Daniel Sedin Slump: Was Giving the "C" to Bobby Lu Such a Good Idea?

Daniel Sedin was Vancouver's first choice, second overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He was the first week All-Star of week one of this year's NHL season.

He scored 29 goals last year, but only has two so far this year. Tim Thomas robbed him and his brother last night.

Daniel is slumping and I think GM Mike Gillis' silly decision to name Roberto Luongo the Captain may have something to do with this.

Not naming an alternate captain has me scratching my head too, Danny!

No matter what Steve Berube and burger boy from the Ottawa Sun think, this guy comes down with a nasty cold everytime he is in his own zone. It is obvious in the way he coughs up the puck.
