Kyle Wellwood Finds Success...Just Not in Toronto

Since the start of the season, the thing that has bugged me the most is that Kyle Wellwood is owning all of a sudden.

Also he's getting paid next to nothing.

I don't know why Cliff Fletcher let him go. Everyone says that we need young players.

Right from preseason, when I saw him score in the shootout, I told myself that he was going to do good this season. But the only thing we needed was patience—and obviously Fletcher doesn't have that.

Now all of Leaf Nation will have to wait three and a half years, according to Brian Burke—and I hope its no longer. Me along with all of Leaf Nation have watched our beloved Leafs miss postseason play for three years in a row now.

Don't even get me started with the whole Darcy Tucker situation, either. He's doing not so bad and same with Bryan McCabe. They were older, though, so they were a must go—but things shouldn't have ended on a bad note with Tucker, McCabe, and Mats Sundin. If they loved Toronto so much, they would have left happy knowing that there will be a future for the Maple Leafs.

Sundin, I think, should have went with the Rangers if he wanted a Stanley Cup, because I'm pretty sure everyone knows that the Canucks won't be winning it anytime soon.

But the Canucks will make the playoffs—just how far they will go everyone knows, that San Jose is going to win the Cup no matter who or what stands in their way.

Give me your comments or your thoughts—but remember, this is my first article, so don't judge me too much.
