Vodacom Cup: Orlando Pirates FC 2 Manchester City FC 0, Aftermath

Player rating 0 - 9

Taylor 0 (Absolute shambles)

Tal Ben Haim 0 (Why on earth hes still in the first team mystifies me)
Garrido 0 (As usual useless)
Vidal 6 (Played well but was isolated)
Zabaleta 6 (played well but ineffective)

Mee 0 (Midfielder used as a defender)

Weiss 9 (Tried with all his heart)
Johnson 0 (Fat and average)
Petrov 6 (Ineffective)
De Jong 6 (Second half sub, was all to late)
Ireland 6 (Ineffective)

Benjani 0 (Poor, no surprise)
Bojinov 6 (Tried but no luck on the day)
Bellamy 0 (Usual self)
Caicedo 0 (Second half sub, Poor, No surprise)

Mark Hughes 0 (Absolute disgrace)

Players that played no part:

Tevez, Cruz, Given, Onouha, Dunne,
Richards, Barry, Robinho, Elano,
Swp, Etuhu, Bridge, Logan, Schmeichel.

Any player not mentioned are injured.

Humiliated by an average but affective African football club, what on earth was Mark Hughes on, surely he has lost the plot?

The Orlando Pirates just pushed upfield and played Sunday League running around like crazed rabid cheetah's coming at us like freight trains.

There was no midfield powerhouse for City as Kompany is out injured and Gareth Barry benched, so the Pirates just went straight through the middle and down the right flank.

It is obvious the Pirates did their homework noticing that our weakest point was on the left so Garrido had to take the heat, on his own also as Petrov was defensively ineffective.

It was a lineup thrown together by an amateur football computer game manager, Hughes is definitely treating this Cup with little respect and is in turn doing no great favour to our growing reputation, I hate to think what the Africans think of us.

It was an utter disgrace, I am wondering what Carlos Tevez was thinking while in the stand watching.

Indonesian Government Plea For Man United to Stay, They Tuck Tail and Run

The Indonesian people will not get the chance to enjoy watching Manchester United as United have decided to cut short they stay in Jakarta.

Jakarta and more importantly Indonesia is known for its troubles with terrorists and bombings so why plan pre-season trips there anyway?

It is obvious United are soiling themselves after two hotels were attacked, one being the hotel they were due to stay at.

Yes it was actually attacked before they arrived so it is not like they were being targeted.

The bombings were reported to have taken nine lives in the Indonesian City.

United reports that after consultations with relevant authorities they have decided to cancel their scheduled trip to Jakarta.

However Indonesian presidential spokesman, Dino Patti Djalal urged United to press ahead with the visit. Djalal told the Jakarta Post, "There is no more powerful message to the world than to continue with the Jakarta match as planned."

United however have confirmed the decision stands and issued the following statement on Saturday:

"The decision to cancel the Jakarta leg of the tour was not taken lightly, but after an act of terrorism. The club received advice from a variety of sources, including our own Foreign Office. That advice has not changed and so the club's decision has to stand.

"Everyone at the club is disappointed not to be able to play in Indonesia, but it has a responsibility to its players and staff."

I have checked the Home Office and with the British Embassy and there are no warnings to adhere to concerning Indonesia other than the usual advice.

I personally think it shows ignorance and incompetence on United's behalf and as a result the Indonesian people lose out.

Where exactly is the security force employed by the club if they are to enter such a country? Why on earth is a club taking such risks in the first place?

Is it just another publicity stunt, putting themselves in the line of dormant fire, seems to me like they are playing with fire.

Should United have done a better job of security?

Should they have not of chosen a place like Indonesia in the first place?

Will you look at this as United being brave and honourable taking such risk?

Should they have stayed and completed the tour or were they right to up and leave?

Are United in a right mess behind the scenes and has the boat been rocked a little too much?

Global Sporting Hypocrisy: Have People Gone Mad or Are They That Stupid?

Over the past 12 months, we have all watched the sleeping giant (a la Manchester City) rise from its slumber, some have welcomed the arrival with neutral open arms for the giant breathes crisp freshness into a predictable but popular English Premier League but others have shunned the idea of wanting another elite club joining the elite.

The main reason the English Premier League has become the most popular league in the world is because of the dominance of the top four British clubs in Europe (Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, and Arsenal) combined they muster a huge glory hungry fan base on a global scale.

Then you have the home of football, England the English way and the English people, tough tackling with 'it ain't over until I say it's over' attitude, where the under-dog if your lucky will sweat blood to destroy the giants of English football.

When I were a small boy I remember meeting up with a few buddies after school, we would role out the Subbuteo field and position our teams on the field of play, I had two teams one obviously being Manchester City FC and the other Luton Town FC in black and white, I was given Luton by a friend so I had a bit of variety I guess seeing as he had almost every single team possible.

Subbuteo taught me one thing, that its not always about winning, its about playing the beautiful game, I never really understood why I hated players like Roy Keane so much until after I learnt this lesson.

Anyway now that Manchester City have finally awoken it seems the world truely has gone bonkers:

City trying to buy trophey's and title's.

Is that not what every successful football club in the world has done already themselves?

City trying to buy their way into the Champions League.

Again is that not the only way into the Champions League, by paying for good enough players to get you there?

City killing football.

How on earth are City killing football, last I looked football was alive and well fighting fit?

City not a great club and have no history.

City was founded in 1880, Chelsea was founded in 1905, 25 years after, even Liverpool were not founded until 1892, 12 years after Manchester City.

To me clubs like Nottingham Forest FC and Manchester City FC are big clubs, I will educate you a bit more by stating Manchester City FC hold the English club record of highest ever attendance, 84.569 in English football set v Stoke City in 1934.

Manchester City FC were the first English club after World War II to field an Ex German prisoner of war named Bert Trautmann who served as a Paratrooper in the Luftwaffe, he gained strong opposition but gave his all, even played through the last 15 minutes of an FA Cup final with a broken neck for City who went on to win in 1956.

In total made 545 appearances for Manchester City FC.

Since 1898 City have win the Premier League title two times, First Division seven times, Second division once, FA Cup four times, League Cup twice, Charity Shield three times and the European Cup Winners Cup once.

Manchester City FC were so so so so small after World War II that the mighty Man United had to come begging City to allow United to rent City's Maine Road stadium as Old Trafford was bombed by the Germans.

Here's a few video's to educate and entertain.

1989 Derby & 2004 FA Cup

City inflating the transfer market

£32 Million for Robinho, that's one player V a lifetime of Man United blowing other clubs out of the water.

How much did Rio Ferdinand cost from Leeds United? How much did the flop Berbatov cost exactly? And he is not even half the striker Robinho is.

Then there is selling Kaka to Real Madrid for how much? Tut tut AC Milan, remember we 'City' may of bid but we did not buy so if it did not happen then it did not happen.

Then Ronaldo to Real Madrid for how much? Who exactly is inflating prices here. Am I the only one smelling the stink coming from the swamp named Old Trafford left by the wrinkly old Scot Ferguson, the stink of hypocrisy.

Big players won't come to City.

Robinho, Carlos Tevez, Gareth Barry, the door is open and more will come.

City are not entitled to anything.

Then that will make it all the more sweeter.

The English Premier League

Many are talking up the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka to La Liga as the fall of the English Premier League, I think they are totally bonkers to think such a thing as now the English Premier League have become one stronger, more competitive and now the other 14 clubs in this league are thinking 'well if City can do it maybe one day we can do it too.'

Even Crystal Palace FC are dreaming the dream currently in the Championship, Portsmouth FC also are flirting with the dream of following City, City have injected a freshness into English football, a belief that with a little luck, bit of fortune and a lot of faith, it really is possible.

No club is bigger, no club is smaller, football is like life. Its a struggle for some and a luxury for others so with that said I will not be forgetting the struggle because that is what made Manchester City FC who we are today.

What has the world come too.

On another note I'm loving the fact Manchester City FC are taking Pro Man United newspaper The Sun to court for lying through their back teeth as usual with the suspect author being a Man United fan, there was me thinking you could only spot them on Cops with Cams, Police Interceptors, Road/Street Wars or Crimewatch UK.

I just purchased my new thicker skin, the Ultra blue mark II from Ebay.

Manchester City Defencive Transfer Update: Lucio a No Go

Bayern Munich have agreed to sell Brazilain Lucio to Inter Milan. "The Brazil captain agreed on Thursday to end the contract running until June 30, 2010," Bayern said.

The 31-year-old defender moves immediately to Italian Champions Inter Milan on a three-year deal, with both sides have agreed to keep financial terms a secret.

Meanwhile David Moyes has stated he will fight until the bitter end to try keep Joleon Lescott at Everton.

"I have already said there will be no players sold at Everton and I do not feel I need to say any more," said the Scot.

"The board have never sold a player from me, it will only be at my discretion. I said it at the end of the season and I do not need to say any more."

Chairman Bill Kenwright supported his manager, adding: "There is no pressure on David to sell anyone. Any decisions are his and his alone."

It remains to be seen whether Moyes can refuse another big bid from City.

Chelsea FC seem to have gone quiet after Hughes publically broadsided a blistering cannon ball, it also remains to be seen if John Terry will take to the plank of his own free will. On that note Terry is on tour with the Chelsea squad in the USA so its unlikely he will be arriving at City.

The other alternatives are Bruno Alves, Lucas Neill or Luisao, all have registered their interest in the past.

Predictions:

Terry NO

Lucio NO

Lescott, Alves, Neill, Luisao. Possible

Manchester City Latest: Hughes Looks to Further Strengthen Club Staff

If reports are to be believed, Peter Kenyon is on his way out of Chelsea after being benched at Stamford Bridge.

The former Man United chief and Umbro man is disappointed at playing only a bit part in the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti and seeing Luiz Felipe Scolari sacked while he was away from the club.

Chelsea have also appointed a new sporting director in the form of Frank Arnesen so Kenyon will be losing his role in player signings, whether that affects him is yet to be seen but Chelsea insist Kenyon is staying at the Bridge and no one else is lined up to replace anyone.

Speculation has it that Manchester city are to offer Peter Kenyon a way out of Chelsea.

On another page, reports suggest that Mark Hughes is intending to raid his old club again but not for a player this time round, Hughes is looking to bring in another former Man United employee in the form of Blackburn physio Dave Fevre, it is suggested Hughes is on the case of the highly-rated physio as we speak.

Meanwhile former Manchester City youngster Bradley Wright-Phillips, younger brother to Shaun Wright-Phillips has left Southampton FC to join Plymouth Argyle FC on a two year deal. Good luck to you Bradley.

Manchester City Transfer Predictions, City to Press at 2pm GMT

Manchester City FC are set to unveil the signing of Carlos Tevez at 2pm GMT live.

Meanwhile, here are some possible transfer predictions:

John Terry (Doubtful)

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has stated John Terry is not for sale at any price, Ancelotti says John Terry is and will continue to be the heart of Chelsea while John Terry himself has been reluctant to make any public speech.

Joleon Lescott (Doubtful, very slim chance)

Everton rejected the first bid and then rejected the second bid, Everton have no need to sell any players and as it stands Everton are only in the window for young fullback Kyle Naughton so are not in a position of replacing any outgoing defenders.

City have not made a third bid though a third bid has been mentioned by the media and it is understood Everton will reject another bid for Lescott.

Lucio (50/50)

FC Bayern Munich have stated they are open to the right offer which makes Lucio available, City have apparently registered their interest with Bayern Munich. Though aged 31 Lucio still has a lot to give, still good and ready for at least another three years minimum.

Bruno Alves (50/50)

FC Porto's 27-year-old Portugese centreback also available at the right price, another defender that City are tracking.

Lucas Neill (surprise target / Free Agent)

After walking away from West Ham Lucas became a free agent, if all fails with bringing in any of the above then I predict Hughes has this card up his sleeve.

Carlos Tevez to Join City's Frontline In Africa: Transfer Roundup

Reports state Argentinian international Carlos Tevez will attend a medical later today at Carrington, Tevez is due back from holiday this morning.

Mark Hughes is eager to have Tevez onboard for the coming Africa tour so it should not be long before Manchester City FC make it official.

Meanwhile it is reported that Manchester City are attempting to hijack AC Milan's bid to sign Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano after giving up on Samuel Eto'o.

Barcelona are apparently trying to revive City's bid for fear of seeing Eto'o leave on a free transfer next year.

At Chelsea, Roman Abramovich has apparently told John Terry he will not be sold at any price, if this is true then Terry will have no option but to see out his current contract at Chelsea.

Reports state Manchester City are preparing another bid for Everton's Joleon Lescott after failing to land John Terry.

Rumour has it City are also preparing a bid for Porto's Bruno Alves, should Everton refuse the next and final incoming bid from City.

Manchester City: Gelson Fernandes Joins French Side St. Etienne

Manchester City FC can confirm midfielder Gelson Fernandes has joined French side St. Etienne for an undisclosed fee.

The headless chicken has finally departed to the delight of this City fan, hip hip. Good luck for the future Fernandes.

He signed for Manchester City FC from Swiss club FC Sion. In Gelson's time with City he racked up 59 appearances, scoring only four times and earning 11 yellow cards and 1 red card in all competitions.

Manchester City Tell Eto'o, Sign or Lose Opportunity for Good

The Mirror reports Manchester City FC have told Samuel Eto'o he has 24 hours to sign on the dotted line for City or lose the chance to join City for good.

Eto'o is playing a stubborn game with FC Barcelona, as he refuses to answer Laporta's phone calls, with Barcelona refusing to pay Eto'o a chunk of the £35 million transfer fee.

Either that or Eto'o is holding out and time-wasting in hopes that Chelsea FC come in with a bid for his services.

Mirror Sport revealed that Eto'o has told his friends that he would prefer a move to Chelsea if they came in with a bid, however, that would be unlikely due to the fee and the player's wages.

I am only one City fan, I hope after those 24 hours for our sakes that Manchester City really do pull the plug on Eto'o, if i had my way i'd pull the plug right now.

What do you think?

Mark Hughes v. Sven Goran-Eriksson, The Truth About Sven and Hughes

Morons thinking Sven Goran-Eriksson was better than Mark Hughes prompted me to write this, any City fan who would want Sven back is clearly confused.

Eriksson and his team

Allowed Daniel Sturridge's contract to run out

Purchased Rolando Bianchi who flopped.

Purchased Gelson Fernandes, the headless chicken who cannot pass or tackle to save his own life.

Sven racked up more debt and half the debt was on complete flops in the form of Gelson Fernandes, Rolando Bianchi and Brazilian Jo.

Elano, Martin Petrov, and Valeri Bojinov was the only good signings but Sven had no hand in either as his coaching staff recommended them.

Martin Petrov, Michael Johnson, and Valeri Bojinov are all injured.

Elano, after his bright start, faded out into the background, why? We will never know unless he tells us the story himself, we know this much though, he's performing for Brazil now and under Mark Hughes had shown sparks of Elano of old in his last few performances for City.

Vedran Corluka was also a good signing BUT ended up demanding a transfer away from City.

Loaned Mexican Nery Castillo who hardly got a look in in the end, money wasted.

So that was Micah Richards, Michael Johnson, and Valeri Bojinov all out injured and City did not even have the proper facilities to give the players 110%

Allowed players to do as they please, our training sessions reminded me of when I'd hook up with a few mates to have a kick about on our local playing field. Believe me I saw it with my own eyes, no order or discipline at all what so ever.

Even Stephen Ireland admitted to how pathetic Sven G Eriksson was, after the 8-1 humiliation by Middlesbrough in the last game of the season under Sven, Ireland stated some of the City players and management were laughing their backsides off, he also said that was the lowest point of his career and because of this he considered life away from City.

To me, it was the worst match of my City life.

How many City fans would have been happy if we had lost Ireland?

Only memorable point was beating Man United twice, if this blinded you to the truth then you should think about that and decide how not to let it happen again whether it be in sport or in your day to day life. I was almost taken in until someone started pointing a few things out.

I will remember Sven for one thing and one thing only, seeing him sitting there posing for the cameras on match day while his right hand man commanded the technical area, not once did I see him get off his backside to talk tactics with his slave, the man had zero percent passion. City only knew how to play one way under Sven and if that did not work then City were on their own.

Sven had the money but failed big time.

Sven may have a shining CV in other countries but in England he is a complete fraud and failure.

Hughes and his team

Oversaw the arrivals of Robinho and Pablo Zabaleta.

Purchased one flop, aka Tal Ben Haim, 'my bad'.

Told us City fans that our club had a disgraceful lack of Premier League facilities and personnel compared to most Premier League clubs and he was right.

Hughes then oversaw the construction of high-tech facilities and brought in top notch personnel to drive the club forward on and off the field.

Hughes brought stability and a work ethic to Manchester City.

Hughes has signed: Gareth Barry, Shay Given, Stuart Taylor, Roque Santa Cruz, and soon to confirm the signing of Carlos Tevez.

Now that City have the facilities good enough to provide for our players, we now see the evidence with Michael Johnson, Valeri Bojinov, Martin Petrov almost fit and ready for the new season.

2008-09 stabilised Manchester City and now we are back where we belong.

Judge Hughes on season 2009-10.

Chelsea Fans Dream On, Tevez Is A City Man, Terry Demanding Showdown

It is being reported that Chelsea are trying to hijack the Tevez deal, personally I think this is just some jumped up Chelsea fan on a windup because there is no doubt in my mind that they have zero chance of signing Tevez.

Carlos wants first team football and he will get that at City but at Chelsea he would be up against Drogba, Anelka, and Kalou—you don't need to be a brain surgeon to figure it out.

Is this just some Chelsea fan trying to stir up a story so to get Manchester City to panic?

Meanwhile reports suggest John Terry is disgusted about not being approached by Chelsea officials over his future after interest from Manchester City FC was logged.

Terry is apparently demanding showdown talks with Roman Abramovich while it is being reported Manchester City FC are preparing to make another bid for John Terry.

John Terry has only just arrived back from his holiday but expected to at least get a phone call from his current employers which never came.

Did something happen that we don't know about on holiday in the UAE? It is reported that John Terry is on £20k less than Frank Lampard so I can not see this being a showdown just to get a little bit more cash so what is the showdown for? Reassurances of his first team place or does he really want a new challenge?.

This is getting very interesting no matter how you look at it, if City do not pull off the Terry capture then City will turn to either England international Joleon Lescott or Brazil international Lucio.

England's World Cup Bid Goes Under the Knife: Inspections Away!

15 Cities, containing up to 22 stadiums, have registered their interest ahead of tomorrow's deadline saying they want to be part of the bid.

At least 12 to 18 arenas will be chosen by the end of the year and the cities and stadiums highlighted below are guaranteed to be hosting World Cup games if England win the chance to host the 2018 or 2022 World Cup—this due to their stadiums being over the minimum requirement of 40,000 capacity.

London

Wembley Stadium—90,000

Emirates Stadium—60,000

Stamford Bridge—42,000

Villa Park—42,000

White Hart Lane, Spurs will have to complete building to host any World Cup matches

Manchester

City Of Manchester Stadium—47,000

Old Trafford—76.000 < just outside Manchester

Liverpool

Anfield—45,000

Goodison Park—40,000 (Everton's new stadium is currently facing government enquiry with fan disapproval of the stadium leaving the Liverpool city boundaries).

Newcastle

St James Park—52,000

Sunderland

Stadium of Light—49,000

Nottingham

New Nottingham Forest Stadium—Planned to open in 2014

Other cities who have registered their interest in hosting games are: Birmingham, Bristol, Derby, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Portsmouth, Sheffield.

These cities will have to rebuild stadiums capable of World Cup game-hosting requirements—Birmingham is currently the only city planning for a new stadium that will meet requirements.

The London Olympic Stadium is also being talked about, if not to host World Cup matches then to host as a training venue.

Ancelotti Press Conference, Terry and Manchester City

All media outlets are reporting John Terry will not be leaving Chelsea but from what I understand after listening to Carlo's press rant is that Carlo is riding on Terry staying based purely on what John Terry has said in the past.

Carlo Ancelotti has not spoken with Terry as Terry is not due back from holiday for at least another week.

John Terry is on record as saying in the PAST that he would love to stay at Chelsea for the rest of his playing career but he said that in the past and not now.

So what could have changed? Can't a man change his mind?

If you listen carefully to Mr Ancelotti, he states that Terry DID say he wanted to stay at Chelsea for good and that Terry will still be Chelsea's captain but what he did not say was that he would be captain "should he stay".

My opinion on th matter is: If John Terry did join City then I would be happy but if he did not then I would still be happy.

Florentino Perez Wants Super League, What A Circus Act That Would Be!

Above: Perez gets all warm and fuzzy with Kaka, his new toy.

Real Madrid president and football killer (joke) Florentino Perez has called for all the world's wealthiest clubs to form a Super League.

Who is this guy kidding, so he wants his back garden to become a playground for Real Madrid so he can show off his two new acquisitions, Kaka and Ronaldo.

Perez calls for the Super League to run alongside the Uefa leagues and national domestic leagues and national domestic cups and the World Cup and the European Cup and the Confederations Cup.

Who is this guy really kidding? These footballers are human and not bloody machines so you can not expect a player to play in the World Cup, Confederations Cup, all domestic cups, their respected domestic league, the Champions League and another bloody league can you?

More Prize Money for the top richest teams meaning no one is ever going to really compete unless they are taken over by mega rich new owners.

More Fatigue and Extra Burden on already stretched athletes, these footballers are pushing themselves as far a any other sportsman or woman.

"The 62-year-old is keen for Europe's elite to regularly play each other, something he does not believes happens enough in the UEFA Champions League."

I'll tell you what Mr Perez, how about we put your 62-year-old backside through the paces of an English Premier League club that is in the Champions League and see how you fare.

Supporters—and I mean the real supporters—how on earth are they to pay to support their club in this financial climate, or is this an idea purely to put on a show for corporate business and the rich and famous who have the type of money and if so who loses out for this showboating circus act?

I'll tell you who suffers, the footballers suffer, and the real fans suffer, I say so stuff your Super League Mr Florentino Perez and stuff your circus act Real Madrid too.

We like our football as it is so stick to playing with your fantasy galactico football team and leave the real football to real football clubs.

I am a Manchester City FC fan, one of the richest clubs in the world and I shun the idea of this stupid Super League, I am against giving the richest clubs a free meal ticket, free money just because they are one of the most wealthiest of clubs.

What do you think of the stupid Super League?

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal Supporters Caught Offside

Looking at the latest figures it seems Spurs and Arsenal fans are being taken for a ride, both London clubs have achieved nothing of late, Spurs at one point was even threatened with relegation until old slaphead Redknapp turned up—"damn him'.

ST = Season Ticket, PG = Per Game

Spurs ST £635 - £1675 PG £33 - £88

Arsenal ST £925 - £1825 PG £49 - £96

Man United ST £513 - £931 PG £27 - £49

Liverpool ST £682 - £731 PG £36 - £38

Chelsea ST £520 - £1125 PG £27 - £59

Everton ST £443 - £586 PG £23 - £31

Manchester City ST £419 - £576 PG £22 - £30

Forgive me if I'm wrong but is not £100+ to £500+ more than Man United, Chelsea, or Liverpool a blatant rip off?

Even per game is up to double the price of most other clubs.

Couple this with the arrogance of Arsenal and Spurs fans and you have a picture of two clubs ripping off gullible and delusional supporters.

I'm all against ripping any supporter off and find it a disgrace but after the mouth we City fans have received from these two sets of fans I won't be in support of.

You could argue that Arsenal are in Europe on a regular basis but then I'd say "but they are not winning anything are they?" Quite possibly Arsenal supporters could see themselves dropping into a lower European place if their club don't start spending so if that was to happen then would these prices not be outrageous?

There was me thinking Man United was the only one putting their prices up, some clubs are already miles ahead of them in the rip off race.

City Fan Brands the British Media, Blatter, and Platini "A Joke"

Though I am just a small fish in a big pond—meaning "amateur writer"—I believe a good story should be based on fact with the imagination and talent of the writer to capture and entertain, I do not believe in this rubbish of having to fabricate and lie my way to capture the reader's attention.

I believe the British media are failing to keep up with the standard they set in the 1990s and are now resorting to misleading and lying to us, fabricating stories thinking it will do no harm.

So it is not only the British government that have got it all wrong but also the British media, for instance while the rest of Europe are watching on as Manchester City FC continue to chase the signatures of Carlos Tevez and Samuel Eto'o and FC Barcelona chase the signature of David Villa, all the British media can muster is a story on how Chelsea FC and John Terry snub Manchester City FC.

For added measure, about how Chelsea and Manchester City are locked in a tribunal over the development fee for Daniel Sturridge with Chelsea only offering £3 to £5 Million and City wanting more like £8 to £12 Million.

We City fans are known for our strong outer shell, armour if you will, so what the British media thinks of us is of no concern but surely if this continues, who will eventually lose out?

Some British Media outlets have always been anti-Manchester City due to their love affair with the red wearing Salford based club named Man United so I guess it is to be expected, but it seems we are going to need an upgrade in our City armoury.

I spoke to a Chelsea FC fan not so long ago, one of the respectable lot that disassociate themselves with the so-called Headhunter idiots, they suggested to exhibit offensive satisfaction to the dislike forced upon us and to embrace the love, I mean hate the opponent freely distributes while smiling back with great delight, in other words enjoy their negativity.

So, along the lines of what Scotty once said "We're gonna need a bigger shell captain", I wonder if Ebay sell a bigger shell?

Instead of attacking, mocking, and poking fun out of British football and British clubs, why are the British media not attacking Platini and Blatter?

Michel Platini the Frenchman and Uefa president who freely admits he hates the English? Are none of the British media English?

Look Platini up on Wikipedia, he looks freakishly like Napoleon Bonaparte.

Sepp Blatter, President of FIFA and hater of the English Premier League and their spending power, in love with La Liga and their spending power.

One thing that ticks me off is, where was Blatter and Platini when all this corruption in Italian football kicked off and where was Blatter and Platini when football fans were being attacked and killed in Rome?

They were planning on continuing to gift Champions League finals to Rome despite the violence and in my opinion I believe it is and was to intimidate English clubs and their travelling supporters due to their dislike for the English.

Where exactly were the British media on such matters? One or two part-time outlets did their best to cover the news with little affect as a travelling supporter getting critically hurt or losing their life is not front page.

It seems the under-dogs not only have the arrogant top four to deal with, they also have their supporters and the media to deal with.

Whether you like it or not Manchester City FC are fighting the corner for the rest of the English Premier League v. the world, so if you're a supporter of a non-top four side from any country then spare a small thought as you may also find yourselves in the same situation in the future.

It's people like Blatter and Platini that want to curb transfer fees and player wages which will mean your task of competing with the elite one day will be even harder especially when your own country's media are not around to back you up.

What exactly were Platini and Blatter saying when City chased Kaka? What were they saying when Real Madrid signed Kaka, what did they have to say about Real Madrid spending £200 Million on players in one transfer window?

Are British Football Associations and media powerless against Europe?

Is footballing Britain starting to lose its edge?

In Memory Of Marc Vivien Foe: 1975-2003

Marc Vivien Foe—I was so excited when he arrived, so devastated when he left.

City fans around the world, take time in honouring our Marc Vivien Foe, the man that became a legend and a man that has since saved the lives of fellow African footballers.

A true legend and hero.

Marc-Vivien, who had spent a successful 2002-03 season on loan at City from Lyon, was playing for Cameroon in a Confederations Cup semi-final against Colombia when he collapsed in the centre circle after 72 minutes.

Desperate and lengthy efforts to revive him failed, and an autopsy later revealed that his death was heart-related. Marc-Vivien was given a state funeral in Cameroon, while City retired his No.23 shirt as a mark of respect.

Foe, who won the French title with Lyon in 2002, made 38 starts in 41 matches under manager Kevin Keegan, and scored nine times, including City's last-ever goal at Maine Road in a 3-0 win over Sunderland on April 21.

Club Secretary Bernard Halford said, "Marc-Vivien was popular with fans and fellow players, and the shock of his loss is still as fresh today as it was in 2003. He never gave less than his best and will always be remembered with affection by everyone connected to Manchester City."

Premier League Broadcasting, Sky, Virgin and BT

Many entertainment broadcasters such as BT Vison, Sky, and Virgin Media are working towards replacing Setanta, many Setanta subscribers are worrying that they will be paying for something they will not receive i.e. English and Scottish Premier League football.

I cannot speak for Sky or Virgin Media but I am a BT Vision customer and have done my part in investigating what will happen in the next month or so.

I made a few phone calls to BT to clarify what will be happening with Setanta, now seeing as I do not pay for Setanta as it is free to Bronze, Silver and Gold Pack subscribers I had no worry of not getting what I was paying for.

If you are however paying for Setanta then you will inevitably be paying for the Setanta channel minus Premier League football. Setanta it seems will probably go into administration but the word is that Setanta will still be broadcasting its channels in the process.

BT have however confirmed and reassured me they are doing all they can and are in the process of working on a solution to give their customers the sports coverage they are currently losing with Setanta.

Whether that be with ESPN or Sky I do not know but I know this much, Sky are apparently working with ESPN. I am sure all you American and Canadian Premier League fans are throwing a party right now, congratulations.

The group are Sky, Setanta, ESPN, BBC, ITV, Virgin Media and Eurosport.

Many British viewers maybe thinking but what about us, well all I can say is I'm not worrying as these broadcasters are currently working on it, its inevitable as we pay to watch, if we are not paying they are out of a job and out of pocket.

English domestic cup action will probably still be covered by ITV and the BBC is my guess.

BT Vision customers: Do not throw away your Setanta Viewing Card, BT are working on bringing us the channel or channels that ESPN will broadcast Premier League football on.

Setanta GB has gone into administration.

The Evolution of Football and the Carlos Tevez Saga

Many are panicking when they should not be, and many are not panicking when they should be, evolution cannot be stopped but some think they can rebel against and deny evolution.

Whether we like it or not, the future is changing be it for the worse or for the better. I believe some are blind to evolution, some out of pure ignorance, others because they find it hard to process.

One such group of sportsmen are neither ignorant or have the inability to think logically and one of those men is Kia Joorabchian.

What do Man United and Liverpool have in common and what do Chelsea and Manchester City have in common? The first two clubs are in extreme financial difficulty though they choose to deny it and the later two clubs are in financial heaven.

Long term stability is what most businesses plan for, if they have no long term stability they are a risk and a danger. Most refuse to take such huge risks when it boils down to the safety of their families and I believe Kia Joorabchian has positively and safely advised Carlos Tevez to avoid such gambles.

While many think Carlos Tevez is moving for the money they fail to realise Carlos has not seen or received any possible contract offers, how can Tevez have based his choice not to rejoin Man United on money. There is no guarantee Carlos will get a better deal than what Man United have offered.

By the law of football no one was allowed to offer Carlos a contract until his contract with Man United was over.

Carlos Tevez has chosen to not stay at Man United because of personal reasons backed up by logic so no matter where he ends up I wish him all the best, honest to god he was the only United player i did not detest.

Over the coming years we will see the inevitable fall of some clubs and the inevitable rise of others, whether it be your club or not this can only be good for football.

Because Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka joined La Liga, people seem to think the English Premier League is losing its reputation as the best league in the world. To think in such a narrow way is illogical as I can name over 20 up and coming youth players at English Premier League clubs that have the potential and ability to exceed Cristiano Ronaldo but none of them are at either Man United or Liverpool.

I have not even mentioned the imminent arrival of more superstar players to the English Premier League, two such players are at Manchester City right now. Pictured above, Vladimir Weiss tipped to exceed Cristiano Ronaldo by some of the most respected coaches around who helped Manchester City's academy win the FA Youth Cup, and a striker by the name of Robbie Mak who along with a few other graduates just gained promotion from Manchester City's academy to City's reserve squad.

Take a look around and see for yourselves, football is becoming more exciting, more competitive and more enjoyable, Just witnessing what my own beloved Manchester City FC does in the community and what our players do for charities breathe fresh air into football.

Embrace the Evolution.

From Idol to Enemy, United Fans Start to Show Their True Colours

Once a fans' favourite, now United enemy number one, here is a break down of what United fans have to say about Carlos Tevez.

Sit tight, it's pathetic at best whilst hilarious at the least.

Quotes from United fans across the net:

From skysports:

TheMagic7 says "I have lost for Tevez, and if he does join Manchester City over Liverpool or Chelsea, then I am sorry to say, but he did go for the money."

Twisted says "the City fans know that players only go to them for money there's no passion in there side enjoy 10th again XD."

From republicofmancunia.com:

Macheda is God says "Thank god now the squad is virus free."

¡No Pasarán! says "F*** him….SIGN UP GIUSEPPE ROSSI."

They seem to think Dimitar Berbatov is better than Carlos Tevez, now if that is not hilarious then what is?.

Pooja says "Good riddance and win f*** all where you go next!"

Mark Moore says "it turns out he’s just another mercenary. Thanks for the goals but also good riddance."

One United says "excellent, now all the twats are out of the team, Just hope no more f*****g c****s arrive this summer."

Can anyone else find a more ludicrous, insane, deluded, disappointing and ignorant comment from a United fan?

Manchester City's Superman Stephen Ireland Slams Sven's Regime

Manchester City fans were divided when Sven Goran Eriksson led Manchester City, though I refused to be taken in by a great start to a disgraceful end.

Whether I were in the crowd or watching the big screen I never failed to see Sven for what he really was, a high life guy and pansy man smiling for the cameras while his henchmen did all the dirty work.

Sven knew that Manchester City FC's facilities were below par compared to other Premier League clubs but said or did nothing about it, on match days he sat in his seat watching Manchester City get taken apart, posing for the cameras while his second in command run rule in the technical area, it was like imagining Adolf Hitler saying "Ya ya" while his generals pushed their little toy tanks around the model battlefield.

Getting to the point, Stephen Ireland has come out and strengthened my case that Sven was an utter shambles behind closed doors.

"It was the last day of the season and we had lost 8-1 at Boro," he told Sportsmail in March. "I didn’t get the team bus. I got my girlfriend Jessica to drive me home and I thought to myself: 'This can’t carry on. My career and my reputation are not right'.

"After that game we didn’t even get a b******ing. I was so depressed at seeing that people didn’t really care. People were laughing. It was the worst moment of all for me.

"I decided that wasn’t a route I was going down. I didn’t want to live my life travelling home from big defeats with a smile on my face.

"I just felt like I had to change something after everything that had happened. So, the next day I started training. I went up to the hills in Glossop with a martial arts expert, training from 7 to 11am. I dedicated my whole summer to working with this guy.

"I came back super fit and wanted to be No. 1 in the team."

And so it was to be, Sven was sacked rightfully, thankfully, and 'Superman' Stephen Ireland became City Player of the Year.

Three cheers for Superman Stevie, hip hip...

He is once again tending his Martial Artist intensive training while players take their holidays.

Tevez In Bed With United Fans, Must Know For City Fans

Carlos Tevez is reported to have a relationship with United fans so much so that it is reported he does not want to upset the status quo between both parties.

Carlos Tevez has snubbed Liverpool FC apparently by saying it would be disrespectful to United fans to join the Reds. Why on earth would a relationship with United fans be important if Tevez decided to not go back to United?

It seems to me like Tevez never had any intention of leaving Manchester United, though it looks to me like he has just been holding out for an improved contract with better terms and conditions.

I believe Manchester City fans should look at the Carlos Tevez saga as pure speculation, as it has become clear that all is not what it seems.

If Carlos Tevez really wanted out of United so much then why has he not got it over with? There is nothing in his contract that says he has no freedom of speech.

I predict Carlos Tevez stays at United and if so, I believe it is better for City if he does.

Look at it this way:

City get Samuel Eto'o and Roque Santa Cruz, and we have Robinho and Striker Robbie Mak has just been promoted from our Youth Academy into our Reserve squad.

If Tevez joined City, Robbie Mak would not get a look in.

So lets start hoping Tevez does not choose to join us and hope that Eto'o does choose to join us.

Eto'o and Angel to Manchester City, Trial and Truth

If rumour is to be true then this would mean the possible end to the acquiring of Roque Santa Cruz.

Media reports suggest that the Eto'o to Manchester City deal is very much on, British tabloid The Daily Mail claims, "sources from within the Nou Camp have stated that the deal is close to completion."

If true they are suggesting Manchester City FC will pay Eto'o a sum of £192,000 a week, proven goalscorer and obviously at present if not the best, one of the top two best in the world but you're thinking, "Can he reproduce the form for another few seasons in the English Premier League? And if not is paying Eto'o such an amount a complete gamble and possible waste?"

My answer would be a huge "No", Player Sponsors, TV rights and an increase in club revenue due to increased profile from the arrival of such players aid such a gamble.

Eto'o is in the final stage of his career, the chance, the stage where he moves on to achieve more and rewrite history if he chooses to take it. The next five years or so will be his chance to become not just a legend at one club but a legend at another also.

Is Eto'o worth all this hassle: YES

Meanwhile the media are also reporting the Spanish youth sensation, Joan Angel Roman is close to joining Manchester City but due to his age, Manchester City are being warned by his parent club Espanyol that Fifa regulations have to be followed.

Well all I can say is, the media are late and so are Espanyol late coming out and commenting as Joan Angel Roman has been with the Manchester City academy for some time now alongside fellow Spaniards Alex Pla and Jorge Guinovart.

Yes Manchester City are yet to finalise any agreements between both clubs but as far as signing players goes, City already have Angel.

Are Manchester City Moving for the Right Players, In the Right Direction?

Above: Gareth Barry getting the feel of his new home, The City of Manchester Stadium.

Predicted City squad for 2009-10.

Keepers: Shay Given, Joe Hart

Defenders: Micah Richards, Wayne Bridge, Joleon Lescott, Pablo Zabaleta, Nedum Onouha, Vincent Kompany, Javier Garrido, Matthew Upson.

Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Stephen Ireland, Martin Petrov, Nigel De Jong, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Elano Blumer, Vladimir Weiss, Kelvin Etuhu.

Strikers: Robinho, Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz, Craig Bellamy, Valeri Bojinov, Benjani.

If Mark Hughes gets his men then this will be the core 24 of Manchester City FC
We also have up and coming goalkeepers in reserve (Filip Mental, Gunnar Nielsen and Tobias Johansen) so we are not short of goalkeepers.

Would that be enough to challenge for a Champions League place? Or would it be more logical to target a Europa League football place instead?

Unless Mark Hughes pulls off these signings, or at least pulls off signings of the same calibre, I think we will be in for another top seven table battle which explains my fast growing impatience as City drag their feet and make us City fans wait.

I understand Mark Hughes wanting to keep his transfer list under wraps but being left to sift through the rubbish tip we know as the world wide web for a bit of good only to find rumour and speculation gets tiresome.

The sooner June is over, the sooner we can get back to looking forward to our 2008-09 season with hope and optimism.

What's your opinions on Mark Hughes and his targets? Do you think we are heading in the right direction according to the players we are linked with?

I believe Mark is doing a great job, walking before you can run springs to mind.

Transfer Roundup: Carlos Tevez Heading to Manchester City or?

The Mirror's football spy reports that Carlos Tevez has already decided to sign for Manchester City and also reports that Sir Alex Ferguson has conceded that Carlos Tevez will be crossing the Manchester divide.

Meanwhile, Sporting Lisbon are reported to have lodged their interest in Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo while Miguel Veloso still has yet to receive any interest from other clubs.

It seems Mark Hughes is keeping his potential signings list out of the media spotlight so to not become the victim of bidding wars, I for one have been growing impatient and concerned with the lack of positive transfer activity as it has halted since the early arrival of Gareth Barry but apparently we wont have to wait much longer as Hughes seems eager to rap up a few more signings as early as possible.

It seems more likely that Richard Dunne will be leaving Manchester City this summer if City can capture the signing of Arsenal's Kolo Toure or Joleon Lescott.

The London Evening Standard stated Manchester City have contacted West Ham and enquired about centre-half Matthew Upson and West Ham are interested in City striker Daniel Sturridge.

Update: Its official Carlos Tevez has rejected Man United's final offer, all there is to find out now is whether or not Tevez wants instant CL football or is willing to Fight for it. Who is it to be?, Manchester City, Chelsea or is some other club going to gain his signature?

English Premier League v. Europe, A Shift In Balance?

Some are looking at the Kaka and Ronaldo move as a shift in European league power, some are more interested in what is going to be done about inflation in player wage and transfer prices, and others like me prefer to view the picture in panoramic view.

Kaka and Ronaldo leaving for Spain does not affect the English Premier League negatively no no no, I refuse to think such rubbish. At best Kaka was never part of the English Premier League and Ronaldo leaving strengthens the English Premier League as now we do not have to put up with his diving and whining anymore.

In any league in the world, all the cameras are on the most popular players 85 percent of the time so we don't need the most popular players in the EPL diving and whining all the time, it makes for bad entertainment.

Sure there are still a few left to weed out like Drogba for instance, hopefully the EPL will lose him too?

But I want to say this much, if anything Ronaldo leaving is a sign of greatness, we will continue to see more young future superstar players appear in the EPL over the coming years and I mean extremely great young talent of an even greater calibre than Ronaldo.

Sure the Spanish league has just gained more attraction but the EPL still has its strength and appeal. If anything Spain has just become what the EPL was once—an unbalanced mess.

How on earth will other Spanish clubs begin to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid? We have just seen Man United's grip on the EPL become weak giving for more competition. Our EPL has just gained a fresh perspective and all I can say is, about time too as no one club should dominate a whole league, especially one using mass debt to finance the shambles.

It is about time European football governing bodies did something about heavily indebted clubs across Europe.

The next few seasons will show English football still has what it takes to compete at the very top, even without Man United.

World Cup, England, Do Not Be So Easily Pleased and Blind

England are in a group that consists of the equivalent of Championship level players, no offence intended to the rest of Group 6.

Ukraine: Shevchenko heads a group of okay players, nothing spectacular.

Andorra: Extremely far from a footballing superpower and deserved a little more respect than they were receiving.

Kazakhstan: Also extremely far from a footballing superpower, all but one play in Kazakhstan.

Belarus: Alexander Hleb heads a group of okay players. Again, nothing spectacular.

Finally the only team that ever had a chance against England?

Croatia: Some good players but nothing great, solid team work squad but again nothing spectacular.

It was inevitable that England would qualify, even Wales, Ireland, and Scotland would not fail to qualify, even a group of old aged pensioners in wheelchairs would qualify in that group.

No doubt the newspapers as well as the Internet media are praising the fact Wayne Rooney is scoring again, sigh, yes against average countries.

It's quite pathetic, as an Englishman I have to say our national team have not even scratched the surface and done enough to make up for the embarrassment we England fans were subjected too.

Until England comes up against the likes of:

Germany, Portugal, Spain, France, Argentina, Italy, Brazil, Holland, Serbia and Russia.

And a win I see nothing worth talking about, sure I will watch the World Cup but I refuse to support at qualifying stage with a group like England have.

Don't be so easily pleased I say, I know the England fans in Wembley when looking at five minutes of the Andorra rerun we more than happy.

No wonder Capello is playing with his cards next to his chest by continuing to say 'we still have a long way to go.'

The Daily Mail state "Now that's what you call a striker", referring to Wayne Rooney's two goals against—wait for it—Andorra, the country that only defend and never attack with the defencive ability of a Championship club from Ireland.

I am still coming to terms with the footballer I so think is past his best having the same view as I, David Beckham admitting to Skysports that the job is not done yet.

Too right it is not done yet, see you all at the World Cup, then and only then we will see if England can perform and achieve what the fans really deserve.

Scum Media Lies About Robinho Wanting Barcelona Move

How many times does Robinho have to say "I am happy at Manchester City?"

Media outlets are picking up on and plaguing the newspapers and Internet with more fabrication, who put the idea into their pea sized brains that lies would make for good news or that lies would sell more papers?

Robinho quickly rubbished rumour that he was wanting out of Manchester City with intentions of wanting back at his mother club Santos.

Rubbished claims that he was unhappy at the same time.

Any football player in the world would always like to be and be honoured to be on a team full of superstar players, so when they suggest it that is all it is, just a respectful suggestion.

It does not mean they want to move to that club, I would love to see the scum that write this rubbish come on here and try to justify their lies but then again, I predict them to be cowards, liars are usually also cowards.

Just one look at Brazilian defender Luisao telling Sky sports he would love to play for City shows Robinho is happy and not wanting out, why on earth would Robinho want other fellow Brazilians at Manchester City if he did not want to be there himself?

Over the next couple of seasons Manchester City are going to put some people in their place, none more so than Arsenal and Aston villa fans with a few Liverpool fans for measure, most ManU fans have their heads between their legs keeping a low profile, it seems the media spouting this rubbish are fans of these clubs, otherwise why would they want to try sabotage Manchester City's image and project.

We all know Footballers read newspapers and surf the internet, they are human afterall. So what would a player heading for Manchester City think if he read rubbish like Robinho wanting out?

I would have to say, let's just hope they don't fall for the same tosh, I refuse to believe myself and ask the right people all the right questions.

From as early as I can remember I had a belief that one day Manchester City would be back in business at the very top level, I never let go of that belief and for that, I have been rewarded for my faith.

One thing is for sure, most footballers never stay at one club for their entire career, but right now Robinho has no intention of leaving City and that I am thankful for, I am sure the rest of our fans are also.

Kaka Leaves to Help AC Milan? Immature and Manipulated?

What is with this Kaka stating he left to help AC Milan? Seriously, if Kaka wanted to help AC Milan, then he should have either stayed and pulled off the best season of his career or left for the £100 Million City were offering.

He states he took advice from David Beckham of all people, who worse to take advice from than David Beckham?

You could not get worse advice anywhere else and that is coming from an Englishman calling another Englishman an average hyped up footballer glorified by two hyped up clubs.

I am so glad Kaka did not come to Manchester City, because Kaka arriving would have pushed out Stephen Ireland and lets face it. I rate Stephen Ireland higher than I do Kaka.

I personally think we need a battling attacking right midfielder and not a flair right midfielder, as we already have Robinho on the left.

You maybe would point out to me that one is left footed and the other is right and I would respond with, sometimes having two none defensive wingers will haunt you and often unbalance a team. How on earth would you keep both these players happy?

Well getting back to the point of Kaka, was he pushed out by AC Milan officials?, is he immature enough to be persuaded and manipulated?, did he lie to AC Milan fans? and Has Kaka made a grave mistake leaving for Real Madrid.

Surely Real Madrid are just another Man United, glorified plastic clubs on the edge of collapse. History accounts for absolutely nothing in the financial world though fans delude themselves into thinking it makes you immortal in world football.

Only time will tell the story but that does not stop us from talking about possibilities and maybes.

Wait a minute, why has the world not turned on Real Madrid like they did on Manchester City?, surely that is just bluntly and outrageously hypocritical?.

After all that 'you're destroying football' attack the puppets are shown for who they are.

So what is your opinion on the Kaka saga, does he deserve to be in the same boat as Cristiano Ronaldo, a slow sinking boat of debt.

Its clear to see these clubs will eventually be forced to sell players but will they? Or will they sell all their other players just to keep the flair boys?

Don't get me started on God and Religion.

Manchester City Fans Should Be More Optimistic, Less Pessimistic

I have noticed some City fans are talking about the negatives of being Manchester City so I would like to talk about them also.

Question: Will other players want to come to City after seeing Gareth Barry witch hunted and branded greedy?

Answer: Sure they will, the ones with balls anyhow. Football is not just a game to footballers, it is their livelihood, a job.

Question: Will it cause unrest when the current City squad see more and more stars join City when comparing wage and will losing their first eleven place cause a problem?

Answer: Possibly some yes, but if they lose their starting place then they have to up their game, if not and if they are not content with just playing a bit part then they will move on and someone better will replace them. If they are not happy then they should leave.

Question: Will we end up like Chelsea and spend truck loads of money and fail only to change managers and throw more money away?

Answer: Difference between us and Chelsea is, we have an extremely productive academy to back us up, their production line stopped at Terry and Lampard, they even pumped excess money into buying youth talent and we still have an extreme amount of talent coming through the ranks.

No disrespect to Chelsea as I am well aware that they were already a Champions League club but let's just say they never really had much competition seeing as only four clubs were ever in the top four shouting anyway,

Before being purchased by the Russian their academy was none existent when talking about big talent. In my opinion the foundation was slippery.

We also have owners with limitless finance whereas Chelsea's owner has a limit.

Also Hughes is showing we wont be held to ransom so we probably wont be seeing a bigger signing than Robinho, quality signing sure like Eto'o or Tevez possibly but not record breaking. As well as that Hughes is proving to be quite the transfer whizz with Barry, Given & De Jong.

Question: Will great players join City and believe in the City revolution project?

Answer: Well Gareth Barry has, De Jong, Shay Given, and Robinho have so why should they stop there?

Question: What if we are continuously bombarded by bad press and continuously attacked by other clubs? What would this do to our overall image, 'could our billions cause us more harm than good?'

Answer: All clubs get bad press at some point, it's how our club deals with it that matters, as for being attacked by other clubs? Well I pretty much don't care and neither should you, as long as our club don't break any rules and does everything by the book we will be fine.

As far as our image goes as a club and fan base, well that all depends on us and our club.

Question: What about all the abuse our club and fans are getting, what is that doing to our club profile?

Answer: Nothing what so ever is my answer, most are either, jealous, bitter, envious or upset. You should not care what they think, lose no sleep and inhale the blue rays of the moon.

Question: Do us City fans have the right to feel optimistic, excited and energised, do we deserve some sporting happiness?

Answer: Damn right we do and if I want to believe we can break the top four then I will and I don't care what anyone thinks.

Picture above: Gareth Barry disarming Bastian Schweinsteiger, a player I would love to see join City.
