A Historic Day for the B/R Wrestling Community

Yesterday was one of the most historic and iconic days in the illustrious history of Bleacher Report. Ladies and gentlemen, brace yourself because I am going to give you a play-by-play recap of the chaotic events that took place on Bleacher Report yesterday.

You will not believe what you are about to read. Here is a ground-breaking look into the events that occurred yesterday on Bleacher Report. Timestamps are included!

7:01 A.M.—Joe Burgett wrote a breaking news article.

7:02 A.M.—Josh Swell wrote a Hulk Hogan breaking-news article to try and keep pace with Joe Burgett.

7:31 A.M.—Josh Swell, Kevin Canny, and Sam Brown marched directly into Zander Freund's office and demanded that the wrestling community rankings be updated immediately! They all settled for bottled water instead.

9:01 A.M.—Breaking news on the identity of M: In a shocking development, M revealed himself to be none other than Carl Winslow off of the hit television show "Family Matters."

9:34 A.M.—Adrian Staehle set a record by putting up his 17th article of the day, and he did it all before brunch.

11:41 A.M.—A group known as the "Amazon Forums Posse" wreaked havoc on Bleacher Report. This group of thugs consisting of Jay Rob, Scotty Miller, and Joseph Daniel landed articles on the front page on the wrestling section in their debuts. The Assassins better watch out!

12:59 P.M.—Breaking News: Joe Burgett was offered a contract by the WWE to manage ECW superstar Tyson Kidd. According to my sources, Vince McMahon loved Joe Burgett's Tyson Kidd Bleacher Report article.

1:00 P.M.—Breaking News: Joe Burgett turned down WWE's contract to stay the top writer on Bleacher Report. The B/R community embraced Joe Burgett with a "One More Year" chant.

1:01 P.M.—Joe Burgett wrote a breaking-news article about himself turning down a contract from the WWE.

1:02 P.M.—Josh Swell wrote a breaking-news Hulk Hogan article. At this point, Josh Swell has changed his mind 12 times on whether or not Hulk Hogan will be in a match at WrestleMania XXV.

2:02 P.M.—Breaking News: Shane Howard retired as a middle school teacher and is now working for Bleacher Report full-time! It's about time Shane!

2:56 P.M.—Jason LeBlanc finished the longest article ever published on Bleacher Report. The article maxed out at a whopping 176 pages! Great article Goose!

4:44 P.M.—AkD wrote a very popular article, but we are all still trying to figure out what the title of the article means. I love AkD's article titles!

6:33 P.M.—Ryan Michael rewrote the Bleacher Report thesaurus.

7:12 P.M.—Ray Bogusz set a Bleacher Report record by editing 3,412 articles in one day! This man is a machine.

8:39 P.M.—Joe Burgett wrote a breaking-news article.

8:40 P.M.—Josh Swell wrote a Hulk Hogan breaking-news article.

10:01 P.M.—Ron Johnson posted a SmackDown recap article with unbelievable quickness. Look at the timestamp! I am no wrestling genius, but I believe SmackDown goes off at 10.

11:12 P.M.—Adrian Staehle pumped out another eight articles before he called it a night.

11:58 P.M.—Josh Swell wrote a list/rankings article that ranked his Top 250 WCW Thursday Night Thunder matches of all-time. The article currently has only two reads.

The purpose of this article was to demonstrate how much free time I have on my hands.

If I mentioned your name in this article, that is because I either like you or respect you as a writer. It was all in good fun!

And just so this article was not a complete waste of time, I read on prowrestling.net that Mr. Kennedy will not be returning to the ring until after WrestleMania XXV.

Thanks for reading,

The Five Superstars Who Will Dominate the WWE for the Next Decade

"The King of Lists" is back and I have composed a ranking of the five WWE superstars that will dominate the industry for the next 10 years.

I have taken into consideration that The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Batista are all at least 39 years old. Out of these four guys, Triple H is the only WWE superstar that is not 40 years old. Triple H will be turning 40 in July of this year. I think these four guys will continue to have a big impact on the industry, but they will not dominate the business like they have been.

So, without further delay...

The Five Superstars Who Will Dominate the WWE for The Next Decade

1. Randy Orton

Everyone seems to be sold on the fact that Randy Orton is the present and future of the WWE. His current storyline with Triple H is off the charts and he is finally going to get to shine in the main event at WrestleMania XXV this year. Randy Orton is one of the best heels in the business and he will only get better with experience.

2. Edge

At one point in time, Edge was being labeled the sole future of the WWE. Edge was the most controversial superstar in the WWE when he was having live sex shows on Raw and doing everything by his own rules. If Edge can ever escape his current storyline with Vickie Guerrero, he will get back to being one of the most talked about guys in the business.

3. Jeff Hardy

I know a lot of you are not sold on Jeff Hardy being a regular main eventer in the WWE. I personally think Jeff will win a world title many times in his career. I do not think he is a flash in the pan like Rey Mysterio. When he won the WWE title last year, he was receiving similar pops as Steve Austin and The Rock in their primes. After Jeff gets past his current feud with Matt Hardy, the sky will be the limit for the charismatic enigma.

4. Chris Jericho

I stated earlier that Randy Orton was one of the best heels in the business. The reason I said that is because Chris Jericho is hands down the best heel in the WWE as of right now. Jericho is 38 years old, but he is fresh because of his two year absence from 2005 until 2007. Jericho is pure gold on the mic. He makes every word that comes out of his mouth believable. He is so great on the mic that fans are actually attacking him.

5. John Cena

I personally hate John Cena with a passion, but for me to leave out Cena would be an injustice on my part. The kids love this guy and he will stay at the top of the industry for years to come. There is no denying the fact that Cena is extremely dedicated to his work.

That is my list of the five superstars that will dominate the WWE. I am also very high on Ted Dibiase Jr and John Morrison. I see future main event potential for both of these superstars.

Let me know what you think, whether you agree or disagree.

Thanks for reading,

Breaking News: Hulk Hogan Undergoes Back Surgery

According to prowrestling.net, Hulk Hogan underwent back surgery last week. This leaves his status for a possible match at WrestleMania XXV unlikely, but still possible. Two weeks ago, Hogan said he spoke to Vince McMahon about appearing at WrestleMania, but was unable to reach an agreement.

While the type of Hogan's surgery is unknown, doctors generally require a six week recovery time. Hogan was walking around a few hours following surgery, which is not uncommon, but it would be surprising if his doctor cleared him to work a match at WrestleMania just five weeks after surgery.

In my opinion, this news should put to rest the rumors about Hulk Hogan wrestling a match at WrestleMania. At Hogan's age and considering his health status, I do not think he will be wrestling a match of any kind at WrestleMania XXV.

The only question now is who will Chris Jericho wrestle at 'Mania since Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin seem to no longer be possibilities at this time.

Let me know who you think will end up wrestling Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XXV.

Thanks for reading,

Huge WrestleMania XXV News: Hogan, Batista, JBL, Divas, and More

HULK HOGAN NEWS...

For weeks now, there have been rumors that Hulk Hogan will be apart of WrestleMania XXV in some capacity. It was originally rumored that Hogan would be facing John Cena and lately there has been talk that he would stand up for the legends and face Chris Jericho and WrestleMania XXV.

Hulk Hogan posted this on the internet this week...

"Yo Hulkamaniacs, what are your favorite letters? Currently mine are C and J or maybe J and C".

Obviously, C and J indicates Chris Jericho and J and C indicates John Cena.

This almost guarantees that Hulk Hogan will be wrestling either Chris Jericho or John Cena at WrestleMania XXV.

There are also rumors circulating that Hogan will be on Monday Night Raw at some point in the next couple of weeks. My guess is Hulk Hogan vs Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XXV.

JBL NEWS...

In JBL's latest blog on the WWE universe site, John Bradshaw Layfield is promising that "something historic" will occur at WrestleMania XXV. JBL is not scheduled to compete in a match at this time, but he promises his involvement on the show will shock the wrestling fans.

A lot of people are speculating that JBL and Ron Simmons will return to WrestleMania XXV as the APA, but I do not think that will happen. Ron Simmons was just released be the WWE, and it sounds like JBL has something bigger in store for us. Your guess is as good as mine.

BATISTA NEWS...

Batista said he will be physically ready for WrestleMania XXV in a recent interview with PhilStar.com. There were reports that Batista would be out of action until June or August, so that is way ahead of schedule.

Current storylines already seem to be built for WrestleMania but, I definitely see Batista making his return at WrestleMania XXV. I think he will end up having an impact on WrestleMania in some form.

DIVAS NEWS...

The WWE is planning on a big 25 Diva Battle Royal for WrestleMania XXV. The company has contacted many former Divas about being apart of this special match. Trish Stratus is a name that should pop in our heads first. She has been rumored to be in a match at WrestleMania XXV for months now. You can also bank on Sunny being in this Diva Battle Royal. This match would be the cherry on top of my WrestleMania sundae.

Let me know what you think about any of these topics.

John Cena WM XXV Plans and Why I Firmly Disagree

John Cena's WrestleMania XXV plans...

On Monday Night Raw, we saw John Cena beat Edge by disqualification. Vickie Guerrero then declared the Big Show as the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title.

I was elated to hear this news from Vickie Guerrero. I thought John Cena was going to be out of the World Heavyweight Title picture. I thought we would then see a great build up for Edge vs Big Show at WM XXV.

Currently, the word backstage is that it will end up being a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Title involving Edge, Big Show, and John Cena. In the next two weeks on Smackdown, we will see more build up for this planned triple threat match.

Personally, I loved the idea of Edge turning face and finally ending his marriage with Vickie Guerrero. I am so eager to see Edge spear Vickie right through the Smackdown ring. Edge's relationship with Vickie Guerrero has to be over now!

Edge's crowning WrestleMania moment...

I also had thoughts of Edge vs The Big Show being similar to Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III. I would have loved to have seen the Rated R Superstar powerslam The Big Show at WrestleMania XXV. This could have been Edge's crowning WrestleMania moment as a WWE superstar.

Edge could have retained the World Heavyweight Title by locking the Big Show in the sharpshooter. I honestly think that a one on one match between Edge and The Big Show could have worked as long as they built Edge up as a true babyface.

One spear on Vickie and the crowd would be in Edge's hands.

In the beginning of 2006, everybody was labeling Edge as the future of the WWE just like everyone is now labeling Randy Orton as the future of the WWE. Edge was the most controversial and exciting WWE superstar at that time.

As for John Cena, I just can't see him fitting into the Edge, Big Show, and Vickie Guerrero love triangle. Unfortunately, I assume that John Cena will win the World Heavyweight Title if he is placed in a match against Edge and The Big Show at WM XXV.

Mickey Rourke may have been the deciding factor...

If Mickey Rourke is still saying no to the WWE, then Hulk Hogan has been rumored to take his place in a match against Chris Jericho at WM XXV. Perhaps that is the reason that a John Cena vs Hulk Hogan match may not happen.

Maybe that is also the reason for the planned direction of the World Heavyweight Title picture.

I hope the WWE has some more curve balls in store for us, but it currently looks like we haven't seen the least of John Cena trying to regain the World Heavyweight Title.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading,

WWE News: Six MITB Ladder Match Participants Confirmed (SmackDown Spoilers)

Six of the eight Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants have been confirmed for WrestleMania XXV. Tonight's double SmackDown tapings confimed three more participants for the MITB Ladder Match.

CM Punk defeated John Morrison and The Miz on Raw to earn the first spot.

Kane defeated Rey Mysterio and Mike Knox on Raw to earn the second spot.

Mark Henry defeated Santino on ECW to earn the third spot.

MVP defeated Matt Hardy to earn on Smackdown to earn the fourth spot.

Shelton Benjamin defeated Jeff Hardy on Smackdown to earn the fifth spot.

Finlay defeated Brian Kendrick to earn the sixth spot.

My thoughts:

I do not disagree with the WWE creative team often, but where is the athleticism in this match? Other than Shelton Benjamin and CM Punk, this year's MITB Ladder Match is lacking athleticism to say the least.

The WWE must have other plans for many of their high-flyers. At this point, the MITB Ladder Match is lacking young and talented superstars. I was expecting much more than the six participants that have been confirmed.

Let me know what you think about this year's MITB Ladder Match.

Thanks for reading,

The Eight Superstars Who Should Be in the MITB Ladder Match

The Money in the Bank Ladder Match is one of the most anticipated and exhilarating WWE matches of the entire year. This match is organized chaos at its best. Since its debut in 2005, we have witnessed many breathtaking moments.

Remember when Shelton Benjamin did his best Spiderman impression in the first MITB ladder match? Remember when Jeff Hardy delivered a jaw-dropping spot that nearly broke Edge in half? Remember when John Morrison did a moonsault from the top rope while holding a ladder?

At WrestleMania XXV, we will see the fifth edition of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I believe these eight WWE superstars could display heart-pounding excitement from bell to bell.

Evan Bourne: Bourne could steal the show if he is a participant in this year's match. Could you imagine a shooting star press from the top of a ladder? Talk about an all-time WWE moment!

Tyson Kidd: This year's MITB ladder match would be a wonderful opportunity for Tyson Kidd to make a name for himself in the WWE. He could really put himself on the map with this match.

Rey Mysterio: Mysterio has fallen to mid-card status, but a memorable performance in this match could help him reinvent his high-flying persona.

Kofi Kingston: This match is a great chance for Kofi to display all the moves in his arsenal. He has the ability to do things that we have never seen before.

CM Punk: Punk has already qualified for this year's MITB ladder match. His unique wrestling style could help him put on a standout performance in this year's match.

R-Truth: R-Truth proved himself in TNA, but he needs a breakout performance in this match to make his mark in the WWE.

Shelton Benjamin: Shelton provided us with unforgettable moments in the first ladder match. I think he can give us a few more memories in this year's MITB ladder match.

John Morrison: In my opinion, Morrison was the highlight of last year's MITB ladder match. I would love to see Morrison win this year's match and catapult him into the main event spotlight.

I believe that the MITB ladder match should be a showcase for younger talent mostly. This match should act as a platform to stardom for these talented wrestlers. These eight WWE superstars could make this the best MITB ladder match yet. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading,

Monday Night Raw has captured our attention since its first episode in 1993. It has had many memorable moments and matches over the last 10 years.

WWE News: Vince McMahon Preventing Internet Leaks

As of Monday at Raw, the WWE creative team still did not know the full card for WrestleMania XXV. According to prowrestling.net, WWE is keeping the writers in the dark regarding the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania.

The writers obviously have a good idea of the direction they are heading into, but they have not been officially told the full WrestleMania XXV lineup. There have also been reports that the backstage atmosphere in the WWE has been chaotic as of late.

There are no plans set for the WWE draft as of yet. WrestleMania is the top priority right now and no serious conservations have taken place for possible draft moves.

There are various theories regarding why Vince McMahon has been keeping information from the WWE creative team. The two issues that continue to come up are McMahon's lack of faith in the writers and his fear that there are leaks who will let the lineup information get out before he wants it to.

McMahon has been very upset lately about the amount of information that has leaked out on the Internet, most notably the information that Christian was Jeff Hardy's mystery attacker.

Obviously, McMahon understands the importance of this special WrestleMania and wants to keep information as tightly sealed as possible.

Thanks for reading,
Josh Swell (THE FUTURE)

WWE News: WrestleMania 26 Location Revealed

A press conference will be held tomorrow to announce the official site of WrestleMania 26. The WWE will be covering this story tomorrow as well.

According to the Arizona Republic it has been confirmed that WrestleMania 26 will take place at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

The University Of Phoenix Stadium is listed as having 63,000 permanent seats, but can be expanded to having over 73,000 seats. This stadium opened in August 2006 and it is absolutely stunning.

The University of Phoenix Stadium has a retractable roof similar to the one on Reliant Stadium in Houston, which is where this year's WrestleMania will take place.

For you NFL fans out there, you know that this stadium is where the Arizona Cardinals play their NFL home football games.

I am looking forward to viewing a WrestleMania in this beautiful stadium. It seems like the WrestleManias just keep getting bigger.

There are many factors that contribute to making this match one of the most anticipated matches in wrestling history. First, we still had memories of the Undertaker vs Mankind Hell in a Cell match that occurred in 1998. Second, the Triple H vs Cactus Jack streetfight tore down the Garden at the Royal Rumble just one month prior to this match happening. Lastly, to build up this match even more the WWE added a retirement stipulation that stated if Mick Foley lost, then he would retire from wrestling forever.

9. Shawn Michaels vs Triple H (SummerSlam 2002)

This was a white hot feud in 2002. Shawn Michaels had not wrestled a match in nearly four and a half years and we saw an amazing program between former DX best friends Shawn Michaels and Triple H. To make this match even more enticing, the WWE made it a street fight.

8. Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart (WrestleMania XII)

The two biggest names in the WWF at the time would finally meet in an Iron Man Match at Wrestlemania XII. Both men went into this match in the prime of their careers. Both men were babyfaces and an epic showdown was in store. Shawn Michaels was seeking his first world championship and Bret Hart was trying to cement his place in wrestling history.

7. Shawn Michaels vs Steve Austin (WrestleMania XIV)

This WWF Title match not only involved Steve Austin looking to win his first WWF championship against Shawn Michaels, but also involved Mike Tyson as the special enforcer. We saw a great program by the WWE that involved Tyson and Austin on Raw leading up to this match. We all thought that Mike Tyson had sided with Shawn Michaels, but the Texas Rattlesnake ended up having Tyson in his back pocket all along.

6. The Rock vs Hollywood Hogan (WrestleMania X8)

No one ever thought they would see this match happen, but with the NWO reuniting on Raw, it set up for an epic match between the "Great One" and the "Immortal One". For many fans, this was the dream match that they couldn't believe was going to happen. I can't stand either of them, but the beginning of this match where The Rock and Hogan look at the crowd is amazing stuff.

5. The Rock vs Steve Austin (WrestleMania X-Seven)

WWE's two biggest names in wrestling at the time went head to head in Steve Austin's home state of Texas. This was the match that everybody wanted. What their WrestleMania XV match lacked, their Wrestlemania XVII match made up for. The build for this match involved Austin's wife, Vince McMahon, and great promos by Austin and The Rock. In my opinion, this was the biggest and best match that Steve Austin and The Rock put on.

4. Sting vs Ric Flair (Great American Bash 1990)

The build for this match lasted nearly six months long, due mostly to Sting's injury. After the Ric Flair and the four horsemen turned on Sting, this match had some of the greatest hype we have ever seen in wrestling. At the Great American Bash, Sting finally would get a chance to get his hands on Ric Flair and his first world championship.

3. Ultimate Warrior vs Hulk Hogan (Wrestlemania VI)

We first saw these two meet face to face for the first time at the Royal Rumble earlier in the year. Both men were at their highest peaks as babyfaces. Going into this match, the Ultimate Warrior was the intercontinental champion and Hulk Hogan was the WWF Champion. This set up one of the most anticipated matches in pro wrestling history.

2. Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant (Wrestlemania III)

One of the most talked about and anticipated matches was Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant. Andre The Giant was billed as being undefeated leading into this match and he was going up against his former friend, Hulk Hogan. In front of 90,000 plus fans in Detroit, Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant put on one of the memorable matches in pro wrestling history.

1. Sting vs Hollywood Hogan (Starrcade 1997)

The build for this match was a year and a half long. The entire WCW/NWO feud revolved around the day that Sting and Hollywood Hogan would finally go one on one in the ring. This match took place when WCW was achieveing its greatest success. At the time, WCW Starrcade 1997 was the most purchased Pay-Per-View in wrestling history. Hulk Hogan choosing to not doing a clean job costed this match, but in my opinion this match is still the most anticipated match in pro wrestling history.

Will Triple H vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXV make this list?

With the intense nature the Triple H vs Randy Orton feud began on Raw last week, I personally think their WrestleMania XXV showdown can make this list. If the WWE keeps building this match correctly, it could go down as one of the greatest matches in pro wrestling history.

Let me know what you think of the list and if the Triple H vs Randy Orton showdown at WrestleMania XXV will make this list.

Thanks for reading,

Ten Matches That Changed Pro Wrestling Forever

What matches have changed the sport of pro wresting? What matches were the most talked about during the time they took place? What matches have been the most controversial?

Some wrestling matches are known as the turning points of the industry. Some matches set the standard for years to come. Some matches led to ground breaking changes in the business.

The 10 Matches That Changed Wrestling.

10. Royal Rumble Match (Royal Rumble 1992)

The WWF Royal Rumble Match in 1992 will always be remembered for Ric Flair becoming WWF Champion. Ric Flair came to the WWF a few months before this match, which developed a tense rivalry between the WWF and WCW. This match also marked the first time that I heard the crowd starting to turn on Hulk Hogan.

9. Edge and Christian vs. Hardyz vs. Dudleys (Summerslam 2000)

I remember the intense hype surrounding this match the day after it happened. After WrestleMania XVI's Triangle Ladder Match, we all figured that we had seen wrestlers take it as far as they could. But then at Summerslam 2000, we saw the very first TLC match and we saw a match unlike any other match in pro wrestling history.

8. Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon (WrestleMania X)

This match put the Ladder Match on the map. At the time, this match was regarded as ground breaking. The Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels Ladder Match changed the possibilities of the gimmick match forever. This match lead to The Ladder Match being one of the most popular matches in pro wrestling history.

7. Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin (WrestleMania 13)

As a fan, I had never seen a match like this one at the time it happened. Bret Hart and Steve Austin brought an intensity to this match that was probably never seen before by the wrestling audience. This match set the bar for how brutal a wrestling match can be. It also marked the beginning of Steve Austin's mega stardom.

6. Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart (WrestleMania XII)

The 11 WrestleManias before this had sub par main events based on technical skills being displayed. Bret Hart and HBK set a new standard for WrestleMania main events and for the wrestling industry as a whole. This 60 minute Iron Man Match is the classic example of what a WrestleMania main event is supposed to be like.

5. Sting vs. Ric Flair (Clash of Champions I)

This was a 45 minute classic that put Sting on the map, but more importantly put the NWA/WCW on the map. Before this match, the NWA was trying to make a mark on the pro wrestling world and trying to become an elite company. This match was televised on free cable and broadcast opposed to the WWF's Pay-Per-View: WrestleMania IV. This match will always been known as the NWA's turning point. This is also my personal favorite match of all time.

4. Undertaker vs. Mankind (King of the Ring 1998)

This Hell in a Cell match shocked of all of us. There will never be another match like this in wrestling history. This match will always be one of the most talked about matches ever. Mike Foley took two of the sickest bumps you will ever see. This match turned the wrestling world upside down.

3. Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart (Survivor Series 1997)

The Montreal Screwjob is one of a kind. This match brought realism into the world of wrestling. The real life issues going on backstage between Bret Hart and Vince McMahon came out on a live pay-per-view for the world to see. This is the most controversial match of all time.

2. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash vs. Sting, Lex Luger, and Randy Savage (Bash at the Beach 1996)

This match is known for the formation of the NWO. Hulk Hogan came out and turned his back on WCW, and the fans. Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash began a ground breaking new faction that would change pro wrestling forever, which would lead to the Monday Night Wars between WCW and WWF.

1. Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant (WrestleMania III)

Personally, I have seen this match a few times and I hate every minute of it. I hated Hulk Hogan with a passion. This match is also one of the worst technical matches of all time, but it would be ignorant of me to not label this match as the No. 1 match that changed pro wrestling. This match brought pro wrestling to the main stream audience. I understand what this match did for the sport of pro wrestling.

Those are the 10 matches that I think changed pro wrestling forever. Let me know what you think, whether you agree or disagree.

Thanks for reading,

WWE Couples Exposed: Who's Shagging Who

For those of you interested in this kind of stuff, I have made a list of recent real-life WWE couples.

I personally find it interesting to know the backstage dirt that goes on in the WWE. I also really wanted to use that Undertaker and McCool pic on an article.

I only included recent couples, so there will be no Matt Hardy, Edge, and Lita love triangle material in this listing.

List of Confirmed WWE Couples

Undertaker and Michelle McCool (Currently dating)

John Morrison and Melina (Dated but are no longer together)

Batista and Melina (Dated but are no longer together)

Batista and Kelly Kelly (Dated but are no longer together)

Matt Hardy and Ashley Massaro (Dated but are no longer together)

CM Punk and Maria (Dated but are no longer together)

Kenny Dykstra and Mickie James (Were engaged but are no longer together)

Dolph Ziggler and Nikki Bella (Currently dating)

The Miz and Maryse (Currently dating)

That is the list of WWE couples that I can confirm.

We obviously all know that Trips and Steph O' Mac are married with kids. I have also heard that John Cena was linked to Mickie James at one point, but I could never find confirmation on that.

Please reply and include any other couples that you may have heard of.

Thanks for reading.

WWE News: Vince McMahon's Reaction to the Chris Jericho Fan Altercation Incident

This article will mark the closing chapter in the Chris Jericho fan altercation incident. For those of you wondering what Vince McMahon's reaction to the incident was, here is an interview conducted by the UK Sun with Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Jerry Lawler was asked what Vince McMahon thought about the incident and this is what Lawler said...

"Vince (McMahon) was kinda chuckling about it. Vince and I were talking and Jericho walked by and Vince said 'Watch out! Jericho will hit you! He’ll knock you right down!' Then Vince added: 'Especially if you’re a girl!'”

Lawler went on to state that, "Everybody is having a joke about it and to me it’s not a big deal, because that used to be very prevalent in the past. We used to be able to get the fans so riled up that they literally wanted to physically attack you after the matches. That hasn’t happened in a long time, so it’s almost like hats off to Chris Jericho–for doing his job. He’s being the best bad guy that he can be. And it’s working as he’s making the people so mad at him that they want to get physical with him."

My Thoughts:

Vince McMahon obviously understands the this was not Chris Jericho's fault. Lawler's testimony even stated that Vince has been joking about the incident.

So, we finally can put this altercation incident behind us and just enjoy the videos of it on you tube.

I have supported Chris Jericho here on B/R since the story first broke. Everyone should now understand why Jericho's trunks say "SAVE ME"

Thanks for reading.

WWE's New Magical Trick To Prevent Internet Leaks

The WWE is now turning to new and inventive ways of preventing spoilers to leak out on the internet prior to Pay Per Views.

Vince McMahon was determined to make sure that reports of Edge working both Elimination Chamber matches at No Way Out did not leak out on the internet prior to the Pay Per View.

McMahon was very upset that the Christian return news leaked prior to the Royal Rumble. He was so upset that he had the creative team change the entire storyline, and switch Matt Hardy into the role of Jeff's attacker.

To make sure that the No Way Out plans were not leaked, McMahon actually ordered the ring crew to put up a gigantic tarp over the entire Elimination Chamber in order to prevent people from seeing who was in the ring as the wrestlers worked out the script for the match.

Honestly, I love this new "magical trick" the WWE used. It is about time that the WWE understood the power and the value of the internet wrestling world!

I love a shocking new development unfolding right before my eyes, and the WWE should use more of these tactics to keep information sealed so that no spoilers get out!

The WWE gets two thumbs way up from me on this topic.

Thanks for reading,

RAW Recap: That Must Have Been Some Really Bad Traffic, Triple H

We all saw the segment to close Raw this past Monday.

It was another fantastic Randy Orton segment, and a great build for the Triple H vs Randy Orton match at Wrestlemania, but this is what I was thinking when I was watching Raw.

Triple H just got off the phone with Steph O' Mac and she obviously sounded like a damsel under stress.

I was thinking to myself, Triple H is going to get to Raw and save the day.

Then we saw Randy Orton and Shane fight all over the arena.

At this time Triple H is driving to Raw and getting calls from Vince every five seconds saying, "Where in the hell are you Hunter?" (Vince calls him Hunter instead of Paul.)

Triple H also has his radio set on the A.M. Raw station and is listening to Raw thinking, damn I have to get there now!!!

We then see Randy Orton punt Shane in the head, but still no Triple H. At this point Vinny Mac, HBK, Goldust, Kofi Kingston, Santino, Sim Snuka, and Dolph Ziggler have all called Triple H's cell phone to tell him what is happening on Raw.

Then, out of nowhere, RKO on Steph O' Mac!

Oh no Trips! Where are you? Why aren't you hear to protect the mother of your children? Poor little Steph just got hammered by the crazy man Randy Orton. His I.E.D. has kicked in overdrive.

Then, the obviously late as hell, Triple H comes stormin' to ring looking like he just left his son's soccer game. Triple H was furious. The rage was shooting out of his ears. Did you see the spit coming out of that man's mouth?

The only conclusion that I can come up with is that the traffic must have been extremely backed up to cause Triple H to be running late.

Obviously I love the WWE, and I love the storyline, but I was just exaggerating the point for comical purposes. I will never attempt comedy on B/R again unless it involves John Cena pumping up his Reeboks haha.

Thanks for reading,

The Sexiest Women in Pro Wrestling History: A Slideshow of Puppies, Pt. 1

Counting down the Top 10 sexiest women we have ever seen in the sport of pro wrestling.

I take pro wrestling seriously and I love the classic hard fought matches between the male superstars, but it is a special treat to have a break in all the action every now and then. Women in professional wrestling have always been that break for us.

They have became more eye candy than anything else over the last ten years, but some of these beautiful women can actually put on quality matches in the ring.

So without further delay, lets count down the Top 10 sexiest women in wrestling history.
Begin Slideshow

WWE News: Current Plans For Stone Cold at WrestleMania XXV

According the the Wrestling Observer (my source for most of my wrestling news): Stone Cold Steve Austin will not be wrestling Chris Jericho, or anybody else, at WrestleMania XXV.

The Wrestling Observer says that it is highly unlikely that Steve Austin will wrestle in a farewell match.

Stone Cold will definitely play a role in this year's Wrestlemania, however.

The buzz backstage is that Steve Austin will be the guest referee in the Triple H vs Randy Orton WWE Championship match. This match will indeed be the main event and will involve the McMahon family. Will this match involve the Texas Rattlesnake as well?

That's the very latest on Stone Cold's role at WrestleMania XXV.

Thanks for reading,

WWE News: Smackdown's Direction for the Next Two Weeks

The WWE taped two weeks worth of Smackdown last night from the Rose Garden in Portland Oregon.

Here is a preview and my thoughts for the 2/20 and 2/27 editions of Smackdown...

2/20 EDITION OF SMACKDOWN:

Current Diva's champion Maryse will return to Smackdown in a tag match which will see Maryse and Michelle McCool vs. Maria and Eve Torres. Eve Torres is smokin' hot! I hope to see her work her way up in the Diva's division.

We will see more from Morrison and Miz versus The Colons. God I hope Morrison gets a bigger push in the near future!

MVP and R Truth will face Shelton Benjamin and Chavo in a tag match as MVP's babyface turn will continue.

Jeff Hardy vs Edge in a non-title match up will be the main event. My two favorite guys in the business going head to head. What more could I ask for?

No John Cena appearence on the 2/20 Smackdown.

2/27 EDITION OF SMACKDOWN:

John Cena will take on the Big Show to further the program between Edge and Cena. I really hope Cena is not planning to make a permanent home on Smackdown.

Undertaker will take on Vladimir Kozlov. Big upset in store for the dead man?

Jeff and Matt Hardy will further their storyline and continue to set up their epic showdown at Wrestlemania 25.

No Triple H matches on either edition of Smackdown. He will be a big part of Raw for the next two weeks.

I am really looking forward to the Jeff Hardy vs Edge match! Of course we never get clean finishes on WWE TV though.

No ground breaking stuff coming out of Smackdown for the next two weeks. I will be watching as usual though.

Thanks for reading,

Josh Swell (THE FUTURE)

Yes... I am self proclaiming myself THE FUTURE. HAHA.

WWE News: Hulk Hogan Match at WrestleMania 25? Possible Opponent May Shock You

THE LATEST ON WRESTLEMANIA 25...

We all saw on Monday Night Raw last night that Wrestlemania 25 match ups are starting to take form.

Triple H vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title and Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker are now set up for the grandest stage of them all.

We can also see that Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho vs A WWE legend (Most likely Steve Austin) is being set up for WM 25.

Sources say that Hulk Hogan has stated that he wants to be apart of Wrestlemania 25. Last night on Raw we saw Edge and John Cena set up a possible World Title match at WM 25.

I have heard that the WWE has sent out feelers to Hulk Hogan about a possible match at Wrestlemania against John Cena.

I expect Edge and John Cena to have a short program. Cena will be on Smackdown this week, but will Edge and Cena just have a rematch on Smackdown at some point instead of a match at WM 25?

Will Cena then be involved with a program with Hulk Hogan to lead into 'Mania?

I have also read the possibility of a Hulk Hogan vs. Chris Jericho match instead of Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho at WM 25.

Nothing is confirmed at this point on whether Hulk Hogan will have a match at WM 25, but the WWE's first choice is Hulk Hogan vs. John Cena.

Now, I am sure you are sitting there thinking if Hulk Hogan vs. John Cena is a possibility, then where will that leave Edge and the World Title?

Backstage rumors indicate that Edge will face the Big Show for the World Heavyweight Title. Edge is rumored to turn face leading up to his showdown with the Big Show. This match has similarities of Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania 3.

That is the very latest information that I have found regarding Wrestlemania.

What do you think?

The Last 3 Months Have Been the Greatest in WWE History!

After being stunned by last night's No Way Out Pay Per View, I have came to the conclusion that the WWE is ten steps ahead of the internet and everyone else.

Lets take a brief look at what we have seen since Survivor Series...

Jeff was found unconscious in a Boston hotel. Then Edge returned at Survivor Series and won the WWE Title in a triple threat match against Triple H and Kozlov.

Jeff Hardy won the WWE Title at Armageddon for the first time in his career in a triple threat match against Edge and Triple H.

Everyone thought the WWE would have Jeff Hardy win the title for the first time at Wrestlemania 25.

More attacks kept coming against Jeff Hardy and everyone predicted it was Christian.

Randy Orton punted Vince McMahon's head live on Raw, which shocked everyone.

At the Royal Rumble many of us predicted Randy Orton would win the Rumble, but we all thought Christian would cost Jeff Hardy the WWE Title against Edge.

Matt Hardy ended up costing Jeff Hardy the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble.

Christian shocked the world and showed up on a live broadcast of ECW and wrestled his first match against Jack Swagger.

In the opening match at No Way Out, we saw Triple H win the WWE Title in the Smackdown Elimination Chamber match.

In the Main Event at No Way Out, we saw Edge as a surprise entrant and win the World Title in the Raw Elimination Chamber.

During all of this, we also saw the Chris Jericho fan altercation incident that sent the wrestling world into a frenzy.

The WWE has stayed ten steps ahead of everyone's predictions and spoilers.

This has been the best three month run that I have ever seen in wrestling. It has been the most surprise filled three month period that I can ever remember in professional wrestling.

I have no idea how the WWE is staying this far ahead of the Internet. The wrestling news sites have looked totally lost the last few months.

We can all speculate what will happen at Wrestlemania 25, but the WWE will probably fool us again.

WWE News: Triple H v Randy Orton at Wrestlemania XXV

Going into last night's No Way Out Pay-Per-View, there was a lot of uncertainty regarding what top matches will take place at WrestleMania XXV on April 5.

I have found new information regarding the RAW-brand main event.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge will be staying on SmackDown and word is that Triple H will be moving to Raw.

With the recent feud between Randy Orton and the McMahon family, Triple H will defend his wife Stephanie and Randy Orton will challenge Triple H for the WWE Title.

There has been talk of WWE finally acknowledging on-air that Stephanie and Triple H are married and it will be revealed that Triple H is the person Stephanie has been talking to on the phone during Raw.

This will set up Triple H vs. Randy Orton at WrestleMania XXV for the WWE Title.

To my knowledge, this match will take place at WrestleMania XXV.

WWE 2009 No Way Out Results:

World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber Match: John Cena vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Mike Knox vs. Kane

Note: During the introductions for the Raw Elimination Chamber match, Edge took out Kofi Kingston and locked himself inside of Kofi's cell.

Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio began the match.

Kane was the third entrant.

Kane was then eliminated by Rey Mysterio.

Mike Knox was the fourth entrant.

Edge was the fifth entrant, so at this point it was Edge, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio inside the Chamber.

John Cena was the last entrant.

Edge then eliminated John Cena with a spear!

Smackdown Elimination Chamber Match: Edge vs Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker vs Triple H vs Kozlov vs Big Show

Jeff Hardy and Edge started things off. Jeff Hardy eliminated Edge in the opening minutes of the match, so we were guaranteed a new WWE Champion!

Kozlov was the third participant in the match so it was Jeff Hardy vs Kozlov in the Chamber.

Big Show was the fourth participant in the match.

Triple H was the fifth participant in the match.

WWE Draft: Who's Going Where? I Got The Scoop

We all heard today that the WWE Draft will be taking place on April 13 on Monday Night Raw LIVE from Atlanta one week after Wrestlemania 25.

Here are the names that will be switching brands and why...

Shawn Michaels to Smackdown: The work schedule is much easier for the Smackdown roster and HBK has had every feud known to man with the Raw roster. The WWE actually talked about moving HBK at 2008's Draft, but moved Triple H to Smackdown instead.

Christian to Smackdown: Obviously, everyone understands that ECW is just a pit stop for Christian. His real payoff will come when he is on the brand with Edge, Jeff, and Matt Hardy.

CM Punk to Smackdown: CM Punk needs a change, and moving to Smackdown might help him get back in the main event spotlight. However, I could see him turning heel on Raw at some point instead of being drafted to Smackdown.

John Morrison to Smackdown: Break Morrison and Miz up and give the former Tuesday Night Delight the push that he deserves. I think this move would really help out Morrison's career.

Undertaker to Raw: Many people have predicted that the Undertaker would switch to the Raw brand to end his career. I think the time is now for Taker to go back to Raw for one last run.

Triple H to Raw: Since HBK may be moving to Smackdown, I will predict Triple H to move back to Raw. He can then be a part of Stephanie McMahon storylines and feud with Randy Orton and The Legacy. He can also have a feud with Taker on Raw since everyone has predicted that for awhile now.

MVP to Raw: MVP should get a big push in 2009 and moving to Raw will give him a fresh start to get over as a face.

Jack Swagger to Raw: We know that the WWE loves to start young guys out on ECW and develop them. Swagger will be brought to Raw.

As for ECW... just move a couple of guys over there that can help draw their little 1.3 rating every week and they will be fine. Maybe move Mr. Kennedy to ECW and a legitimate heel that he can feud with for the ECW Title.

Let me know what guys you think will be switching brands.

10 Matches The WWE Fans Want!

With the huge return taking place last night, I was thinking about possible matches that the WWE fans want now that Christian has been added into the mix.

10 MATCHES WE WANT TO SEE...

1. Jeff Hardy vs. Edge (TLC Match) - This is my dream match. Two of the guys who made the TLC match popular. The Charismatic Enigma vs The Ultimate Opportunist! This has to happen one day!

2. Christian vs. Edge - I can't wait to see this match when it finally happens. The Rated R Superstar vs The Instant Classic!

3. Randy Orton vs. Edge - Orton and Edge have reached new heights since Rated RKO broke up. It would be great to see this match now. The Legend Killer vs The Rated R Superstar!

4. Jeff Hardy vs. Undertaker - We have seen this match, but I want to see this match when a World Title is on the line. The Charismatic Enigma vs The Phenom!

5. Randy Orton vs. Christian - Hopefully Christian will work his way up in the ranks of the WWE on ECW and then maybe one day we will see this match. The Legend Killer vs The Instant Classic!

6. Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy - Looks like we will be getting this brother vs. brother match at WM 25. The Good Hardy vs The Bad Hardy!

7. Randy Orton vs. John Cena - Same as above. I can't wait to see Orton beat Cena for the World Title. The Legend Killer vs Some Other Dude!

8. Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels - We have not seen this match in a while. Hopefully we will get it at WM 25 as well. ICON vs ICON, LEGEND VS LEGEND!

9. Edge vs. Chris Jericho - I would love to see these to square off one day with a World Title on the line. Even better if it was in Canada... just to hear the crowd reaction. The Rated R Superstar vs Y2J!

10. Triple H vs Undertaker (HIAC Match) - The two greatest hell in a cell competitors we have ever seen. I think we will see this match happen at some point. The King of Kings vs The Phenom!

In closing, those are my top 10 matches that I am dying to see.

Did I leave any out?

Agree, disagree?
