics around the WORLD know I am the better one on the mic.

Miz: You suck on the mic just like my girlfriend.

When you speak every one falls asleep to Planet Boring.

I am the one who exposed the lame John Cena.

Jericho: Yeah you exposed something all right: that you’re not WWE material. You better run along to TNA; you’ll fit perfectly there.

Otherwise, WWE just keeps you around like a pet monkey in the circus.

I can see it now: WWE wishes The Miz the best in his future endeavors.

Then once again will see you trying to make a buck on the Real World Challenge with the rest of those ass clowns.

Miz: Funny, Jericho. By the way, I forgot to ask: how is your rock and roll career going?

It’s pretty sad that you performed your songs for WWE how many times and still no one knows your band's name.

Wait what is it hmmm lame, suck so bad, can’t sell a CD, and has a total of one fan band…..

Oh wait: Fozzy.

What is the definition of that because when I think of it sounds like a mixture of puke and s***.

I guess that what happens when fans hear your CD, as that is what the fans feel about it.

Jericho: Oh wow, Miz, very funny there, but rather than worrying about my music you should be counting the days until you’re fired.

Tyler: What an awesome THE SHOWDOWN this was and when I receive all the votes I will let you know who the winner is.

UFC 100: Blind Judges, Hendo KTFO of Bisbing, GSP, and Lesnar Goes Wild

Is it me or are the judge’s blind or what?

I think they might be, but as I am so used to fighters getting screwed by the judges, I wasn't shocked by Belcher losing.

No actually I was, they must have been watching a totally different fight.

Seriously!

Like wow Belcher was picking Akiyama apart piece by piece with the standing.

Akiyama did have some good counters, but I don't think it was enough to pull off a split decision (IN MY OWN OPINION).

You could see it in Belcher's face that he knew he got ripped off as well.

All in all it was a great fight but the wrong fighter's hand was raised (Akiyama).

Henderson KTFO of BISBING!

Wow just simply wow.

Henderson looked great, he had me reminiscing his Pride days.

I didn't know Henderson had it in him, well actually I did, but I didn't think it would end in that fashion.

Good thing I went with my first instinct on my fantasy pick and Henderson didn't have me regret it one bit.

It looked like Bisbing was either scared or just really cautious of Henderson's hammer of a right hand.

But I can't say Bisbing was that cautious, otherwise he wouldn't have circled around Hendo's right like he does in his other fights.

Hendo's eyes were laser point accurate and once he got his right angle, he pulled the trigger and to make sure his UK foe was finished, he dropped a bomb of an elbow.

Man has MMA earned the right to be called mainstream or what? I was excited to see ESPN’s Sports Center have that vicious KO on the Top 10.

I watched Sports Center twice so I got to see the amazing KO back to back and it was great.

Although U.S. lost the TUF season, Henderson put some smiles on his team’s faces. I sure was grinning.

I will admit though, Team UK simply had the better fighters and work ethic but Henderson Vs. Bisbing was a great way to cap off TUF season nine.

As for Bisbing I don’t know what happened. He was doing a decent job bobbing and weaving and doing his best to counter.

But Bisbing just didn’t seem like Bisbing. He looked out of place in my eyes.

Maybe this is just for the fact that he was going against a better fighter in Henderson.

But I believe this will be a learning experience and we will see Bisbing back in great form.

GSP Is a Beast

Okay there was no doubt in my mind GSP was going to take Alves down, but the way he did it was wow.

It was estimated on ESPN that Georges took Thiago down 10 times during the fight.

I don’t know why but it seemed to me that it would be a higher percentage.

I wasn’t impressed on the number of take downs, I was impressed that it seemed effortless.

Alves did an awesome job of maneuvering to escape the grasp of GSP, well for a while he was.

In that fight I learned St-Pierre is stronger than he looks and just seems unstoppable. I also learned that Alves is not ready yet, as GSP had an answer for everything Alves was trying to throw.

Like GSP said this was a learning experience for Thiago and he will be back better than before.

What's next for GSP?

Who could GSP face next in the Welterweight division?

I could see Martin Kampmann receiving a title shot if he becomes victorious over Mike “The Quick” Swick.

Other than that I think it’s time GSP moves up in weight and goes toe to toe with Anderson Silva. Just thinking of that match up gives me goose bumps.

If anyone could bring the true fighting spirit out of Silva it would be Georges St-Pierre. Well, after Griffin does.

Lesnar Goes Wild! And Possible Future Match Ups

Damn you could tell Lesnar wanted this fight so bad.

But wow did he go crazy at the end of that fight or what?

I am surprised he didn’t go even crazier while pounding Mir’s face into ground beef.

Mir looked like Frankenstein when he got back up. I felt bad but in a way I guess that's what happens when you talk trash to a “ MONSTROUS APE.”

I expected Brock to talk a little trash at the end of the fight but not like that.

It was funny in a way, but at some point you at least have to show your opponent a little respect.

Not too many would want to step in the Octagon with the man beast Lesnar, but Mir did.

I have a feeling this feud is not over yet!

The following comment had me laughing hard on the floor!

“I’m drinking a cooler full of Coors Light, Coors Light because Bud Light won’t pay me anything.”

Lesnar just doesn’t give a f***!

Some have criticized his statements as inappropriate, but I still laughed.

Lesnar would be on his best behavior though after having a talk with Dana White in the bathroom according to MMAFrenzy.com.

He even came out drinking a nice cold bottle of Bud, not Coors, and even stated,

“First and foremost I want to apologize,” Lesnar said. “I acted very unprofessionally after the fight. I screwed up and I apologize. I apologize to Bud Light. I’m not biased, I drink any beer.”

Lesnar also noted he would be drinking Bud Light all night.

Now with that madness aside let me ask the question: Who is next for the Undisputed UFC Champion?

My pick would be Shane Carwin.

Carwin is an awesome match up for Lesnar, both big guys with similar styles and should and would make up for a great fight.

But it seems Dana might put those plans on the back burner or just simply planning ahead.

The following was stated by Dana White at the post-UFC 100 press conference posted by MMAFRENZY.COM:

“This whole Fedor thing has been going on and on and on. I keep saying this and that about him and he keeps waiting. Eventually, Fedor’s going to be here. I want Fedor. I want him to come to the UFC and everything else. [Brock Lesnar] just became the heavyweight champion. We’ll end up getting that deal done. And then we’ll do Brock vs. Fedor, and it’ll be a huge fight."

Man I am down to see that, fight let’s just hope the deal get’s done.

Fedor has to sign. Who else is there to fight outside of the UFC?

No one that comes to my mind, also the UFC Heavyweight division is starting to shape up like the other divisions with great young talent.

This would be epic if this deal gets signed, but we’ll see.

UFC 100 Overall

UFC 100 was great and surpassed my expectations. It was a great night of fights.

PART 3 OF BUILDING A DYNASTY

10. CHRIS JERICHO

Chris Jericho, another great Canadian wrestler, didn’t waste any time to get into Pro Wrestling.

After putting rings together for promoter Bob Holiday, he decided it was his time to shine.

Jericho made went on to perform for independent promotions, where he would catch the eye of new fans and would show that he was the future of the business.

He would then be recommended to Paul Heyman by Mick Foley to compete in the original ECW.

Jericho wouldn’t waste any time in building up his championship trophy case, as he would claim the ECW Television Championship.

With great feuds and matches with some of ECW’s top talent of the likes of Taz and RVD it wasn’t too long before WCW started to call the young talent.

Jericho would make an impact in the Cruiserweight division upon his debut into the company; he would also have a nice run with WCW’s Television Title as well.

But like every other star in WCW, happiness would not last; so like other fellow star The Giant (Big Show), Jericho leaped over to WWF/E.

Jericho grabbed much attention when he debuted when he and The Rock delivered a great back-and-forth promo.

But he would not only stack up new fans with his clever mic work but with the skills he displayed in the ring.

He would have great feuds with Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Kane, and even Chyna.

But the star knew he finally had arrived when he became the first-ever WWE Undisputed Champion, beating two greats, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the same night.

With the great success, Jericho has received there is no doubt we are witnessing the work of a future WWE Hall of Famer.

9. TRIPLE H

Triple H started lifting at a young age, as he found interest in body building.

He would soon use that frame to his advantage; after graduating college, he would enter wrestling school, where he was trained by Killer Kowalski.

Triple H entered WCW doing what he does best: being a heel.

He would feud with Alex Wright and others, but nothing really special in his days in WCW.

With his one-year contract soon to expire, Triple H request for a push was shot down.

So he wandered off to WWF/E, where he would be utilized better.

He entered the WWF/E as an uptight rich boy from Connecticut with proper etiquette.

At this time, he was simply referred to as Hunter Hearst Helmsley at this time; his most notable title win would be the Intercontinental Title.

He would soon drop the belt to Rocky and also drop the rich boy gimmick as the Attitude Era approached.

With plans of Hall and Nash leaving, they looked to Triple H to move up to main event status.

But with the MGM Kill incident, WWF/E ended up going with Austin and I am so happy they did.

I think WWF/E would not be here if they would have went with Triple H.

We would have never witnessed the 3:16 speech.

But Triple H was rewarded with DX to compete with WCW’s NWO.

This is when they game looked most impressive and started racking up more titles.

After Michaels decided to retire, it was time for Triple H to shine.

He would go on to win the WWF/E world title on various occasions and he seems to still love the title, as we still see him winning the damn thing until this day.

Now come on you knew “The Great One” had to be on my list.

The Rock was electrifying on the mic and in the ring WWE/F had no choice to present him with championships.

I believe The Rock, Stone Cold and the Attitude Era as whole is the reason WWE is still here to this day and oh yeah and WCW being so dumb.

The Rock is a third-generation superstar as his Dad, and Grandfather (Rocky Johnson and Peter Maivia) strapped up the boots as well. No wonder why he was so talented.

Not only was The Rock a pro wrestling star, he was also a Miami Hurricane Football star. But his career in football would soon end and this would lead him to his decision to try pro wrestling.

Rocky Maivia would soon enter the WWE smiling and trying to pull off some wins.

But that smile would soon fade. Although he would capture the Intercontinental Title the fans would just love to boo “The Great One.” This would upset the champ and would lead him into his transition from Rocky to simply The Rock.

He had more swagger and basically silenced the haters with his slick talking skills on the mic.

He would go on to become a title-winning machine and putting on great feuds with Stone Cold and Triple H.

He would leave the squared circle and would pursue his acting career, but The Rock will never be forgotten with the excellence he displayed in the ring and his title wins.

What could I say about Steve Austin? Let me just leave it simple: Steve Austin makes great TV.

This is why he was part of the biggest storylines and held the belt on various occasions.

With being Champion comes a big task; it means you have to be a leader and lead the company to be great. With this, you have to keep the fans interested in the program, and this is what exactly what he did.

Austin started off in WCW, but would soon find out it wasn’t the place to be, like many other stars did. He would win the WCW Tag Team Title under the Hollywood Blonds gimmick with Brian Pillman.

After his stint as a Hollywood Blond, he would try to establish a solo career by winning the United States Heavyweight Championship and the Television Championship.

But that would not be enough as Eric Bischoff, and other WCW representatives did not see potential in the future WWF/E superstar, so he was fired.

He would than drop the W and would go to the Extreme in ECW.

Austin was able to express himself a little more and entertained the crowd even more with his promos.

Austin would feud with Sandman and Mikey Whipwreck to claim the right to the ECW World Title. Austin would never gain the belt, but it was some great action to watch.

Austin would then be picked up by WWF/E, where he would truly gain his right to be one of Pro Wrestling’s Greatest Champions.

Austin had a few gimmick stints like "Ringmaster" and other ones no one cared for. It wasn’t until his speech at King of the Ring after beating Jake “The Snake” Roberts.

His speech and winning the crown started a frenzy as 3:16 signs were posted everywhere in the crowd.

WWF/E knew they had something, so it was time to push the X-Factor.

Austin winning WWE/F most prestigious prize and great feuds with The Rock and Vince McMahon would push WWE/F back to the top in the ratings war.

Austin without a question will go down as one of the greatest performers in Pro Wrestling HISTORY!

6. PAT PATTERSON

Pat Patterson is the first and is one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions to win the strap.

Patterson is a wrestling great and will always be remembered for his skills in the ring.

He would be dubbed the first Intercontinental Champion when he would win and unify the North American Championship with the South American Championship.

Patterson would nearly hold the belt for a year.

Although he won other belts, the Intercontinental Title was probably his greatest reward.

Patterson would soon retire but still was working behind the scenes and on camera promos with Vince McMahon.

Patterson would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1996.

15. THE FABULOUS MOOLAH

If you think of the Women’s Title, one name should come up: "Fabulous" Moolah; if not, it should.

Moolah is the first WWF/E Women’s Champion ever; Moolah claimed that right to that title when she won the belt in the 1956 tournament when she defeated Judy Grable.

She cemented her legacy and claimed her right as possibly the first women’s ICON in Pro Wrestling when she held the belt for nearly 30 years.

Yes, nearly 30 years.

But still to this day, women wrestlers still don't receive the respect they should.

Even though great women wrestlers like Moolah and others busted their ass, the WWE still decides to do things their way.

I think WWE needs a little dose of Aretha Franklin and find out what "RESPECT" means to the WWE Divas.

But although there is a lack of respect there is no doubt Moolah is one of the best not only in women’s wrestling but in Pro Wrestling itself.

14. CURT HENNIG

There are many words to describe Curt Hennig but there is simple one word that trumps all the others and is the best fit for the great athlete: "PERFECT."

Hennig made his arrival into the Pro Wrestling world in the early 80’s; Hennig didn't waste any time to start racking up titles.

He made an impact where his father, Larry "The Axe" Hennig, started his own career in the AWA.

Hennig went on to win the AWA World Tag Team Championship with Scott Hall and eventually would start his solo career, where he picked up the AWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Soon after his accomplishments in the AWA, Curt Hennig would transform to "PERFECTION."

Right off the bat, he started a successful winning streak, Mr. Perfect seemed to be untouchable.

He went on to have a variety of great feuds where his streak continued until he met up with Hulk Hogan.

Mr. Perfect stapled himself as one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions and was one of the reasons some people questioned what title is more prestigious between the IC and the WWF Title.

Mr. Perfect would drop the name but still resembled perfection in the WCW ring.

Curt Hennig would also become a great champion and added himself to one of the biggest stables/longest storylines in Pro Wrestling history (nWo).

Even though he is no longer with us, we can still reminisce by watching some of his greatest matches and relive his "PERFECTION."

13. PEDRO MORALES

Not too many people know of this great WWE Hall of Famer.

Well let me tell you this if you don’t know about the great champ you should get to know him.

I myself didn’t know too much about this great champ. But after looking further into Morales' rich history in Pro Wrestling which he started in his teen years I knew he belonged on my DYNASTY LIST.

Pedro Morales was the first to start the Triple Crown Champion phrase, as he was the first to claim all three major WWF/E Titles (Intercontinental, Tag Team and World Championship).

Morales became a fan favorite around the world and he did not disappoint when performing.

Morales decided to pack his bags and pick up gold elsewhere so he ventured off to NWA region promotions and other Independent organizations in Puerto Rico.

He made a return to WWF in the early 80’s and would get back to his winning ways and championship quest.

12. RICKY “THE DRAGON” STEAMBOAT

Man, did Ricky put on some great matches in his prime or what?

Yes and he proved he hasn’t lost one step when he recently tangled up with Chris Jericho.

The guy was fit to wear a title as he always delivered with a performance.

I remember the great battles he would have with “The Macho Man” Randy Savage; they brought the house down.

You know you have talent when the fans never get tired seeing you as a babyface now that is a hard task that some of today’s greats can’t do. While staying face his whole career, he took a step further and won some belts along the way and eventually became a WWE Hall of Famer in 2009.

Although “The Dragon” performed in other organizations like WCW and NWA he will probably be best known for his achievements and great matches in the WWF/E.

11. KURT ANGLE

Yeah it’s real; its damn real. Mr. Angle has made it on to my very own WRESTLING DYNASTY LIST.

Although the guy can’t shut up as of late and has been officially labeled "WACK," I still can’t deny his overall accomplishments.

Before Kurt Angle started racking up titles in the squared circle or TNA’s six-sided ring, he was winning medals.

Angle won two gold medals in Atlanta for the 1996 Olympic Games.

That’s an accomplishment that no other Pro Wrestler can claim, so it would seem Angle would have the right to call himself the best Pro Wrestler in the world.

The first offer that WWF/E made to bring in Kurt Angle was shot down but finally the Olympic Gold Medalist signed on the dotted line in 1998 to wrestle in the WWF/E.

Angle led an impressive streak and was showing glimpses of his greatness that would soon come.

Before going after the big one (WWF World Title), Angle started a title collection.

He made an historic rookie debut by winning title after title; his first belt he claimed was the European belt, when he beat Val Venis on Smackdown.

Kurt Angle would win basically every title that WWF/E had to offer.

But soon after, the traveling, injuries, and simply just wrestling started to take effect on Angle's body.

Angle needed a rest, so he was released from his contract with the WWE.

Many thought Angle would take the time off to rest and get his mind right but we were all shocked to find out Angle was hungry for more competition and gold.

Angle was the first major star to make the splash from WWE to TNA (nothing against Christian or anything).

Angle went onto hold every belt in TNA and would become TNA’s second Triple Crown Champion (AJ Styles being the first)

With TNA’s unique contract structure which allows their wrestlers to perform with other independent organizations or in Japanese organizations, Angle was able to capture the IWGP Third World Championship.

So with that, Angle has become one of Pro Wrestling’s Greatest Champions.

Dynasty n. pl. - Is a succession of rulers who belong to the same family for generations.

Although some of the greatest wrestlers to ever hold a strap (championship belt) may not be related by blood they belong in a class of their own. These great champions (that I will highlight) are a DYNASTY, a family that fans have watched and grew to love for generations.

They have become rulers in their own right, as they have held and made what some of the greatest belts are today.

Although the belts may not be utilized and shown the same respect like back in the day true fans around the world can never forget the diligent effort these great wrestlers have put forward to make Pro Wrestling great.

I have put together a TOP 20 LIST of great champions and will highlight their skills, attributes and all the accomplishments these greats have put together to make wrestling even better.

Not only have these wrestlers made themselves respected stars and athletes but when they held the belt(s) they made it prestigious and respected.

SO ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE TO YOU WRESTLING'S DYNASTY (IN MY OWN OPINION!)

20. THE DUDLEY BOYZ AKA TEAM 3D

These two have formed a historic tag team that has held so many titles on various occasions they have made a right to the of one of the Greatest Tag Teams if not the best ever.

The historic Tag Team run of greatness all started 1996 in the original "LAND OF EXTREME" ECW.

They won their first ECW Tag Team Championship at ECW Hostile City Showdown on March 15, 1997.

From this point forward, the team battled with a variety of challengers and made feuds that will make ECW fans appreciative for years.

But ECW was just the beginning to the Dudleys building a successful Tag Team career.

Like a lot of ECW's top stars, The Dudleys ventured of to WWE/F where they would become even bigger stars.

In WWE/F is were they Dudleys started making the big statement that they were one of the Greatest Tag Teams.

They went on to win the WCW, WWE, and World Tag Team titles and while holding them they put on some of the greatest tag matches fans around the world still talk about.

Most notable of these matches the TLC series.

If you don't think those matches were just incredible, then something must be wrong with you.

After spending a well-accomplished career in the WWE, the Dudleys decided it was time to take their dynamic duo of dynasty to an organization were supposedly the "ACTION" never stops.

Even though TNA only has 16 minutes of actual wrestling, at best.

Anyway, The Dudley Boys just added on to their already stacked tag team resume by winning the NWA, TNA, and IWGP, AJPW Tag Titles. Also, "I have checked on this," it seems they currently hold the HUSTLE Super Tag Team Championship.

With attributes and achievements like these there is no doubt that The Dudleys belong on the list of Greatest Champions.

19.THE RADICALZ (RIP - CHRIS BENOIT and EDDIE GUERRERO)

Although these two have had a sad ending, there is no question they were great in the ring.

Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit were two of the best to ever grace the ring.

There wrestling styles were unique and very creative that had the crowd pay attention from start to finish.

So it was obvious that the wrestling promotions would strap some belts on these two to make them even greater.

So unlike WWE, I will recognize and share the great achievements accomplished by Mr. Beniot as I will be highlighting his IN-RING ACTIONS and not outside the Wrestling Universe.

Chris Benoit has been in tons of promotions and each one he has wrestled in he has won an award or a Championship.

Benoit started his well accomplished career in the Hart Family "Dungeon." It's no wonder why Benoit was so great in the ring after spending a incredible amount of time of diligently training to craft his skills in the "Dungeon."

With eye catching moves like the signature flying headbutt and the snap suplex, it was obvious Benoit had the keys to be champ.

Beniot started his Championship Dynasty in Stampede Wrestling and from there would continue the trend in other promotions.

Although Benoit concluded his life with a very tragic ending, there is no reason that Beniot should not be acknowledge for his skills in the ring. Will he ever be awarded for his achievements?

We may never know, but hopefully WWE will take note.

Now on to Mr. "Viva La Raza" Eddie Guerrero.

Eddie is also known as one of the most gifted wrestlers to strap up the boots.

Coming from a rich history of wrestling within the family as his father (Gory Guerrero) became one of Mexico's influential figures.

Through wrestling, Eddie already had a head start in the game. While picking up some great in ring skills of his own and good mic work he launched his career to success.

While working in an Mexico promotion AAA he received the Championship flu, which would not be cured through out his career.

Eddie became more recognized after leaving ECW for WCW, where he put on awesome matches with other high flying stars.

Even though Guerrero received little respect in WCW, he was still able to add on more accomplishments to his list.

Guerrero and a few other WCW wrestlers jumped ship to WWF/E to earn more respect and maybe a chance of being a top star which two of them ended up doing (Guerrero and Benoit out of Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko).

From that point forward, Eddie cemented his Legacy into the Hall of Fame by putting on even more great feuds and matches and held WWF/E prestigious titles.

OH WHAT A RUSH!

With an intriguing look and innovative finisher (Doomsday Device), these two became an instant Tag Team hit.

Well I can't just say these two (Road Warrior Animal and Hawk) as there were a variety of different teamings and names.

They are also known as Hell Raisers (Hawk and Power), LOD 2000 (Hawk, Animal, Puke and Sunny), LOD 2005 (Animal, Heidenreich, and Christy Hemme) and the last faction The Hell Warriors (Power and Animal).

All in all, the LOD aka Road Warriors as a whole made a statement that they were great.

The Legion of Doom faction started in Georgia Championship Wrestling in 83.

Although the stable consisted of other members at the time, the two didn't start their great success in until it was consisted of just the two (Road Warrior Animal and Hawk).

While in GCW, not too long after their debut, they won and held the NWA National Tag Team Championship on three different occasions.

From there, they went on a road trip of a variety of different promotions and claimed belts on the way.

Although Owen's career is most recognized in his days with the WWF/E, Owen racked up belts from almost every organization he competed in.

Owen is another great wrestler who was lost in a tragic death, but will always be remembered for his talent and charisma.

Just by having the last name Hart you knew you were going to witness a great wrestling match.

In every match I watched, Owen did not disappoint.

Although Owen did not win the big one in the WWE, he held other titles throughout his career. I believe if he were here today he would of held the World/WWE(F) title on various occasions like his brother.

Is a Pro Wrestling Championship an Honor or a Prop?

As a young pro wrestling fan, I dreamed of one day holding a prestigious WWE(F) or WCW title.

That's why I find it truly funny that years later, I almost picked a toy championship belt over a bike.

I remember this day like it just happened we were at Wal-Mart were my Mom was going to grant me a bike for my birthday.

As I already picked out my beloved mountain bike, I decided to stroll along and explore the rest of the toys, where I would stumble upon something that caught my eye from first glance.

The old fashioned oval/circle WWE(F) World Title. I wanted to feel like Stone Cold, HBK, Brett Hart, and The Rock, so I pleaded and begged to receive the belt as well.

My Mom didn't see why I was so interested in wrestling so she tested me. My Mom made an offer. "Okay you can get it (belt), but that means no bike!"

Damn!

Was the thought that was running through my head: I can't believe she would test my new love for wrestling!

But I wanted the bike even more so I said never mind. But since it is my Mom she got me the belt anyway and I was even more shocked that I received more wrestling presents the next day on my actual birthday.

With that belt I had wars (imaginary). I was undefeated and I would be damned if I gave it up.

As a matter of fact, I took it one step further and made my own organization with fellow friends of mine also wrestling fans with belts. We would have wrestling matches and defend our belts.

Although they were just toys, we treated these belts as if they were the world.

In our minds, these toys were far from props.

But as that fad faded out and I grew older and rid myself from the entire wrestling scene but still stayed up to date with WWE programming, I started to notice something.

It seems that in the big times those belts that I use to give my all for, well, the toy ones don't seem that well respected any more.

What they seem like are just props.

Besides, Edge and a few others, but Edge being the most notable, no other pro wrestler seems to have that passion or strive for their respectable belt.

Or wait, maybe it's not the wrestler, maybe it's just the company!

Why You Ask?

WWE/TNA have the right who receives the belt, they as the company have the right how long or how important the title may appear.

In my own opinion, I don't have that feeling any more of importance for those championships.

What I have felt is that the titles have either been treated like the ugly red headed sister or the town hooker who just gets passed along.

My Reasons for Stating Such

I, myself don't like to see a belt being held too long as long as the wrestler respectively holding the belt has great programs with it.

But when the belts keep being passed back and forth, doesn’t this hurt its prestige?

I'm not too sure of that question myself but it just makes them seem less important.

For example, if you borrowed a shirt to a friend and he borrows it to someone else and then gives it back again. Wouldn't the value of the shirt decrease significantly?

To be honest, I would just tell him to keep the shirt and refund me back the money.

When I first started watching TNA Wrestling, it seemed that the X-Division title was respected as much the World Title.

Fast forward to the present and it doesn't have that feel to it any more; it's being mistreated like the ugly red headed sister.

How the hell do you go from stealing the show at a PPV to being lowered in value by non-spectacular matches?

I wonder if TNA thinks, “Well, with Samoa Joe and AJ Styles, there really is nothing else for us to do.”

Because that's how it seems but come on, were talking about TNA, they never know what to do.

But don't feel too bad TNA, you’re not alone; WWE has jumped along the trend train as well.

The WWE Tag Division use to have some of the greatest matches. (Have you seen any of the TLC matches?)

Not only are those matches great but there a list of them that amazed fans around the world.

So why has WWE turned their Tag Team Division from a PPV status division, to sometimes not even being featured on Raw, ECW, or Smackdown?

I have no idea.

You would think that WWE or TNA would treat their titles better but they don't; they treat them like props.

Every sport has a championship to show who or what team is the big dog in their respective sport.

Not only is a championship to show who the top dog is but it also shows that hard work pays off.

So why don't WWE nor TNA or any other wrestling organization that treat their belts like this show more effort or respect to their respective championships?

You would think that the wrestlers who are wearing the belts representing the company, showing the world that they are the best in the division would receive more respect for their hard work to claim that belt.

It should be an honor to receive a belt.

But I wonder if they feel this way knowing they (wrestlers) will not be able to highlight their skills with the belts due to the company not wanting to showcase them on their program.

Like JR said in a latest blog, he thinks the Tag Team Division will not be able to return to its great days form.

I have to agree with you JR but it's kind of dumb because you guys have the power to highlight the division.

I remember reading or hearing about guys like Flair, Sting, Rhodes, Bruno going out there and amazing the crowd and putting on a great show showcasing that they were the best.

As I watch today's programming, I don't see that one bit.

So I came up with the awesome idea, this idea is BUILDING A DYNASTY.

With guys or teams like Flair, Bruno, Hogan, LOD going out there giving their all and showing why they were the best you would think today's organizations would give the current wrestlers that same respect.

I will try to get that respect back.

In Building a Dynasty, this will be continued.

Miz & Morrison: Together Strong, But Alone Makes Them Even Stronger!

When you first thought of the pairing of The Miz and John Morrison, the first thing that might have entered your mind was, "WWE wishes Miz and Morrison the best in all future endeavors."

But, fast forward to today and they have made a statement all on their own.

That statement is that they are not going anywhere and they are here to make a BANG!

Morrison had a little stint with umm, what's his name?

Damn, for real, what is his name? Wait while I search on Google.

Oh yeah, Joey Mercury.

They held the belts on a few occasions, but (in my own opinion) nothing really spectacular.

With Joey Mercury receiving that nice statement (WWE wishes Joey Mercury the best in all future endeavors), it was time for Morrison to become a lone wolf and make some noise in the land of extreme.

As everyone knows, Morrison went on to win the ECW Championship, and held the belt for a while.

But it wouldn't be long before Morrison lost the belt and once again built a new alliance that would make the Tag Team Division a little interesting again.

Miz was stuck and lost as a singles star; basically nothing for him to do. But with the teaming of Morrison and himself, tag team magic was bound to be made.

Miz and Morrison went on to capture the WWE Tag Team belts; after that, they went on to claim the World Tag Team titles.

The pairing brought interest to WWE's dying tag division, and with the announcement of the tag team unification title match at WrestleMania, there was no doubt that the Tag Team Division would transform back to the great days.

Fans would be shocked to find out that not only did the Colons walk out as champs, but that the match was not even broadcast.

That just showed what WWE thought of its Tag Team Division. I think most of you just flushed something similar.

We were set for an even bigger shock (or wait, not that big, but I will say about a three-star shock).

Miz and Morrison would end up being separated due to the WWE Draft. Not only did most of us (fans) think how bad the tag division would now be, but how long would each last before they received a pink slip?

Many felt Morrison could survive by himself, but the real question is, can The Miz?

Sure, Miz was displaying impressive improvements in the ring, but does he have the all around tools to go toe-to-toe with the high ranks of the WWE roster?

We would get a clue on the first Raw when the three brands were officially separated once again.

Miz came to Raw to make a statement, and he did that by taking on the kiddies' favorite superstar John Cena.

"What are you doing back there, Cena, looking for your next WWE film script? I gave it to the Rock; he ran out of toilet paper".

"You're something the WWE machine spews out for the little kiddies."

As Raw was lacking in action, this, and maybe a few other things, had to be the highlight of Raw.

Besides Orton, The Miz became the Raw staple for must-see TV because you were just waiting for what the former Real World star would say.

Now, Miz has his big chance this Sunday to take down one WWE biggest stars (Cena).

If Miz comes to impress, there should be no doubt that the future is looking up for Mr. Reality Check. Heck, maybe he will even enter the WWE Title picture one day.

We will just have to sit back and watch and see what the future has planned.

Now onto the Shawn Michaels of the group, John Morrison.

Why would I state something like that above?

Well, many fans felt that Morrison was the more talented of the two, and Mr. Janetty, Miz, would soon fall off the face of the wrestling world. But like the I stated above, the future is looking bright for the Miz, and Morrison's looks even brighter.

With awesome moves, charisma, and the looks that make the ladies say "damn," Morrison seems to be the total package.

Morrison is the only remaining winner to still be in the WWE active from the Tough Enough cast. Now, some may be asking what about Miz; well, Miz was runner-up to Daniel Puder.

(Who? Yeah, I forgot to go ahead and Google him also.)

Now, Morrison was figured to be a great asset for the blue brand, wait let me take that one step further, the new A brand, Smackdown.

But no one expected Mr. Morrison to do this great. After seeing the awesome matchup between Edge and himself, we knew Morrison was destined for the big time.

Although he has held a world title before, I have a feeling the second time around will be ten times better.

Although his former partner made a statement using words, Morrison made it by his actions.

Many say, "Well Morrison has no mic work." Well, who needs mic skills when you're that damn talented?

Okay, okay, you need some skills to make it to be a top star in Pro Wrestling. But has Morrison not taken that step?

I think so. I also expect more to come; heck, I wouldn't even hate to see Edge vs. Morrison part two.

WHY BEING SEPARATED MAKES SENSE

These two standing alone makes them even stronger. Why?

Look at the things they have done.

Do you honestly think Miz would be a fan favorite to some if he was still teamed with Morrison? I don't think so. I don't even think WWE would let him even talk that much at that.

Morrison would definitely have not received this major push on Smackdown. Now that these two great talents are on their own, they now have time to grow and become some of WWE best talents.

You have to admit, without these two, especially Miz on Raw, it would be more boring. When these two enter, you know they will deliver.

Also, with the some of the main stars' time in the WWE coming to an end, it's time to build new talent. Morrison and, shockingly, the Miz are looking to fill some of those voids.

Hell, I will go ahead and state this claim right now, maybe one day we will see Miz vs. Morrison headline WrestleMania. Wait, maybe not just yet; let's see what happens (laughs).

The Heart of a Champion: Breaking Down Brown vs Faber II

What exactly is heart? Yes it provides you to live your daily life's but what is it?

Better yet what is an heart of a champion?

Well if you witnessed the epic battle between Brown and Faber this past Sunday you did not need to look any further.

Urijah Faber toar through the WEC Featherweight Division for astonishing three years. Faber seemed to be unbeatable.

But every superman has it's kryptonite and for Faber his ended up being Brown!

Not to many people knew about this new No. 1 contender Mike Brown or the weapons he possessed. Fans of Faber assumed he was going to work his magic like always and pull off another flawless victory.

That's when lightening struck (Brown), and it struck hard.

During the first bout Faber was stuck on the fence, like a deer trapped in the lights of a speeding car. Faber like always using his unique fighting skills which got him were he is today, through an spinning elbow like no other that's when Brown landed a perfectly timed stone of an hand and dropped the champ.

Faber was on his hand's and knee's when Brown loaded up, to finish his prey and gain a very long awaited prized possession (WEC Title). Brown fired off and hit Faber bullet after bullet.

The referee had no other chose but to halt the fight at that exact moment.

But the true fighter in Faber did not just hold his head low just yet, although he lost his trophy (belt), Faber took this opportunity as fuel to bounce back to epic rematch.

Faber could not just jump right ahead to an rematch just yet, he had to get through the shadows of little evil one last time!

Faber VS Pulver II was looking to be even better than the first time. But Faber was looking just to repeat history but to do even better and simply destroy "Little Evil", which he did.

Urijah's eyes were reset on the prize, he had the eye of the tiger!

The rematch was set we were about to witness chapter two in what can be an epic series on June 7, 2009 we all witness the heart of a true champion(s).

THE BREAKDOWN OF BROWN VS FABER II

After a long dull day what better way to end a yawning Sunday than to witness an awesome battle of true champions?

Nothing!

Brown vs Faber not only lived up to the hype but surpassed it.

Not only did Brown have to defend an unorthodox and unique and I mean very unique fighter, what I mean is Faber is just simply talented. Brown had to do it in the California Kid's backyard which is an hard task of it's own.

I read an article a few days ago asking is there sportsmanship in MMA? If you witnessed Sunday's bout you would know the answer to that.

Yes!

The two warriors met in the middle of the battleground and not only pounded fist but wrapped up and showed major respect for one another's talent.

But once that bell rang the alarm rang and both men were seeing red. Faber using his quickness like a cheetah and setting every attack with an timed effort. While Brown stalked his prey waiting for the moment to capture and devour that very prey.

Brown used his brute force of strength to try and slow down the speedy Faber. But Faber was not going down that easy he through his shots like no other. Bobbin and weaving but it will cost him his weapons in the end.

Faber crushed his hand by throwing an knock out attempt of a shot. At the end of the round Faber knew his main striking force was going, but that did not keep the wise fight down just yet.

Faber came out throwing kicks, elbows anything he could to stay afloat of being drowned by the dangerous Brown.

But Brown also stepped his game up not only to show he was an true champion but that the first bout was no fluke.

The big bad Brown used his strength to over power the young gun to dominate the majority of the fight.

But as an former champion Faber did not quit, he lasted all the way to the fifth round which seem impossible for the ex champ.

Brown was set on finishing the Cali kid off but to no avail as Faber as the heart of a former champ set in and finished off an what would end up being an unforgettable effort by both men.

With his weapons broken Faber knew that he had suffered another loss to the well deserved champ Mike Brown. But Faber did not quit he stuck through the pain to even try to pull off an victory.

As the horn went off the crowd and every fan witnessing at home knew who was going to get their hand raised (Mike Brown).

This night would not only be known for the great brawl we witness but for the heart these two men displayed.

If you could put an definition to an heart of the champion it should be Brown V Faber II.

Although a third bout does not make to much since hopefully we can witness an epic Brown vs Faber III!

Urine: In man and other mammals, the yellowish fluid waste produced by the kidneys.

But who knew this natural waste that we give out on an daily basis could hold such of a power to fuel a champion.

Machida has dominated in the octagon, and has powered to the top of the ranks to claim the highly regarded UFC Light Heavyweight Title.

Machida did not only do this by training hard and sticking with a unique game plan, but by drinking his own urine as an every day routine, as he treats it like medicine.

He stated in an interview that he was embarrassed to reveal this unique training/diet routine.

"My father does that for a long time and bring it to us. People think it’s a joke (laughs). I never said it in the United States because I don’t know how the fans will react (laughs). I drink my urine every morning like a natural medicine.” Said, Machida on posted on MMAfrenzy.com.

PRESS CONFRENCE: Machida stated with in an interview with ESPN he has signed an exclusive deal with Powerade. "Yes I am not only pleased to have this belt, but I would also like to share that Powerade and I have come to terms to an exclusive deal. I will produce my own official "URINE" drink!",

Reporter: "So you will be selling your urine?"

Machida: "Yes, it is a drink of a CHAMPION, so why not have a little me in you! (laughs), Oh yes I would also like to share that "Pee, The Drink of a CHAMPION", will be the slogan!"

Reporter: "So you will just distribute your urine?" "Will there be any artificial flavoring?"

Machida: "Yes there will be a variety of flavors, we are still in discussion about that. So I will not go into detail at this time!

But the powerade scientist have figured an exact formula to replicate my urine, so no I will not be urinating in every bottle (laughs) that's a lot of pee!

Reporter: "What will be the name of the product?"

Machida: "Well we have chatted about a variety of names one we are considering is Peenergy, also another one is MachidUrine, but no final picks have been made just yet."

After hearing about the all the chatter behind Machida being the newly crowned champion and all the hype behind this new drink I had to once again bring him into THE SHOWDOWN!

LET THE SHOWDOWN BEGIN!

Tyler: Welcome Machida once again to The Showdown! I bet you are feeling sky high right now huh?

Machida: Yes, yes I am Tyler and its great to be back.

Tyler: Going into the fight, you were established as the favorite win.

Did you feel any pressure?

Machida: No I didn't because like Popeye has spinach, I had my urine to back me up!

Tyler: (laughs) That's great to hear. So now that you are champion it looks like you will be going toe to toe with Mauricio Rua.

Machida: Yes I cant wait to battle him it will be an war!

Tyler: I can't wait as well, I am truly hyped up for that.

Machida: Yes and I will not disappoint!

Tyler: Now let's talk about this new craze "Pee-Mainia". So you recently signed a deal to distribute your pee.

How did this come about?

Machida: Well after being on your show powerade found interest and decided that once I claimed the prize (Belt), that it would be a great idea to make a deal to sell my pee!

My pee will be the drink of CHAMPIONS! Hear me ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR (laughs)!

Tyler: (laughs) Now you were asked about flavors in an recent press conference. You could not release the details on that information just yet.

Are you able to inform the fans today?

Machida: Yes, I can well first my personal favorite is the lemon it has a real zing to it. There is also an grape, strawberry, watermelon, and fruit punch flavors as well.

Tyler: (Scratches head) Mmmmmm sounds great and delicious!

Will there be colors or will it just be clear or yellow (laughs)?

Machida: There will be red, blue, and even golden yellow that will be the plain flavor.

Tyler: How do you plan on promoting this?

Machida: Well we have a commercial planned. The commercial will have a hard day of training and what better way to quench your thirst and hydrate by grabbing a big bottle of my formulated Pee Mmmmm!

After I take an drink I will say the name of the product and say "The Drink of a CHAMPION"!

Machida- Also I have recorded a track with Lil Wayne, he say's he tries anything so he really enjoy's my product sample.

Tyler- You're rapping now?

Machida: Yes I got on the hook of the track and spit a little flow I make em say uuuuuuh da na na (laughs).

But basically Lil Wayne seen the last The Showdown were I sang Pee, pee the more you drink the much more stronger you will be and he liked it.

So that will be the hook of the song and he is on the track as well. The song will be called........

"Take a sip of my PEE"!

Tyler: Can you spit a couple bars (lines) of your half of the song?

Machida- Yes yes I can, I will give a little sample!

UUUUUUH pee, pee the more you drink maybe you can be strong like me strawberry to lemon/ I got different flavors feel it up and take a sip/ Someday you could get a belt like this/ These other fighters want to get like me but I knock them out and just un zip/ That ain't the taste of defeat that's the taste of my piss!

Machida: That was a little sample. I can bring you a copy when it is complete.

Tyler: Yes I would like to hear it.

Machida: Speaking of samples, what flavor would you like to try?

Tyler: Um, Um, Um

Machida: I would appreciate it, and also were I'm from it's an insult if someone offers you something and you decline!

Tyler: Well I'll try the lemon. (I take a sip, and have a sour lemon face look), Yum that is some great stuff right there I feel like a Champ already (laughs).

(Machida drinks the rest)

Machida: Yeah I feel like the Hulk Aah (laughs) that is the warrior pee chant. Go ahead and do it with me!

(Machida and I begin the warrior pee chant)

The Showdown: "The King Of Controversy" Joe Burgett Faces an Intervention!

Rival n. One who strives to compete with another; one who equals or almost equals another.

In life, there is always a task that one must overcome to take the next step to success. Whether it takes a second, a minute, weeks, or even years, this challenge will always be there to push you.

As a young sports fan, I loved to gather with fellow fans and chat about the current events in certain sports that I loved to watch or play.

One day I stumbled upon BleacherReport.com. I found it by mistake. It was a boring day and I decided to look up more usual MMA info to see what the latest match-ups were.

So I went to Google and typed "UFC" into the search link, as the other MMA sites were running slow that day.

Every day I continued this routine, and soon I began to notice something: Dorothy Willis, I started to see this name so often that one day I decided to see who this Dorothy was. I clicked on the link to read her latest article (forgot which one, but it was great).

I ended up enjoying it so much I decided to browse the rest of B/R.

From that point forward, I knew I had found something special. A novice writer such as myself be able to sharpen my skills with other great writers. I had the opportunity to write about sports that I love to watch.

Novice n. A person who is new and unfamiliar with an activity or business.

As time went by, I came across some great writers AkD, Shane Howard, JLB, Dorothy Willis, and latest newcomer Sulayman. (There are tons more and sorry that I did not list your names, but I am pretty sure you know who you are.)

At this time I started to find interest in Joe Burgett, who was the number 1 ranked writer in the wrestling section at the time. Joe Burgett was a name I was seeing mostly everywhere I went on the wrestling section and I mean everywhere.

I did not really care, or want to know, about on the controversy swirling around Joe, as long as Mr. Burgett stayed true to that No. 1 rank badge and write No. 1 rank work.

But as time went by, I came to see why Joe was the person to love to hate here in the B/R wrestling section.

But instead of jumping on the train of hating Joe, I sat back and anticipated what Joe would do next.

Then, we were introduced to "B/R Turns into a Soap Opera." Joe was looking to put on his humor hat, but his jokes and comedic act of an article failed in all areas. Joe was looking for good fun (or was he?), and decided to mock or basically criticize fellow B/R wrestling writers.

The article backfired and Joe was set for Backlash. Joe decided to write an apology article which still had people thinking "WHAT?", including myself.

I will not go into detail, but I decided to leave a comment on Joe's "APOLOGY" article. I accused Joe of writing the article just to finally claim one goal he has not reached yet: an Article of the Day.

Joe denied the allegations and from that point, I wanted to expose Joe, and show that it was an error for him being No. 1.

As there are more talented writers here on the B/R wrestling section, to have someone like him at No. 1 would damage the way the other writers on the B/R wrestling section are viewed.

So I decided to invite Joe to The Showdown, not to make him look bad or anything like that, but basically to see what we can expect to see from him in the future and if we will see a true writer rather than an attention-getter.

As this is the wrestling section, I did ask Joe questions on wrestling topics, as well.

So let THE SHOWDOWN BEGIN

Tyler: Hey Joe, I would like to thank you for taking your time out of your day and sitting down with me on THE SHOWDOWN!

Joe- Thanks for having me on dude, especially since it is the first ShowDown ever on B/R featuring an B/R writer. Just a warning to the B/R faithful, I am going to be completely honest. No pandering or trying to save face here. So if you're looking for something like that you can leave now. I say lets get started TW, what say you?

Tyler- Sounds good to me and I think this will be very interesting!

Tyler-It seems you are an passionate wrestling fan, how did it all begin?

Joe-You know it is kind of funny. My father and I used to watch wrestling behind my mom's back. Like if she was gone we would watch it. She didn't like the cursing, especially because I was young and stuff. Apparently she thought I would never hear it. Also, it was a bit scandalous as it was the 90s.

So, we tried to watch WWE and WCW as much as possible. But, that was my dad for ya. Then all of the sudden, my father died in a car wreck. It was very hard for me as a kid because I was 11 years old when he passed away.

I felt I had to be the man of the house for my mom and that was hard. It was like I had to grow up and forget childhood. I knew I was not my dad, and my mom knew I was not yet able to be the man of the house. But, I tried as hard as I could.

I started watching wrestling as a tribute to my father in a way, see, I knew he liked it. I liked it too. So, instead of watching it off and on I watched it regularly. And that was when I started to become a hardcore fan. People know way more than me before 2000, but after that I am pretty good about remembering things.

I am 19, so I was not able to remember back as far as some of the others can. Of course I went out and rented old videos or looked on Youtube for the big events like the Montreal Screw Job, the Finger Poke of Doom, and other things I was not able to see when they first happened.

My cousins and others were fans, so they told me many things too. Because they watched and are older than me, they know a lot.

This could be why I am into the new age wrestling that many are not into. It is basically the generation I grew to know.

Tyler- I am sorry that you lost your Dad. Do you hold wrestling closer now, knowing that is something you both loved to watch and enjoy with one another?

Joe- Do I hold it closer now? Well sort of.

See my dad and I would love to watch WCW stuff together because they would have shows during the mid-day sometimes where I lived. Like on Saturdays. We would watch it when my mom was gone. Like I said before, we couldn't watch it really when my mom was around.

We tried a few times, and she got angry and told us to change the channel. We didn't have cable, so we could not see Nitro or RAW, however we did get to see SmackDown and a few WCW shows when they came on the regular few channels.

I didn't get to see RAW until after my father died because we moved from the house I lived in and we had extra money to finally get cable.

There was to things that my father and I liked to watch together and that was Alabama Football and wrestling, so as I said before, being a fan of those things are not only something I have a passion for but is also a tribute to my father.

We had a lot of things we did together, and for him to die when I was so young was hard for me because I had a lot of growing up to do still. I mean I was was only 11 you know. Still just a kid.

My mother remarried very soon after my father died, in about a year. And my step-father is not the biggest sports fan around, so loving sports was at this point a tribute to my father and also something to buck the system in the household. Yes, it started back then. lol

So, although I am the only sports fan in the house, I have a lot of other family members who love sports along with me. So at least I am not alone there.

So what started as a thing my father and I just watched from time to time, was now a passion in a way. It has become even more of a passion since joining B/R.

I have loved sports all my life, but as mentioned before I wanted to be like my father in a way. And as all of my family members say, I am a mirror image, so that is nice to know.

Tyler- That's good that you have others to talk sports with. Once again, I am sorry about your Dad.

Tyler-As the older wrestlers time have already come who do you see stepping up to fill those voids of aging main eventers?

Joe- Oh you have a lot of people.

I mean there is CM Punk, Evan Bourne, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Ted DiBiase Jr., and others. Some are young and will still be in the main event picture like Edge and Randy Orton.

Tyler- I like your picks especially the Bourne, MVP, and Benjamin picks. I dont know how much longer Edge can last as an main eventer, though, as he has been seen at the top spot for awhile now and his gimmick is getting kind of stale. In my opinion.

Tyler- But Do you see Pro Wrestling on a decline? If so what could be done to
help bring it back to popular form?

Joe- I don't see it as much on a decline as I do on the wrong pace. I think they could be doing so much more, but they decide not to.

First off, they only get extreme one night a year, which is cool and all. But before we saw so many more hardcore type matches. Why are we not seeing that anymore?

I feel they can give us more exciting matches, but they put the top guys in there as a marketing thing. They have proven ratings in Cena, Triple H, and Orton. So they put them in the main event.

While it is cool to see them on the show, I feel you could easily put MVP or someone in the main event more often.

They have put him in there in the past, but nothing like they should have. MVP is the only two-time US Champ in WWE history and is the longest reigning one too. So, he has done as much as he can with that belt. Start getting him in the World title hunt.

I feel we are starting to see more from SmackDown than RAW regarding using new people in the main event. While we are seeing Edge and Jeff Hardy, we are also seeing John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin up there and even CM Punk.

One person I am happy to see and told people would be big is Dolph Ziggler. People thought I was crazy when I said he was the next big star in the WWE.

I stand by that, and he could be soon. He is already, to me anyway, the third-best heel on the show. Only behind guys like Edge and Jericho, which any would be behind other than Orton in the WWE today.

I feel the more new people we see in main events, the more WWE will start to get out of this funk. For the longest time, we kept hearing that the same old people are in the main event.

Now, the WWE is answering the call and putting others in there. It is just going to slowly as they are only doing it on one show really. RAW is where they should be doing it as that is the supposed flagship brand.

Tyler- I totally agree with you, I think people are tired of seeing the same guys at top of the WWE rankings. But it seems WWE is stepping up their game and pushing new guys towards that direction. Hopefully they continue to do so.

Tyler- With that said If you were CEO, of TNA and or WWE what would you do to change the companies?

Joe- Well I mentioned using new stars in the WWE in the other question. And TNA is the same thing in a way.

You have the Main Event Mafia ruling TNA, and this is not just a storyline. It is true. Because they keep on jamming them down our throat. I am getting tired of it personally.

We keep seeing them in the title hunt along with Foley and Jarrett. Do we have to see them there and not a guy like Chris Daniels, AJ Styles, or Samoa Joe?

All three are considered some of the best wrestlers in the world, but you put them in the shadow of the old Mafia whose wrestling skills have declined big time from their WWE/WCW days.

It is a shame to see them jammed down our throat. I was a fan of all of these men, but seeing TNA hurts my view of them. Now they bring in Shane Douglas and Raven, two more older stars whose wrestling skills have declined.

Elijah Burke and Gavin Spears, two former WWE stars are rumored to be working there and they can give them a future. But, if I see Raven and Douglas jammed down my throat, I will have to hurt someone.

Lashley can help, but they don't know how to come to terms with him on a contract. He would be a nice pick-up though.

I feel if you use the young stars more, TNA will start to build and will do well against the WWE. Same with WWE, they have the stars and the fame. Why not use them?

Tyler: I believe TNA just wants to recreate stuff that worked in the past and recycle it, thinking well this worked back than so it will work now.

I just see the MEM as a wannabe nWo. Just because their reasons of forming the faction are different ( Respect over Total control) doesn't mean they are not similar. I think TNA needs to get that in their head's before they can officially compete with WWE.

Tyler: Now if you look at TNA and WWE rosters who do you think belongs and who does not.

Joe- That is a tough one, because there are many people who belong on the roster. I will say who I think shouldn't be there. First from WWE: Maria, Finlay, Tommy Dreamer, Ricky Ortiz, and Zack Ryder.

From TNA: Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, and Mick Foley. All but Steiner can still talk on the mic, keep them out of the ring and you'll be fine. If they talk, that is cool, because Nash and Foley are two of the best on the mic in the history of pro-wrestling.

Tyler: Yeah, I agree with the Steiner and Nash picks, they just need to hang it up; their bodies have been through too much and it shows. But you have no love for Dreamer, Finley nor Maria (laughs).

Tyler- I seen in one of your latest articles that in your eyes The New Hart Foundation are the saviors of the lacking tag division. Why?

Because I would have to disagree as Miz and Morrison were great and other teams are great but still no love for the tag division. It's not the teams: it's WWE's
decision to build the division up or not.

Joe: Well, they are now officially called the Hart Dynasty, shout out to Adam Testa and ECW for that one.

I think Miz and Morrison are great, but Hart Dynasty has technical wrestling skill that Miz and Morrison do not. Sure Morrison is wonderful in the ring and is relatable to Shawn Michaels.

But Tyson Kidd is relatable to Bret Hart and DH Smith is relatable to his father the British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith. Two of the best wrestlers of all time. Also they spent time in the Hart Dungeon, where few were able to go.

I think they will take us back to the traditional tag wrestling, something WWE has needed. Also, they are not like Miz and Morrison.

They both could do well in singles wrestling, but they excel in tag wrestling. So, the WWE will keep them in the tag division.

Priceless is another good team, but they are more so two singles stars working together. While the HD actually look like a tag team.

Also they are with Legacy, which would eventually break up. They were even tag champs, but, they lost the titles. Which the WWE never gave back to them.

So that would mean they would rather push the faction and not them as a tag team. The Colons are good, but this is more so a team to push Carlito and keep him out of trouble, according to many within the WWE. He has been a disruption in the past because he has not been pushed right.

So, they gave him the tag titles with his brother to keep him in a push while not pushing him to singles action completely. I feel they will lose those titles to the Hart Dynasty.

Cryme Tyme is not liked by the WWE that much, they will use them as a tag team but probably never give them the tag titles. The World's Greatest Tag Team is great to see again, but again it is just for singles pushes for Haas and Benjamin if you ask me.

They will get them the tag fame, and while they are up there up there in popularity, they will be split up again.

So that leave the Hart Dynasty to both save and keep the tag division something to see in the WWE. While it is nothing like TNA has, it at least has one team they can rely on. Unlike Miz and Morrison, who we all knew were going to singles.

Tyler: Okay I understand a little better now. But I still dont see them as the saviors as WWE holds the power to make their Tag Division stronger and right now they choose not to.

Tyler: Speaking of The Miz, what do you think of his current role on Raw?

Joe: I actually love his role on RAW. He is starting to be something to see. I felt that they put the wrong person on RAW when they split apart Miz and Morrison. I felt Morrison was the best person for RAW, not Miz.

But he is coming out talking and showing up in the ring, which I like. He has pleasantly surprised me. Good job, Miz, is all I have to say.

Tyler- The Miz has surprised me as well. I hope they continue to do this not just with the whole Cena thing but even after, I think he could make a great heel on his own.

Tyler- Now looking at the rest of the roster changes, do you think the draft hurt the WWE as the ratings been on an decline lately?

Joe- I don't think it hurt the WWE at all. It actually strengthened it. I think they made some great moves such as Morrison to SmackDown, Kennedy and HHH to RAW, and others. The Miz thing turned out well too, I was skeptical before when they split them apart.

I knew they would split them apart one day, just didn't know when. But it seems to be working out with Morrison on SD! and Miz on RAW.

They sent CM Punk to SD!, which I loved. I think they made SmackDown an exciting roster, especially when they got rid of Kozlov and put him on ECW. Which is also looking good. So I can't complain about the draft.

Tyler: Yeah, I like the draft personally, I just don't see why the ratings have been hurting lately, maybe this is just a phase that will pass soon!

Tyler: Speaking of rosters, many see TNA roster being superior to WWEs. Do you agree?

Joe: I wouldn't say that personally. I think they have some wonderful wrestlers in TNA, but WWE is not that bad wrestling wise either. When it comes to fast paced wrestling, TNA wins because of the X-Division, when it comes to tag wrestling, TNA wins again.

But when it comes to singles wrestling, WWE wins by a mile. Also they have superstars there that TNA doesn't. If we talk just wrestling, I think TNA has the best wrestlers you can see, they are just not used right many of the time to show it.

The WWE does the same thing, but I feel they are showing they want to improve their wrestling. If you have seen the people coming through ECW, you know that they are not bad wrestling wise. People like Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Tyson Kidd, Jack Swagger, just to name a few. We can safely say they are good, right?

They are making them focus on singles wrestling mostly though, Kidd was until they had the idea to bring Smith in to help the tag division. So all we see come through there from now on should be great in the ring.

That should rival the good wrestlers TNA has like Styles, Joe, Angle, and Daniels. The problem is that we can name four men that are good with TNA, because they are the ones we are seeing.

In the WWE we see four men right off the bat people can name that are good wrestlers and they're new!

I think TNA is not showing us what they need to in wrestling while the WWE is at least showing us different people every week, something TNA has not been doing. We see the same people in the same kinds of matches. And they are not showing off their skills.

The WWE is letting their guys face different people and having them show off their skills, so because I am seeing that I can judge more on the WWE than TNA. This is why I would pick WWE's rosters in a heartbeat rather than TNA's.

Tyler: I agree TNA has some talented youngsters but dont utilize them which is a shame but that's on them. But on the other hand, WWE does not use Benjamin and others like they should but I think they soon will.

Tyler- Okay (laughs) this is an random one but I have been seeing this
> a lot lately but McCool or Maryse?

Joe: McCool, she is the better wrestler. And while Maryse has the better marketable upside, McCool is the future of the divas wrestling wise. So I would pick her. Although Maryse is getting better in the ring.

Tyler- Okay I have a few wrestling questions left, than will get to the gritty questions!

Tyler- Who are your current top five women/man wrestlers of today and why?

Joe- WOW Top 5? That is a tough one man. I'll try and get my top of today for both men and women

Tyler- Now what current wrestler reflects you and why?

I think Jeff Hardy does. He is not the best at what he does. But he makes it exciting and makes you want to watch and see what he does next.

He takes chances, some needed and some not needed. But he will do anything to entertain, like myself.

Like me, he had to climb his way to where he is today. It took him a while to get the WWE Championship, over 10 years in fact. He was so popular, yet the WWE did not want to take a chance on him getting the title for various reasons.

I feel some do not vote for my articles, not because they think it is a bad article, but they don't like me personally. They know I want an AOTD, which is my only thing yet to accomplish on B/R. And they do not vote for my articles because of that.

Like Hardy, I have many people here to back me. Some are just too critical of my work. I have never said I was a better writer than anyone.

I know I am not the best, but some of my articles have been good enough to be AOTD compare to those who have been. Not going to name any names here, though.

This is not complaining, it is just stating facts. Half of the B/R's version of the MEM hate my guts, and that is understandable.

A few of them are fair, but others are not and would rather make fun of my work rather than read the true meaning of what I am saying.

Do I make mistakes? Yes, so does Jeff Hardy. But, like him I deserve a chance to win B/R's version of the World title in the AOTD. Hardy finally won the WWE Title, and I will one day win an AOTD. I will not leave B/R until I do, in fact.

Tyler: Interesting pick there, good comparison with the AOTD and the WWE Title.

Tyler- Now if you were an Pro Wrestler your self what would be your gimmick, name, intro and etc.?

Joe- Well, if you have seen my Secret Life of a Pro-Wrestler articles, which is coming back soon by the way, you know I have a few things I do there.

The Saving Grace and the Halo are the finishers

Saliva's- Hunt You Down would be the music

Name would be my name and I would have sort of an Angel Gimmick, a Savior come to save us all type of gimmick.

I would love to rival the Undertaker if I were in the WWE or Christopher Daniels in TNA.

Tyler- Yeah I have checked it out from time to time, but I could picture that gimmick, it would just have to be worked correctly.

Now that we have those wrestling questions through with lets get to the GRITTY B/R questions!

Shall we?

Tyler- How were you introduced to b/r?

Well, it was kind of weird. I was working for a wrestling website where I did news articles. It was not too fun because they mainly had me do straight news, no opinion, just news. I was ready to quit writing altogether, but I wrote for it to have something on a resume.

I was on Facebook one day, and there was an Ad for B/R. It said "Wrestling Writers wanted." So I thought, why not? I could give my opinion and it would be cool. I arrived and there was not many people there. I thought, it would be nice to reach the No. 1 rank and I stayed.

Tyler- Yeah, I found it by reading one of Dorothy's articles and I enjoyed it so much I decided to check out the world of B/R.

Tyler- But how do you think you rose to the number 1 rank so fast?

Joe- Well, in B/R's ranking system it took me 28 days to reach the No. 1 ranking. I thought it was pretty cool that I got up there. I got up there because of the comments and reads I got on articles. See, Ron Johnson was the top guy, he had over 300 to 400 articles at the time. He had also been around 2 years.

How did I, a dude who was not even around a month, get the top spot? Reads and comments. I didn't have but 150 articles at the time.

I wrote mostly news stuff and also opinion, so since I wrote so much and got so many reads and comments at one time, I got the top spot.

Others didn't write nearly as much as I did. So I stayed at the top. Then AkD comes in and did the same thing and that is how he got the top spot. It is more of a participation thing than anything.

Tyler: With a fast climb to the top, there is always a downfall. What do you think led to your downfall?

Downfall? I don't think it was a downfall, especially because I am still No. 2 dude. To me a downfall is like the Fall of Rome or the US breaking away from England, where the loser clearly died off.

I am not going anywhere anytime soon. I may take a break or two down the road, but I will NEVER leave forever. Especially now, because I want the top spot back one day.

Tyler- I notice here on B/R some enjoy your work while others just plain and simple disagree with you.

Why do you think people love to hate you?

They love to hate me for a one of two reasons, it gives them something to do in their dull lives or they just don't like me and want to see me gone and love to do anything they can to make that happen.

And I could die today and they wouldn't care at all. Some are not like that of course, the people who love to hate me are ones who really need something to do in my opinion. They see me as a distraction or something ruining their thought-up version of B/R.

Tyler- I believe people love to hate you do to some of your pieces.

For example B/R turns into a soap opera? And do you regret that article? Do you feel it was necessary?

I don't regret anything I write most of the time; there are a few things I have written that I do not like and thought I should not have written, but someone liked it. If someone likes something, even if it is just one, I never regret writing it.

The Soap Opera articles were liked by a few people, so I have to say I don't regret writing it. I'm not going to say it was necessary, I just thought it was something fun to write, that is all.

Tyler: I expected a different answer, I am shocked you don't regret that as you even had to delete the article. That seems like regret to me.

Speaking of regret, do you regret even reacting with Gilligan? What do you think of him? Do you feel like you were played by him?

Basically what I mean is he basically promoted himself on your articles and now even won a AOTD. Does that make you irate at all, knowing that is one of your goals that has not yet been reached?

Also, many people suspected him being you, which you denied. So who do you think this mysterious Gill is?

Joe- I don't really like the guy, I was never a fan of his. He started out as a crazed Jonas Brothers-type fan. He promoted me on other people's profiles, when he was never asked to. I asked him to stop and he continued on.

He promoted more on articles after that, and then people got even more angry that they were before. And the worst part about it was, they hated ME for it.

I was not in control of it in anyway what so ever! Yet, I was hated? I understand why people thought it was me, I mean TJ Duncan wrote an article calling me out for having multiple accounts, which I do not have.

The only person people think I am who I actually do know is berg, not Ice Berg, not Chedda, not Gilly, just berg.

We go to college together, and he didn't want to go under his real name on B/R so he used a part of my last name. Of course you would think he would have used Burg not berg, but oh well.

But back to the midget, I think he was smart in a way for the article he wrote. I mean everyone just about hates the rankings, yet they claim to care less of course.

I knew when he wrote it that he was going to get AOTD for it. Because obviously it was a pressing issue and people were going to be behind it, especially because he was one of the first to write about it.

I respect his timing, of course I disagreed with just about everything in it. It made me mad because the dude basically did that because of the wrestling section.

He claimed to be a fan of mine, and when I plainly asked him stop promoting me places several times, he didn't do it. I mean people were starting to hate me because of him, then all the sudden BOOM, I snapped.

I asked him to stop before, and I knew the only way to get him to stop was just tell him what I did. He claimed afterwards I was a terrible writer and what not, when before I was the greatest thing since the Olympics.

I actually had a PI look into Gilly, someone who was a former "troll," and he figured out he is a guy called, Eddie. Well, that was his first name on B/R anyway.

He terrorized other places before the WS and was kicked off for it, then came back several times. Apparently he needs something to do with his life.

Tyler- That is some interesting info; there that some people may not know, either it's true or not, it's still interesting. But with all that aside...

Tyler- Celeste recently dropped her most famous article series the rumor mill, you decided to pick that up and turn it into "Joe's 411".

Many have criticized you for doing so, as you are looking at other sites and basically re-writing it and claiming its the best news out there because it came from you.

How do you call it the best news when you are not doing the research yourself? At least when Celeste did the mill she not only provided rumors, but accurate info. Do you see the 411 as a flawed series?

Note: (I would like to give my wishes to Celeste and her family and hope she will end up okay)

Joe: I was behind Celeste all the way with the Rumor Mill, however with all due respect I thought I could do it better. See, while she did have good news, it was not nearly as good as what it could have been.

Many people asked me to do a series like it in the past, so I thought why not? Especially now because the Rumor Mill was no more.

I do research myself and also look at sites. See, if you go to a wrestling news site, you find a lot of info. But the problem is that they do not always have every piece of news; they miss a lot.

So one site may have two or three BN articles, but another may have one or two other ones the other doesn't. So I look across the net and find the best information I know people want to know.

I call it THE best place for news to help out B/R dude, I mean why not? I don't think it is flawed, and I always site my sources if they are another site or something. I do know a few people on the inside, so I get some news from them too from time to time.

So in my articles you can find news you can't always find everywhere else. I give accurate news too, nothing I give is false.

It is either being rumored or going to happen. And I write if it is just a rumor or not too.

Tyler: All I am saying is if you were to write, you know, more articles, people would respect you more as an writer.

Now what do you think of these fellow writers which all have once criticized you once before at some point here on B/R? And be HONEST!

Joe- You want me to be honest? I respect them all you named, and....you too.

AkD: a great writer, he has a lot of potential to not just be a web writer but also a writer for a career from some of the articles I have read from him.

Shane: a guy I really respect, the dude will NEVER gossip about something regarding another person on B/R that he has not told them to their face before. He is helpful, while also constructive. I feel he is a great CL for those reasons.

Josh Swell: aka the Model, The Future, CINCO, an so on. I feel he has too many nicknames: stick with one, my man. The dude is the king of lists, no one can do it better. I have news, he has lists. I liked his "Puppies" article personally, something a few others didn't.

I think the ones who didn't are ones who need to have fun in their life, because if they are mad at that, they are either not getting any and are so mad to even see a part of the female body or they swing the other way, if you know what I mean. Just my opinion, man. Josh likes to have fun, and I respect that.

Sualyman: he recently won an AOTD, and it was not a bad article in my eyes. The only thing I do not like about him is that he asks for me to comment on everything he writes. I just don't have the time, dude.

He is a great writer and deserved the AOTD. He has a good opinion on things and he has the potential to be the top writer here one day. He is great for being so young.

Adrian: here is a guy who I see a lot of me in. A dude who is not the best writer around and needs some improving. He has a lot of good ideas, but he needs help executing them sometimes.

I feel he has improved since coming to B/R and can only get better. He just now graduated HS. He takes criticism well too, which is great.

Jason Le Blanc: I feel he is an okay guy, great writer and has a lot of experience. You can at least talk to him about stuff, and he listens most of the time.

Sometimes not too much, but I always make sure my opinion gets in his head. He wants to make sure B/R's Wrestling Section turns around.

The problem is that he and Shane as CLs feel like they have to change things around too much, when they need to leave some things be and do what B/R was set out to do, have fun.

Tyler: Good writer, could use some improvement, but so could everyone. I feel you need to figure out, people will not always agree with you.

That is a problem for you, you feel that if you write an article that you express your opinion so well that everyone has to make sure they agree, and when they don't your ticked usually.

This is just something I have observed from comments and what not. People will disagree and they will talk about how much you are wrong. Don't take it as a bad thing, they are just giving their opinion. It is something I had to learn, too.

Tyler- I do agree with you on me needing improvement. But I would disagree on the me disagreeing with people as I only been in confrontation with you, my man.

If someone has told me that I was wrong on something or need improvement on something I would listen and see what I could do to correct myself. But I respect your opinion.

Tyler- (laughs) Now I am just going to get right to it: are you jealous of AkD?

Joe- Am I jealous of AkD? Why would I be? Okay, he has the top spot now, so did I for eight months. I proved I could hang up there, and now it is AkD's turn.

I will be on his heels and I feel all I need to do is go by the rankings system and hit a few big articles or so and maybe I could pop back up there. Of course AkD writes a lot, but I do too.

But getting the top spot back is not my first priority on B/R, I have been there, done that. I have done everything on B/R but be an AOTD winner. So, that is my one and only goal as of now.

Tyler- Okay, I do understand that. I also see that you have your eyes still set on that AOTD.

Speaking of AOTD!

After the soap opera drama article you decided to write a apology article. After reading the article I accused you of writing the article expecting to receive a AOTD, which I still think those were your true attentions. Are you willing to admit that yet?

Joe- Well, the article was not a soap opera article in my eyes. More of a roast to some of the B/R faithful. It was nothing personal and I labeled it humor.

However some did not take it that way, so I felt I had to apologize. Do I want an AOTD? Yes. Did I think I would get votes for the article? Heck no.

It was an apology article, nothing more. If they gave me votes, cool, I mean I would take them. But I am not going to say I wrote it for an AOTD, cause it wasn't for that at all.

I tried the apology, but some of the stubborn people hated the idea of it and did not like it at all. I say Screw them, I tried to apologize to you, if you can't accept it then I don't give a rip man.

Tyler- Hmmm RIP I never really heard that one before (laughs). Okay but everyone has a right to their opinion and that was my opinion and still is. Sorry, DUDE?

Now that I remembered what's up with this DUDE phrase? I thought I told you not to call me that (laughs).

Joe- The dude phrase actually started just out of no where really. I mean it really did. Sorry about calling you dude by the way, its a habit.

I actually didn't know someone's name online one day, so I just said, hey dude and I kept doing it and brought it to B/R.

I actually use it with people I meet too. If you work somewhere and you obviously don't know a person's name then you say dude. Or with friends and stuff. It is something a lot of people use where I live anyway, so doing it online is no problem.

Tyler- I see, I see okay I will just leave it alone then.

Now that you are at Number No. 2, you stated after after your downfall that you will rise back to the No. 1 rank. How do you plan on doing so?

I honestly feel you will not reach the No. 1 spot again as you don't deliver No. 1 rank work, nothing against you, you're a good guy and all (sometimes), but some of your articles are just not accurate number No. 1 rank-worthy work.

Joe- Deliver No. 1 rank work, it all depends on what you like personally. I could say I like American Idol and you may hate it. AI is the No. 1 ranked show in America when it is on, so obviously others like it too. You may not, and that is ok, it all depends on what you like personally.

I am not the best writer of course, but I write good stuff. I think I could reach the top spot as I have mentioned before. It all depends on what I write in the future though. And hopefully the wrestling fans of B/R will be along for the ride.

Tyler- Very true it all depends on what you write on in the future! Like Shane Howard said many times you will be on track doing the right things than you would all of a sudden get derailed.

Now speaking of derailed I noticed you have proclaimed your self as "One half of Kings of Controversy". What is this all about?

Joe: Kings of Controversy thing will be revealed in time, so wait for that.

Tyler: I will keep an eye out for that!

Now for the time I been on B/R you have been in alot of controversy on the wrestling section. Is this for attention? Like I said before you will be on track than jump right off and would end up facing blacklash for doing so.

Now just like Gilligan, is Joe Burgett an alter ego? I ask this because of the drama you seem to always have here on B/R. Is this an attention grabber?

Joe- Joe Burgett is my real name, I have the balls to put it out there unlike so many others out there. I do not put my face up, not because I am bad looking, but because I like to keep a certain image.

I like attention, no doubt about that. I mean, I am not going to say I don't. I became popular because of some of the things I did.

I regret some of them, but I am one of the most read wrestling writers on B/R and my stuff is all over the Internet, so I can't say I am unhappy where I am today.

Most of my articles are accurate, am I going to say they are all great? No. But, I have gotten better and most of the recent ones have been getting very good responses.

I have gotten a lot better, so I feel you are inaccurate saying most articles I write are not accurate. Because most actually are.

Tyler: Okay with that said Joe its been great having you on The Showdown today. I do have one question left to ask though.

I see that you enjoy competition as do I. I believe you need competition to make yourself better. With that said I see you as an Rival, or I would like to see you as one, I believe this would help us both craft are skills.

So I would like to challenge you in a write off. I have assembled non-bias judges that consist of JLB, AkD, Shane Howard, and Sulayman. Who would pick the topic of the article, deadline and the winning article.

Do you accept my The Showdown challenge?

Joe- I accept the challenge, but when you say non bias, I am not sure those people are, except Suly.

I think we should get Ron, Ross, Suly, and Kevin. They are not bias towards anyone of us and they know good writing. Heck, that is 3 AOTD winners right there.

I just think the guys you mentioned, other than Suly are not the biggest fans of mine and would vote against me in a heartbeat.

But I accept the challenge of course, just let me know when you want to do it and what it will be on and I'll be ready.

Tyler- Joe this is your intervention, to end and rid all this controversy that has surrounded you, Joe. Joe its time that you realize you need help.

Joe- Dude this is getting a little weird, but whatever I guess I can see what has to be said.

Tyler- Shane would you like to go first?

Shane- Yes I will go first.

Tyler- What would you like to say to Joe?

Shane- Here is what I would say to Joe:

"The one person I've known the longest in my B/R tenure has been you, Joe. We've debated, argued, laughed, and argued some more. We've also spoke through email where you have shared some personal (and hopefully truthful) information to me.

For someone who is in the journalism field and is pursuing the same degree I have, I think we should be able to get along better than we have.

I am confident that many of the writers here are capable of writing quality pieces, including you. Unfortunately, I think you take the easy way out and look for the cheap heat and 'spotlight for the sake of the spotlight.'

This is an open-source network and your name is very Google-able right now. For someone who is hoping to get into the public eye, I would think you would want to portray yourself a bit better.

"I think you need to take a look at the fact that many will see (from articles and comments) that you are a liar, thief, and also someone who doesn't own up to anything.

Could we please see Joe Burgett stand up and take responsibility for his actions. Step up and write better. As one of the senior writers here, you are quickly being left behind by some of the newer talent being shown off.

I think that is why you feel the need for this hilarious group you are now a part of. As a quick and easy way to get some attention back on you.

Step up and be better, as I feel you have it in you. I've seen improvement. Unfortunately, you took two steps forward and about five steps back recently."

Joe- Well that's Shane's opinion and I respect it but I am who I am and I don't see I need to change. I do see my writing does need improvement in some areas but hey we all need improvement.

But I see this as a joke and I will not need to hear from JLB, AkD, and although I respect Sulayman a lot I will not need to hear from him neither.

Well in the movie, Luke Shapiro and his love interest Kristin Squires are talking. As they talk she explains the difference between the two as she looks at the goodness of things of what life brings as he looks at the Wackness of things. Thats exactly what I will be doing here as WWE is some what starting to listen to the fans, did you see The Miz promo? Ladies and Gentlemen of the B/R Wrestling Community, welcome to Skitsafrantic Part 2.

In the first installment, we took a look at four possible gimmicks that could shake things up, and be successful in the WWE.

The four gimmicks that were highlighted were The Phantom, The Punisher, Muhammad Ali, and none other than the deranged Joker.

I asked for some assistance, from my fellow B/R Wrestling Community writers to give their own suggestion on a gimmick idea.

So I give big thanks to Ben Sampson for giving an idea for an Apocalypse type of character.

So in part two we are going to take a look at possible candidates to take the role of the gimmicks and how to make the gimmick a success.

When it comes to an gimmick in the wrestling world, it is either an hit or a bad miss. Gimmicks can make you shine or just simply get denied by the crowd. So to make an good gimmick, there have to be keys to unlock the door to success.

Names like Undertaker, well especially the Undertaker as his gimmick has been the longest gimmick I know of to make an impact right of the bat, from his debut all the way until today.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Bret Hart, HBK, Triple H and others have all had to test the waters with gimmicks in till the right one fell right in front of their face to show them the road to greatness.

With WWE's recent failures, notably Kizarny (I really am still mad about that, honestly how you going to hire someone who cant...Never mind that will take all day to let all that out (laughs)), Kevin Thorn, Boogeyman and a long list of names that just make you want to break your TV screen just at the sight of them.

So this brought me to this, Skitsafrantic, and maybe WWE could actually get an hint of what fans want to see.

SO LET THE CRAZINESS BEGIN

THE PHANTOM

First you would need a real good background why is the reason The Phantom is watching and waiting for the moment to do what he is going to do.

There are endless possibilities for this gimmick, revenge on an fellow wrestler, a cold hearted stalker of a lovely diva, or just wanting to destroy the WWE.

The Phantom could hang around watching and waiting, disturbing and disrupting the WWE Universe for unknown reasons.

This could be a great intro to a struggling superstar, and once their identity is revealed, this could blast them to greatness maybe.

POSSIBLE CANDIDATES

Now thinking of an character for this gimmick could be easy and hard at the same time. First you would have to decide on the character's main goal and plot.

I see it as an introducing gimmick. This means not long lasting just to grab the WWE Universe attention, and watch you have it reveal the true identity. I would want to fill the role with an struggling superstar.

So my picks would be Zach Ryder, Curt Hawkins, or Charlie Haas. Ryder and Hawkins looked to be a promising tag team, but we would soon to come to find out that they would be Edge's lackeys and just that.

These two have the talent and skills to succeed in the WWE but need a major push to do so, as WWE doesn't seem to know what to do with them like most of their talents.

Now Charlie Haas has had more success than those two, but still cannot get over the lower card status, as I still see him not in the ranks of mid-card.

Once part of the self-proclaimed "The World's Greatest Tag Team", to now where he can't decide who he wants to be (by acting like other superstars from the past and present).

Now whoever were to claim the rights to the role would come in just stalking and interfering matches but will not be shown, the lights will go out and something would have already taken place.

As the week progress the fans will notice strange things happening, messages from this Phantom of lack of respect and all the hard work that has been un-noticed.

This character's main plot would be to disrupt their brand and fellow superstars to finally get noticed.

Once The Phantom reveals himself, he should get that boost they need to succeed in the WWE.

THE JOKER

The Joker is portrayed as a master criminal whose characterization has varied from that of a mass murderer and terrorist to a goofy trickster-thief.

He revels in chaos and destruction, believing it to be hysterical (Thanks, Wikipedia).

Why so serious? I will tell you why, because this would make a great WWE gimmick. Far from the clown you used to know as Doink the Clown, this gimmick can set fear into the PG fans everywhere.

Destruction and playing jokes at the same time would make some great TV time for the WWE.

Now Sulayman, brought up a good point, "The underlying message behind Joker's massacre would be ignored and he'd just be a villain and I wouldn't want that."

Very true Sulayman, because every gimmick/character has to take the route of being an heel or babyface a few times in their career.

POSSIBLE CANDIDATES

Okay for this role I once again see Hawkins or Ryder to take lead of this role too. But to be more honest I would rather see a fresh new talent that we never seen before to cause chaos in the WWE.

Now obviously there are many things this character could do to disrupt the WWE Universe, but as an face, what could be done?

First, I see this character coming in as an very crazy character. The back story would be as an kid he would be beaten up and bullied, and he enjoyed it and laughed.

So fellow kids would compare his laugh to the one of The Jokers and he would than take that nickname.

Finally one day this Joker could not take it any more and went crazy and was eventually sent away for his act of crime, but has returned to his old ways and wants to shake up the WWE.

Now for this gimmick to work as an Face character I can see him turning on a fellow heel and instead of doing his crazy acts on the faces, it would now be focused on the heels.

But he would still act weird and keep the faces wondering by giving them riddles and laughing and just plan being nuts still.

MUHAMMAD ALI

Muhammad Ali wasn't a comic book character but could and would make a great gimmick.

Every WWE superstar wants to be the greatest, that is why they are in the game, right?

So why not have a cocky heel or baby face trash talk competition like no other, showing their swagger and never lets you hear the last of it if they get a victory over you.

This character in the boxing ring would be great in the WWE ring, with slick promos, and jokes that will crack fans up.

POSSIBLE CANDIDATES

Now thanks to Shane once again for pointing something out, "Do you think that MVP is kinda, sorta trying to play that Ali role with his uber-confident act?"

Yes, I do. But I don't think he feels the whole role itself, I think more cockiness, more swagger, more jabs at competitors would help fulfill the role.

Now the other candidate is none other than Shelton Benjamin. I have a good reason for this too, as a lot of fans say he has no mic skills that is why he is still in the position he is in.

So my main pick would be Benjamin, as MVP's character is starting to become a success.

Now with this gimmick, Shelton would be able to work the mic, and the crowd more he can have that greatness swagger, and not only would he be able to talk about it, he can back it up.

THE PUNISHER

The Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals in general by using all manner of weaponry, seeking revenge on the ones who took his family's life.

This could make a great babyface character or even a flip-flop character, a character you don't know which way they are going to react.

This Punisher character can seek revenge on the ones of the WWE roster who took him out of action in until he gets every last one that did so.

But just because he seems like a heel, don't take his kindness for weakness as he can also turn on his fellow faces to get to the top.

This dark baby-face could be a fresh new idea that no one has seen before.

POSSIBLE CANDIDATES

Before I decide to fill this role, I would like to say out of the four gimmicks this was the most popular one.

"My favorite is Punisher out of the bunch...I would love to see someone work the gimmick," said AkD.

"I'd rather be interested in the Punisher gimmick," Said by Sulayman.

"I would love to see that Punisher gimmick. He can be a face but does heel-ish tactics all in the name of justice," said Shane Howard.

Not only would this be an hit with my fellow B/R writers this would be a superstar blasting to the top of the WWE roster.

Now for an candidate I would like to see a brand new superstar, because this would be a role that you don't know know anything about the wrestler who would take the role.

This character would need to be mysterious, and not expecting what is going to happen ever time he appears on TV.

This could be a huge hit for the WWE, and would be a fresh and new idea that could draw in more viewers.

BEN SAMPSON PICK

"What about a Apocalypse-style gimmick?

Think about it; a wrestler who can see the future. Could make a good foreteller, or a heel wrestler who proclaims that he can see angels and God."

Now I brought a good point to Ben's attention, "But didn't we see a gimmick like this in WWE, wasn't he name Mordecai?"

"Yeah, we did. But, he said God had chosen him to rid the earth of sinners, but he never said he could see him.

I'd put Randy in that kind of role, or maybe DiBiase or Rhodes; they could live up to their reputation.

If you've got any other suggestions, that'd be great to know." replied Ben.

POSSIBLE CANIDATES

Okay now first I would have to disagree with your picks as Ted DiBiase and Rhodes current roles are working for them and are promising future stars.

Now for the Randy Orton pick I am so, so, so sorry but that is far from were I would go with this gimmick. Now I say this because you have to sit there and think who is the most must see TV right now on WWE Raw.

The only name you can think of is Randy Orton, he has upgraded him self so much the dude is being compared to Austin. So I would leave Orton alone for the time being, as he seems to be fine.

Now I would want this to be a new character but if it were to be an veteran I would just bring the man who started it all and that is Kevin Thorn.

I would also say Mike Knox, but this character would have to really and I mean really be into it.

Now the only way I see this to success is to immediately feud with The Undertaker, by disagreeing with his dark ways like how HBK did it but in more of an obsessed way and freaky way.

The main plan would to be to rid the WWE of evil and bad things that this character feels is wrong with the product.

And like Ben said, he could say he is hearing messages from GOD, to rid the WWE of so and so.

Now after The Undertaker, this gimmick should have enough steam to feud with others and still be interesting and one day be successful as The Undertaker could make you famous (laughs).

I know Jeff was already pretty popular before he battled the Dead Man in an ladder match but after the fans see his heart in that match he skyrocket to fame even more.

Time to Shine: Where's the Respect for Pro Wrestling? (Part 2)

Hard work pays off, or does it?

Athletes go in not only to showcase their talents, but to earn the respect of fans and others around the world.

Every sport gets there props or respect from what the athletes, and the organization achieves on a daily basis, but Pro Wrestling is a whole different story.

Basically when it comes to media outlits, the world of wrestling is treated like the ugly red headed step sister, while the real sports are praised every day.

"People respect them for what they do, absolutely. They are entertainers, actors and athletes. And people do respect them... but not when they compare them to other athletes in actual sports." Said Anthony Ascue on Where's the Respect for Pro Wrestling (Part 1).

But why is this, Anthony? What Pro Wrestlers do in the ring isn't that athletic? Not everybody has the talent to do what some of these wrestlers do every day. To be quite honest, wrestlers work harder than golfers. But just for the fact that wrestling is staged and pre-planned, they are looked down upon.

"When matches can be decided due to interference from a guy dressed as a leprechaun, dont you think this respectability is waived?" said Matt Binks on Part 1

Good point here, well not just good...very good point here, Binks. But what they do in the ring and the skills that they amaze the crowd with, shouldn't that still be respected?

Even though a leprechaun decided the victory by interference, what they do in the ring should still be acknowledged.

"But, I feel that if the actual sports stars can step in a ring with wrestlers and leave the ring, only to tell the wrestlers that it's a much tougher thing than the sports they play, then give some respect to the biz, people," said Shane in Part 1.

Thank you Shane. Because if you seriously look at some of the things that these athletes do, and if you honestly and sit there and go, "I can get up right now and do that," then something must be seriously wrong.

I bet half the people who sit on their couch saying this would even be able to do one drill to save their lives.

"Well of course, what would they be broadcast for beside that? I don't think you'll ever see ESPN do deep in-depth coverage of what so and so could do with his Money in the Bank briefcase," said Anthony Ascue in Part 1.

When you first left this comment on the first edition, I was stuck and couldn't give a good valid response. But I thought about it and here's what I think.

If you look at ESPN's Top Ten and see some of those highlights you would think hmm, I would rather see a wrestling highlight here rather than that boring play.

Just because its pre-determined as to what's going to happen, doesn't mean it is not amazing. For the fact that they know that they have to jump off a 30-foot ladder into a stack of tables (for example) makes it even crazier. How many people would actually attempt such a thing?

Wait, let me take that back, how many people would successfully pull it off without harming themselves or their fellow employee?

Wait, I have a good question here: do you know what a wrestling ring is made of? Well if you don't here is a link to fill you in, http://bleacherreport.com/articles/144536-come-with-me-as-i-expose-what-is-a-wrestling-ring-really-made-of, thanks to Blue Chip.

But basically that thing is hard like wrestling on hard ground. Now for these guys (Benjamin, Bourne, Morrison, Mysterio, and others) to go out there and even attempt to do what they do on that hard ring is well worth a Top Ten than some of the picks that actually make it.

To take it even further even MMA (which is more respected than wrestling now) don't even get highlights on ESPN, even though they have MMA Live but that is an Internet show.

Now I know Binks, your valid point was about the titles not being compared to boxing and other sports titles.

"A boxer trains hard everyday of his life to perfect his art. He becomes the best at what he does, and what happens? He becomes the champ and stays the champ until somebody better beats him.

A wrestler trains hard everyday of his life to perfect his art. He becomes the best at what he does, and what happens?

He gets ignored unless his his face fits, he can sell t-shirts or is married to a relative of the boss.

If wrestling was a real sport, which deserved the credibility of other sports titles, then someone like Benjamin would be the champ, but hes not.

Its not the wrestlers' fault. They deserve some credibility as athletes. But the titles are pretty much just props in a storyline," said Binks.

These are some great points, but I am not saying for the World Heavyweight title to be just as significant as an MMA or Boxing title but it should be looked at more than just a prop.

These guys honestly throw down a river of tears just to wrap on of those "props" around there waste. These guys give their all, and sacrifice their Wife and kids from leaving them by being on the road, just to become a top star one day.

Now although I do not hold that some passion like I once did for wrestling, it will still be with me in some way, even though that sounds so corny it is honestly true.

I really don't enjoy the program like I once did, I have found a new passion and that is MMA. But for me to say to show respect to wrestling, doesn't that at least show something?

People you are not alone, I am not a fan of the whole dumb gimmicks (vampires, leprechauns beating established wrestlers, and please don't get me started on Kizarny) I can't stand them. I also am not a fan of some of the story lines that go on.

But should they (wrestling organizations), change themselves just to fit in with the popular crowd (real sports)? No.

Well they could make the story lines and wrestling gimmicks less cheesy but they should not change one self just to be showcased like the NFL, NBA and others.

But what should happen is more respect for what these guys do on an daily basis. Yes Anthony, I do agree with you they do get respected but by wrestling fans.

If you ask a non wrestling fan who honestly cant bear the sight of wrestling what they think of it and do they respect what they do, what do you think they will say?

I honestly feel, it will be like the boxing syndrome towards MMA. If you don't understand let me explain when Mayweather was asked about the sport of MMA and how he feels about it, he obviously didnt show respect to the sport.

In the interview, Mayweather basically said that they wouldnt be able to hang with him for a minute and just called it human cockfighting.

So if we were to do that test for wrestling, we would probably get an similar reaction. Now if wrestling was truly respected than we would see more endorsement deals more companies willing to back up the world of wrestling.

Not only that organizations would be more willing to bring companies to their station, but ever since the WCW demise, they are not feeling too willing.

Will wrestling ever get the respect it deserves? Maybe, well honestly no just in my true opinion, wrestling will always be treated like the ugly redhead.

But next time when you see it while surfing the channels, think twice before you judge, maybe try and watch what they actually do (Benjamin, Morrison, HBK, Y2J, Bourne, Tyson Kidd and the list goes on), than maybe one mind set could be changed.

Skitsafrantic: Gimmicks That Could Work in the WWE (Part I)

When it comes to the world of Pro Wrestling there are many tools one has to obtain to achieve in the sqare ring. From the work of the mic, in ring abilities, promos, physical attributes and even a single look or stare for example the people's eye brow but one thing is for sure you have to connect to the crowd. Like the things mentioned above there is one specific thing that can make you succeed or fail and that is your character or gimmick. Several of wrestlers have been through this process in till they found the right character to reach for the stars. Guys like Austin and The Rock are two of the most notable of this curious case of gimmicks. Austin started as a bleached blood in the WCW and than moved to the WWF were other characters failed and finally they gave up and let Austin be Austin but turned way up. The Rock was known as Rockie back in the day and was booed and booed and oh yeah booed some more in till finally he really gave them something to hate and that was his cockyness and swagger which led him being an Icon. But for some its not that simple as some dont have the traits or personality to reach that status like that they need a back ground they need something to push them and that something is a gimmick. The Undertaker is and should be known as the best gimmick to work and Pro Wrestling history. Yes he did take a break from the dark side and became a kick a** bike rider, but The Undertaker dark side will always be best known. This gimmick/character has held a untouch streak at the biggest wrestling event of them all WrestleMania, has held different titles and has been an main event star basically sence day one of arrival. So why cant this work for other superstars, because WWE creative team got their heads stuck up you know what (laughs). No more Hornswoggles, Boogeymans, or any other dumb gimmicks that you know wont work and please dont ever, ever and I mean ever try and put effort and promote a wrestlers gimmick and have them come in the ring and cant even wrestle (Kizarny). The superstars who should get promoted and the time is the ones who have just a little trouble getting that little extra push. This is why I present you the Skitsafrantic series. I plan on making this a 3 parter, first I will show you my choices and explain why. Second I will have you give your ideas and thoughts and if your idea is popular, the gimmick will make it on to the list but you have to explain why. After the list is officially decided I will present part 2, whick I will match possible candidates to this gimmicks. Part trey will be storylines and how they can continue to keep the gimmick fresh and long lasting and one day be a top superstar.

Time to Shine: Where's the Respect for Pro Wrestling?

Every sport has it's reward, matter of fact every task at hand has it's reward.

From a long list of sports like NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, and MMA there is a title or trophy to take you a step further for greatness, and to single a team or a single athlete as the best at what they do either in the world or in their respective league.

Sports Entertainment (Pro Wrestling), is no different day in, and day out athletes and entertainers come to prove that they are the best at what they do.

So why is it that Pro Wrestling is not respected like the other sports that were listed above. Many would say, "Well it's pre-determined", "It's so fake, they are not athletes, they are no better than the real athletes".

OK it is pre-determined, on who will win and how they will win but does this make their titles less important? No.

Pro Wrestling is something you dedicate your life to, your either give it your all or get ready for a tough and bumpy road.

These "Fake" entertainers as some like to say, although preset on what will happen go in the ring and lay their bodies on the line and go on the road for hours and do it again.

Just like the NBA or NFL its no different, these guys give it their all some have great rewards as others fall and suffer from the stress and pain due to the amount of time spent on the road away from family and friends and going out there and dealing with aches and pains.

This is why the titles like the WWE title and World Heavyweight Title are just as great as fellow sports.

When you see a long journey of a Pro Wrestler's career finally reach its ultimate goal, you see it in their face that "this (title) means the WORLD to me".

Now you cant fake the tears, and sweat and energy these wrestlers give to reach this golden opportunity to be rewarded their company or brand's top prize.

Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit could be the best examples after Benoit one the title at WrestleMania 20 (although he won a title in WCW) you could tell this moment would be with them forever as they sat back and watch the veterans get their turn, it was finally their time to shine.

That moment in the ring between the to is like asking the NFL superstars what they are going to do next. That moment at WrestleMania 20 was priceless (well besides the charge of ticket or cable payment.

The WWE major titles or TNA major title or any other Pro Wrestling company major title should not seem less important than other major sports titles.

Wrestlers have put their bodies through hell and back just to get to the top of the mountain. Some still have not gotten that chance after years of diligent work, but still go out there thinking in the back of their minds maybe this will be my time.

Guys like Edge, Cena, Triple H, and even Ric Flair, a guy who won a World title 16 times, always have that gleam or glow in their eyes every time they hold a championship.

So why not more attention to the world of wrestling? Results being organized and planned, some feel its just silly and dumb or just a complete waste of time. But when it comes to being respected for what they do, they should get the same amount as other respective sports.

These guys might be silly at moments or just crazy, but at the end of the night, their goal or duty is to become one day that main Man or Woman to lead their division and carry the company on their backs.

So maybe next time when a conversation of great athletes come up maybe, just maybe you should consider a Pro Wrestler.

The Blueprint For TNA Wrestling, And The Reconstruction For The WWE.

As the days go past us, and yesterday just becomes memories, things become older and basically things change. So there come's a time for a rebuilding stage to start off fresh and create a new beginning, a beginning to take you back to the top.

So why not take the world of Pro Wrestling and take Sports and Entertainment to Dr. 90210 and give it a face lift and a whole new beginning.

Far gone are the day's off the Attitude Era, the Monday Night Wars, the real main stream exposure and memories that will stick for a life time.

As Wrestling gets older the stars who made it Pro Wrestling what it has become start to get older. Austin, Sting, Hogan, Rock, Nash, Hart, and a list that goes on and on although too are still active there great days have flew by like a jet plane.

It is time for Pro Wrestling to have a new start, to create new memorie's, to try and attempt to make the "Great Days" of wrestling the past and to look at the future.

TNA Wrestling blasted on to the scene with a new beginning with fresh face's, a new stage and took something we knew as the Cruiserweight Division and made it to so much more.

But as the exposure started to hit and the veteran's started to come and recognition set in TNA Wrestling started to fall flat on their face.

Now it's time to give a new direction make a new foundation it's time for.........

THE BLUEPRINT FOR TNA WRESTLING

Sorry Matt Morgan it's time to talk about the real BLUEPRINT this time.

With a great talented roster, that can amaze you at any moment and a new fresh idea like the X Division, you wonder why isn't TNA more respected than what it is now.

Well you don't have to wonder no more with the dumb gimmick's, and all the hype of over exagerated gimmick match's it start's to become a little um boring.

I am not going to say name's but some on this very B/R Wrestling Community can't even watch two minutes of the TNA Wrestling Impact program.

It seem's TNA went from making their own path to following the step's of the past, and being influenced by fellow company the WWE.

It's time to take a step back and reset the vision you were trying to build TNA, so let's take a look at what can be done, not saying it will help but it could earn you more viewer's than rather have them turn it after two minute's (laughs).

The X-Division

If any thing this is what grabbed my attention to even view TNA Wrestling. The fast pace action not just by Cruiserweight sized wrestlers but wrestler's who could compete at Heavyweight the main one being Samoa Joe.

But TNA took the X-Division and what was known as NO LIMIT'S, became something we have all ready scene for so many years ( Cruiser weight).

There was a time when the X-Division even took the main event spot, TNA showcased their title's like everyone was just as important but those day's are done.

So what can be done?

Instead of focusing on the Knockout Division and upgrading that it is time to put effort back into the X-Division.

Don't highly depend on a gimmick match for the X-Division to succeed, it is has been proved that you can have a great match with no weapon's (Undertaker vs HBK).

Spice the division up and make main stream storylines for the division.

MEM

I honestly don't see the point of this storyline no more it went from showing respect to I have no idea.

TNA like's to think they are helping and putting over the younger talent with this storyline but they need to wake up and realize they have failed. The only one who is showing success from this is AJ Styles by capturing the Legends title.

This storyline needs to end before it becomes another NWO. They need to shake things up and make a shock and end this storyline with a bang.

First before that ending happen's they really need to do what this storyline what it was suppose to do and that is put over the young talent.

GIMMICKS

Stop trying to be like WWE and follow their humor and etc because it is not working one bit, it hurts my eyes and ears.

Don't try to follow others make your self the leader, make a new beginning. It has been proved that being your self works (Austin, The Rock).

You don't need to use gimmick match's all the dang time because honestly they suck, just the name of the match sounds unattractive Doomsday hell of blood match (laugh's) that's not really a name but I wouldn't be shocked if TNA used it.

Also why would you put a star you were building to become great under a mask just to succeed, that make's no sense at all to me. I would rather see Kaz and Daniels as just that Kaz and Daniels rather than Suicide.

TNA JUST BE YOU

Just be you get all that corny crap out of here and stop with the dumb storylines that we seen before but you put your own dumb twist to it.

TNA right now your having an identify crisis people miss WCW well you can have those great day's back by just watching TNA.

Don't let your mind play tricks on you, it might seem like it says TNA but it really is WCW right before they got canceled.

Basically TNA it's time to start building your roster, and start promoting the younger talent and get their name's out there.

Kurt, Nash, Booker T, Sting and all those other guys will not and cannot be there forever so it's time to step your game up or fail like the one's before you.

It's time to start pushing performer's like Roode, Styles, Daniels and have Kaz lose the mask and just be Kaz.

WWE'S RECONSTRUCTION

Well this is not going to take long well I hope but let's get it started.

Okay WWE you recently brought my attention back into wrestling but you are pushing me back out once again.

You have pulled some suprises but the end result was not so satisfying. WWE, you are forgetting what made you win the battle in the first place and that is pushing younger talent and making great memorie's that no one will ever forget.

It's time to push the names like Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, MVP, Mr. Kennedy (when healthy), and tons of other superstars.

But no you would rather send us through de ja vu like we are all Denzel Washington. For a few year's now we have seen the same star's in main event status with the similar main event's at Mania.

Just to name a few Cena, Edge, Batista, Triple H and few more but it seem's WWE think's these name's will deliver every year.

Someone said Vince McMahon was losing touch with this generation of fans (Shane Howard) and you know what that someone might be right.

Just look who he picked to perform at this year's WM, Kid Rock, yes Kid Rock.

1. He is not from Houston or no part of Texas

2. Who listens to Kid Rock any more?

WWE if you what to keep up with today's times, you need to target your audience especially now you went PG.

I did not come up with this idea but think about it if you have Hannah Montana perform at Mania the kid's would go wild, you would get rating's and buy's like nothing.

Not saying I am a fan but in less your a long time wrestling fan, no body is watching any more you have lost those Attitude Era fans once that ride stopped they hoped on to new things.

It's time to build a new support grab people's attention with names like Lil Wayne, Montana, heck even 50 Cent do something that no one would expect, and I mean no one people love the shock factor.

Also it is time to kill these dumb gimmicks that are as dumb as TNA's. If I were a current wrestler on the roster and when asked if I were beat by Hornswoggle I would want to quit right then and there.

Come on this thing has been played out, and has became old and boring and to be honest Hornswoggle is holding Finlay back.

Now let me get to Marella although he has the laugh factor it is time to have him do what he was actually signed for and that is to wrestle stop embarrassing talent with these dumb gimmick's.

It would be great if Marella wrestled great and put on an awesome match and be funny at the same time, because this gimmick is getting old.

And for Khali I just have two words for that: FIRE HIM.

Stop signing wrestler's who can't perform,€ why would you want to sign a wrestler if you know they are not going to reach the top one day.

Did you honestly think Marrela, Khali and Hornswoggle and others like Boogeyman would be future main status staple's for the company and be long time champs.

Stop pushing guys who don't deserve it and push the guys who been going in day and night and working hard but receive nothing for their hard work.

And ultimately Mr. McMahon I think it's time to BOW OUT.

Stop the Madness: Wrestlers Just Be Wrestlers Please!

In the world of sports some are raised to be great at a specific sport while other's are multi-talented athelet's and dominate at more than one sport.

We have all seen this happend in the world of sport's even the great Air Jordan to a step back, to honor his passing father by playing the sport of baseball in the majors. After that stint Jordan ventured back to what made him into an icon which is basketball.

Recently we have seen a similar case big Brock Lesnar was a promising star for the WWE for year's to come. But do to disagreement's and Lesnar's frustration of the hectic Pro Wrestling schedule and many other factor's Brock decided to take a step back also.

Lesnar took his weapon of a body and decided to test his skill's in the NFL, with the Minnesota Viking's although he looked decent Lesnar was eventually cut. Lesnar was lost, stuck in a position he was not use to he felt he had a knife to his neck (The reason for his big sword tattoo to the neck).

But then Lesnar would find his true calling in the world of MMA.

Lesnar looked dominate and won his first showing in his MMA debut, so good of a showing the UFC found themselves calling the big man up.

Lesnar would than fight off against former champion Frank Mir, although he lost to a heel hook, Lesnar was destroying the former Heavyweight champ and due to less experience got him self caught and tapped out.

But Lesnar proved in his next fight, that he is far from done. Lesnar faced off against another great talent Heath Herring. But right when the bell rang in Lesnar's home state Minnosota Heath would find out he was in for a long night.

Lesnar blasted Herring with a hit so hard, it basically made him do a back flip. Lesnar won that fight and was so impressive earned himself a what would become a controversial title shot.

Due to his lack of experience and basically still a rookie, many fans were outraged that UFC provided Lesnar with a title shot. But Lesnar would not disappoint the decision makers as he completed a goal that seemed to be far away which was to win the UFC Heavyweight title.

With this much success other wrestler's couldn't help to take notice. Lesnar created a "Band Wagon" that was growing rapid.

Other wrestler's decided if Lesnar can do it well hey I can do it to. Okay it's great that some feel they can do this but MMA is a whole different world, you are either in it or not, basically don't play with fire.

After learning of Bobby Lashley's questionable decision, I now understood why Dana White was not so interested in signing other wrestlers.

Instead of just being talk Lesnar gave his all and dedicated himself to the sport and did what he had to do to get to the very top.

Lashley was heading in the similar direction, but decided to shock the MMA world and the Wrestling world at once.

He made a shocking suprise at TNA's annual Lock Down PPV, yes this will provide him with money and etc but was it the right move? Some say yes (mostly TNA fan's), while other's think it was the dumbest thing Lashley could do to hurt his chance's of getting in the UFC (MMA fans).

Because UFC either want's you all in or don't even bother, so I hope this is just a tour stop and he will pick up steam once again other wise kiss the UFC good bye. Dana White does not want to worry about one of his fighter's getting injured due to a wrestling match, Dana want's his fighter's focused and ready.

But I will say Lashley has a good head on his shoulder's it seem's like he know's what he is doing, but was this move a little too early? I think so as he has a hard fight coming this summer against an even bigger man, Bob Sapp this guy is a monster and has been on a roll as of late.

But with Lashley now debuting with TNA it wont be to long before he make's his in ring debut, and training and wrestling that just seem's like a deadly mixture. Also thank's to Shane Howard for pointing this out to me, but isn't the reason Lashley left WWE because the hectic schedule.

Yes you travel the road non-stop but MMA training tires you out just by it self, now wrestling to add with that especially in TNA which is a walking gimmick match company we might see a fall in what could have been a great MMA career.

But Lashley is grown and I am going to leave that at that. But something is still bothering me wait I know what it is

TR: TYLER RANTS

Okay welcome to another great addition of TR: Tyler Rants. This addition is going to focus mainly on one person and one person only as he is the only one doing something that is bothering me so far.

Okay this sparked this whole article and that man is Kurt Angle. You ask why? Well let me tell you why.

I have said this in comment's and such but I am just going to get it out all here so I wont have to say it again.

Kurt, Kurt, Kurt man what are you thinking I respect you in all but the more you open your mouth about MMA, the more and more that respect begin's to shrink.

I forgot when but after Lesnar made a huge statement in the world of MMA, Kurt decided hey I am just as talented as he is, so why not me.

Kurt has talked, and um talked and talked about how he is going to train how he is in touch with UFC, how he plan's on still fighting and etc but that is it, all talk.

Kurt there is something you need to realize you are 40 something, someone correct me if I am wrong, and Liddell is 40 something and he was a dominate force in the world of MMA but look what has happened, his time seem's to have passed.

So for you still trying to talk and even think about attempting to enter the MMA world is plan stupid, what would it look like for a 40 year old who has no experience besides wrestling to enter Mix Martial Arts. Is this bothering any body else?

Basically until you (Kurt Angle) actually do something that will have MMA fan's take you seriously, don't talk about MMA at all, not one bit please.

Matter a fact a few years ago wasn't Daniel Puder (Tough Enough Winner, not with WWE any more), a former MMA fighter at the time, make you look like a fool in "your ring"?

Bobby Lashley: Are You The Ultimate Fighter? Part 2

Well it seem's Bobby Lashley has finally "CROSSED THE LINE", well to TNA wrestling that is.

TNA Wrestling was promising a former World Champion many expected to see the "Human Wrecking Machine" Taz, but the fans in attendance at TNA Wrestling's annual Lock Down event were set for a shock as the big bulldozer Bobby Lashley hit the ramp and made a shocking appearance.

No one and I mean no one expected this, well not at this time as B Lash was molding and shaping and building a lovely road to the top of the MMA world.

Some say this was the a huge step back and will hurt his goals of one day reaching the UFC (MMA Fans), while others (TNA Wrestling Fans) say this is huge and the best thing that could have ever happened to the company.

Well I see it as a win-win situation not only TNA is trying to step up there game and really become competitors to the MONSTERIOUS WWE, they are allowing Lashley to continue to build his MMA career.

Yes this could lead to an over worked tired out Lashley, but for those readers who really don't know about TNA, their schedule is easier to handle rather than WWE's stressful every day on the road schedule. Also Lashley trains in Florida and it is only a few hour drive for him to do his thing at TNA.

But their is one big problem here UFC is not feeling this whole jumping back to the wrestling ring decision. But if Lashley successfully beats his biggest task so far for a fight there is no doubt UFC cannot pay attention to the man.

If UFC were to offer Lashley a contract or even to come on TUF he better drop TNA and Wrestling all together like a bad habit.

"I think appearing on 'The Ultimate Fighter' would be something great. I saw that, and they said, 'Heavyweights,' and I was like, 'Yeah, let's jump on it.' I think it would be great because what I'm trying to do right now is prove myself," said Lashley.

So Lashley don't back on your word don't become a Kurt Angle and just be all talk, continue to do the right things to be a top star in the world of MMA if TNA and your training/MMA can mix with one another we might be seeing a bright future for Lashley's MMA career and TNA Wrestling.
