SummerSlam: John Cena v. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship by 10-Year-Old

At Night Of Champions, it was Triple H v. John Cena v. the WWE Champion Randy Orton for the WWE title. Randy Orton was in a world of trouble near the end of the match because John Cena had the STF locked on him and at the same time, HHH had the Sharpshooter locked on him.

When the champion finally tapped out, the ref was confused which submission maneuver was causing Randy Orton to tap out. A few seconds later, Legacy came out and attacked Cena and HHH.

Orton was able to hit the RKO on Cena and then pinned him, allowing Orton to walk out still champion.

The following Raw, the special host Shaquille O'Neal made a Beat the Clock tournament featuring Jack Swagger, HHH, Mark Henry, John Cena, and MVP to determine who would face Randy Orton at Summerslam for the WWE Championship.

John Cena won and will face Randy Orton for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

John Cena should have a lot of hype and momentum because he will have the fans, but he needs to hope that Leacy will not interfere and cause a disqualification.

If he comes out worrying that Legacy will interfere he will most likely lose the match. And he cannot let the Viper gain lots of momentum because it will be very hard to stop the champion.

I think that Cena will find a way to win. Either way, they are both very talented superstars and it will be a great match.

Roethlisberger or Manning: Who's Better? A Nine Year Old Provides Some Answers

Pittsburgh Steeler Ben Roethlisberger and Indianapolis Colt Peyton Manning began their NFL careers as starters. Both have won Super Bowls. Both have been league MVPs. But who’s the better quarterback?

In most ways, both quarterbacks are evenly matched. Good size, great arm strength, natural leaders...but in some ways Peyton is better, where in other ways Roethlisberger is better.

Year One: Rookie –v- Rookie

One particular area where Roethlisberger has been better is his completion percentage. Sure, Manning has thrown for more yards in every season so far, but that’s because of two simple reasons: Big Ben has been injured, and Eli’s big brother has thrown a lot more passes in each game.

In Manning’s first year, he threw about 35 passes each game, but Roethlisberger threw around 21 passes on any given Sunday.

Manning completed nearly 57 percent of his passes where his AFC-rival, Roethlisberger, completed just over 66 percent of his passes. In Manning’s first season in the NFL, he threw 575 passes and completed 326 of them. In Roethlisberger’s first season, he completed 196 of 295 passes.

In Roethlisberger’s first year, he threw close to an average of 21 passes a game. The Steelers’ receivers averaged a whopping 13 yards per catch in Ben’s rookie campaign. In Indianapolis, the Colts were averaging a very respectable 11 yards per catch in Peyton Manning’s first season.

Year Two: A Season Under Their Belts

In the second season of both of their careers, Manning started all 16 games, whereas Roethlisberger only started 12 games. Despite playing in two fewer games than his rookie season, Roethlisberger came about 200 passing yards away from tying the previous year’s totals, in large part to his increase in yards per completion.

Manning, the No. 1 overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft, had about 400 more passing yards in his second season than in his first. Since I was not living in America at that time, I am guessing that the Steelers had a really good running back and really good fullback.

In his second season, Roethlisberger threw fewer completions in fewer attempts. He threw 295 passes and completed 196 of them. Roethlisberger managed to throw for 2,385 yards that season. Peyton Manning had thrown 575 passes and completed 331 of them for 4,135 yards.

Year Three: The Best One Yet

Both Roethlisberger and Manning had very good third seasons. Most, if not all, of their stats increased. Peyton Manning completed 357 of his 571 passes. His completion percentage increased to 62.5 percent, not to mention he threw for 4,413 yards.

Roethlisberger, the former Miami (OH) quarterback, threw for 3,513 yards. He threw 469 passes and completed 280 of them. Roethlisberger’s percentage of completions at the end of the season was 59.7 percent. I think this was the best year yet for both Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning.

Year Four

In their fourth year, they both had an okay season, but not as good as their third season. Ben Roethlisberger only threw for 3,154 yards and completed 264 passes out of the 404 he tried. In that season, Roethlisberger, the youngest Super Bowl-winning QB, was healthy enough to start 15 out of the 16 games.

The 1998 Heisman runner up completed just over 62 percent of his passes (343 passes out of 547) for 4,134 yards. On the other hand, Pittsburgh’s Gridiron General completed 65.3 percent of his passes.

My Conclusion: Big Ben Rocks

After four years, it looks like the former Tennessee Volunteer, Peyton Manning, is better at the majority of the stats. However, I think the stats would be a lot different if the younger and perhaps more talented Roethlisberger threw about 100 more passes a season. In my opinion, Big Ben is better because I think he just makes better throws and better decisions with the ball.

Upset Alert: A Nine-Year Old Predicts a Cincinnati Win over Pittsburgh

Upset? I don’t think so. It doesn’t matter that the Cincinnati Bengals haven’t won a game yet this year, but they can still make it to the playoffs. The Bengals are madder than mad. In fact, they’re probably the angriest team out there, which is why they will win this game.

The Bengals can’t have a good start and have a 14-0 lead and expect to win without converting on third and short, by turning over the ball or by letting the Steelers get first downs on third and long. Those are the things the Bengals have had trouble with so far this season.

The Bengals' key to winning is by pressuring Ben Roethlisberger into he making bad passes. The banged-up Steelers should get off the to a good start. It will take some time, but Bengals will correct their mistakes and not make the same mistake more than once.

In every game so far, Roethlisberger has completed more than half of his passes, so that should be the main thing the Bengals worry about. Another reason the Bengals will win is because the Steelers have a though schedule ahead—like playing the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants—so they do not want to give away their best plays.

The Bengals winning this game has nothing to do with that the game is played their home. If the Bengals want one thing, they want Roethlisberger injured early in the game. The Steelers key to wining is running the ball. So far this season, the Bengals have had no success stopping the run. It also helps the Steelers because it is very rare for them to fumble.

This will be an exciting game, with the Bengals winning 17-14. The Bengals continual pressure on Big Ben will force the Steelers to work on a ground game. The Bengals will need to stop the run and everything will fall in place.

An upset? Not to me.

Pittsburgh- Jacksonville: A Nine-Year Old Previews the Sunday Night Match-Up

On Sunday night the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Pittsburgh Steelers. I think the Steelers will win it in an overtime battle, although the Jaguars have more people who think Jacksonville will win.

The Steelers should keep Ben Roethlisberger out of the game for the first quarter because they cannot have him injured early in the game. He has been sacked 15 times on the whole season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars also have to stop Ben's throws. He has thrown 83 passes and completed 53 of them. They also have to double-team Hines Ward every once in a while. Look for Ward to make big plays in the game.

The average points the Steelers score in a game is 16.4 and the average for the Jaguars is 21.1.

Jacksonville's crowd needs to help the Jaguars. On offense, they need to slow down the Steelers' blitzburg. The Jaguars also have to step up on defense and force turnovers. They need to get good yards on the ground, and not force silly turnovers.

The Steelers are 16-50 on third downs, and they need to ignore the Jacksonville crowd.

Stanford at Washington: A Nine-Year-Old Predicts an Easy Win for the Huskies

Washington Huskies vs. Stanford Cardinal on Saturday. Who will win?

Washington will win easily because they had Bye week last week and were able to work on many things that held them back like poor tackling and protecting the ball. Also, they are 0-3, so they should come out focused and angry.

Here's how I think the scoring will go:

<colgroup span="1"><col style="width: 57pt;" span="1" width="76"></col><col style="width: 35pt;" span="1" width="47"></col><col style="width: 38pt;" span="1" width="50"></col><col style="width: 35pt;" span="2" width="47"></col><col style="width: 48pt;" span="1" width="64"></col></colgroup>

1st Qtr

2nd Qtr

3rd Qtr

4th Qtr

Stanford

7

7

14

0

28

Washington

7

14

7

14

42

Their key player is Jake Locker. He has rushed a lot this season, so the Washington lineman needs to give him good blocks so he can get at least five yards per run when Jake's number is called. If the Washington’s lineman can do that they should win the game.

The crowd needs to help Washington too. They have to be as loud as they can no matter what down, no matter what the score is, no matter what. That will be a great help for the Huskies. They need Husky Stadium rocking like my dad remembers it.

The Huskies have to use Jake, but not over use him. They cannot afford to get him injured, or too tired. They have to convert on third and short and not give up turnovers. They also have to stop Stanford on third down opportunities.

The offensive line will have to help out the running backs in order to get offensive balance. If they can get some good yards on the ground they will be set up for the pass. Jake seems to have a better touch on the ball so the receivers cannot drop easy catches.

USC vs. Oregon State: A Nine-Year-Old Offers His Postgame Thoughts

Upset? I would say. But my Dad isn’t exactly upset! On Thursday 25, 2008 the number one team in the country (USC) lost to an unranked team (Oregon State). The obvious key to Oregon State’s victory was Jacquizz Rodgers on offense.

The Quizz, as he’s called by his teammates, is a test that the Trojans failed. The 5’6” running back hid behind his linemen for almost 200 yards and he scored two touchdowns. He got the tempo going early and just kept it coming.

On defense the Beavers only gave up three first downs in the first half. On the Trojans’ defense I kept looking for No. 58 Rey Maualuga to step up but he never did.

During the game I always felt like USC was not out of the game. In the fourth quarter Mark Sanchez threw an interception that Greg Laybourn returned to the USC two-yard line I stared to get scared. I was kind of rooting for both teams. On the next play the “The Quizz” added six more points but their kicker missed the extra point and the lead for the Beavers stood at 13.

On the next drive Mark Sanchez and USC got down field and scored a touchdown and made the extra point. My dad and I looked at each other and said, “Could the missed extra point have been the game for the Beavers?” My dad and I relaxed when the Beavers recovered the onside kick.

The more I watched the Beavers play the more I wanted them to win. In the third quarter it looked like USC might have a little daylight when they turned it into a seven-point game but the Beavers scored again. I think it was cool when the crowd went on the field to celebrate.

My favorite catch is by the Beavers when it bounced off the USC guy and was caught by a Beaver guy for a touchdown. That catch made the top 10 plays. I thought before USC would go to the championship and I still do. USC is a tough team and I am almost sure that they will not lose another game in the season.

I think this might have been the most shocking game I have ever seen. As a USC fan I was not happy with their loss, but I did laugh when USC’s QB, Sanchez, threw his mouth guard down and my dad said, “It was his best throw of the night.”

This is also my third article. I hope you liked it and sent me a comment.

Steelers-Ravens: A Nine-Year-Old Previews Monday Night Smackdown

On Monday night there’s going to be a smackdown between AFC Central rivals Baltimore and Pittsburgh. I think it will be going back and forth, until the fourth quarter, when the Steelers take over and dominate. Chalk up another win for the Men from Steel Town.

But the question is: can Pittsburgh stop Le’Ron McClain and the Ravens' running game? The answer to that is: yes, they can.

I do not think the two teams the Ravens played so far have had nearly as good of a defense as the Steelers have. I think the key to the game will be defense. Like they say, defense wins the games!

I expect the Ravens to go out there and play like they have never played before. The Raven's young 23-year-old quarterback, Joe Flacco, will need to step up and get some yards on the ground by himself.

The Ravens need to take advantage of easy opportunities and the Steelers also have to play really hard, because the Ravens are a better team than they think.

With the Steelers' blitzburg and their hard-hitting linebackers I think there is no way the Ravens can win. The Ravens offense needs to get the Steelers defense tired.

Overall, I think it will be a tight game. The key target for the Steelers is Hines Ward; and the Ravens defense cannot afford to let them get first downs on third-and-long.

They have to force turnovers on defense.

My prediction is: The Pittsburgh Steelers will have 42 points and the Baltimore Ravens will have 25 points.

Well, that is all. I hope you liked it and sent me a comment.

Steelers-Eagles: A Nine-Year-Old Previews Sunday's Game

On Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Philadelphia Eagles. The game will be played at the Lincoln Financial Field at 4:15 p.m. I think the Eagles will pull it off by three points in the one-minute mark of the fourth quarter.

In 2004, the Steelers beat the undefeated Eagles at home in Heinz Field 27-3, so this could be payback. This game will be very close because it is a brand new season.

I think Philadelphia will win because the game will be played at the Eagles' home and they were expected to lose to Dallas but hung with them and came within eight points.

McNabb has two receivers he can count on to get at least five yards per catch. He can throw under to Brian Westbrook, or he can stretch the field by throwing the ball to DeSean Jackson. But when McNabb drops back to throw he had better watch out for the Blitzburgh and the hard-hitting linebackers.

The Eagles' D had better watch out for Big Ben because he completes 76 percent of his throws. The Eagles' defense gets a little break because Roethlisberger has injured his throwing shoulder.

For the second week in a row the Eagles will be facing a 3-4 defense. Both defenses are really good, so do not take any risks. I expect that the Steelers and Eagles will have the same amount of rushing yards: 100. I do not think that this will be a high-scoring game because both defenses are amazing.
