Chris Jericho Vs. Shawn Micheals: Only One Way to Settle The Feud

Chris Jericho is the current World Heavyweight Champion and Shawn Micheals had a shot at the world title this rivalry has been going since just after Wrestlemania and it hasn’t gotten old. I think there is only one way to honestly settle this match. Forget trying to maim or disfigure each other its proving which one is better. There is only one way to prove this....an Ironman match.

The ironman match has always brought out the best in both competitors involved. Triple H and The Rock, Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar, and Shawn and Bret. The matches these men have had all year have been incredible both are great showmen and have the skills in-ring and on the mic to make this rivalry believable.

I think the only way to settle it is in an ironman match. I think both could go the hour time limit and it would be a match for the ages.

Looking at both men no they aren’t as young as they used to be but I think they could both still go. It could be a match of a lifetime for both superstars. Jericho and Michaels match up so well that any match they have is almost flawless. These two are easily in the top 25 greatest in ring performers of all time and think a 60 minute ironman match would honestly be incredible. I could even care less who won it would just be worth seeing.

Michaels would have the edge with being in an ironman match before and being in that match with Bret Hart, but Jericho wouldn’t be an underdog. Jericho has had many matches with some of the best to ever grace the squared circle. I don’t believe either man has an equal in the WWE right now.

I want one more match and then the storyline can end and i think the only way to end it is 60 minutes as many falls or submissions as possible...The Ironman Match.

The Worst Champions in WWE History

There is always discussion about who arguably is the best champion in History. Have you ever wondered who could possibly be the worst of the WWE champions ever?

I’m talking about all of the titles: the WWE title, World title, Intercontinental title, United States title, ECW title, World tag, and WWE tag titles.

It’s hard to imagine these coveted titles being given to the wrong person but it's happened, and some of these champions just make you want to cry a little.

As I go over the list of competitors who have held the WWE tag team championships, I see many great names Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, Los Guerreros, and RVD & Rey Mysterio. But looking at the list, it was simple who was the worst: Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree.

Do you remember Kenzo Suzuki? I barely do, but I do remember that he was one of the worst gimmicks in the WWE. Rene Dupree was a good tag champ as part of La Resistance but with Kenzo Suzuki they were probably the worst of the Smackdown tag teams.

The World Tag Team Titles have been the catalyst to better things or cemented some of the greatest tag teams legacies. The Dudley Boyz, Edge & Christian, The Hardy Boyz, The Wild Samoans, Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson, and The British Bulldogs, just to name a few.

But the worst I’d have to say due to storyline and gimmick reasons was Billy & Chuck. Billy Gunn was probably one of the best tag team wrestlers a and major star that never was, and Chuck Palumbo was no slouch, either, but when put together as the duo in the hot pink tights and the obviously gay overtones, and does anybody remember the civil union ceremony that almost happened on Smackdown?

The United States championship is one the most coveted titles in the history of professional wrestling. The greats have held the title but that hasn’t stopped them from making a mistake when allowing the title to go around the waist of Lex Luger twice.

Lex Luger has to be arguably one of the worst stars ever. Thankfully neither of his title reigns were very long. You have no idea how mad I was when “The Total Package” beat Bret Hart for the US Championship, but thankfully it was only for three days.

The Intercontinental Championship has been the catalyst for many to become WWE Champions. But just like the US title, it has been put into the wrong hands. Marc Mero had no business being a champion at all. It didn’t matter which gimmick he was using “Wildman” or “Marvelous” especially winning it from arguably one of the best champions in history, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, our beloved Triple H.

The ECW championship has been held by many incredible superstars, RVD, Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Sabu, Tazz, and Bam Bam Bigelow. But the worst thing to ever happen is kind of a toss-up between Bobby Lashley and Mr. McMahon. Neither had any business being in the land of extreme.

I could never see Lashley being part of the original ECW, which is why it was so hard for me to see him win the title from Big Show. Mr. McMahon is a great personality for TV, but no business as a champion the time that these two were facing off for the ECW Championship was the darkest time in ECW history.

The World Heavyweight title hasn’t been on the scene very long. Unless you want to go back to its WCW days so to be fair I will pick two stars one from the world title coming into WWE and one from WCW. The worst champion in WCW history is David Arquette.

We all remember this sham as probably the worst thing to ever happened to WCW next to getting Vince Russo as head writer. This was just a joke on so many levels and really as a fan made me change the channel and not watch for a month. The second joke as world champion for the WWE era is The Great Khali. I cringed at the sight of Khali holding the title above his head.

Now for the coveted WWE Championship. Its hard to believe that Vince would put the WWE title in the hands of someone that isn’t up to the standards that the WWE Champions before them held and that man is John “Bradshaw” Layfield.

I had a hard time watching him beat Eddie Guerrero for the belt and defending it against the likes of Big Show, Kurt Angle and The Undertaker and win. The biggest reason I cheered for John Cena winning the title for his first time was finally watching it come of the waist of JBL. I hope to never see a world title or the WWE title around this man’s waist again.

Who's Next in Line to Win "The Big One"? ECW Edition

If you have read my last two articles you know where I’m going with this. We have seen a few ECW superstars become ECW Champion and go on to other brands and become successful, and stars that weren’t successful on other brands come to ECW and be successful. Matt Hardy and Mark Henry are the best examples of this. Matt Hardy after years of not winning a singles title won the U.S. Title just before his departure from Smackdown to ECW, and Mark Henry as been in world title contention for years as well send them both to ECW and you get first time world champions.

ECW has the new superstar initiative which always brings are stock of brand new stars with a mix of older ones. So allow me to reask a question i’ve asked twice before now, Who is in line to win “The Big One”?

Finlay, he loves to fight but let's not think he doesn’t love to win gold either. Finlay was on the mid-card in Smackdown and the occasional world title match. Finlay is world champion material. Is Hornswoggle holding him back? Finlay can produce main event level matches. In fact he had a great feud with former ECW Champion, Bobby Lashley. I hope one day I see Finlay holding championship gold.

Mike Knox is one of the most impressive big men in the WWE today. He’s faced everyone on ECW. He is the only star besides Elijah Burke and Tommy Dreamer that has been around since the early days of WWE recreating the ECW brand. Mike Knox had a feud with CM Punk in the early days of ECW and the matches were we received by WWE fans. I think Mike Knox has what it takes to become ECW Champion. Then go on to another brand and do some damage there as well.

The Miz has been a tag team champion with former ECW Champion, John Morrison. I really don’t see “The Chick Magnet” being anything more then what he is. a tag team partner. True he does have a win over CM Punk but he’s nothing more then a mid-carder at best. I can’t see him holding singles gold as i don’t see him holding a candle to any champion.

Ricky Ortiz is a impressive athlete and has had a very impressive start to his WWE Career. I see great things from him but i cannot place if he will be a main event player. A former Football player has what it takes to hit hard, but can he hit hard enough and win himself some ECW gold?

Jack Swagger, “The All-American American”, only being on the ECW roster officially for just over a month has made quite an impact. Looking to make his mark by going after “The Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer. You can’t call yourself an ECW star without taking on Tommy Dreamer. Swagger has the look, the charisma and the in-ring ability to be a big deal in ECW and the WWE as a whole. I can see “The All-American American” being a champion, lets see if his ECW career will still prove he has the right to be as cocky as he is.

Evan “Air” Bourne has to be one of the most impressive new stars i have seen in along time. Evan Bourne has taken the wwe by storm has quickly been engulfed by cheers from the WWE Universe. He has the most hang time i have seen from any high flyer.

His Shooting Star Press finisher is the best that has been seen ever. Teaming with the likes of Rey Mysterio and showing that despite his size he can go by taking on the likes of Kane. I see nothing but huge things from Evan Bourne and can’t wait to see where his career goes. This man will have gold around that waist of his its just a matter of time until it’s there.

ECW’s roster even if it doesn’t have the roster isn’t as big as the other brands is just as talented and just as stacked with potential. Every star i have mentioned can become a big part of any brand and will make ECW an incredible show to watch. We will all be sitting back watching these stars become Superstars that is without a doubt. But who will be the one that does it better then the rest. As of right now its Evan Bourne but you never know what the future will hold.

Who's Next in Line to Win "The Big One"? Smackdown Edition

Smackdown, the home to the likes of Edge, Triple H and The Undertaker. We love to see these superstars engage in epic battles to be in the top spot. All of these stars are established and are all huge superstars. On Smackdown we have the likes of Jeff Hardy, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Carlito just to name a few. I want to take a look at the rest of the roster and look at who could be to steal a moniker “The Next Big Thing.”

Jeff Hardy always seems to be on the brink of winning the WWE championship. He can never seem to grab that brass ring though. Jeff Hardy is his own worst enemy. Before Wrestlemania 24 he was the obvious winner for Money in the Bank. Jeff Hardy should be WWE Champion right now. But everytime he gets close his personal life gets in the way of his professional. I would love to see Jeff as champion. But can he defeat his demons for good and finally take his spot atop the main event ladder like we all know he can?

Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) is the longest reigning United States Champion in Smackdown history. His Wrestlemania 23 match against Chris Benoit showed MVP has the skills to take on anyone in the WWE and have a great match with them. MVP hasn’t been able to break from Top Mid-Card status. MVP has the mic skills and in ring ability to be a top guy. When MVP gets his chance will take advantage of the situation or will he be doomed to live on the Mid-Card forever?

Shelton Benjamin is one of the best pure athletes in the WWE to steal a line from Jim Ross. Be has in-ring skills the likes of which very few have ever been able to match. Yet he can never seem to break out of mid-card purgatory.

His mic skills obviously need work. His match with Shawn Michaels during a tournament for the Number one contendership a few years back was a match of the year candidate and it was Shawn carrying the match. But since then we haven’t seen a high caliber match out of “The Golden Standard” since. I want to see Benjamin on the top of the WWE Universe and become what he is capable of, The WWE Champion.

R-Truth. We all know his story. Was k-Kwik in his early WWE run. Then went to TNA as Ron “The Truth” Killings. Became a NWA Champion so who’s to say he can’t be WWE Champion. I do see at least a main event spot like Jeff Hardy but if his popularity continues could we be seeing a future WWE Champion on the rise? He’s got the in-ring skills and mic skills to be a major player. I foresee a WWE world title in the future of the former NWA Champion.

The Brian Kendrick was part of a very impressive tag team and is a former tag team champion. His singles career has gotten to a great start with wins over Jeff Hardy and his impressive outing in the Championship Scramble. I don’t see him toppling the likes of Triple H, The Undertaker or The Big Show. The Brian Kendrick will be a U.S. Champion but i don’t see him being a WWE world title contender.

Mr. Kennedy is the only Money In The Bank winner to never be able to cash in. Kennedy was on the path to main event after the Money In The Bank Ladder match at Wrestlemania 23. Since the injury that cost him his briefcase Mr. Kennedy seems stuck on the mid-card. Mr. Kennedy is a great star. Great on the mic and great in the ring. Will we ever see him with a title or briefcase again. I think if he can stay without injury for a prolonged period of time and maybe hold another U.S. Championship he can jump to where he belongs, the main event.

Umaga, “The Samoan Bulldozer” has faced John Cena twice for the WWE Championship and was undefeated up until the first confrontation. A super heavyweight that is incredibly agile and just as physically dominating. A former Intercontinental champion and wins over two of the biggest superstars in history Shawn Micheals and Triple H. I dont know if i ever see Umaga as a world champion. He’s incredible in the ring and has had some incredible matches, But i still can’t even imagine him as world champion.

Smackdown has a great roster with great main eventers, but i would think it would be incredible to see a new first time WWE champion. I look back at the WWE Championship since Early 2004 and the list of first time WWE Champions have been outstanding Eddie Guerrero, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, John Cena, Edge, and RVD. But since June 2006 no one has held the WWE Championship as their first world title. I think its time to see what the WWE Championship used to do, catapult a new generation of world champions to superstardom.

Who's Next in Line to Win "The Big One"? A Look at The New WWE Talent on Raw

In WWE there is always the question, Who’s next to win “The Big One”? As far as I’m concerned the WWE is stacked with main event level stars with any of them being capable of carrying their respective brands or even the company. Looking at the new superstars that have been appearing on WWE television I keep wondering who’s going to be the next big deal?

Who’s going to be the shining stars and who’s going to crash and burn? We all knew that Randy Orton and Batista were going to be big deals as they were pretty much hand picked by Triple H and Ric Flair. So, le'ts take a look at the new stars and see who will be the next Superstars.

CM Punk. Yes he has already won a World title but we all know it was not done properly and Punk wasn’t used properly. It was the only storyline available to bring a Title back to Raw. He never got to finish a match with Batista and his only wins were over John “Bradshaw” Layfield (JBL). Even Chris Jericho got the clean win over Punk in his own hometown of Chicago.

I think CM Punk can be a permanent main eventer and can carry Raw or Smackdown if given the right opportunity. CM Punk has a huge fan base from his Indy days and his new fans from his time in WWE. I want to see Punk get his title back and win it back and defend it like a Superstar.

Ted DiBiase Jr. Second Generation star, and the tools to get the job done. I think even if he wasn’t billed as “The Million Dollar man” Ted DiBiase’s son he would still be able to be a top player at this time in his career. He has the look of a superstar for sure. His in-ring skills from what i’ve seen are not bad. I think he will be without doubt a Intercontinental or U.S. Champion. I also think he will be able to win a World Title or two.

Cody Rhodes. Second Generation star. Needs to work on his mic skills. He has the in-ring potential to get to upper mid-card level in the WWE. I see him holding the Intercontinental title at some point but i really don’t ever see him winning a world title. Not unless he seriously steps it up.

Manu. I really dont know alot about him except he is a second generation star. The son of Afa has some shoes to fill and I hope he is given the opportunity to showcase what he’s got. Right now he just hangs out side of the ring during a rhodes/dibiase match. I dont see him doing awhole lot unless he breaks out soon.

Kofi Kingston. I have yet to really hear him talk on the mic. His in-ring skills cannot be denied. He’s amazing from the moment he steps in the ring to the bell ringing. I don’t see Kingston becoming more than the Intercontinental champ.

These are the major players in my opinion. I would love for any feed back you have but I can say the state of the WWE’s future with these five stars is in great hands.

The Undertaker or Shawn Michaels: Who Has Given More Back?

The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels two of the biggest superstars in Word Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) history. Both multiple time WWE and World Heavyweight Champions but one question needs to be answered. Who will leave the state of the WWE in the best shape upon their retirement? Who will help make superstars and give the fans 100 percent on their way out the door? Time will of course only tell. Both are guaranteed hall of famers but i want to know who will be known as the one that gave back as much as they got from the company that made them.

The Undertaker, The Phenom, The Deadman, Big Evil, whatever you choose to call him one thing is for sure he is easily in the top 10 if the best superstars in WWE history. When he entered the WWE at Survivor Series 1990 with Ted Dibiase no one could have foretold what kind of impact Taker was going to make on the the WWE. As we all know now Taker is one of the longest running and most dominate superstars in history in my opinion.

Taker is by far my favorite superstar ever in WWE and wrestling history. As I have watched him go in and out of the title hunt and being, in my opinion, involved in some of the greatest story lines in history. I can only hope when he leaves the business he not only goes out on top but is looked at by the younger stars as a superstar to emulate. Taker has faced every kind of superstar that has graced a WWE ring from his early matches with Jimmy Snuka, Hulk Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and Ultimate Warrior.

Superstars that made wrestling popular in the mid '90s in the attitude era “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock, and Mankind. With now facing the likes of Mr. Kennedy, John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista, and Edge. I believe The Phenom gives as much to the younger talent of current times as he did when he was the up and comer facing the established stars in the '90s.

I think Cena, Orton, Batista, and Edge have all benefited from their matches and feuds with The Undertaker. I remember the early days of Cena on Smackdown when he started his “Battle Rapping” with superstars and He had “Disrespected” The Undertaker Cena’s early matches with The Phenom and eventually getting the pin fall victory on him prepared Cena for the future of his career eventually becoming U.S. Champ and eventually WWE Champion.

Would there have been an Age of Orton if Randy would have dropped the ball in his feud against The Undertaker starting at Wrestlemania 21? Arguably he could have but I do believe he couldn’t have claimed to be “The Legend Killer” without going one on one with The Deadman. Could Batista ever be considered a legit heavyweight champion or contender without His wrestlemania 23 match with Taker and continuing feud over the world title and his Win over the Deadman at Cyber Sunday in '07? What about his 2008 feud with Edge that showed everyone just how damn good The Rated R Superstar can be.

Lets go back to towards the end of the Attitude Era with the likes of Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Booker T, RVD, and Chris Jericho. Taker has faced all of these men and respectively lost to them in some form or another. The Undertaker and Kurt Angle had a great series of matches befor Angle’s departure from WWE. There isn’t one main event superstar today that hasn’t benefited from getting in the squared circle with The Undertaker.

“Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Micheals (HBK) , The Show Stopper, The Icon, Mr. Wrestlemania. Just as The Undertaker has no one else can has a claim to WWE immortality as our beloved HBK. When he came on the scene as one half of the tag team The Rockers on July 7, 1988 at a house show. Just as Taker, HBK has faced the absolute best to ever grace the sport.

Bret Hart, “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig. Shawn benefited from established stars on his rise to WWE superstardom such as “Marcho Man” Randy Savage and Ric Flair. The question rises has HBK “made” any other superstars on his climb? If Shawn wasn’t as good as he is would his Wrestlemania 13 match with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin been as much of a catalyst to the Austin Era?

Yes after that match Michaels was gone from active wrestling until his return to the ring at Summerslam 2002 when him and HHH (Hunter Hearst Helmsley) tore the house down. Would Jericho be as effective as a heel if his first feud with HBK starting at Royal Rumble 2003 and the epic match they had together at Wrestlemania 19? Yes, Jericho was an established star at this time but, Shawn helped show why Jericho was the first ever “Undisputed” Champion.

What about the current main event roster. Shawn has had programs with all of them. Orton, Edge, Cena, Batista.... They have all shown in matches with “The Show Stopper” why they are allowed to carry the WWE torch. Could John Cena ever have been considered a “real” champion with out his Wrestlemania 23 match with HBK? Would the Randy “The Legend Killer” Orton have ever started “The Age Of Orton” with out his win over “The Icon” at Judgement Day 2007? Would Batista be able to keep the moniker “The Animal” with out the Stretcher Match at One Night Stand 2008? Who else could’ve given Ric Flair the match he deserved for retirement the “Mr.Wrestlemania” himself.

Looking at the both our beloved WWE mainstays, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels they have faced the same stars. And arguably have turned some of those same stars into Superstars. The Undertakers ladder match with Jeff Hardy showed that the younger Hardy can go for the WWE title. We all also remember the Shawn Michaels vs. Shelton Benjamin on Raw that showed that Benjamin has the tools to put on a match of the year and to go with any main eventer to date.

There are some new up and comers Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr., R-Truth, MVP, Manu, and Evan Bourne. Will our beloved Icons give them the push they have given so many others. Or when the end of both of these illustrious careers comes to an end will there be an up and comer or an established superstar what will want to get in the ring with these men for their final program because they know that they will only help them cement their careers, and give the deserving Taker or HBK the final match they deserve? Or will no one want to because the question will be asked “What have they done for this company?”

Smackdown! Mynetwork TV Debut Success or Bust?

As Smackdown! has ended its tenure on the CW formerly known as UPN! it was time for Smackdown! to deliever huge on its new network Mynetwork TV. I had very big expectations for this broadcast due to the huge broadcasts of Raw for their debut on Spike TV and also the Raw "Homecoming" back to USA.

In my opinion the debut broadcast could either way it all depends on opinion and in my opinion it didn't deliver to the expectations i had but did have some good moments. But as I said in the opinion of the WWE fans as a whole did it live up to the expectations? To decide this I will recap all the matches and give how they went in my opinion. Here goes....

The opening match of the broadcast Rey, Batista, Finlay, and Jeff Hardy vs. MVP, The Brian Kendrick, Kane, and JBL was in my opinion way too long. This match took up the first 30 minutes of the broadcast and it lost my attention because of the length. Did all the performers in the match give it a good try. Yes.

But even watching the crowd reaction was very miniscule until the ending with the amount of major names that were in this match. I did enjoy the ending and watching Jeff get the win giving him momentum for his Match for the WWE title against Triple H. I would say the M.V.P.'s of this match were Rey and The Brian Kendrick.

The backstage segment with ECW GM Teddy Long, Tiffany, Raw GM Mike Adamle wasn't really that great either Big Show being in charge of Smackdown! was kind of a bad call i think. There were two other GMs and it being the kickoff I expected a McMahon to be present and take over due to Vicki's absence.

The promo between Chavo and Show could have gone better as Show accused Chavo of being abducted and Chavo stating he was Kidnapped, both words mean the same thing. Yes this is a minor thing in mosts minds but I laughed at either the Show and Chavo's misuse of words or the creative team's script not being reviewed.

The little pop ups with Gregory "Hurricane" Helms are great. I am a big fan of Helms and can't wait for him to return as he is incredible on the mic and spectacular in the ring. Anything done with helms is done well as all of them came off well. I can't wait for his return to the ring.

The United States Champion Shelton Benjamin Vs. Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella this match was very short. I expected it to be a squash by Shelton Benjamin as Santino is definantly not in the same league of Shelton. But the ending was a good ending due to R-Truth comming out to distract Shelton and Santino getting his Roll up win was more entertaining. I also love the Honk-a-meter.

I dont exactly see Santino making it 65 weeks as champion but if this is how there going about his current title reign anything is possible. Santino is very entertaining on the mic but i dont ever expect him to be anything but a mid-card comedy relief. I also think that Sheltons promo should have been done in-ring and not a backstage segment shown on the screen befor he came out.

To me it showed more weakness in his promo skills as it was probably done multiple times and edited for the crowd. This was another match that really didn't intrest me as Shelton should have beaten Santino as far as ability went but bringing R-Truth out was a good mix i can't wait to see Shelton Benjamin Vs. R-Truth for the United States championship in a PPV enviroment.

Chavo Vs. Mark Henry and The Great Khali. Ok, a punishment match because in the eyes of Big Show he shouldn't have ever been "abducted" by the Undertaker and that's what caused Taker to tombstone Vicki. Chavo deserves more than to be the whipping boy of Vicki Guerrero.

This match was of course a squash match as Mark Henry owned Chavo then tagged in Kahli for the squash win. Once again the crowd did not get behind this match at all. Listening I heard nothing but boos. Chavo deserves a better match than to be squashed by two of the biggest superstars in the WWE than the massive punch to the head by Big Show post match.

To apparently show The Undertaker that Show could do that at any time to The Deadman. Of course that eventually brings Taker to the ring to stare down Big Show as he walks to the back. Any segment with Taker is always my favorite being that Taker is my favorite Superstar but it is sad to not see him in matches on TV.

Six man tag match Ted Dibiase, Cody Rhodes, and Manu Vs. Carlito, Primo, and CM Punk. Once again a taped backstage promo from the World Tag Team Champions which should have been done in ring. Carlito and Primo are very entertaining as a duo. There gonna be great tag champions.

Knowing of the heat last year between CM Punk and Carlito it was funny to see them teaming together another short match. Good finish CM Punk with the GTS (Go To Sleep) for the win along with showing Carlito and Primo high flying skills. The crowd liked this match especially CM Punk getting the win.

The Divas Champion Michelle McCool Vs. The Women's Champion Beth Phoenix i know this match was made to showcase all the divas and the ending was fitting because i dont see Michelle McCool making Beth Phoenix tap out. Entertaining and did what it was designed to do. Keep the male demographic watching.

Now for the Main Event WWE Champion Triple H Vs. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho Vs. ECW Champion Matt Hardy this match showed me alot of things as it was given the proper amount of the time and showcased three incredible champions. This match showed me many different things about the champions.

It showed Jericho's incredible skill as a heel. I believe that Jericho is one of the best heels ever in the history and his story line with HBK has shown that I believe. Triple H is one of the best in ring performers in the buisness and as is Jericho this match was good. A match of the year candidate? No but this was great.

Now Matt Hardy, this match showed that Matt could go with the best of them. He was in the ring with Two of best in the world and he held his own. Matt is definantly ready to be a World Champion and will do ECW great as the ECW Champion and when the time comes for Matt to go on to a new brand he will be a main eventer for the rest of his career as long as he keeps doing what he's doing.

The fans were definetly behind this match as you looked on everyone was on their feet. Great ending to this match I really didn't expect Triple H to lose but I loved the ending Matt was definantly the M.V.P. of the main event and of the night.

The ending segment with Jericho and the ladder was very good and Jeff running out to save his brother and sending Jericho out the ring was great and the Twist of fate on Triple H even better. Both Hardy's are main event caliber wrestlers and are going to put on career performances at No Mercy.

Kozlov I dont know how I feel about this angle. I do believe he needs better competition but firmly putting him with two of your main event guys im not sure about. I think taking on MVP or Shelton Benjamin would have been better.

The Show as a whole did not deliver as it could have. I enjoyed the show but it didn't have the flare that Raw's shows did in the past when it was moved to diffrent networks and Smackdowns move was well advertised as Raws was not during there move to Spike or the "homecoming" back to USA.

I think there could have been better matches and maybe no drag out the first match as much. This week of wrestling has not been bad as we head to No Mercy on Sunday. What were your opinions of the show? Please leave feedback as this is even my first article. Thank you for reading.
