Ric Flair Still a Headliner Being the Man Once Again

It's kind off nice to still be able to see some of your favorite Superstars grace a WWE ring, especially those that you grew up watching, no matter what they do you just can't get enough of them.

Ric Flair can and still is the man, former member of the Four Horsemen.

I mean if there was no Four Horsemen, then there might not have been a DX or a NWO, no one really knows for sure, but there is one thing and that is Ric Flair helped turn it all around for the world of Sports Entertainment, but I still think they need to do something better for when he gets back in the ring wwwwwwwoooooooooo.

I don't think that its fair for him to be used as a Punchbag, I mean is this what his small in ring appearances have been reduced to? or is it the fact that the WWE does'nt know what to do with Jericho's storyline because there running out of ideas?

There has got to be an end to all of this, come on people, there has got to be still some new classic moments that I'm sure they can pull out of that hat made of magic.

I mean to say, "Standing there Chris Jericho aka I hope he ain't the one you fight with." He'll probably end up calling you a hypocrite, has he got nothing better else to say cause the line is getting kind of old if you ask me.

"Oh don't stop me yet, he had a good run with his Highlight Reel, yeah highlighting himself."

Never mind, I hope things get better leading up to wrestlemania.

Oh one more thing before I forget, "Chris Jericho I've got just one word for you, wwwwwwoooooooooo."

Wrestlemania Match in the Making

I had a good prediction for this sort of match would finally come to light, thanks to some very talented story writing.

The match has finally been set, HBK will square off one on one with The Undertaker. I'm sure this will be the most talked about match of its time.

It's certainly not the first time these two have had a confrontation, talk about trying to co-operate is bad enough knowing that your match against each other will still take place.

I have always noticed they always seem to have people that are against each other at wrestlemania, in matches against there opponents leading up to the event. Maybe to help build up suspense.

This past week on Monday night RAW, after HBK stole Takers chance to get the pin, he chased Shawn up the entrance ramp, it seemed that Shawn had disappeared out of sight, when taker looks away for a moment then turns back, the Showstopper plays that sweet chin music on Undertakers face.

It could be that maybe HBK has the Undertaker's number.

Can Mr Wrestlemania go all the way to victory on the grandest stage of them all? or will we all witness The Phenom's winning streak reach 17-0, only time will tell.

Its going to be the Winning streak versus The Heart, ICON versus ICON.

In any case, I want to see something special, like many of you may remember the classic confrontation that Taker and HBK had during the 2007 Royal Rumble match when they were the last two standing in the ring. There was one goal left, one more elimination to go, one final shot.

The momentum kept swinging back and forth with lethal force, from high risk moves, to alot of fist throws with some chops, ending with permanent finisher out of the game.

That is the kind of confrontation I want to see at this Wrestlemania between these two, the WWE Universe demands it. Give everyone what they want, and you can bet those two will deliver the goods.

The Real Power in Our Films Today

I think it's great how we get to see our favorite superstars in films, not just in the ring; now we have this new film "The Wrestler."

Now please correct me if I'm a bit wrong here, but I heard a rumor that Y2J Chris "Big Mouth" Jericho is going to be challenging Mickey Rourke, who starred in the film to a match at Wrestlemania, I mean how dare he.

Oh I'm sorry, I suppose he thinks he's a hypocrite as well, the only hypocrites I reckon is himself, like he thinks he has the right to keep on coming out to the ring week in week out, calling all us fans hypocrites.

I think its about high time that someone put Y2J firmly in his lonely place, personally I think Mickey Rourke will win the match with ease, I'm sure he could find the upper hand quickly.

It was just typical of Y2J, he makes this so called "big" return titled he's here to "SAVE US", then he changes it to "SAVE ME", because he seems to be fed up by being second rate, or not getting the respect that he deserves, "Well, Chris you're going the wrong way about," It's about time someone just please shut him the hell up, (not to use his own quote, mind you).

I think we can all agree that each Wrestlemania each year gets bigger and better than the last year's event, maybe that's because it only happens once a year, I have noticed there are always follow up matches leading to the event which is good for story lines.

Send me all your thoughts and comments, and if you could please rate this article, that would be good too, ok thanks.

Predator On The Loose: Beware Orton

How much more can Triple H take from the Legend Killer Randy Orton?

It has finally come down to it, Randy Orton is going to challenge Triple H for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 25, but what kind of match is it going to be for the title?

Triple H has stated very clearly to Orton this past week on Raw that this is now personal, he's going to break his neck, and who can blame him after what Orton did to his wife, not forgetting Vince and Shane McMahon?

Looks like maybe Triple H could be the one to put an end to Orton's rage of destruction. Or will he end up suffering from an RKO? Only time will tell.

I know I've said this before in my previous article titled Randy Orton Out Of Control, he truly has gone too far this time, and I think all this proves my point to some degree because, I mean, if it's true, he does indeed have a medical condition that causes him to lose control over his actions when he loses his temper.

Well, then his doctors should not allow him to compete in the ring, but then he would probaly get his so-called lawyers on to that matter, no doubt.

You can all probably guess that Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes will probably get involved in the match somehow, that maybe Orton could end up gaining an advantage.

But I think the big question will remain what will happen to Orton when Mr. McMahon is able to return, hopefully he will get some payback of his own on the Legend Killer.

What Has Happened to Comedy in the WWE?

Here I am once again, Paul Bentley (aka Gene Simmons), reporting to you with another unique article. Tell me what you think.

You know what I think—I have been watching WWE very carefully of late, and there is one thing that has been puzzling me—where has the comedy been?

What I mean by that is, where are DX's usual antics or someone making fun of another person or maybe another great skit?

A great way to introduce some fresh comedy to the WWE would be to have Triumph the Insult Comic Dog as part of the show. Let him interview some of the superstars and divas backstage, throwing in a few insults.

That could be alot of fun.

I think it would be nice to have something like that on a more regular basis because it seems to have slowed down a bit with the recent story lines that the WWE has been showing.

The only thing that seems to have any kind of comedy involved appears to be John Morrison and The Miz with "The Dirt Sheet Show"—and that's about it as far as I can tell.

If they think that Santino acting like a complete idiot is entertainment, then give me a break!

Another thing that I have also noticed is when you log on to WWE.com and you view the active superstars in the rosters on the shows, its got all of them listed but it doesn't show them every week, but rather maybe every few weeks. But still they remain on the roster.

For example, I like the Boogieman, but I hardly have a chance to see him. At least he is entertaining, so if they still have them all on the roster then they should show him a bit more.

The WWE draft is just around the corner, but what will happen over the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship, I dont think this is a good thing. Raw does not have a world title now because of Edge, so now both of these championship are on Smackdown.

Personally, I don't think he should have been allowed to complete in Raw's Elimination Chamber match to win the title because he had just lost his WWE Championship in Smackdown's chamber match.

He wasn't even scheduled for Raw's chamber match, so I don't think that should have been allowed. It makes me wonder if the computer that randomly selects the superstars to be drafted will be fair in deciding who gets picked.

I remember when Undertaker was recovering from an injury and was not eligible for the draft so he was able to remain on Smackdown. That should be the same for Batista since he is still out of action for the time being.

You may all remember when he received a injury at the hands of Randy Orton.

Send me all your thoughts and comments on my article.

The Real Sting or Not?

Facepaints I think can and do play a very interesting role in a persons charactor in the world of sports entertainment, and not forgetting masks like Rey Mysterio, or Kane's mask, I think they are excellant.

The only problem is when they have been performing the face paint easly peels off unless its just the cheap stuff that they may use only for health and safety reasons.

Anyway I hope you all enjoy my slide show of some of the interesting insight that I have had from over the years on the world of Sports Entertainment.
Begin Slideshow

The Phenom Failed To Overcome the King

He came so close and yet so far away, the most dangerous cage match in all of sports entertainment history THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER , we were all able to lay our eyes witness a classic showdown by two of the greatest superstars in the WWE, Triple H & The Undertaker.

Not only can they use the chains as a weapon but also the pods as well as the flooring outside the ropes, everyone knows that there can only be one winner in this kind of match, both of these two superstars have been in cage matches many times so both of them have plenty of experience.

I'm just glad that when it was finally over, I hate it when my favorite superstar of all time The Undertaker gets badly hurt, what I find so amazing about him is how he can still remain standing after taking such a bad beating. Don't try to match fists with him cause everyone knows that he is one of the best pure strikers in the game.

Anyway, STOP THE PRESS PEOPLE, AND HOLD THE PHONE, BECAUSE THIS IMPORTANT HEADLINE COMING RIGHT AT YOU .

It is going to happen just like I thought way back, It is now possible that Mr. Wrestlemania HBK himself might be the next person to challenge The Phenom's winning streak at Wrestlemania but he's going to have to go through JBL first. Once they arrive, I wonder what kind of match it will be, I think the question will remain will it be a HBK special match or an Undertaker special match, what ever its going to be I hope its a good one.

What I mean is will it be a match that HBK is best at or will it be a match that Undertaker is best at, almost certainly the match will be quite long even with so much at stake.

Send me all your thoughts and comments on this important news, thanks.

ECW's Inactive Superstars: Sandman, Kevin Thorn, Ariel

I think it’s a big shame that certain superstars are no longer on the WWE rosters; like The Sandman.

I miss seeing him perform in the ring, he is one of the ECW original’s, with his hardcore wrestling style, beer can drinking and head smashing, Singapore cane swinging; he had been involved in quite a lot of Extreme rules matches in the ring.

He also has a great entrance music, when he was about to make his entrance, you never knew where or which direction he would appear from, sometimes he would emerge in the stands at the back so all the fans can see him up close.

One more superstar I seem to really miss is Kevin Thorn, became a new superstar to the ECW roster, involving the Vampire-like character.

I think that was awesome, I wonder does anyone out there know what happened to Ariel, if anyone could tell I would be grateful.

I loved his entrance video and entrance music, I remember when he first debuted on ECW, Joey Styles invited him in to the arena, well everyone should know that you never invite a Vampire in because that allows them to enter and use their powers.

This allowed Kevin Thorn to run riot and start dominating the ECW roster quickly making a name for himself, its a big shame he is no longer on WWE roster.

I wonder is their anyone who knows where he is now, like for example which brand is he with now.

Shawn Michaels: What Happened To the Showstopper?

What is going on with The Showstopper today, and what has happened to his storyline?

How could such a thing like this happen to a superstar like him, or lower him down to this kind of storyline?

I wonder if it’s all true. You know, about him investing his money into the stock market, and something going a bit wrong?

The money's gone and now he's claiming he is on the broke side, so JBL offered him a job. He took the offer, but apparently the situation seems to be going from bad to worse,

So I just want to know if there is any truth in all of it, because if there is, it's not a great storyline. This is not the Heartbreak Kid I’ve always known. I hope that something good comes out at the end of all this.

The best-case scenario would be for Shawn to pull something out of the bag, making the fans go wild.

Maybe he could put in that special recipe of Sweet Chin Music because that's always sweet music to my ears.

DONT TRY THIS AT HOME: Joel Mercury's Face Injury

The title of this article couldn't be more true, it speaks for itself. You may remember what happened to poor Joel Mercury in a dangerous ladder match.

It was a tag team match against the Hardy's, now some of the things that happen are planned, I've seen that happen many times but I don't think their was any way this was planned:

His Head was being held down by one of the Hardy's, a ladder was placed below him and balanced on another, while the other Hardy member climbed on to the top turnbuckle, jumped from that position and landed, doing a leg drop on one end of the ladder, while the other end snapped back, clipping Joel across his face and knocking his head back. There was a lot of blood pouring from his face and his left eye had swollen shut from the impact.

It's almost certain he ended up with a broken nose, and I remember him saying on Smackdown the next day that he had lost some of the vision in his eye. So there is no way that could have been planned.

Was it an accident, or was it done intentionally? I'l let you all decide.

I think this has got to be the worst injury I have seen in sports entertainment history. He must have made a full recovery by now, I hope because this was a few years ago.

On a final note I hope injuries as bad as this don't happen again.

DEGENERATION X Have Taken Over The Globe

ARE YOU READY

This has got to be the greatest team in the world of Pro Wrestling, together with both of thier talents combined, and i've seen people holding up signs for DX almost every show. Not only that but they have fans worldwide supporting them every week, I think they are fantastic.

They both have great skills between them, and I also remember some of the funny moments that i saw on the shows with a motto of anything goes, wheather they were getting thier own back at the Mcmanhons, or getting some payback from other superstars, eventually they would come out on top and they would be entertaining fans in the process.

I even remember some of the original members of DX, now it just seems to be the remaining 2, I'm glad they are still around. For me I have always been a huge DX Fan, I love their slogans, and lets not forget all the merchandise on them, and the Entrance Music's. I even remember when they made a huge come back on Raw it was wild.

I can't think what the world of Pro Wrestling would be like without DX it would have been a big shame i think.

So if your not down with my article, I've got 2 words for ya "whats uuuuuppppp".

Ha Ha Ha.

Randy Orton: Out of Control

Randy Orton, A man that has no remorse over any one that he hurts or injury, his actions have been well documented over the past months, the big question is why does he act this way.
Shawn Michaels, John Cena, & Batista have all been injured because of this one superstar. Something should be done about all this, cause how many more superstars are going to be injured.
Begin Slideshow

The Undertaker - The Man, The Icon, The Legend, The Phenom

Its true what they say the WWE is the leader in sports entertainment and what makes the WWE so special, I think the Undertaker is one of the greatest of all time why?, because the Undertaker has been at the top of his game because of all the different things that he can do. In terms of his speed, his style, moves & skill.

Right from the moment he debuted in the business back in 1990 during the annual Survivor Series, quickly became a main event level Superstar. He is a multi time Champion, Hes won a Royal Rumble match which is clearly no easy feat.

At the top of the list he is still undefeated with a 16-0 record at Wrestlemania. What has amazed me the most aside from all the merchandise on him, but the wide variety of matches that he has brought to the ring including the Hell In a Cell Match to the Famous Casket Match which he also used at Wrestlemania 22 against Mark Henry.

I can only hope that the Undertaker will continue to remain part of the WWE in some shape or form.

Feel free to leave me any comments and feedback on my article & i will try to respond to them ASAP.

Thankyou.
