What Each Wrestlemania25 Match Means

It all started the night of March 31st in the year 1985! Wow, where have the years went?

It seemed like yesteryear that I was enjoying Hulk Hogan in the main attraction in the very first Wrestlemania.

Plenty of matches to choose as a favorite, considering this is where every wrestler lays their body on the line like no other time since indeed it is the grand daddy of them all.

Here we are waiting in angst to watch and enjoy the greatest show on earth. Wrestlemania25 is almost here which will be live at 8pm EST on April 5th.

On a personal note, I should get paid just for putting that in my article, lol.

Anyways, back to the good stuff. So I decided after some time off from writing, to finally try and master this art of writing. Being able to open up and share my thoughts, opinions, and knowledge to those that are willing to read what I have to say.

Hope you all enjoy and this is what I have to say about this years Wrestlemania as I will review each match and my opinion of each wrestler participating!

Intercontinental Champion JBL vs. Rey Mysterio

Although John Bradshaw Layfield is retiring soon and the grand scheme of things is for him to retire as champion. It's a who knows what will happen scenario. I believe both deserve to win this match.

JBL for all that he has done for the wrestling business and considering this may be his last pay per view because of recurring back problems. So let him win and go out on top as the only male wrestler to retire as a champion.

On the other hand, Mysterio is way over do for a championship reign of any sorts and would probably be a crowd favorite as the Intercontinental Champion.

JBL's brute power vs. Mysterio's high flying and unpredictable moves. However... Mysterio is not set to retire anytime soon as JBL is, which is why I believe that JBL will win!

Chris Jericho vs. WWE Legends

Well, Chris Jericho has a lot to do to back that big mouth of his up. Him vs Flair, Snuka, Piper, and Steamboat.

I can care less of who gets the pin, just so much as Jericho gets a good beating. I see all of the greats getting a chance to pin Jericho and each using their finishing moves. I also see Jericho kicking out of each and eventually winning the match.

That's when Stone Colds music hits, he comes out and has a few words with Jericho, stuns him, and disappears into his hollywood career!

The Colons vs Miz and Morrison for the unification of the Tag Team Titles

I believe this will be a very entertaining match as both teams are very athletic. Carlito and Primo have been getting by because of the Bella twins and just don't see them winning.

The Miz and John Morrison have already proven to be perhaps the best tag team right now in the WWE. They have held the tag titles for a while and are established as a well known team as well.

In the end, in an upset to set up a rematch... I do see the Colons winning on this night at Wrestlemania25 to become the Unified Tag Team Champions. This spectacle has to have a few surprises!

25-Diva Battle Royal

This is the one match that I am not even going to try and settle. I have a few choices of who I want to win and all are capable of doing so. Trish Stratus, Victoria, Gail Kim, or The Glamazon!

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy (Extreme Rules Match)

To be honest, I don't think that there will be a winner as rumors already started circulating that this will be the only time that they do feud. I think it will be a very interesting match, where both put their bodies on the line.

In the end, I believe they will find mutual respect for one another, shake hands, hug, and move on with their careers!

Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Alright, to start off I am going to say that C.M. Punk is not going to win as even though there hasn't been a back to back winner as of yet, he will not be the one to do so.

He is already well liked with the fans and eventually will get a feud with some champion in the future... he is still young! I believe that there are only three real winners in this match. MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Christian.

I am not going to say that Mark Henry or Kane won't win... but come on. I have never seen a giant win a ladder match. The ladder match was designed for the smaller man. Not as small as the common man, just not as tall as the giants in WWE.

I believe MVP and Shelton Benjamin will continue their feud for the United States Championship belt. Which leaves Christian.

I am going to throw this out there, because fact in point: most people do believe everything they read or hear. I on the other hand do not.

First, the WWE tried to make it such a secret that they had indeed signed Christian which made other established wrestling sites second guess. I was the only writer sticking by my story and before any site could verify that he was signed, he up and appeared on ECW.

Not only that, Christian turned down a five-year $2.5 million dollar contract from TNA.

Who knows what he signed for from the WWE, but I do know that he was smart enough to include a title reign of some sort.

Today is Monday, March 30th and he is scheduled to talk and chat tonight on WWE Universe.

These rumors of Vince not liking him, saying his doormat has more value then Christian, and doesn't think Christian has what it takes are B.S. in my opinion!

I'll admit, that is what he might of thought in the beginning when he left to go to TNA. I'll also admit that while being THE CHAMP in TNA and seeing him thrive and carry a company...it also changed Vince's mind as well.

Come on, does everyone honestly think that Vince signed Christian Cage away from TNA because he was too valuable to them to be nothing in the WWE?

Look, it's very simple. There is a hush hush going on in the WWE cause everyone knew what was going to happen before it did. What better way to throw everyone off then himself saying all of this, again B.S.!

Just as Punk won last year and then got drafted, I truly believe the same happens this year. Christian will win the match and indeed get drafted as well!!

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker

The Showstopper, Mr. Wrestlemania vs. The Phenom known as THE UNDERTAKER.

Well, as everyone knows... this will be indeed a great match. I truly believe Shawn Michaels should win this match, which would cement him as perhaps one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

Right now, he is mentioned with the greats, but where?

Undertaker is already mentioned as I am sure no one who remotely knows anything about wrestling doesn't know who the Undertaker is. I want Shawn to end the undefeated streak of the Undertaker, but feel as though the WWE is pushing too hard to prove that Shawn isn't afraid and has the Undertakers number.

This is the only reason why I believe the Undertaker will continue his undefeated streak and win this years Wreslemania to become the new Mr. Wrestlemania and take that title away from Shawn Michaels!

World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show (Triple Threat Match)

Alright, you have the Rated R Superstar/The Ultimate Oppertunist vs. The Big Slow vs. John Cena... hmmm.

Alright, the favorite is Cena. The Champion is just that, which means he can get disqualified and still retain, but I'm sure with Vicki's lover Big Show in the match, she won't allow that to happen in the least.

I want to say that the Big Show wins, because no one expects him to and he just might. Should make for a great match to watch! For the two championships I will not give a winner as in all honesty, it is too hard to figure.

Perhaps the winner of the money in the bank match cashes in as all these guys should be tired!

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Randy Orton

First, I want to start off by saying this should make for a very interesting and fun match to watch. Triple H is due for a victory at a Wrestlemania as he hasn't won one in the last couple.

The problem is, he is facing the most hyped up and coming superstar in years. Too hard to tell, either can win. Don't count out the money in the bank ladder match cashing in if Orton wins!

The reason I brought that up is because I don't believe there has been a money in the bank winner who has cashed it in on the same night and it's something Christian would do. If he were to win!! (feel free to correct me if there has been a past winner who has cashed it in the same night)

AND THAT'S ALL I GOTTA SAY ABOUT THAT!

Spring Training and What It Means

Ahh...

This is the time of year when the warmth of the sun hits your skin and the cracks of the bat begin to fill the air with a noise so sweet. The smell of hot dogs and (for those drinkers out there) beer on your breath permeates the atmosphere.

After a long winter and myriad free agent signings, fans look forward to seeing the changes to their teams' rosters put into practice. And the only way of having an inkling of how things are going to work out (before the actual campaign begins, of course) is Spring Training.

It's not just the time in which players get ready for the start of the season; it's when chemistry is formed!

No, I have not ever been to a Spring Training game. Yet I understand the importance of the period and what it means to me as a fan (of the World Champion Phillies, of course).

As far back as I can remember, and probably since baseball was first considered America's pasttime, I have always anticipated summer with hope, faith, belief, passion, and unwavering support for my team. I know most preseason action isn't televised, and that it's the regular season that counts, but stick with me here.

I have heard stories of how things are "different" in spring.

Not so much the game, as it's always played the same: There are nine innings, players get pulled, pitchers get yanked, and strategy is employed.

And it's not so much that pitchers only get about three innings to begin with, or that our everyday players play only enough to get ready and largely just try to avoid injury.

I think Spring Training is different because, for a fan, it's is more about watching, having fun, and evaluating. It's about watching the talent the team is going to go to war with during the regular season, assessing the spring surprises that might make the team, and scouting the young and upcoming talent.

During the regular season, all of us feel the ups and downs; it's like a roller coaster when the teams we root for win or lose.

But in spring, we get to enjoy the full experience of the game without distractions, like those of being in a pennant race, snapping out of losing streaks, or maintaining long winning streak. That's all certainly enjoyable, but I think that as fans we have become more demanding and take each win or loss just as hard as the players themselves.

It's not about the statistics, the players themselves, or your surroundings. It's about the feeling a person gets enjoying a game of baseball in those most perfect of conditions.

It's not too hot, not too cold...it's just right. That's the right way of enjoying one's self!

Eagles' Reid Has a Plan: Could We Be Saying 'Bye' to McNabb?

Alright, there seem to be some misguided football fans out there. Especiallly out there in Eaglesland, PA.

So, what's gone down this offseason, so far?

We all said goodbye to a true warrior, a guy who we all have grown to love. Brian Dawkins will surely be missed. But for those who are upset over this, I ask, why?

You should have seen this coming! The Eagles never have and never will sign players, even their own, who are above a certain age or whose careers are on the decline.

Come on now, are we supposed to let our secondary suffer just so that we can re-sign a hometown star? I think not, as that's definitely not going to lead to winning.

Winning is about having the most athletic and best players on the field; Dawkins took almost the whole year to finally come around. I doubt we can afford to have a player do that again, as it leads to a slow start. All the great teams let older players go; just check their track record.

So far, the only significant signing we've made is Stacey Andrews. All I have to say is, "Hello!"

Cincinnatti thought this guy was so good that they franchised him last year. Okay, so he is coming off knee surgery (which wasn't as severe as John Runyan's injury) and his brother (Shawn) is having some issues. Well, this could be the year of the Andrews, as there is talk that Stacey will be the RT and Shawn will be moved to LT. Both are Pro-Bowl-caliber players and separated by only a year!

But on to the matter at hand: Donovan McNabb.

The "Mr. I Want So Much, yet Haven't Done Much."

You want to talk about a system quarterback? Here's one who hesitates to run, which used to add another dimension to the offense and was exciting to watch. He's never completed a nice percentage of his passes. I truly believe the Eagles should trade McNabb, since he threatened to ask for a trade if things didn't look right to him anyway.

Reid drafted the guy, while all the fans were booing the pick. Well, turns out it was a good thing we didn't get the headache that is Ricky Williams.

But Reid also drafted Kolb, who may or may not be the future of the franchise...when will he get his chance?

Donovan might be upset the Eagles didn't land Housh, especially since he said he'd like to play with McNabb but instead signed with Seattle.

I, on the other hand, am so happy the Eagles didn't sign T.J. I truly believe he is way over-hyped; this is a guy who benefitted with that other guy on the team being double-covered constantly. Can you say "Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson?"

Yes, I do believe the Eagles will either trade for Boldin of the Cardinals or Johnson of the Bengals. Perhaps they could get Marvin Harrison on a one- or two-year contract, who knows. They will hopefully draft both a WR and RB pretty high in the draft.

But back to McNabb. My question is, why should we even pay him more? Why should we re-work his contract or give him more money? Why should we try when at times last season he didn't?

Can the Eagles please him this offseason through the draft? My answer to that is...

"Who cares?!"

This is the Philadelphia Eagles. Not the Philadelphia McNabbs, or Dawkinses, or anyone else that someone may be upset about the Eagles not pursuing or letting go of.

We have been in the top three as far as winning percentage in the league, and that is simply because the Eagles always have a plan. Eventually, we will win the big one. It's not like we are good one year and bad the next. We are what few teams are and what others want to be: winners.

Now, let's stop getting all angry over every little thing that Philadelphia did or didn't do. Let's wait, see what they do, and judge them not by that, but by how they do the season following all their changes?

Breaking News: D-Generation X Returns to Take On the Legacy

This article contains a spoiler for No Way Out!

This information was found on Raja.com and the source was confirmed by PWInsider.com.

Local advertising for Monday's Raw at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington, as well as the 3/2 Raw at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, have all three members of Legacy taking on WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena and a reunited D-Generation X of Shawn Michaels & SmackDown wrestler Triple H in the main events.

While this advertised match-up appears to simply be a dark match with Triple H making a special appearance, this could be a hint of things to come as WWE marches towards WrestleMania. In a backstage segment on Monday's Raw, Stephanie McMahon was seen talking to an undisclosed person she seemed to know pretty well on the phone.

What this means is two things...

That of course Shawn Michaels will win the all or nothing match with JBL at No Way Out!

and...

That person on the other end of the Phone was none other than her husband coming to her rescue, Triple H!

I know this should stir up the wrestling community and bring more excitement to Raw's brand. Which I might say is doing fine without it, they need excitement on ECW besides just Christian. This is a perfect fit to a storyline that started soft.

Don't be surprised if Triple H interferes in the Shane O Mac match with Orton at No Way Out, just throwing some ideas out there. For those who love a rivalry, DX against Legacy should be great to watch.

This has been an Assassin Article

A-Rod Out, Ryan Howard In—Steroids And True Heroes

I, like most fans am just plain tired of finding out about athlete after athlete cheating in order to get ahead. Records being broken by those who don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breathe as them.

Steroida weren't around when such players as Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gherig, or Roger Maris were around!

The last person I mentioned played for the love of the game as do a lot of players these days do. He didn't have to cheat to achieve greatness, he strived for it. Hard work, faith, and dedication was what it took in those days to be great. These days who knows what a person could take just to get an advantage.

In a league surrounded by turmoil, distraction from a steroids, and unrelenting interference from the government, thank God we have some players out there who are just like the old guys. Although they get paid a bit more than those of yesteryear, with the increased in overall financial gain for teams, they can afford to be paid that much!

This article is intended to get the word out about who I and most people believe is the next big thing in baseball. His name is Ryan Howard and this is his story!

Ryan James Howard was born on November 19, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Missouri State University where he was eventually drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the fifth round of the 2001 amateur draft. He signed his first professional contract on July 2, 2001. Preferred Bat: Mahogany Marucci RH6 Custom Cut.

He first debuted on September 1, 2004. An injury to Thome during the 2005 season paved the way for Howard, who had 22 homers and 63 RBI in just 88 games to win the NL Rookie of the Year award. Here are a few things that should catch everyone's eye and put to rest doubt in any way!

Fastest Player In MLB History to 150 Home Runs

Since June 2005: Leads Majors In Hr (175) & RBI (494)

Has At Least 40 HR And 100 RBI In Each Of First 3 Full Seasons

Career: .279, 177 HR, 499 RBI in 3 1/2 Seasons

2005: National League Rookie of the Year

2006: National League Silver Slugger

2006: National League Most Valuable Player

2006: National League Hank Aaron Award

Most impressive, he's done it with raw natural power and a sweet left-handed stroke.

Howard's name has never been linked to steroid allegations in an era when many star players have come under scrutiny for using performance-enhancing drugs. The 6'4", 252-pound Howard comes from a big family and has two brothers bigger than him.

In 2008, he hit .251 with 48 HR (led Majors) and 146 RBI (led Majors). His most telling stats are actually:

At Bats: 626 | Flyball: 38.8% | Groundball: 27.6% | Strikeout: 31.8% | GIDP: 1.8%

So people point to his average and strikeouts. He only struck out 31.8% of the time and that should improve this year as well as his average. Perhaps that's why Howard already started training in Florida long before his teammates are due to report.

Pitchers and catchers arrive in Clearwater on Saturday. With his contract settled, Howard can focus on having a better start. He has a .230 average in April, his lowest in any month. Last year, he batted just .168 the first month.

His dedication has pursuaded the Phillies to sign Howard to a three-year deal worth $54 million this past offseason, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The 2006 NL MVP will earn $15 million this season, $19 million next year, and $20 million in 2011. He can increase the base salary by $1 million in each of the last two years if he wins the MVP award during the previous year. He can boost it by $500,000 if he finishes second.

In addition to the two sides now avoiding an arbitration hearing later this week, the Phillies have successfully bought out the rest of Howard's arbitration years at what appears to be market value through the 2011 season.

Howard will turn 30 in November, so he'll get a chance to earn a big contract on the open market as a 32-year-old upon the completion of his new deal.

He is a good enough player to warrant comments from Phillies GM Ruben Amaro,Jr:

"Ryan is clearly one of the top power hitters and run producers in the major leagues and is a very important part of our championship club."

"Ryan wants to be a complete player," Amaro said. "He's motivated to do that. Ryan is the kind of guy who won't be satisfied with the numbers he's already put up. And obviously that's beneficial to our club."

I once watched an interview with Ryan and his parents which was really a bit of a shock. His mother actually manages his money and gives him an allowance. He is a humble giant, a piece of a championship team, a guy with a great personality, and just the guy that MLB needs to lead us into the next generation.

p.s. I may get some bad reviews for my next statement. Don't be surprised if Albert Pujols is one of the 103 others in the report!!

Cage Era Ends as ECW Welcomes Christian as Savior

All right, so the WWE shocked the wrestling world and Christian made his long awaited return—on ECW. A lot of people can't understand why ECW and what happens to the storyline with who attacked Jeff Hardy since both Edge and Matt Hardy denied the attacks.

The WWE and Vince McMahon have proved that it's them and not the audience who decide on what to do with the talent they sign. The thing people need to remember to question is, why did they keep the signing of Jay Reso/formerly Christian Cage/now just Christian under wraps? (And I might add that most writers kept denying that in fact he wasn't already signed, while I was the one and only who kept saying he was.)

Unlike most signings, Christian is a premier name and can carry a company—or in this case a brand. TNA was a perfect example. He now comes to ECW and Vince McMahon looks for him to resurrect the company's ratings. If anything, no one can doubt Vince's business sense. I do see Christian winning the ECW championship at WrestleMania 25 and helping develop great feuds with up and coming talent, as well as whoever may come over in the upcoming draft.

Sure, we all know his overall appeal as a competitor and that he should be on one of the flagship shows. We also know the number of fans he has, which should definitely increase ECW's ratings.

Unlike other TNA stars who signed with the WWE, Christian was thrown right into the title hunt. He is there for one reason and one reason only: to bring credibility to the ECW title and to the show itself.

Although a lot of people want to see him on SmackDown because of memories past, this is not then. This is now.

Edge is holding his own over in SmackDown and also has the Hardys on that show. Although both Hardys are feuding with one another, it would still be as though we turned back the hands of time by putting Christian on SmackDown.

Look for either Edge or Matt to confess to the attacks or ultimately someone else on SmackDown's show.

On ECW, Christian becomes the No. 1 face on the program. Does Finley, Evan Bourne, the Boogyman, Jamie Noble, or any other wrestler on the show have his star appeal?

Yes, he could have had a better return. His "suckering succotash" was somewhat comical. Everyone knew that someone with a big name had to be in the ECW title picture for its WrestleMania title defense. So I ask, without tweaking the other rosters, who has a bigger name or following than Christian?

This is for ratings and ratings alone, which translate into dollars for the WWE. On a true sense of a business decision, which has nothing to do with fan appeal, they hit a home run. He instantly brings intrigue and suspense to a brand that was on the verge of extinction.

Do I believe Christian will stay on ECW for the long haul? No. The real question is for how long. I am sure he will eventually be in the hunt for other titles as well.

The fact of the matter is that he is back. We will watch and enjoy.

Philadelphia Eagles' Offseason Has Already Started

Well, it is yet another offseason for the Philadelphia Eagles. It wasn't a true disappointment in a sense, but I guess it is every teams goal to make it to the big show and win it all!

Though it is the beginning stages of what should be a wild offseason for every team, through draft and free agency. A team could go from awful to good, which makes the NFL and the game of football that much more fun to watch.

The Eagles have made a few minor moves so far, but worth mentioning nonetheless. I am going to supply Eagle nation with that information and what some of the possibilities would be!

The Philadelphia Eagles claimed veteran DT Amon Gordon off waivers from the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday and also added two Canadian Football League players to their defense.

The 6'2"/305 Gordon has 29 tackles in 13 career games over a five-year career that has included stints with the Titans, Ravens, Broncos and Browns, who drafted him out of Stanford. The Titans added him to the practice squad midway through 2008.

The Eagles also signed LB Charleston Hughes and DB Byron Parker from the Canadian Football League, each to three-year contracts.

Hughes made 71 tackles and five sacks in 18 games for the Calgary Stampeders in 2008. He had 372 tackles and six interceptions in 45 games at Division II Northwood University from 2003 to 2006.

Charleston Hughes 6'1"/242lbs. ran a 4.6 second 40-yard dash for the Eagles and saw his film from Calgary, where Hughes had 66 tackles and five sacks as a defensive end. He has been told "no" before, by teams in the National Football League, Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League.

But on Tuesday, he didn't get no for an answer.

Instead, the 2002 Saginaw High graduate signed a three-year contract with the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles and is to report to offseason workouts on Monday, Mar. 16, he said. "I'm happy to be on the doorstep, now all I have to do is get to training camp and walk in", Hughes said.

"This is the opportunity I've been waiting for and hoping for. "I've been waiting for somebody to give me a chance, and I've got it now".

The former All-American linebacker from Northwood University worked out for the Eagles on Tuesday, was asked to take a physical, and then inked a deal via telephone with his agent Marvel Trice of Saginaw.

"Obviously, it went well", said Trice who is an attorney and certified agent with Braun, Kendrick, Finkbeiner PLC. "He did the position drills with scouts and coaches, shortly after he went through a physical and 10 minutes later I got a call from the legal department".

Hughes parlayed his one season with the CFL's Calgary Stampeders not only into a Grey Cup championship, but also tryouts with Tampa Bay, Buffalo and Philadelphia. He'll join former rival Todd Herremans, an Eagles offensive guard who played against Hughes while at Saginaw Valley State University.

Hughes, 25, played high school football in the shadow of LaMarr Woodley, who is preparing for the Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.

However, Hughes went on to make nearly 400 tackles for the Timberwolves before getting a tryout with the Detroit Lions, who declined to sign him. He also had a tryout with an AFL team before going to Canada, where the Stampeders made him the last cut of training camp this season before calling him back a week later when two defensive ends got injured in the season-opener.

"This kid deserves an opportunity to play in the NFL," Trice said.

On Jan. 27, 2009, Parker who can play both corner and safety was reported to have signed a reserve/future contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. The signing was officially confirmed by the Eagles on Feb. 3, 2009. Parker Height/Weight: 5-11/197, a four-year CFL veteran with the Toronto Argonauts, has 18 interceptions over the past three seasons, six returned for touchdowns.

Parker initially enrolled in Tulane on a college basketball scholarship and played on their team from 2001 to 2003. It was also in 2003 that Parker won the NCAA slam dunk competition. His slam dunking abilities were showcased in a 2005 CFL game at Molson Stadium against the Montreal Alouettes.

Lined up as a wide receiver, Parker caught a 42-yard touchdown reception and celebrated by dunking the ball over the cross bar uprights. He also has a 43" vertical leap.

There are also some interesting free agent names that I will list that the Eagles may be interested in as well!

I will first list a few free agents they might be interested in and then draft picks!
______________
FREE AGENTS

Jordan Gross, OT, Carolina Panthers
Jon Runyan, OT, Philadelphia Eagles
Tra Thomas, OT, Philadelphia Eagles

Ricky Williams, RB, Miami Dolphins
J.J. Arrington, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Owen Daniels, TE, Houston Texans
Leonard Pope, TE, Arizona Cardinals

Nnamdi Asomugha, CB, Oakland Raiders
Brian Dawkins, S, Philadelphia Eagles
______________
DRAFTABLE

Knowshon Moreno - RB, Georgia
Chris Wells - RB, Ohio State
LeSean McCoy - RB, Pittsburgh
Donald Brown - RB, Connecticut

Hakeem Nicks - WR, North Carolina
Darrius Heyward-Bey - WR, Maryland

Chase Coffman - TE, Missouri
James Casey - TE, Rice

Eugene Monroe - OT, Virginia
Brandon Pettigrew - OT, Oklahoma State
William Beatty - OT, Connecticut
Phil Loadholt - OT, Oklahoma
Fenuki Tupou - OT, Oregon
Alex Boone - OT, Ohio State
Selvish Capers - OT, West Virginia

William Moore - SS, Missouri
Domonique Johnson - CB, Jackson State

Thanks for reading my article and have a pleasant day!!

P.S. For those who didn't see T.J. Houshmandzadeh, there is good reason. I would personally hate the signing, period. I came across an article which might open your eyes to why!!
Chris Jericho Assaults a Female Fan; What Should the WWE Do!

All right, as we all know, what happens in a WWE arena is fixed. It's planned, scripted, and fake to an extent.

Chris Jericho now has yet another reason for the world to hate him even more. While leaving a recent WWE Raw house show, Chris Jericho was shown on YouTube attacking a female fan.

Yes, the fan put her hand on his shoulders, but watch the swift hard strike of a roundhouse right. Couldn't see if it landed, regardless he should be punished by the WWE.

I do not believe he should be fired as the altercation did happen outside of the arena and was between two adult individuals. Whether or not the female fan decides to press charges or perhaps file a civil suit remains to be seen.

You can view the video at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbnPUegD9f4

On the serious side, it will never be proper for a man or any man to lay their hands on a woman. Now, I know myself and my strengths, and I see first hand what I can do when having it out with another man.

No way would I ever put my hands on a woman just for the fact that physically...men are more dominant than women! We were made this way to be their protectors and not their masters!

I believe the WWE, if this is a real case of an assault, should make an example so that this sort of inappropriate conduct does not happen again.

A good punishment would be a three- to six-month suspension for last year's Slammy award winning Superstar of the Year. In no way, should an idol or role model to hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of people, should be acting like this!

Now as creative as the WWE is, this could of been just a hoax into something that might come of it. Perhaps Christian set to do battle with Jericho, since both are Canadian and everyone in the video was yelling you give Canadians a bad name.

Who knows? Just something to throw out there since everyone expects Christian to go to Smackdown, which does mean that he would have to debut at a pay-per-view in order to not spoil his return since Smackdowns are taped in advance of it's actual showing on Friday nights.

Just saying, this would shock the wrestling community for Christian just to go to Raw and what everyone thought they knew, never did!!

Regardless of whether it indeed was a real act of *sshole-ism or a scripted plot that leads to a storyline. The WWE and Vince McMahon must stop this, even if it is fake. In no sense is it fine to strike a woman and shouldn't be even for a storyline.

Think about the message that these acts send to our younger generation!

Why the Phillies Should Sign Manny Ramirez

Alright, yes he has some character issues. Sure, a lot of teams are not biting on signing him for his talents. Has he done this to himself, absolutely!

One would think that this is a learning experience for him. I mean come on, he should of known better when Barry Bonds wasn't offered a contract because of the mess he is currently in. Now if every team in baseball can resist adding the greatest player of all time statistically (steroids or not), then why not you Manny?

This only shows that no one is bigger than the sport of baseball!

Enough is enough, and I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. Now before passing judgement, here me out and feel free to comment and vote!

Charlie Manuel, the beloved manager of the World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies, used to manage this guy. In the minors and at the major league level. He knows Manny's strength and weaknesses. Perfect example is how well the Phillies pitched against him in the playoffs. They didn't walk him; they went after him and kept the ball low and outside.

Manny does look at Charlie as a father figure and respects his advice and wisdom, especially Charlie's knowledge of the game. So, I ask, why not bring these two back together again and make the Phillies the most feared team in all of baseball (that's including the Yankees and Red Sox)?

Sure, the Phillies just let Pat Burrell walk and signed Raul Ibanez. Neither one is or close to the player Manny Ramirez is. You can easily trade Ibanez in a package for whomever and clear the left field spot for Manny. No disrespect to Ibanez, but if there was a chance...you'd have to go!

Just imagine Philadelphia fans or just those being curious about this article of a lineup looking like this:

SS- Jimmy Rollins

CF- Shane Victorino

2B- Chase Utley

LF- Manny Ramirez

1B- Ryan Howard

RF- Jason Werth/Raul Ibanez

3B- Perdo Feliz/Gregg Dobbs

C- Carlos Ruiz

Sure, he would cost a lot...but would be well worth it. Be smart, make sure there are clauses for if he were to mess up. The team could release him from his contract, no questions asked!

He carried the Dodgers in the playoffs, he is the most clutch hitter in baseball, and even though the Phillies don't need him. He would be a great addition to a team looking to build on another championships.

Not sure if anyone watched "Meet The Phillies" on Comcast Sports Net. Every Phillies player that was shown is not satisfied with just winning a championship; they want more. They definitely want to repeat as World Champions, but build a dynasty like the Yankees and Red Sox.

I say why not? Alright, if the Phillies were to sign Manny, there would be an instant buzz in Philadelphia, regardless if you agreed with the signing or not. Not only that, you can guarantee a sellout for almost every game.

With the revenue coming in, it should pay for itself. Not only that, say you sign him to three years, once he is done with this contract. He will more than likely be done with baseball. Use the money that free's up to sign Howard to a long term deal when his arbitration years are done.

I know, it's a lot of money and yes we can repeat as champs even without Manny's help. BUT, with Manny...just imagine, will you please?

Vindicated: Christian Was Set To Appear At The Royal Rumble!!

Well, for those disbelievers out there and those who doubt. Now when time goes bye and things start to unravel facts start to appear. Read between the lines and all of us Christian fans will be expecting him sometime real soo!

I bring to you a published report that indeed Christian was set to make an appearance at the Royal Rumble and were changed to the heel turn of Matt Hardy. Even though there are published reports out there about what happens on this edition of Smackdown I will still watch it. No I will not tell what happens for those who just wait to watch for the enjoyment!

On Rajah.com where the source originates from Wrestling Observer Newsletter that state this, "...there was a lot of unhappiness among WWE officials regarding news of Matt Hardy's turn on brother Jeff at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view leaking onto the internet before the show. They're especially upset because the original idea they had in mind had gotten out, hence the Hardy heel turn. News regarding Hardy's heel turn was available online a few hours prior to the show."

Article can be found at this link.

So, since he is over do to make his long awaited return. Hope we see him soon and I personally look forward to see what his new entrance them and music shall be! Enjoy and comments are welcome and appreciated. Have a great day and be safe!

Boldin In Eagles Green!

Alright, realistically this can and hopefully will happen!

The Eagles' most pressing needs right now are offensive line, back up running back or future running back (Brian Westbrook's heir apparent), and to sign some of our significant free agents!

Also, WR!!

Although, the Eagles have a big play threat now in DeSean Jackson and some competent receivers. If the Eagles were to somehow get Boldin via trade, their offense could be explosive game-in and game-out.

Their defense is already strong enough and will surely only give up a certain amount of points. This point being, there defense is good enough to stop or hold good offenses from scoring in masses. Their offense isn't good enough to score at will or often enough against a good defense!

The Eagles are stocked with draft picks including two first round selection in this year's draft. They also have the salary cap space available to sign him to a long term extension. He is no T.O. (Terrell Owens) or Plaxico Burress in terms of getting in trouble and making the wrong choices. He is just displeased over a breach of an agreement between himself and the Arizona Cardinals management.

He is worried about his future and just wants security and stability!

He never has problems with teammates, and when hurt, still wishes to play. He is a team player and would mesh well with the chemistry the Eagles have. Would be great for Philadelphia because he is a blue collar kind of guy. Wasn't drafted very high and worked for what he has.

His climb to the elites is predicated to his work ethic and motivation to get better or become one of the best if not the best when his career is done. He is still young, has great hands, good size, and decent speed. This would sure be a steal for the Philadelphia Eagles.

One thing is almost a sure bet, Boldin wants out and he might just get his wish!

What WWE Should Do With Christian: The Pros and Cons!

All right, so I read a few articles on here that made some sense, and if the WWE were to scroll through some of our articles or take interest in them...PAY ATTENTION!

ECW

All right, we all know Christian is not going to ECW, although the ratings for ECW would go up, if he were. Now the WWE won't do that because by now all of us here know how big of a superstar Jay Reso/Christian is. It would just be a waste, although you should send MVP over there...that could boost ratings also!

SmackDown

All right, this past week we noticed a difference in hair style with Adam Copeland/Edge and the return of the five-second pose! Things seem to be pointing that Christian is headed to SmackDown, and who knows what the plot or storyline will be. It's starting to look as if Christian will be joining forces once again with Edge and...blah blah blah!

Good thing they didn't do Christian vs. Edge, 'cause that is all us fans would need. Two storylines of brothers having a rivalry! The Hardys twist was nice and unexpected and could boost Matt Hardy to a good heel role, perhaps something he might thrive in!

Look, we all know Vince McMahon wants things his way. Truth be told, the whole freakin' world knows that Edge and Christian are not brothers—just lifelong best buds from the 6th grade. They always have kept in touch, and we all know that the creative team for SmackDown and Edge wanted him back on that brand. To be honest, depending on the storyline...it would be a waste of time and talent!

Yes, the tag team division in the WWE has soured. It is starting to come alive with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Jr., Crime Tyme, The Miz and Morrison, and Carlito and Primo!

Raw

This is where I believe Christian can do the most damage! Look Vince, you weren't high on Christian before. What did he do? He went to another company and carried it! His dedication, performance, mic skills, and personality are what you can really use on Raw. You have Cena, which is good, Jericho, who is starting to be a bore...and you have Orton and his Legacy members, which you are currently feuding with!

You should start a Raw off with Orton coming out with his faction, him running his mouth about how the McMahons and nobody in the back can stop or do anything about him and his crew. All of a sudden, Vince's music hits and he comes out. He talks about how he is back from the concussion that kept him away from work, and he did some thinking. He knows that Orton will get a title shot at WrestleMania, even though Vince doesn't like it.

Vince goes on to say how Orton doesn't deserve it for his actions, but what Vince can do is change a few things. He then explains, oh, you'll wrestle at WrestleMania all right—BUT you will have two matches! The first match you will be in is against this man and good luck...all of a sudden Christian's new music starts playing, and his entrance and return to the WWE finally comes and is official.

After a delay of a few seconds so Christian can bask in the reception he gets from the crowd, Tomko then comes out behind him as always getting his back (he is still signed with the WWE)! Christian starts talking about how wrong Orton is about being the future of the WWE, making Orton look really stupid and hyping up what should be an instant classic at WrestleMania!

In ending

That five-second pose that happened on SmackDown could just used to throw people off and all. Whatever the case, in my opinion he would be better off on Raw!

What does everyone else think? Comments please!

Philadelphia Phillies Set To Win Another World Series Title?

Hello Phillies fans, LETS GO 2009!!

Alright, whether others want to admit it or not. The other teams in our division didn't help themselves as much as they might have liked and I truly believe they came up short (unless of course if the Mets by some chance sign Manny Ramirez)!

The Mets just beefed up their bullpen which I didn't believe brought them over the edge. Their offense was inconsistent and the defense could have been better.

The Braves signed a couple of over-the-hill starting pitchers. One who could have had a better post season in the majors and one unproven commodity who comes over from Japan in his mid-30's!

In addition to both teams trying to improve, the Braves lost what could be a find to Boston in John Smoltz (who I believe is not done yet).

Johan Santana I believe is a bust. I know, how could he be a bust right? Well I agree he is a good pitcher, but the best left-hander in the National League East is by far Cole Hamels! By far he proved without a doubt that he is one of the very best pitchers in the majors by having the post season he had. Winning both the NLCS and World Series MVP.

Marlins and Nationals are still a few years away. Both are young teams and full of talent. They don't have the biggest of markets and tend to trade away a lot of their younger talent or allow them to walk because they don't want to pay what it takes to keep good or great players around. I feel you for you guys though, for a while we were the ones doing exactly the same thing!

The Phillies return all their starters from last year, minus Pat "The Bat" Burrell. Although he will be missed, even though he had a few up and down years. I believe he will be better off in Tampa as less time in the outfield will keep him fresh and healthy. I also believe the guy we got from Seattle is much better overall.

Ibanez brings a consistent higher batting average. Believably even though he is a left handed hitter, almost hit close to .300 against left-handers. He also has more speed in the outfield and a better glove. So yes, that is a very good improvement. I am not worried about the drop in production as far as home runs and rbis go.

Ibanez has averaged between 20-30 homers the past couple of years. At "The Bank", those numbers will either stay the same or improve. His rbi count these past couple of years average 105-110. We also added a few more pieces to our bullpen which was already THE BEST in the majors and anyone who argues that face is just plain...well let's not go there.

The Phillies not only are experienced but are also starting to build a pretty formidable minor league system. They have at least five pitchers who could start in this league next year no problem and that doesn't include Adam Eaton (lol).

End, Phillies make the World Series again as the best team in the NL. Do they win it, I really don't know...but it will sure be fun to watch!

What a Change in the Storyline for the Royal Rumble

Alright, Jay Reso/Christian was suppose to make his debut back with the WWE last night. Of course, as we all know, Vince is a guy who likes surprises and when the crowd started chanting "we want christian" it could of made him change his mind.

Perhaps this may of shown Vince what kind of star power Christian truly has. The change with Matt being the guy behind the whole thing was a complete shock to almost everyone!!

Now, I believe one of two things. Either Christian will be at tonight's Raw show, being that Vince can say he brought back Christian and Tomko (who is still signed to a WWE contract) to take care of Orton and his Legacy.

The only reason why this will not probably happen is because now that Orton has won the Royal Rumble, the storyline with him feuding with Cena leading up to Wrestlemania must come into affect.

It will be interesting to see what happens tonight, because if there is one thing that is certain...Orton must pay! No way Vince lets this slide.

I also read an article on this site which makes a little more sense to me and could be a great way for Christian coming back to the WWE!

The article was written by Jason Wick; it was his first article, and I must compliment him on a pretty good storyline that seems like it could happen!

Yes, Hardy does have a rematch clause, but with the feud that will be going on between the two brothers...it leaves open who is Edge going to face??

Well, Matt very well could of just came to a boiling point last night and really wasn't a part of what was going on with Jeff Hardy. Could Christian actually be the one who is really behind this. Could Matt come out while Edge is running his mouth and say that he absolutely had nothing to do with what was happening to Jeff Hardy, but he knows who?

Fact is, Matt hats Adam Copeland/Edge, who stole his girl in real life "Lita!" So Matt could very well tell him what he thinks and all of a sudden Christians new music comes on. Here he comes, out to a roaring crowd and lays it down on why he did what he did and that its only going to get worse for Edge!

Stay tuned everyone; if there is one thing I do know for sure, Christian will be on either Raw or Smackdown!!!

Christian Will Be At The Royal Rumble!

As I was the very first to write about Christian already signing with the WWE, as Vince is keeping it on the hush, hush! No Web site out there will confirm it, but then again. I do know Jay personally so...

He will be making his first appearance back in the WWE at this Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view! I must say that Vince and his staff were great at keeping this news quiet, but everyone already knew because of the storyline being designed. Yes he will be a heel, but don't be surprised if being a heel is shor-lived and don't be shocked if by the end of the 2009 year...

Christian is a face and champion as well.

There are rumblings that Christian may wear a mask at the Rumble and reveal his true identity at the Smackdown! following the Rumble. There are rumblings that he may be a surprise entrance into the Rumble and win it upsetting every ones favorite pick, Randy Orton! Regardless, you Jay Reso fans will be pleased nonetheless with his long awaited return to the greatest show on earth, the WWE!!

Breaking News: Christian Cage Set to Sign WWE Contract This Week

As reported by many sources including my own, Jay Reso/Christian Cage was at last night's edition of Raw hanging out backstage with a few old friends. He is set to sign his WWE contract by the end of the weekend! Now, no one knows if he will make an appearance before the Royal Rumble.

Speculation is if he does't appear at the Royal Rumble, then he will make his debut at the following week's Smackdown show! Mostly all true wrestling observers are pretty much set that he will return at the Royal Rumble as I believe as well.

Welcome back to the WWE Christian, hopefully Vince gives you a push that will keep you in the main event status!

Breaking NewsL Christian Cage Reported to be Backstage at Raw!

Now, anytime you hear a rumor like this you can only wonder. Will tonight be the night that Christian Cage signs his new contract live on Monday Night RAW? Of course he might not make an appearance or he might, the fact of the matter is.

IF, he does have a 90 day no compete clause. It clearly states that he cannot compete in a WWE match for 90 days. However, making an appearance and getting a story line going is not our of the question. What kind of surprises are in store, stay tuned!!

Wouldn't it be something if Vince fooled us all and made the first edition of Raw in the new year the beginning of Christian's Legacy!

Christian Cage Is Coming Back To The WWE

Let me be the first to correct some things that have been floating around Bleacher Report.

Christian Cage is on his way back to the WWE as reported on Rajah.com, but he DOES NOT have to wait the 90 days to make an appearance.

There is speculation that he does or doesn't have the 90 day no compete clause.

Also to be noted, if he wanted to return to the WWE as "Christian Cage" he can. He himself owns the rights to the name simply because he used the name before even wrestling in WWE to begin with. In all honesty he should come back to the WWE as Christian Cage and not just 'Christian'!

To be clear, he could be making an appearance very soon. Yes, he will be at the Royal Rumble but it is not known in what capacity.

Only time will prove whom the most accurate Bleacher Report writer is, so hold all opinions until then!

HINT - I know Jayson Reso (Christian) personally and have been acquainted with him since he first left the WWE for TNA in the first place:-)

Christian Cage To Return At Royal Rumble

Alright, this much is already known!

Christian Cage's TNA contract is set to expire this week. The WWE has offered him a contract three times as much as TNA has offered, so everyone's belief is that he is headed back to the WWE.

The two rumors circulating right now is that he will either be one of the last entry's into the Royal Rumble, winning it and getting his title shot. The other is of course if you have seen this past week's Smackdown. Vicki Guerrero stated that the Hardy's are again together and next week it will be The Hardy's vs. Edge and Big Show.

Now this could be the starting point of where Christian's storyline. The Hardy's could wind up winning the match setting up Edge making a challenge at the Royal Rumble which will be The Hardy's vs. Edge and a partner of his choosing.

Eventually, of course, Edge and Christian wind up feuding further down the road and Christian beats Edge for the title.

Again, these are just rumors. BUT, wrestler observers and writters everywhere do expect Christian Cage making his long awaited return to the WWE nonetheless at the Royal Rumble!!!
